Abstract

This study examines the role of traditional stakeholders in group decision-making, with a phenomenological study of the community in Sungai Batang Village, Agam Regency, West Sumatra. The formulation of the problem in this study is, how is the role of traditional stakeholders in group decision making (phenomenology of the community in Sungai Batang Village, Agam Regency, West Sumatra). The purpose of this study was to determine the role of traditional stakeholders in group decision making (phenomenology in the community in Sungai Batang Village, Agam Regency, West Sumatra. The method in this study was qualitative phenomenology, the object of research was the community in Sungai Batang Village, Tanjung Raya District, Religious District. , West Sumatra. The validity of the data used triangulation of sources and researchers, by comparing and rechecking the results of interviews that researchers conducted with sources. Research results in this study include: (1) Decision making in the community in Sungai Batang has a series of alternatives that are decided rationally or with common sense by customary stakeholders; (2) In the process of making customary decisions in Sungai Batang, this process goes through stages that are not immediately decided, but require a series of communication with customary stakeholders.

Abstract

This research has a problem formulation about, How is the communication skillstraining by IBM Bekasi students in the Covid 19 period, in the perspective of theAction Assembly theory (Phenomenology Study on Youth Organization). In theperspective of assembly action theory. This research uses a qualitative approach.Likewise, the research methods are both qualitative in nature. Data collection isobtained through observation and in-depth interviews with key informants, whileinformant data is obtained through literature study from sources such as photodocumentation, printed media, journals, and others. The results of the study, infactual conditions, phenomenology regarding training designed by IBM Bekasistudents has been processing assertion messages, by (1) students describing theexisting conditions as they are, (2) expressing the intent and purpose of workingtogether with youth organizations to empower youth with communication skillstraining. (3) expressed a desire for an appropriate and beneficial training time forKarang Taruna, IBM Bekasi Students, and the local community.

Abstract

This research is based on available data, the number of graduates who are able to work has not been fulfilled, due to the lack of self-concept ability. The formulation of the problem is how much influence pre-employment seminars have in developing self-concept (a case study on youth groups in Muktiwari village, Cibitung)?, with the aim of the study being to find out how much influence pre-employment seminars have in developing self-concept (case studies on coral reefs). cadets in Muktiwari Village, Cibitung). The research method used was a quantitative correlation, with a population of 30, data collection through questionnaires with sampling technique, simple random sampling, with a total sample of 16 people. The result of this research is that there is a significant effect between pre-employment seminars and self-concept development. It is recommended for researchers who have an interest in similar research, by increasing the number of respondents and the coverage area, thus enriching the data in the study. And the results of the data found that the dimensions of self-concept development factors are not all self-concepts developed from educational backgrounds, but interactions from families, especially parents, have a significant influence on self-concept development.

Abstract

The research that is backgrounded on the use of social media as a communication tool for overseas people from West Sumatra, the Gucy Dt Marajo Kilangan Tribe has a problem formulation of How Social Media as a means of communication for overseas communities (Descriptive Study of the Use of WhatsApp Groups in the Dt Marajo Kilangan Urn Tribe). The purpose of this study was to find out how social media as a means of communication for overseas communities (descriptive study of the use of Whatsapp Groups in the Datuk Marajo Kilangan Urn Tribe) A descriptive research method with this qualitative approach, data collection was carried out by conducting interviews with 4 key informants and making direct observations on the object of study. Data analysis or processing is an effort to search and compile observation records, in-depth interviews, and documentary studies systematically. The object of study is the gucy tribe Dt Marajo who are members of the Whatsapp Group. The validity of the data is carried out by triangulation of source data, as well as observation. This research uses the theory of Coordinate Management of Meaning, as well as the concept of using social media.

