Abstract

ABSTRACT Corbicula sumatrana Clessin is typical of freshwater mussels or brackish water economically valuable. C. sumatrana Clessin a shellfish known people with the name pensi. Pensi consumed by people as a source of animal protein and animal feed ingredients. Singkarak Lake used by people in daily life from the source of drinking water, toilets, fisheries, irrigation, PLTA and Tourism. The many activities of the community could be expected to cause pollution and affect the C. sumatrana Clessin. Shellfish become vectors of biotoksin because his diet filter-feeder. Pensi meat is an excellent medium for bacterial growth. This study aims to determine the presence of Escherichia coli and Salmonella sp. on fresh meat Pensi (C. sumatrana Clessin) originating from Singkarak Lake. The research was conducted in July - August 2013. This research is a descriptive method, by looking at and analyzing the presence of microorganisms are bacteria E. coli and Salmonella sp. The method used to determine the bacteriological quality of the meat is pensi by MPN method and examination of Salmonella. Data were analyzed by calculating the number of bacteria E. coli by observing the number of positive results of the estimation of presumptive test, confirmative test and completed test. The next number of bacteria from each positive results are matched with MPN table. Test Salmonella sp. done by looking at the colony grows. Results of bacteriological tests on meat samples were examined in Microbiology Laboratory Research and Industry Standards (BARISTAND Industry) Padang showed that of the four samples tested, three of which were positive for the bacteria E. coli samples take in Nagari Tikalak, Nagari Singkarak, Nagari Saning Bakar and all samples contained Salmonella sp. Of this study is suggested to consumers that cooking pensi perfectly, to avoid diseases that may occur because it is caused by bacteria.

Abstract

ABSTRACT Dragonflies (Odonata) is a species insect that have numbered middle until large and attractive colour. Type of dragonflies Orthetrum sabina have much and found in Java island, and they as predator insect. The goals of this research is would like to know the  population of Orthetrum sabina (Odonata; Libellulidae) in Kanagarian air Bangis, Sungai Beremas district, Pasaman Barat Regency. The research was conducted in Februari 2014. This research is survey descriptive research. Sample of research done for 1 week with condition rice field that flooded and dry land are 3 days in the light months and 3 days in dark month. From the result of population Orthetrum  sabina  in  Kanagarian Air  Bangis  found  that  characteristics  of  Orthetrum  sabina average abdomen length 29-30 mm and body length 50-53 mm have compound eyes green colour with slender abdoment. Totally population of Orthetrum sabina in wet rice field (0,99 indvidu/ m2) higher than dry land rice (0,76 individu/ m2). Meanwhile, average population density in the light month (0,94 individu/ m2) higher than in the dark month (0,77 individu/ m2).

Abstract

ABSTRACBivalve is one of fisheries products having essential value as a source of food.  It is caught in a variety of type sand sizes. Polymesoda bengalensis is a regarded as filtration feeders and detritus feeders. Filtration feeders refine plankton from the waters around, while the Detritus feeders make use of organic materials from plants falling down to the bottom of the water. This research was   designed for revealing the natural forage given to the cultivation of Polymesoda bengalensis. This cresearch was conduced in January 2013 to analyze Polymesoda bengalensis bowel in Muara Nipah Kecamatan Sutera Kabupaten Pesisir Selatan. To conduct the research, survey Descriptive method was applied. The sample was was chosen by using Random Sampling method. The numbers of the sample analyzed was 30 in which the length of the bivalves bodies were < 30 mm, 30-50 mm, and > 50 mm. There were 10 bivalves taken as the representation of each size.Based on the result of data analysis, Detritus and 12 genus of Phytoplankton were found in the Polymesoda bengalensis bowel. Detritus was the most dominant natural forage found in the bivalves bowel. The frequency of its existence was 100%.   In the bowel of bivalves of <30 mm length, Detritus was the most dominant food found (49,465) followed by Synedra (8,6%). In the bowel of bivalves of 30-50 mm length, the food found was dominated by Detritus (47,77%) followed by Synedra (10%), while in the bowel of bivalves of > 50 mm length, the food found was dominated by Detritus (39,13%) follwed by Cymbella (10,43%). Based on the preference viewed from the Largest Index, the natural forage for the bivalve of < 30 mm length, Oedogonium and Detritus were considered as the main food, meanwhile, for the bivalve of > 50 mm length, Detritus was as the main food. Based on the result of data analysis, it was revealed that the main forage for Polymesoda bengalensis was Detritus and Oedogonium.

Abstract

Danau Maninjau dan Batang Antokan adalah tempat yang digunakan untuk rekreasi dan pariwisata di Kabupaten Agam. Kedua aktivitas manusia di sekitar danau atau di sungai mempengaruhi kualitas air, baik dalam fisika dan kimia, dan biologi, dan sangat mempengaruhi kehidupan kerang. Mengingat aktivitas tinggi menangkap "Pensi" Corbicula moltkiana di Danau Maninjau, perlu untuk mencoba untuk melestarikan populasi kerang dan mencari cara budidaya sehingga pemanfaatan yang terus menerus dan dapat meningkatkan perekonomianmasyarakat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui karakter morfometrik Pensi (Corbicula moltkiana Prime) di dua ekosistem yang berbeda dan faktor fisik-kimia yang mempengaruhinya. Penelitian ini telah dilakukan pada bulan Februari 2015 Danau Maninjau dan di Sungai Batang Antokan. Berdasarkan penelitian di Danau Maninjau dan di Sungai Batang Antokan ukuran cangkang seperti panjang, tinggi, lebar, panjang engsel, jumlah baris dan pertumbuhan basah berat di Batang Antokan daging pensi lebih bervariasi bila dibandingkan dengan Danau Maninjau. Namun, ukuran panjang cangkang melakukan di Batang Antokan berbeda dengan di Danau Maninjau sedangkan ukuran lebar dan berat daging basah Pensi tidak berbeda dalam dua habitat. Hubungan antara panjang berat basah daging di Danau Maninjau dan Batang Antokan di berkorelasi sangat erat dengan panjang clam shell mereka. Faktor fisika kimia air di Danau Maninjau dan Batang Antokan di masih dalam kisaran normal dan toleran di Pensi (Corbicula moltkiana Perdana) mendukung kehidupan kecuali tingkat substrat organik

