Abstract

The purpose of this study is to improve student activity and the value or learning outcomes in social studies subjects at SMPI Bani Hasyim Singosari obtained when the teacher implements the Index Card Match strategy. The method used by researchers is classroom action research, whose research consists of 2 cycles, and four stages including planning, implementing, observing, and reflecting. According to the pre-cycle percentage of student activity in social studies subjects only 45% of students are active in participating in the learning process with a score that is less than KKM. After carrying out the first cycle, obtained an increase in the percentage to 68% and the average learning outcomes obtained by students are 75 in accordance with KKM standards. Then the second cycle is carried out to maximize learning outcomes in social studies subjects. This cycle began a significant increase in the percentage of student activity to 90% and students were able to reach an average value of 85, which on average has exceeded the KKM standard. Thus it can be concluded that the use of the Index Card Match can be used sustainably in order to increase the activity and student learning outcomes.Keywords: learning strategies; active learning; educational goals

Abstract

Abstrak: Tujuan dari pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah untuk menguatkan spiritual para lansia di Karang Werda kelurahan Tanjungrejo kecamatan Sukun kota Malang. Penguatan spiritual ini hadir karena tim Abdimas mengidentifikasi minimnya bimbingan spiritual bagi lansia. Selama ini para lansia lebih  banyak melakukan kegiatan yang hanya terfokus pada fisik dan keterampilan, seperti senam, kerja bakti dan pelatihan skill (keterampilan). Metode yang digunakan dalam pengabdian ini adalah metode Participatory Action Research (PAR). Adapun hasil dari pengabdian ini adalah kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat yang berupa talkshow “sehat dengan shalat” , tashih Al-Qur’an”, meditasi dzikir “cara mudah untuk sehat” dapat menguatkan spiritualitas lansia yang ditandai dengan bertambahnya pengalaman mereka terkait dengan cara beribadah dengan benar baik dari segi gerakan maupun bacaan. Proses penguatan spiritual oleh para lansia selanjutnya akan dilakukan secara mandiri dengan berbekal ilmu yang telah diperoleh selama proses pengabdian.Abstract:  The aim of this community engagement is to strengthen the spirituality of the elderly in Malang. This spiritual strengthening was presented because researchers identified the lack of spiritual guidance for the elderly. So far, the elderly are mostly doing activities that only focus on physical and skills, such as gymnastics, community service and skills training). The method used in this activity is the PAR method (Participatory Action Research). The results of this activity are community engagement activities in the form of talkshows “sehat dengan shalat”, tashih Al-Qur’an, dhikr meditation “cara mudah untuk sehat” can strengthen the spirituality of the elderly which is characterized by increasing their experience related to how to worship properly both in terms of movement and reading. The process of spiritual strengthening by the elderly will then be carried out independently with the knowledge that has been obtained during the research process.

Abstract

This study aims to explain how elementary school students carry out their thinking processes to be able to solve problems in fractional material in fifth grade students of SDN Harjokuncaran 03 Sumbermanjing wetan Malang who have studied fractions. Data is obtained through the Think-Out-Loud (TOL) method or often called Think Aloud. In the TOL method, students are expected to be able to think critically and express in solving the problems obtained. The results of the study, students' thinking processes in solving problems, were taken by giving two fractional problems to each subject, namely 2 high-ability subjects (S1.1 and S1.2), 2 moderately capable subjects (S2.1 and S.2). ) and 2 subjects with low ability (S3.1 and S.3.1). After collecting data and analyzing it, the researcher can conclude that this study describes how the thinking process of elementary school students in solving problems that refers to Polya, including: (1) students can understand the problems obtained then identify sentences in the form of statements and question sentences then they are expected to be able to perform variable assumptions; (2) able to plan and be able to make appropriate solutions relying on the assumptions of variables, symbols, equations, and mathematical models; (3) elementary school students are able to participate in planning and problem solving by means of elementary students solving equations using algebraic properties and substitution; and (4) elementary students are able to review again by matching the results obtained with what is already known. Abstract

