Abstract

Home industries face complex challenges, especially in terms of poverty and social inequality. This research aims to describe the learning process and its impact on family economic welfare through a study of three enterprises that are members of a community, namely Zasna Souvenir, Nadira Souvenir and Hana Bag. This study employed a descriptive qualitative approach, utilizing in-depth interviews, observations, and documentation techniques to collect data. A total of six respondents, consisting of three home industry managers and three employees or community members, were selected to gain diverse perspectives. The collected data were analyzed using the interactive data analysis model of Miles and Huberman, which includes data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing to ensure the credibility and depth of the research findings. The results show that the learning process in home industry includes the stage of promoting familiarity, the stage of identifying learning needs, the stage of formulating learning objectives, the stage of preparing learning programs, the stage of implementing learning programs, the stage of evaluating learning programs. The impact of this learning process not only fulfills basic needs, but also supports education, health, home improvement and social activities. The research findings show that the souvenir bag home industry community is an innovative solution to increase family economic income while fostering an experiential learning environment.  This learning model enables community members to acquire practical skills, foster creativity and increase productivity, ultimately increasing their family's economic income. In addition, this research contributes to identifying an effective experiential learning model in small community-based enterprises, which can be adapted by other enterprises to sustainably improve the local economy. As this model has not been widely tested in the context of cottage industries in Indonesia, it is imperative to explore its applicability and analyze its potential impact on the economic growth of local communities. The insights provided by this research offer a valuable contribution to the development of sustainable learning practices that support community-based entrepreneurship and strengthen the economic independence of small enterprises, especially within the framework of home industries in Indonesia.

Abstract

Community Learning Activity Centers (PKBM) are known to be of low quality and have minimal achievement of school quality indicators. This study demonstrates the direct and indirect influence of management innovation, school ethos, and community involvement on school quality. The sampling technique was stratified cluster random sampling, with a sample size of 400 administrators spread across 15 East Java Province, Indonesia cities. The research design used a quantitative approach with a structured equation model (SEM). Data collection used questionnaires, observation, and documentation. The results showed that management innovation, school ethos, and community involvement significantly influenced school quality. Management innovation implemented by the principal and management team was proven to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of the learning process and school governance. The high school ethos is reflected in teacher enthusiasm, student discipline, and a positive culture within the school environment, directly impacting educational service quality. Meanwhile, community involvement from parents, the school committee, and the surrounding environment strengthens support for school programs, both in material and moral aspects. These three variables simultaneously contribute to improving school quality, both in terms of student academic achievement, availability of facilities and infrastructure, and the school's reputation in the eyes of the community.

Abstract

Background: Education plays a crucial role in improving a country's economy, particularly through entrepreneurship education. With rapid technological advancements, the traditional entrepreneurship model has evolved into technopreneurship, which focuses on digitalization and industrial transformation. However, many educational institutions lack a clear and adequate understanding of this concept, necessitating effective learning methods that enable students to grasp and apply the principles of technopreneurialism. Research Objectives: This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of a multimodal-based learning model in technopreneurship education to enhance entrepreneurial creativity among equality education students. Research Method: The research employs a qualitative case study method. Data collection was carried out through observation, documentation, and interviews with 10 participants, consisting of students and teachers from an equality education school. Research Findings: The findings indicate that the multimodal-based learning model successfully created a more interactive, communicative, and active learning environment. In the context of technopreneurship, this model was shown to increase students' confidence and communication skills, allowing them to engage in discussions and interact effectively. Research Conclusion: Multimodal-based learning effectively enhances students' creativity and multimodal literacy, which has a positive impact on the innovation, development of ideas, and products with high commercial value. The curriculum for technology-based entrepreneurship education must continuously adapt to the needs of the business market to fully leverage this potential. Research Novelty: The novelty of this research lies in the application of a multimodal-based learning model within the specific context of technopreneurship education in equality schools. This study demonstrates that this method not only improves technological literacy but also significantly boosts students' creativity and self-confidence in developing innovative business ideas.
