Abstract

Orchid is a type of floriculture plant that attracts attention due to its high economic value compared to other horticultural products. However, this potential has not been matched by government attention to the floriculture subsector, which focuses on food crop commodities. Therefore, the Agriculture Office of Jombang Regency is attempting to fulfill its role in implementing policies that support local agriculture through the Orchid Commodity Association, which assists orchid farmers and is expected to increase the overall business potential. This research aims to (1) map the canvas business model that is being run by the Orchid Commodity Association of Jombang Regency, (2) identify the internal and external environment, strengths, weaknesses, threats, and opportunities of the orchid floriculture business in Jombang Regency, (3) determine the feasibility of orchid floriculture farming in Jombang Regency, and (4) compile an ideal design of orchid floriculture business in Jombang Regency. This research employed a qualitative methodology with narrative data presentation and analysis. Jombang Regency was selected as the research location because it has a farmer organization under the Orchid Commodity Association engaged in the orchid floriculture business. Data were gathered through interviews, field observation, and documentation. Data analysis employed qualitative analysis, business model canvas analysis, SWOT analysis, cost, revenue, and income analysis, and business model canvas analysis. The results of this study are as follows: (1) The nine elements in the Canvas Business Model regarding the business of the Jombang Regency orchid commodity association were obtained through in-depth interviews with internal respondents from the management and members. These elements provide an explanation and description of the business model being run; (2) The key success factors in determining the SWOT strategy are as follows: The factors that determine the SWOT strategy include the following: Having experts in cultivation and tissue culture is a strength, The limited area of greenhouse land is a weakness, Joint ventures with professional legal entities and partner plasma farmers are opportunities, The limited area of land to establish greenhouses is a threat. The optimal strategy is one that is both aggressive and expansionary. The Orchid Commodity Association of Jombang Regency has identified several strengths that can be leveraged to capitalize on existing opportunities and overcome challenges in the orchid business; (3) A revenue analysis of Dendrobium orchid farming, from seedling enlargement to adult flowering, indicates that revenue (R) is greater than cost (C). This condition is referred to as profit (R > C). The analysis of business efficiency yielded a ratio of revenue to cost (R/C) of 3.012. This ratio is greater than 1, indicating that the farm is profitable and efficient. This suggests that orchid farming in Jombang Regency is a viable enterprise; (4) The objective of redesigning the Business Model Canvas is to describe the optimal business development model, which is achieved by maximizing strengths, utilizing opportunities, and reducing weaknesses and threats, in accordance with the results of the SWOT analysis conducted previously. Abstract

Kecamatan Papar Kabupaten Kediri menjadi salah satu kecamatan yang telah menerapkan aktivitas usahatani semi organik dan anorganik. Perbedaaan besaran produktivitas pada usahatani padi semi organik dan anorganik menunjukkan bahwa adanya penambahan bahan organik kedalam aktivitas usahatani memberikan hasil yang positif. Namun, pergeseran aktivitas usahatani dari anorganik menuju semi organik belum banyak dilakukan oleh petani setempat. Analisis risiko produksi perlu dilakukan untuk mengetahui perbedaan variasi produktivitas yang dihasilkan dari usahatani padi semi organik dan anorganik. Hasil analisis menunjukkan rentang batas bawah dan batas atas produktivitas usahatani semi organik lebih besar yang menunjukkan potensi risiko yang lebih besar. Keragaman yang besar memiliki peluang risiko yang lebih besar pula. Hasil perhitungan ragam dan standar deviasi memperlihatkan bahwa usahatani padi semiorganik di Kecamatan Papar Kabupaten Kediri memiliki tingkat keragaman yang lebih besar dibandingkan usahatani padi anorganik. Walaupun demikian, nilai koefisien variasi dari usahatani padi semiorganik maupun anorganik kurang dari batas risiko sehingga dinyatakan petani terhindar dari risiko

Abstract

Work discipline is the willingness and awareness of employees to obey and comply with the regulations and norms that apply within the company. The aim of this research is to analyze employee work discipline at PT. Brunsia Samudra Tuluanggung. The research method is qualitative. The location of the research was at PT. Brunsia Samudra is domiciled in Kalipakis Hamlet, RT. 001 RW. 002 Pucung Lor Village, Ngantru District, Tulungagung Regency, research time was January - February 2025, data collection in this study used primary data, namely interviews, documentation, observation and secondary data, namely data taken from PT. Brunsia Samudra. There were 7 informants in this study, namely commissioners, operators, administration and verifiers, administration, operator assistants, data analysis using qualitative analysis. The results of this research are the discipline aspect. This research states that the level of employee discipline in the attendance aspect is quite good, although there are obstacles because some employees are still in college, this can be overcome by arranging work schedules so that employee tasks can be completed efficiently. OK, then the employee's punctuality is quite good, although the problem is that some employees are quite far between where they live and the office. This can be overcome by coaching and giving rewards to disciplined employees.