Kurangnya partisipasi belajar siswa saat peroses pembelajaran IPS pada siswa-siswi kelas VII di MTS Ahmad Yani Jabung Kabupaten Malang.  Adanya problematika tersebut penelitian ini menggunakan model pembelajaran Teams Games Tournaments (TGT) karena model ini dianggap tepat dalam meningkatkan partisipasi belajar siswa-siswi kelas VII pada pembelajaran IPS yang dapat membantu dalam membangun karakter sosial siswa seperti berpikir kritis, kecakapan berkomunikasi, berkolaborasi serta mendorong minat belajar dan partisipasi belajar siswa. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) yang dilaksanakan di MTS Ahmad Yani Jabung Kabupaten Malang dalam 3 siklus. Setiap siklus dilaksanakan selama 2 kali pertemuan, subjek dari penelitian ini adalah siswa-siswi kelas VII A sebanyak 27 orang siswa. Data hasil penelitian diperoleh dari hasil wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk (1) Mendeskripsikan dan menganalisis implementasi model Teams Games Tournaments (TGT) untuk pembelajaran IPS. (2) Mengetahui bagaimana partisipasi belajar siswa dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran Teams Games Tournaments (TGT). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan model Teams Games Tournaments (TGT) dapat meningkatkan partisipasi belajar siswa di MTs Ahmad Yani Jabung Kabupaten Malang.

Abstract

Apart from Coronavirus Disease 2019, Indonesia is now also affected by the mutation of the corona virus B.1.1.7. This means that Indonesia will still struggle to overcome this condition so that it can be stable in all fields. Education, one of which is at the tertiary level, must continue to run stably. To strengthen learning is carried out remotely by utilizing platforms, one of which is using Google Classroom and Google Meet in learning Islamic Cultural History (SPI) to prevent transmission of the Covid 19 virus. This study uses a qualitative method. Through a survey via Google Form which is distributed to students majoring in Physics who are active in the 2020/2021 teaching. The result is that 90.1% of students are motivated to attend lectures because they do not require a lot of quotas, and the features used on the platform are very easy to operate and very attractive.

Abstract

Abstrak: Keberhasilan dari mahasiswa pendidikan guru madrasah ibtidaiyah dapat dilihat dari kemampuan yang dimiliki oleh mahasiswa. Kemampuan dalam hal ini adalah ketrampilan atau skiil yang dimiliki oleh mahasiswa dari salah satu unsur yang terpenting yaitu melalui proses pembelajaran dalam perkuliahan. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengeksplorasi kemamapuan soft skill yang dimiliki oleh mahasiswa sehingga dapat menyempurnakan kemampuan hard skill yang dimiliki oleh mahasiswa. Metode kualitatif serta teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara, kemudian dokumentasi. Untuk menyempurnakan data yang dibutuhkan penelitian ini juga menggunakan survei yang dilakukan secara online melalui Google Form. Tercatat sebanyak 207 mahasiswa yang telah berperan menjadi responden penelitian ini. Berlangsung mulai 27 September sampai dengan 1 Oktober 2021. Pengembangan soft skill melalui pembelajaran dapat dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode dan strategi diantaranya Cooperative Learning, Collaborative Learning, Contextual Instruction, Project Based Learning, dan Problem Based Learning mampu dikembangkan diperkuliahan dengan memiliki banyak ide dalam menyelesaikan permasalahan, mampu menstimulus kreativitas dan inovasi, menumbuhkan kualitas dalam proses pengambilan keputusan bentuk dari keberhasilan pengembangan soft skill mahasiswa sehingga menghasilkan mahasiswa yang memiliki kemampuan berkomunikasi, jujur, mampu bekerjasama, dan memiliki etos kerja yang baik.Abstract: The success of students' learning can be seen from the abilities possessed by them. Those are the skills possessed, obtained from one of the most important elements, namely the learning process. This study aims to explore the soft skills possessed by the students so that they can improve the hard skills. A qualitative research method was used and data collection techniques comprised observation, interviews, and documentation. This research also used a survey technique to enrich the data, conducted online via a Google Form. As many as 207 students were involved as the research participants. The research was taken place from September 27 to October 1 2021. Soft skills development through learning could be done using methods and strategies, including Cooperative Learning, Collaborative Learning, Contextual Instruction, Project-Based Learning, and Problem-Based Learning. Its implementation could be developed by combining many ideas in solving problems so that the students are able to enhance creativity and innovation and foster their quality in the decision-making process. The successful students’ soft skills development also reinforces the ability to communicate, be honest, be able to work together, and have a good working ethics

