Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya keterampilan berfikir kritis siswa dalam proses pembelajaran di kelas V SDN 008 Langgini. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan keterampilan berfikir kritis siswa kelas V SDN 008 Langgini. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas, yang dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus dan setiap siklus terdiri dari dua kali pertemuan. Adapun subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah 1 orang guru dan 23 orang siswa kelas V SDN 008 Langgini. Teknik pengumpulan data dengan menggunakan tekik observasi, tes dan dokumentasi. Sedangkan teknik analisis data yang digunakan yaitu dengan analisis deskriptif kualitatif dan deskriptif kuantitatif. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dan analisis data menunjukkan bahwa model think talk write (TTW) dapat meningkatkan keterampilan berfikir kritis siswa. Hal ini dapat dilihat dari adanya peningkatan hasil tes kemampuan berfikir kritis siswa dengan menggunakan model Think Talk Write (TTW) mulai dari sebelum tindakan presentase ketuntasan keterampilan berfikir kritis siswa hanya mencapai sebesar 39,14% dan berada pada kategori kurang kritis. Kemudian setelah menerapkan model Think Talk Write (TTW) pada siklus I pertemuan I presentase ketuntasan keterampilan berfikir kritis siswa meningkat mencapai 47,82% dan berada pada kategori kurang kritis sedangkan pada siklus I pertemuan II presentase ketuntasan keterampilan berfikir kritis siswa meningkat mencapai 60,86% dan berada pada kategori kurang kritis. Pada siklus II pertemuan I presentase ketuntasan keterampilan berfikir kritis siswa meningkat mencapai 69,56% dan berada pada kategori kurang kritis. Sedangkan pada siklus II pertemuan II presentase ketuntasan keterampilan berfikir kritis siswa meningkat mencapai 86,95% dan berada pada kategori kritis. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa model Think Talk Write (TTW) dapat meningkatkan keterampilan berfikir kritis siswa pada siswa kelas V SDN 008 Langgini. Kata Kunci : Keterampilan Berfikir Kritis dan Model Think Talk Write (TTW)

Abstract

This research is conducted due to the low achievement of students reading comprehension skill on children's story material of grade IV SDN 012 Langgini On of the solusion to evercome the problem by implementing QAR Question Answer Relationship Strategy. This study aims at improving students readning comprehension skill achievement on child story material through the impelementation of QAR Question Answer Relationship Strategy on grade V SDN 012 Langgini. This is a classroom action research with two child each cycle consists of two meetings and four stages namely planning, implementing. Observing and reflecting. The subject of this research is grade IV students, total 17 students, 10 male students and 7 famale students. The data collection teachique employed are documentation, observasion, and tes. Based on the results of data analysis, it can be seen that there is an increase in the results of students reading comprehension skill on texs story material before the action, the average completeness of the reading comprehension results is 60. Then in the first cycle of the first meeting increased to 62,35 the first cycle of the second meeting increased to 79,75. Then cycle II meeting I increased become 77,94 and cycle II meeting II increased become 81,47. It can be inferred concluded that the application of the QAR Strategy can improve students reading comprehension skills on the child story material for grade VSDN 012 Langgini.

Abstract

Abstract: Improving Skill Writing Prosa With Applying Engine Parafprase Engineering Grade Vi Sdn 016 Bangkinang Kota. The purpose of this research is to improve the skill of writing prose by applying parafprase technique of class V students. This research method uses Classroom Action Research using Paraphrase Technique in class V SDN 016 Bangkinang City with 25 students. After applying paraphrase technique in cycle I UH I, obtained the average ability of writing free poetry student is 67,03 with mastery 52,5%. The percentage increase that occurred between the average value of initial data and Cycle I UH I that is 31.87%. Cycle II UH II increased to 79.58 with 87.5% completeness, so the percentage increase between preliminary data and cycle II UH II to 56.56%. The conclusion of this research is by using paraphrase technique to improve the ability of writing prose of grade 6 students of SDN 016 Bangkinang City. Keyword : Paraphrase Technique, Prose Writing, Skill Abstrak: Peningkatan  Keterampilan Menulis Prosa Dengan Menerapkan Teknik Parafprase Siswa Kelas VI SDN 016 Bangkinang Kota. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk meningkatkan Keterampilan menulis prosa dengan menerapkan teknik parafprase siswa kelas VI. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas dengan menggunakan Teknik Parafrase di kelas V SDN 016 Bangkinang Kota dengan jumlah siswa 25 orang. Setelah diterapkan teknik parafrase pada siklus I UH I, diperoleh rata-rata kemampuan menulis prosa siswa adalah 67,03 dengan ketuntasan 52,5%. Persentase peningkatan yang terjadi antara nilai rata-rata data awal dan Siklus I UH I yaitu 31,87%. Siklus II UH II meningkat menjadi 79,58 dengan ketuntasan 87,5%, sehingga persentase peningkatan antara data awal dan siklus II UH II menjadi 56,56%. Pembahasan Penelitian ini adalah dengan menggunakan teknik parafrase dapat meningkatkan keterampilan menulis prosa siswa kelas VI SDN 016 Bangkinang Kota. Kata Kunci : Teknik Parafrase, Keterampilan, Menulis Prosa