Abstract

Kegiatan pemberdayaan petani kopi di Desa Jabung, Kecamatan Panekan, Kabupaten Magetan sebagai respon atas rendahnya produktivitas, lemahnya manajemen usaha, dan minimnya teknologi pascapanen pada petani kopi lokal. Mitra kegiatan terdiri dari UKM Java Lawu, 19 petani kopi, dan Karang Taruna desa. Program ini bertujuan meningkatkan kapasitas petani sebagai supplier kopi melalui pelatihan Good Agricultural Practices (GAP), teknik sambung pucuk, manajemen hama, penggunaan mesin sortasi, dan pencatatan keuangan. Tim pelaksana menggunakan metode rancang bangun teknologi, pelatihan, dan pendampingan partisipatif berbasis komunitas. Evaluasi menunjukkan peningkatan pengetahuan mitra pada setiap tahapan, dengan rerata peningkatan skor post- test sebesar 38–45% dibandingkan pre- test. Karang Taruna berhasil menjalankan operasional mesin sortasi dan sebagian petani mulai menggunakan pencatatan digital sederhana. Program ini menunjukkan bahwa pendekatan kolaboratif dan kontekstual mampu memperkuat keberdayaan petani sebagai pelaku agribisnis kopi. Kegiatan ini memberikan dasar kuat bagi pengembangan sistem pertanian berkelanjutan dan berbasis komunitas di wilayah perdesaan.

Abstract

Kopi merupakan salah satu komoditas unggulan dengan kontribusi penting bagi perekonomian masyarakat di lereng Gunung Wilis, Kabupaten Kediri. Namun, tahap pascapanen, khususnya pada proses penyangraian, masih menghadapi sejumlah kendala. Sebagian besar petani menggunakan mesin roasting berkapasitas besar yang tidak sesuai dengan volume produksi, sehingga menimbulkan inefisiensi energi, ketidakstabilan mutu hasil sangrai, serta tingginya biaya operasional. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan meningkatkan kapasitas petani kopi melalui penerapan mesin roasting kapasitas kecil yang lebih sesuai kebutuhan, disertai edukasi manajemen usaha berbasis literasi keuangan sederhana. Metode pelaksanaan meliputi sosialisasi, pelatihan partisipatif, pendampingan teknis, serta evaluasi menggunakan instrumen pre-test dan post-test. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan kompetensi teknis roasting dengan rata-rata skor naik dari 53,1 menjadi 81,4, serta peningkatan kemampuan manajerial dari 48,6 menjadi 79,3. Dari sisi ekonomi, terjadi kenaikan pendapatan petani; Gapoktan Subur Makmur meningkat dari Rp27,6 juta menjadi Rp31,2 juta per musim, sedangkan Gapoktan Harapan Jaya naik dari Rp25,9 juta menjadi Rp29,1 juta. Selain itu, lebih dari 65% petani mulai menerapkan pencatatan keuangan sederhana sebagai dasar pengambilan keputusan usaha. Program ini tidak hanya memperkuat daya saing produk kopi rakyat, tetapi juga berpotensi direplikasi di kelompok tani lain sebagai strategi penguatan ekonomi berkelanjutan.

Abstract

Employee performance plays a crucial role as a benchmark for public service delivery by local governments in serving the community. Employee performance is often linked to the implementation of work discipline and is influenced by the work allowances received by civil servants. This study aims to analyze the influence of work discipline and work allowances on employee performance through work engagement at the Madiun Regency Regional Revenue Agency. This quantitative study involved 42 respondents, consisting of all civil servants at the Madiun Regency Regional Revenue Agency, selected using a saturated sampling technique. Data were collected through an online questionnaire and analyzed using SmartPLS4 software. The results of the study indicate that work discipline has a significant effect on work engagement, work benefits have a significant effect on work engagement, work discipline has a significant effect on employee performance, work benefits have a significant effect on employee performance, work engagement has a significant effect on employee performance, work discipline has a significant effect on employee performance through work engagement,  and work benefits have a significant effect on employee performance through work engagement. The results of this study indicate that work discipline and work benefits through work engagement are key factors in improving employee performance. The implication of this study is that local governments should prioritize the implementation of work discipline and the provision of work benefits that are appropriate to the workload and work performance through work engagement can improve employee performance which has an impact on improving public services carried out by the government.

