Abstract

Tumbuhan asing invasif merupakan salah satu ancaman bagi keanekaragaman hayati Indonesia. Tumbuhan ini dapat mengubah ekosistem dengan mendominasi lanskap. Mengingat besarnya dampak yang dapat ditimbulkan oleh invasi tumbuhan di kawasan konservasi, maka perlu dilakukan inventarisasi jenis-jenis tumbuhan yang berpotensi invasif di Taman Nasional Way Kambas (TNWK), sehingga dampak negatif dari invasi akan mudah di cegah. Inventarisasi dilakukan dengan membuat plot analisis vegetasi pada empat tipe vegetasi di TNWK, yaitu vegetasi hutan, vegetasi hutan campuran, vegetasi rawa dan vegetasi alang-alang. Berdasarkan hasil analisis vegetasi, diperoleh 11 jenis tumbuhan berpotensi invasif di TNWK, yaitu Actinoscirpus grossus, Clidemia hirta, Chromolaena odorata, Fimbristylis ovata, Hyptis capitata, Imperata cylindrica, Isachne globosa, Lantana camara, Melaleuca leucadendron, Melastoma malabathricum, dan Mimosa pigra.     Invasive alien plant species are a threat to Indonesia's biodiversity. These plants can change ecosystems by dominating landscapes. Given the magnitude of the impact that can be caused by plant invasions in conservation areas, it is necessary to carry out an inventory of potentially invasive plant species in Way Kambas National Park (TNWK), so that the negative impacts of these invasions can be easily prevented. . The inventory was carried out by plotting vegetation analysis on four types of vegetation in TNWK, namely forest vegetation, mixed forest vegetation, swamp vegetation, and alang-alang vegetation. Based on the results of the vegetation analysis, 11 species of plants that have the potential to be invasive in TNWK were found, namely Actinoscirpus grossus, Clidemia hirta, Chromolaena odorata, Fimbristylis ovata, Hyptis capitata, Imperata cylindrica, Isachne globosa, Lantana camara, Melaleuca leucadendron, Melastoma malabathricum, dan Mimosa pigra.

Abstract

This community service aims to increase environmental awareness and the formation of moral character of students at SMK Perpajakan Riau with an approach based on educational philosophy and environmental ethics. This activity involves an understanding of global and local environmental issues, as well as an introduction to environmental ethics that connects moral values ​​with responsibility towards nature. The methods used include counseling, group discussions, and environmental projects that involve students in concrete actions, such as planting trees and reducing plastic waste. Evaluation was carried out through questionnaires before and after the activity to measure changes in students' knowledge, attitudes, and commitment to the environment. The results showed a significant increase in students' understanding of environmental issues and concrete actions that can be taken to maintain sustainability. Although moral awareness of the environment increased, the greatest impact was seen in changes in students' knowledge and real actions. With this approach, it is hoped that students will not only have strong environmental knowledge, but also a character that cares and is responsible for nature. This activity reflects the integration between the theory of educational philosophy and the practice of sustainability in education.