Abstract

Pandemi yang dihadapi di seluruh dunia yaitu pandemi Coronavirus Disease 2019 (Covid-19) mengakibatkan pemerintah menerapkan pembatasan aktivitas diluar rumah melalui kebijakan social distancing. Penerapan tersebut dianggap pemerintah kurang efektif sehingga pemerintah memperbaharui aturan dengan pembatasan sosial berskala besar (PSBB). Aturan ini yang menjadikan seluruh aktivitas harus terhenti, sehingga menurunnya per­ekonomian Indonesia salah satunya di daerah Kabupaten Malang Desa Sumbersekar. UIN Mengabdi 2020 Qaryah Thayyibah memiliki ide kreatif untuk mendongkrak perekonomian di Sumbersekar, Dau, Kabupaten Malang, serta membentuk usaha kecil frozen food yang berpusat di Sumbersekar. Metode yang digunakan adalah Participatory Action Research (PAR) sehingga kegiatan sosial yang telah dilaksanakan akan mampu mempengaruhi perubahan sosial. Masyarakat pada saat ini membutuhkan spirit yang dapat menguatkan mental salah satunya dengan dilaksanakan pelatihan yang dapat membangun semangat untuk bangkit melakoni usaha yang menghasilkan pendapatan. Salah satu caranya adalah melaksanakan pelatihan memasak untuk wirausaha dengan mengolah adonan yang sesungguhnya keterampilan dasar ini sudah dimiliki masyarakat kemudian diasah dan mampu menghasilkan makanan yang memiliki cita rasa yang lezat dan bergizi dengan teknik yang tepat. Kegiatan pelatihan meningkatkan keuletan dari masyarakat dan percaya diri sehingga mampu bersaing dipasar industri frozen food.

Abstract

Penilitian ini dilakukan untuk mendeskripsikan ketrkaitan antara metode mnemonic dengan pengajaran berbasis religius dalam meningkatkan daya ingat peserta didik yang pada akhirnya memahami materi matematika dengan baik sesuai dengan tujuan yang diharapkan. Menggunakan metode kuantitatif. Hasil dari analisis data diperoleh dengan menggunakan independent sample t test menunjukkan nilai rata-rata yang dihasilkan dari tes tulis kelas kontrol sebesar 63,78, sedangkan nilai rata-rata kelas experimen sebesar 75,81. hasil statistik ini menunjukkan bahwa : 1) metode mnemonic efektif digunakan ditinjau dari hasil tes tulis mahasiswa. 2) tes soal yang berbasis religius efektif digunakan ditinjau hasil tes tulis mahasiswa. (3) metode mnemonic lebih efektif digunakan dengan pengajaran berbasis religius dibandingkan dengan metode biasanya ditinjau dari tes tulis mahasiswa. Kesimpulan dalam penelitian ini adalah pengajaran matematika berbasis religius dengan menggunakan metode mnemonic dapat meningkatkan daya ingat dan pemahaman mahasiswa serta secara tidak langsung dapat membentuk karakter religius. Abstract

Increasing the quality of teachers in preparing literacy and numeracy questions through technical guidance activities on numeracy literacy so that they are able to support the implementation of the curriculum according to the standards set by the government. Changes in the curriculum in Indonesia encourage teachers to always be able to develop their abilities in terms of preparing valid questions so that it has an impact on the appropriateness of the assessments prepared by teachers. The government's socialization is still uneven due to the pandemic, so the team has mobilized to serve UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang to participate in socializing the material at MIS Almaarif 09 Randuagung Singosari and MI Ar Raudhah Lawang. The method used is Participatory Action Research (PAR). The theory used in this service, namely Maslow's theory, results in an increase in teacher quality, especially the ability to understand numeracy literacy material and develop valid numeracy literacy questions. Technical guidance activities are carried out in 4 stages, namely observation, providing material, then practical activities and evaluation. The resulting teacher response was 31.3%, the result was strongly agree, which showed a positive response, then 62% of them responded in agreement, so the percentage certainly shows the success of the implementation of technical guidance which can be seen from the way the teacher prepares numeracy literacy questions in accordance with the characteristics standardized by the government in the new curriculum.

Abstract

This service assistance is a classroom observation study conducted in Petungsewu Village, especially in the educational context. The focus of the research is the use of audio-visual learning facilities, where material is delivered via video. The equipment used involves a projector and sound system provided by the school, aimed at ensuring that learning can take place optimally and conducively. The research results show that students show higher interest in audio-visual media in this lesson. This is because audio-visual media is in line with the tendencies of today's children who like to play games on gadgets. Students have a tendency to like learning that is not monotonous and is equipped with interesting games. The existence of children's films also has a positive influence on this learning, because it suits their dominant interests. With practice and interesting game interludes, students also understand the learning material more easily.
