Abstract

Tantrums are outbursts of anger and they can occur at any age. An attitude tantrum or what is commonly referred to as a temper tantrum is a child's outburst of anger that often occurs when a child shows negative behavior. Emotional outbursts of tantrums that occur in children with autism are not only to seek the attention of adults, but also as an outlet for a child's feelings for parents and those around him on a whim or feeling he is feeling, but the child cannot convey it. For this reason, researchers propose a system for detecting early symptoms of tantrums in children with autism through facial expressions with CNN. The CNN method is one of the deep learning methods that can be used to recognize and classify an object in a digital image. Then the preprocessing process is carried out using labeling on the data. Then the CNN architecture is designed with input containing 48x48x1 neurons. The data was then trained using 357 epochs with an accuracy rate of 72.67%%. Then tested using test data for children with autism to get an average accuracy value of 72.67%%.

Abstract

There is many electronic equipment that can facilitate the work in cooking. Some of these electronic equipment uses a large amount of electricity. For example in the use of electronic cooking tools such as microwaves, slow cookers and rice cookers. All three cooking utensils have more similar uses, namely in cooking and heating food. Therefore, it is combined into a rice cooker by using temperature control in the porridge cooking mode and setting the time for heating the food. In order to add the slow cooker feature to the rice cooker, the fuzzy logic method is used to control temperature and set the heating time on the microwave feature. On the use of a rice cooker, an Android application is made to select the desired cooking method. The results obtained are the features of slow cooker cooking porridge that is cooked for 2 hours the temperature will be stable at 60 minutes with an average temperature of ± 90.8 ° C, cooking porridge for 4 hours the temperature will be stable at 50 minutes with an average of average temperature ± 81.9 ° C, the cooking porridge for 6 hours the temperature will be stable in the 45th minute with an average temperature of ± 72.4 ° C. While in the microwave feature the results obtained for the length of time required to heat food, the more food heat to be produced.

Abstract

The print-out price for printer services varies according to the density of the paper and the amount of ink used, and the payment is made manually by calculating the total print output. Therefore a system is created that can display rates and total invoices automatically based on time printed, as well as automatic payments that make it easier for service providers and service users. The design of this system consists of Arduino mega, ESP8266, relay, Near Field Communication (NFC), and printer. This system can distinguish the print price rates according to the time of printing, the time span of printing and the tariff is Rp. 300.00 with a printing time of 1-6 seconds, Rp. 500.00 with a time of 7-13 seconds, and finally Rp. 700, 00 with a time span above 14 seconds. The success rate of this system in classifying print tariffs is 95%.

Abstract

This research was conducted because fish feeders are often forgotten by fish owners, so the researchers created an automatic fish feeding system using the Raspberry Pi, Camera Module-v2, Accelerometer Sensor, and Servo Motor. The way this tool works is the reading of water ripples carried out by the accelerometer sensor which later can get a trigger value to turn on the camera module-v2 and take pictures of the fish, the resulting image will be processed to identify the fish's mouth and calculate the number of fish mouths that appear to the surface. When the system can detect the number of fish mouths, the fish is hungry and the servo motor will open the food valve to release the fish food, but when the number of fish mouths is 0 or not detected, the servo motor will not open.

Abstract

The research was purposed to create an aquaponic cultivation system that can monitor and control the pH value and provide automatic fish feed based on time scheduling, and detect the amount of fish feed. Then the results of monitoring pH and the amount of fish feed in the feed will be displayed on the smartphone via the Telegram application. The components used in this system consist of NodeMCU, pH-4502C sensor, ultrasonic sensor, DC pump, servo motor, RTC, wiper pump. Aquaponic cultivation systems can be described as a combination of aquaculture (fish farming) and hydroponics (plant/vegetable cultivation without soil media). In addition to fish farming, fish feeding is generally done by humans manually. This has several drawbacks, namely the frequent feeding of fish that is not in accordance with the schedule and the amount of feed given is not measured. As a result of this, it can be in the form of lack of fish nutrition, stunted fish growth, illness, even causing fish death so that fish yields are not optimal. From the research conducted, the results obtained are the percentage of success in the process of monitoring and controlling the pH of the water according to the scheduled time with an accuracy of pH readings of 98.79% and an accuracy of controlling pH of 100%. The percentage accuracy of the amount of feed given is 99.201%. The percentage of accuracy of detecting feed volume is 60.348%.

Abstract

One of the efforts in increasing the productivity of dairy cows is to apply maintenance management to dairy cows in the form of recording livestock data. Lembu Alam Serambi farmer group has a recording system using livestock cards provided by the Animal Husbandry Department. Cattle cards used for data recording of dairy cows are made from a type of paper that has several disadvantages, namely, easily lost, torn, wet, burned, and dirty. Therefore, to overcome this problem, we apply Android using Near Field Communication (NFC) technology. In this community service, the NFC technology implementation system is integrated with cow's ear tag and android application. This system is used to identify dairy cows and process data recording with an Android-based application. In this cow data recording system consists of two mobile apps, namely cow data record application and NFC tap tag application. The system implementation shows that the community service activity can help facilitate the Lembu Alam Serambi farmer group in the process of recording dairy cattle data.