Abstract

The objectives of this community service are: (1) To provide knowledge to elementary school teachers related to the STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics) learning approach; (2) To provide knowledge to elementary school teachers related to integration in mathematics learning; (3) To provide skills to elementary school teachers related to the STEAM learning approach; (4) To instill values ​​and attitudes to elementary school teachers related to the STEAM learning approach. The training method for the STEAM learning approach to SDN 192 teachers is through: (1) Expository; (2) Questions and Answers; (3) Discussion; (4) Demonstration; (5) Focus Group Discussion (FGD); (6) Project method. The instruments used in community service are: (1) Power Point; (2) Copy of STEAM learning approach materials;. Data collection techniques are through interviews, observations and documentation. Data are analyzed qualitatively. The conclusion in this community service is as follows: (1) Elementary school teachers have knowledge related to the STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics) learning approach; (2) Elementary school teachers have values ​​and attitudes related to the STEAM learning approach; (4) Elementary school teachers have values ​​and attitudes that can be instilled in elementary school children related to the STEAM learning approach.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa pada mata pelajaran IPAS di kelas V UPT SD Negeri 007 Sungai Lipai. Salah satu solusi untuk mengatasi masalah ini adalah dengan menerapkan model pembelajaran Course Review Horay (CRH). Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mendeskripsikan peningkatan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa melalui model CRH di kelas V UPT SD Negeri 007 Sungai Lipai. Metode dalam penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus. Setiap siklus terdiri dari dua pertemuan dan empat tahap, yaitu perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi, dan refleksi. Teknik analisis data yaitu data kualitatif dan data kuantitatif (ketuntasan individual dan ketuntasan klasikal). Teknik analisis data pada penelitian ini adalah teknik kualitatif dan teknik kuantitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini adalah teknik dokumentasi, teknik observasi, dan teknik tes. Instrumen penelitiannya yaitu perangkat pembelajaran, lembar observasi aktivitas guru dan siswa, serta lembar tes soal evaluasi kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian menunjukkan peningkatan keterampilan berpikir kritis dari 35% (pratindakan) menjadi 45% (Siklus I Pertemuan I) meningkat 60% (Siklus I Pertemuan II) dan meningkat 75% (Siklus II Pertemuan II) menjadi 85% (Siklus II Pertemuan II). Selain itu, siswa menjadi lebih aktif dan mampu bekerja sama. Kesimpulannya, model CRH efektif meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis, keaktifan, dan kerja sama siswa dalam pembelajaran IPAS.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa kelas IV SD Negeri 001 Binamang dalam mata pelajaran Pendidikan Pancasila. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa melalui penerapan model pembelajaran Yurisprudential Inquiry. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus, masing-masing terdiri dari dua pertemuan. Subjek penelitian berjumlah 16 siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi dan dokumentasi, dengan analisis data secara kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan signifikan. Pada siklus I, ketuntasan belajar siswa meningkat dari 43,75% menjadi 56,25%. Pada siklus II, meningkat lagi dari 75% menjadi 87,5%. Temuan ini membuktikan bahwa model pembelajaran Yurisprudential Inquiry efektif dalam meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa pada mata pelajaran Pendidikan Pancasila.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya keterampilan membaca pemahaman siswa Kelas V UPT SDN 008 Muara Uwai, dengan ketuntasan klasikal awal hanya 25%. Masalah ini diidentifikasi bersumber dari pembelajaran yang berpusat pada guru (ceramah) sehingga siswa pasif. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan dan menganalisis peningkatan keterampilan membaca pemahaman siswa melalui penerapan model Cooperative Learning Start With A Question. Metodologi yang digunakan adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus, dengan setiap siklus terdiri dari perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi, dan refleksi. Subjek penelitian adalah 8 siswa Kelas V. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui tes (kuantitatif) dan observasi (kualitatif). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan yang signifikan. Ketuntasan belajar siswa meningkat dari 25% pada pra-tindakan, menjadi 50% pada akhir Siklus I, dan berhasil mencapai 100% pada akhir Siklus II. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa penerapan model Cooperative Learning Start With A Question, setelah melalui perbaikan prosedur pada siklus kedua, terbukti berhasil meningkatkan keterampilan membaca pemahaman siswa.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the leadership of school principals in managing education at SDN 007 Pulau Lawas. School leadership plays a strategic role in determining the success of educational management, particularly in planning, organizing, implementing, and evaluating school programs. This study employed a qualitative approach using observation, interviews, and documentation as data collection techniques. The findings indicate that the principal has implemented leadership functions in school management; however, several aspects still require improvement, particularly teacher involvement in planning, sustainable academic supervision, and the utilization of evaluation results for decision-making. Strengthening participatory and effective leadership is expected to enhance the quality of educational management in elementary schools.