Abstract

This study aims to describe the process and impact of transforming local folklore into digital formats using generative AI technology as an innovation in literature education at the Elementary School Teacher Education Program (PGSD), Universitas Pahlawan Tuanku Tambusai. This research uses a Research and Development (R&D) methodology with a mixed-methods approach, encompassing a needs survey, product development, and effectiveness testing among PGSD students. The developed digital product consists of folklore reimagined through generative AI (including text, voice narration, automatic illustration, and interactivity) to enhance literary appeal and comprehension. The results indicate that the transformation achieved high satisfaction and readability scores among students, while also improving motivation, literary appreciation, and digital literacy skills. The findings also reveal several technical and conceptual challenges, such as content originality, quality of voice and illustrations, and readiness of lecturers and infrastructure. In conclusion, utilizing generative AI to transform folklore into digital learning materials is an innovative, feasible, and effective strategy for enhancing literature learning in the PGSD program at Universitas Pahlawan Tuanku Tambusai.

Abstract

This study aims to describe teachers’ strategies in fostering children’s empathy through moral story-based learning in lower elementary grades. Empathy is a crucial aspect of children’s socio-emotional development that can be nurtured through literary literacy activities. This research employed a descriptive qualitative method involving grade 1–3 teachers in a public elementary school. Data were collected through classroom observations, in-depth interviews, and analysis of instructional materials. The findings reveal three main strategies: (1) selecting moral stories relevant to children’s daily lives; (2) implementing interactive storytelling with value reflection; and (3) conducting follow-up activities such as empathetic discussions and role-playing. These strategies effectively enhance students’ social awareness, emotional understanding, and prosocial behavior in lower grades. The study recommends ongoing literary literacy training for teachers to integrate empathy values into Bahasa Indonesia learning sustainably.

Abstract

The development of digital technology has created new opportunities for literature learning in higher education, particularly in enhancing students’ creativity and literary appreciation skills. This study aims to describe the integration of literature learning and technology through the creation of poetry podcasts as a medium for expression and literary appreciation. The research employed a qualitative descriptive approach involving students from the Indonesian Language Education study program. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation of students’ podcast projects. The findings indicate that producing poetry podcasts increases students’ interest in reading literary works, deepens their understanding of poetic aesthetics, and improves their speaking and creative thinking skills. The integration of technology in literature learning has proven effective in fostering contextual, interactive, and digitally relevant learning experiences.

Abstract

The background of this research is the low intensive listening skills of grade 3 students. This study aims to improve the intensive listening skills of third-grade students at SDN 001 Langgini. The research was conducted as a Classroom Action Research (CAR), which was carried out in two cycles, and each cycle consisted of two meetings. The subjects in this research were all 13 students of grade 3.Data collection techniques included observation, documentation, and tests. Meanwhile, the data analysis technique used was a combination of qualitative and quantitative methods. Based on the results of the research conducted over 2 cycles, in the first meeting of Cycle I, there were 7 students who achieved the minimum completion criteria, with a percentage of 54% and an average score of 72. In the second meeting, the number increased to 8 students or 62%, with an average score of 76. In Cycle II, during the first meeting, 10 students (77%) achieved completion with an average score of 81. This increased in the second meeting to 11 students or 85%, with an average score of 82. Based on these results, it can be concluded that the implementation of the Script Cooperative Learning Model can improve the intensive listening skills of grade 3 students at SDN 001 Langgini.

Abstract

From this community service activity, it can be concluded that the Dissemination of Independent Curriculum Learning was carried out to welcome the new school year, where Sekolah Dasar Pahlawan is one of the schools that will implement the independent curriculum with changing independent choices. Principals and teachers at educational units that will implement the independent curriculum with changing independent choices must utilize the teaching tools available in the Independent curriculum learning. The dissemination activity was carried out with two materials, namely Differentiated Learning and Numeracy Literacy; presentation and discussion of Independent Curriculum Learning; and Follow-up Plan. In the presentation and discussion activities on Independent Curriculum Learning, the features and problems experienced by teachers were discussed. Dissemination of Independent Curriculum Learning is very important for teachers whose schools will implement the independent curriculum.

Abstract

The purpose of this community service is to provide training to teachers at SDN 010 Langgini. The method of implementing this community service is carried out through a structured and practice-based training approach. From the results of observations, it can be seen that teachers are very enthusiastic in participating in the activity. Through training on internalizing character values ​​in children's literature learning based on Riau folklore, teachers become more aware of character values ​​in children's literature. Teachers also show a high level of curiosity, reflected in their enthusiasm in asking and answering questions. From this observation, it can be concluded that training on internalizing character values ​​in children's literature learning based on Riau folklore provides better benefits than just understanding children's literature. Overall, this activity has proven effective in increasing teachers' insight into the internalization of character values ​​in children's literature learning based on Riau folklore and arousing teachers' enthusiasm and curiosity because they can utilize literature in Riau.