Abstract

Pemanfaatan teknologi informasi dan komunikasi dalam proses pemerintahan dapat meningkatkan efisiensi, efektivitas, transparansi dan akuntabilitas penyelenggaraan pemerintahan. Pemanfaatan teknologi informasi dan komunikasi tersebut mencakup seluruh aktivitas yang saling berkaitan. Misalnya dalam pengolahan data, pengelolaan informasi serta sistem manajemen. Perkembangan teknologi informasi dengan menerapkan konektivitas internet dalam tata kelola pemerintahan diharapkan mampu mengatasi berbagai macam persoalan melalui peningkatan efisiensi, inovasi, produktivitas, perluasan jangkauan dan penghematan biaya. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian Kualitiatif, menurut Sugiyono (2018) penelitian kualitatif. Objek penelitian dalam penelitian ini adalah Badan Kepegawaian dan Sumber Daya Manusia Kabupaten Blitar, Informan sebanyak 3 orang. Lokasi penelitian dilakukan di Kabupaten Blitar. Waktu penelitian pada Bulan Januari sampai Maret Tahun 2024. Sumber data dalam penelitian ini adalah data primer dan sekunder. Data primer didapatkan dengan metode wawancara dan dokumentasi. Data sekunder merupakan data yang didapatkan oleh peneliti secara tidak langsung dan bersumber dari data yang usdah ada seperti perpustakaan yang berupa laporan penelitian terdahulu. Metode analisis data menggunakan analisis model data interaktif dimana data kualitatif diolah dengan interaktif serta berjalan dengan berkelanjutan sampai data jenuh, aktivitas analisa data terdapat 3 proses : kondensasi data, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil dalam penelitian ini adalah Badan Kepegawaian Negara telah melakukan usaha yang optimal dalam membantu mensukseskan sistem paper less, dapat dilihat dari alur mekanisme/posedure kenaikan pangkat yang jelas dan terbuka, adanya buku saku SIASN untuk lebih membantu kabupaten/kota serta telah sesuai dengan SOP Badan Kepegawaian dan Pengembangan Sumber Daya Manusia Kabupaten Blitar, Persyaratan kenaikan pangkat baik teknis maupun administrasi tidak ada perubahan sama sekali dari sebelum paper less dan sesudah paper less. Hanya saja bentuk fisiknya berbeda. Faktor penghambat pelayanan kenaikan pangkat melalui SIASN ini adalah data yang masih belum akurat, hasil dari scan data yang masih belum sempurna serta sarana dan prasarana yang masih kurang memadai. Serta SDM yang masih belum siap dengan perubahan sistem ini. Faktor pendukung pelayanan kenaikan pangkat melalui sistem SIASN ini adalah kesiapan dari para pegawai Badan Kepegawaian dan Pengembangan Sumber Daya Manusia Kabupaten Blitardengan adanya perubahan khususnya pada pelayanan kenaikan pangkat yang sekarang menjadi paper less ini, adanya motivasi dan semangat kerja

Abstract

This study aims to determine the Influence of Competence, Motivation and Compensation on the Performance of Librarians in UPT. Perpustakaan Proklamator Bung Karno. Librarian performance is the implementation of the functions required of a librarian, both deeds, achievements, and skills in completing work. Competence is the main requirement in performance, because with competence, librarians will complete their assigned work well. While motivation is a reason or drive for someone to do something. Compensation will have a positive impact on the institution. For employees, compensation can meet the needs of life. In this study, the author uses a quantitative approach. The sample took the entire population, which amounted to 56 librarians. In this study, indicators and variables of indicators and competency variables showed 3.92, for motivation showed 3.97. compensation shows 3.95 and Performance shows 3.88. The average value of the variables of competence, motivation, compensation and performance is in the medium category. To find out the relationship between variables, simple regression analysis and multiple linear regression were used. The results of the study showed that there was an influence both individually and together on the variables of Competence, motivation and compensation on the performance of UPT. Abstract

The purpose of this research is to know the of quality of work life, to know the workplace spirituality, to know the employee performance, and the effect of quality of work life and workplace spirituality to work employee performance at Nurul ‘Ula Kota Kediri Educational Institution Kediri City. The population of this study consists of all employees at the institution, totaling 40 employees, with a saturated sample of 40 employees. The research employs a quantitative method, with data collected from respondents using questionnaires. After data collection, the data was processed using SPSS and analyzed using multiple linear regression. The result indicated that the quality of work life influence employee performance, however the effect is in the opposite direction or negatively correlated, workplace spirituality has a positive influence on employee performance, quality of work life and workplace spirituality have a simultaneous influence on employee performance at Nurul ‘Ula Kota Kediri Educational Institution. However, while quality of work life has an influence on employee performance at the institution.