Abstract

This research was conducted due to the low level of students’ critical thinking skills in science learning in grade IV of UPT SDN 001 Langgini. One alternative solution to address this issue is the application of the discovery learning model. The purpose of this study was to describe the improvement of students’ critical thinking skills through the implementation of the discovery learning model in grade IV of UPT SDN 001 Langgini. This study employed Classroom Action Research (CAR), which was carried out in two cycles. Each cycle consisted of two meetings and followed four stages: planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The data were analyzed using qualitative and quantitative techniques, including individual mastery and classical mastery. The research was conducted in June 2025. The subjects of the study were 10 fourth-grade students, consisting of 2 boys and 8 girls. Data collection techniques included documentation, observation sheets of teacher and student activities, and evaluation test sheets to assess students’ critical thinking skills. The results showed that in Cycle I Meeting I, the classical mastery reached 40% with an average score of 67.5. In Cycle I Meeting II, classical mastery increased to 60% with an average score of 76.5. In Cycle II Meeting I, students’ learning outcomes improved significantly, achieving 90% classical mastery with an average score of 83. This result was maintained in Cycle II Meeting II, with classical mastery remaining at 90% and the average score increasing to 88. Therefore, this research is considered successful, as it achieved the predetermined success criteria, with classical mastery reaching 90% in the very critical category and meeting the minimum mastery criterion of 75%. The findings indicate that the discovery learning model is effective in improving students’ critical thinking skills. Keywords: Skills, Critical Thinking, Discovery Learning Model

Abstract

This research is motivated by the lack of students' self-confidence in expressing opinions and using scientific language in class V of UPT SDN 015 Tanjung Rambutan. One solution to overcome this problem is through the use of the guided inquiry learning model. The aim of this study is to present the improvement of students' self-confidence in science communication through the guided inquiry learning model for class V students at UPT SDN 015 Tanjung Rambutan. The research method used is Classroom Action Research (CAR), which was carried out in two cycles, each conducted twice. Each meeting consisted of four stages: planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The research was conducted in June 2025. The research subjects were class V students totaling 12 students, consisting of 6 boys and 6 girls. The data collection techniques included observation sheets, interviews, and documentation. The research instruments included teacher and student activity observation sheets. The data analysis techniques used were qualitative and quantitative data analysis. The results of the study showed that students' self-confidence in science communication improved in each meeting. The percentage results in Cycle I, Meeting I reached (50%), Meeting II increased to (66%), then in Cycle II, Meeting I (75%) and in Meeting II reached (83%). Thus, it can be concluded that the guided inquiry learning model can improve students' self-confidence in science communication, particularly in the topic of energy sources and their changes in class V of UPT SDN 015 Tanjung Rambutan.

Abstract

This study aims to improve students' learning activeness through the implementation of the Project Based Learning (PjBL) model in IPAS learning for fifth-grade students at UPT SD Negeri 009 Bangkinang. This research employed Classroom Action Research (CAR), which was conducted in two cycles, each consisting of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection stages. The research subjects were 18 fifth-grade students. Data collection techniques included observation, documentation, and field notes. The research instrument used was an observation sheet of students' learning activeness. Data were analyzed using descriptive qualitative analysis by comparing students' learning activeness results in each cycle. The results of the study indicate that the implementation of the Project Based Learning (PjBL) model can improve students' learning activeness in IPAS learning. This improvement is evidenced by increased student participation in group discussions, collaboration in completing projects, courage in expressing opinions, and active involvement in all stages of the learning process. In Cycle I, students' learning activeness showed an improvement compared to the pre-action condition, while in Cycle II, students' learning activeness increased more significantly and met the predetermined success indicators. Based on these findings, it can be concluded that the Project Based Learning (PjBL) model is effective in improving the learning activeness of fifth-grade students in IPAS learning at UPT SD Negeri 009 Bangkinang.