Abstract

Mitra Organik Jaya mulai merintis usaha media tanam dan pupuk organik untuk mencoba bersaing terutama di tengah situasi pandemi yang menuntut agar pelaku usaha agar bisa menyesuaikan diri dengan media usaha digital market.Mitra Organik Jaya merupakan usaha skala rumahan yang dirintis sejak pertengahan tahun 2020. Karena keterbatasan ilmu dan pengetahuan dalam membuat media tanam serta pupuk organik tersebut. Sehingga solusi dari permasalah tersebut adalah pelatihan pembuatan pupuk dan media tanam organik sesuai dengan standar baku dengan uji kelayakan produk berdasarkan kandungannya. Tujuan yang ingin dicapai dari kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah meningkatkan kemampuan mitra khususnya pada usaha home industry bidang media tanam organik di kabupaten Padang Pariaman. Program pengembangan yang akan disepakati dengan mitra adalah : Desain produk, merek, dan standarisasi uji produk, izin usaha, pemasaran produk berbasis digital market. Semua program ini dilakukan dalam kurun waktu 3 tahun. Pada tahap awal pelaksanaannya di tahun 2020, kegiatan ini telah menghasilkan luaran berupa desain kemasan produk dan merek, serta ijin usaha bagi mitra.

Abstract

Motorcycles are a means of transportation that many people choose for daily transportation. This is because motorbikes are more effective and efficient than cars. However, the rate of loss of motorbikes continues to increase, especially for motorbikes that are rented out. By designing a system that can provide comfort to vehicle renters and increase security in opening a motorbike rental business. Therefore, a system is designed that can monitor the position of motorbikes that can be monitored through an Android application. The motorcycle will be installed with a tracking system using the GPS module, RTC module and nodemcu microcontroller. The GPS module functions to determine the coordinates of the motorbike's whereabouts and is displayed on an Android-based application and the RTC module is used for scheduling notification delivery in the form of messages to tenants when the rental time is up. The results of this study are that the android application can track the position of the motorbike and make it easier for motorbike rental business owners to work.

Abstract

This system aims to make it easier for owners to monitor the condition of the koi pond, and minimize the death of koi fish, and can maintain water quality and maximize koi growth and development. Therefore, a system was created that can monitor the discharge and the level of turbidity of water in the koi pond. This system consists of Arduino Uno, NodeMCu, Waterflow Sensor, Turbidity Sensor and buzzer. This system can determine the condition of the pump, whether the pump is running maximally, the signal is not optimal or the pump off based on the water flow produced by the pump, which is then read by the waterflow sensor. When the water discharge > 40 L/hour then the pump turns on maximum, when 40 L/hour > discharge > 0, then the pump flame is not maximal, and when there is no water discharge produced by the pump then the pump is off, if the water turbidity value > 400 NTU, then the water is in a cloudy state and the buzzer as an alarm so that the owner checks the filter and the pool drain will sound, and later the data read by the sensor will be saved to the firebase and will be displayed on the mobile application, and tegram will send a notification in the form of a short message , when the pump is not running optimally, the pump is off, and when the water is cloudy.

Abstract

This engagement reports the outcomes of a series of training activities conducted to significantly contribute to the development of sustainable agricultural practices in collaboration with our partner, Organik Jaya, located in Padang Pariaman Regency. These training activities encompass various facets with a focus on enhancing the participants' capacity and knowledge. Firstly, we provided training on the technique of composting organic fertilizers from animal waste. Participants were educated on the management of agricultural and livestock waste to produce high-quality organic fertilizers, which can enhance soil fertility and reduce the use of environmentally hazardous chemical fertilizers. Subsequently, we conducted training on the assembly of efficient organic fertilizer grinding machines. Additionally, we offered training in the technique of wood and husk charcoal production using the Drumkiln method based on reverse airflow. This has a positive impact on converting agrikulturlah and forest waste into high-value products like charcoal. Furthermore, we offered strategic guidance on marketing products through online Marketplace platforms, assisting our partners in reaching a wider market and increasing their income. The primary objective of these training sessions was to augment the knowledge and skills of the participants in implementing sustainable practices relevant to agriculture and the environment. The results of these activities are expected to yield positive benefits for local agriculture and provide fresh insights into managing organic raw materials and modern marketing strategies. This engagement provides a crucial foundation for advancing agriculture that is more sustainable and adaptable in facing future challenges.