Abstract

Liquid waste is the residue from a business or activity in the form of liquid that is disposed of into the environment and can reduce environmental quality. Hospital waste is not a common type of waste. Waste generated by hospitals has more complex characteristics, this is because hospital waste contains pathogenic microorganisms, toxic chemicals, and radioactivity. The purpose of this study was to find out how the description of wastewater treatment in South Solok Hospital in 2022. This type of research is descriptive with a qualitative approach, namely by explaining the wastewater treatment system of South Solok Hospital. The results of this study found that the sources of wastewater from the Solok Selatan Hospital came from various rooms including the canteen, kitchen, bathroom, nurse's room, operating room, isolation room, polyclinic, pharmacy room, midwifery and laboratory. The results of the liquid waste laboratory test from the Solok Selatan Hospital have met the quality standard value of liquid waste.

Abstract

Latar Belakang: Pestisida adalah zat kimia atau bahan lainnya yang dipakai untuk mematikan hama. Masuknya pestisida ke dalam tubuh dapat menyebabkan dampak serius bagi kesehatan manusia baik pada orang yang kontak dengan pestisida maupun orang yang berada pada lingkungan di mana pestisida sedang digunakan. Untuk mengatasi hal diatas, diperlukan upaya peningkatan kesehatan masyarakat melalui edukasi kesehatan. Metode: Kegiatan pengabdian dilakukan di daerah pertanian Nagari Alahan Panjang Kecamatan Lembah Gumati Kabupaten Solok Pada bulan Maret s/d April 2023 terhadap 33 orang Petani. Metode yang akan digunakan dalam pelaksanaan kegiatan ini adalah ceramah atau penyuluhan, diskusi, praktek langsung dan evaluasi dengan materi praktik penggunaan pstisida yang aman dan sehat. Utuk melihat perbedaan skor petani sebelum dan sesudah kegiatan intervensi menggunakan Uji Paired Sample t-Test. Hasil: Berdasarkan Uji Paired Sample t-Test dapat dilihat bahwa nilai p < 0,05 yang berarti ada perbedaan bermakna antara praktik sebelum dan sesudah dilakukan intervensi edukasi pada petani.

Abstract

Success requires highly qualified teachers who use their skills and assessment tools to diagnose learner needs, and then design targeted instruction with available resources. Only in this way can the integration of ChatGPT in blended learning be transformational, when teaching does not reflect traditional practices but is a series of dynamic experiences in the hands of students. Where the research aims to examine the Integration of ChatGPT in Blended Learning: A Systematic Literature Review. The review was conducted based on state-of-the-art methods using the preferred reporting items for reviews and meta-analyses (PRISMA) guidelines. The results of this research explain that there are 4 types of characteristics of Blended Learning, namely Combining Various Delivery Methods, Combining Direct Teaching, and Combining Effective Teaching Methods and Learning Styles, Teachers and Parents Have the Same Role. Some of the benefits of Blended Learning are More Flexible, Effective Learning Results, Increasing Student Interaction and Involvement, Able to Increase Learning Satisfaction, Student Participation Becomes More Active, and costs and Time. Categories of Use of Technology (ChatGPT) in Blended Learning are Managed learning, regulated learning, collaborative learning, and authentic learning

Abstract

ABSTRACTRusunawa Purus, Padang City is one of the buildings that is prone to earthquakes and tsunamis because of its location close to the coast, increasing the vulnerability of the flats to the threat of earthquakes and tsunamis. The aim of the research is to determine the frequency distribution of the level of preparedness of Purus flat residents in facing the earthquake and tsunami disaster in Padang City. The design of this research is descriptive research, using primary data in the form of a preparedness parameter questionnaire from LIPI, namely knowledge, emergency response plans, early warning systems, and resource mobilization. The sampling technique uses a non-probability technique using accident sampling. The results of this research show that most residents' knowledge is in the sufficient category (52.5%), the emergency response plan is in the insufficient category (55.0%), the early warning system is in the insufficient category (37.5%), and resource mobilization is in the insufficient category ( 35.0%). It is hoped that these residents will be given education about the earthquake and tsunami disaster, prepare first aid kits, important telephone addresses, optimize tsunami warnings both traditional/local and national, hold regular simulations, and provide funding after a disaster occurs.Key words: emergency response, early warning system

Abstract

The current state of the world is one where technology significantly negatively impacts everyday life. Objective, this research aims to explain to students the moral principles that must be upheld in their work utilizing the efficiency of Chatbot/ChatGPT technology. The analytical methods used include literature review analysis. The research results show that educators' approaches must be clear and concise. moral knowledge obtained through transformation and creation of an academically oriented culture that is in line with the law and the rules that are strictly followed are based on ethical principles and academic ethics. Moreover, although simple, it was obtained with ChatGPT. However, socially, emotionally, and psychologically, children cannot change. As far as possible, this is due to silent and professional interpersonal interactions, and communications between students and Educators cannot be obtained through ChatGPT media technology.
