Abstract

The development of innovative health technology continues to be needed by health workers, including nurses in hospitals. Nurses need to adapt and are required to be able to utilize various technological innovations that currently exist. However, the demand for quality services in maintaining patient safety through the use of technology is still a problem that affects the achievement of nurses' job satisfaction. This study aims to describe nurses' job satisfaction regarding the use of health technology. This research is a descriptive study with a cross-sectional design involving 172 hospital nurses. The sample was selected using a purposive sampling method, and data collection was carried out through a questionnaire. Of the nurses in the sample, 33.1% were between 26 and 31 years old, while 90.1% were female. In addition, based on educational background, the majority of nurses (54.1%) had a nursing diploma, and 23.8% had a professional nursing degree. Maximum work experience caring for patients is more than 10 years. The results of this study showed that 40.1% of nurses felt satisfied with the use of health technology, while 59.9% felt dissatisfied. A significant relationship was found between education level, work position, and nurse satisfaction (p <0.05). The recommendation of this study is that the manager's role should include supporting, motivating, and providing self-awareness to nurses regarding technology in order to save time, make communication more effective, facilitate nursing care, and improve patient safety. Managers must also be tasked with implementing technological innovations that are easy to use.

Abstract

The lack of knowledge, attitudes, and actions among children regarding dental and oral health care is due to the lack of health education. One way to improve this is through education using videos and mentoring. Most adolescents in Gentan Village have dental and oral health problems, with the target of dental and oral health in adolescents only reaching 70%, indicating relatively low dental and oral health levels. This service aims to provide education through audiovisual media and mentoring to adolescents about dental and oral health care, increase knowledge, and provide an understanding of the parts of the teeth, as well as how to properly brush teeth, including brushing the front, sides, chewing surfaces, deep parts, and tongue. This community service is carried out by providing health education using audiovisual media and mentoring. Through this activity, it is hoped that adolescents will become more aware of the importance of maintaining dental and oral hygiene and can properly perform the correct brushing technique to prevent dental caries and toothaches. At the end of the service, there was an increase in understanding and a change in attitudes from negative to positive in preventing dental caries. The results of this activity showed an increase in knowledge and a positive attitude toward dental and oral care. Therefore, this education and mentoring are important to increase children's awareness of the importance of brushing their teeth for better health.

Abstract

Abstract

The transmission of Covid-19 transmission is very fast and causes many medical personnel to die including dentists so that many dentists refuse to take action on patients who have not been vaccinated against Covid-19 and close their independent practice places so that this actually puts dentists in a position as bearers of various obligations by a series of sanctions if dentists do not carry out health services properly and are only concerned with themselves. The purpose of this study is to explain the regulations governing legal protection for independent practice dentists who refuse action on patients who are not vaccinated against Covid-19, explain the efforts of professional organizations and the Cirebon Regency government in preparing regulations to protect independent practice dentists who refuse action on patients who are not vaccinated against Covid-19 and formulate the concept of an ideal regulatory arrangement in protecting independent practice dentists who refuse to take action on patients who are not vaccinated against Covid-19. The research method used is an empirical juridical approach with secondary and primary data collection. The results of further research were analyzed qualitatively. The results of the study show that in fact dentists who refuse to provide treatment to patients who are not vaccinated against Covid-19 are a right that must be fulfilled by statutory regulations. No efforts have been made by Professional Organizations and Regional Governments in preparing regulations to protect independent practicing dentists who refuse to take action on patients who are not vaccinated against Covid-19, and the principle is only to comply with existing regulations from the Central Government. The ideal regulatory concept is behavior that starts with the community itself, because law is a social engineering formed by the community itself. Thus, the whole society and also the state can be subject to the same legal system, namely the balance between positive law and also the concept of living law.

Abstract

WhatsApp is one of the most widely used messaging platforms, offering fast and simple communication. Among its active users are students from Islamic boarding schools (santri), including those involved in micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs). However, despite its convenience, many users lack awareness regarding digital safety and privacy, exposing them to cyber risks such as phishing, scams, and identity theft. In Nusukan, Surakarta, this issue is particularly relevant for santri who rely on WhatsApp for both academic and business communication. This community service initiative was conducted at Al-Mukminun Islamic Boarding School in Nusukan, Surakarta, with the aim of increasing awareness and understanding of safe WhatsApp usage among MSME santri. The program consisted of counseling sessions, which included lectures and interactive discussions tailored to the participants’ needs. Key topics included how to adjust privacy settings, identify suspicious links and messages, protect personal data, and recognize common cyber threats. Participants responded positively to the training. Feedback showed that 80% of them reported they would avoid clicking unknown links in messages. Another 80% stated they would refrain from sharing personal information with strangers. Furthermore, 80% expressed their commitment to regularly updating the WhatsApp application to ensure optimal security features are in place. This program successfully raised awareness and empowered santri with essential knowledge about digital communication safety. It highlights the importance of integrating communication psychology and practical digital literacy into community education to support secure online behavior for young entrepreneurs. Overall, this training shows that a contextual and applicable communication psychology approach is very effective in forming positive digital awareness and behavior in religious-based communities such as MSME students.