Abstract

PT. Omron Manufacturing of Indonesia has performed a set of communication strategies to implement gender mainstreaming policies. The present study aims to analyze the implementation and constraints in the process of implementing the aforementioned policy. The present research applies a descriptive qualitative approach by conducting an in-depth analysis toward the effectiveness of communication strategies that have been used to implement gender mainstreaming policies. Furthermore, the present study uses a Miles and Huberman model to examine the communication strategies used by PT. Omron Manufacturing of Indonesia to perform gender mainstreaming policies. The results of the present study suggest the effectiveness of the intermediary and liaison between the management and employees. It can be said that the approaches taken by PT. Omron Manufacturing of Indonesia has been successful in carrying out the gender mainstreaming policies.

Abstract

Abstract The communication between parents and their childern can be affected to their behavior, especially to the childern in the youth age. Verbal communication between parents and their childern often do not achieve the desired goal, and one of the verbal communication used is satire. Satire is a figurative language style that does not show its true meaning. This study focuses on parental communication of satire that affects changes in children's behavior. This research uses quantitative methods, which is 54,2% respondent are women 45,8% are men, respondents are young man at age 19-24 th, in Taman Alamanda Block F. A total of 59 samples were used from the results of calculations through the method probability sampling, with technique simple random sampling. Measuring instrumet were used is Statistical Program for Social Science(SPSS) ver 25 with a reliability 0,85., such as the results of the determination test which showed that 18,8% verbal communication of parental satire has influence on children, as well as the results of hypothesis testing stating that thitung>ttabel, (3,628 > 2,002) which is Ho rejected, H1 accepted and the results of the significance test of 0.001 is smaller than the value of alpha (a) 0.05, which means that there is an influence of verbal communication in satire on behavior change over. Abstract

Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) are the most common type of business, especially in Indonesia. Many business sectors are the same, so there are many competitors. The clothing store Galeri Wirda Pondok Ungu Bekasi, as an MSME in the clothing sector, for example, with many of the same and similar businesses, requires a marketing strategy. The role of Integrated Marketing Communication (IMC) as a marketing strategy in providing clear information to consumers with various marketing media helps businesses survive and increase their sales. By using the analysis of IMC theory, this study aims to determine the role of IMC as a marketing strategy for a business. This study uses qualitative methods with a post positivism paradigm, collecting data using observation techniques, literature studies, documentation, and in-depth interviews. The research results show that the application of Integrated Marketing Communication helps business actors develop their businesses. Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of customer service quality on customer loyalty. The data collection method used is a questionnaire. The population in this study is customers of Toko Nibras House Bekasi who have customer membership status (membership) and have made product purchases in 2022. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling with a sample of 64 respondents. The data analysis methods used are validity tests, reliability tests, normality tests, linearity tests, simple linear regression analysis, and partial significance tests (T) using the SPSS 26 application. The results of this study showed that t-count > t-table (8.510 > 1.669). From the results of the t test, a significance value is also obtained smaller than 5% or 0.05 (0.000 < 0.05) so that it can be concluded that the quality of customer service has a positive and significant effect on customer loyalty at Nibras House Bekasi Store. Abstract

The problem of low reading culture is one of the important issues in understanding the low level of literacy of Indonesian people. In addition to the low interest in reading, students' interest in visiting the library is still low. This can occur due to lack of reading material, then the available reading material does not vary so that it causes students to be lazy to read. So it is necessary to get used to the culture of reading in order to increase interest starting among early childhood. The partner of this activity is the Study Group in the South Tambun area. In the implementation there are five cycles of stages ranging from observation, counseling, training, mentoring and evaluation. The results of this activity all cycles involve an active role between the team and partners in developing the reading room corner. The enthusiasm for the existing reading room corner was welcomed with pleasure from teachers, students who felt facilitated and the realization of the reading room corner and the general public in the environment around the partner location.

Abstract

Background: Infancy is a golden period for the growth and development of children. At this time the development of language skills, creativity, social awareness, emotional, moral development and is the basis for subsequent development. Sleep is a form of adaptation of babies to their environment. According to data from the World Health Organization (WHO) in 2018 cited in the journal Pedistrics, around 40% of babies experience sleep problems. One of the non-pharmacological efforts to overcome the baby's sleep problem is baby massage, the effect that occurs on the baby's body becomes calm, comfortable and reduces the frequency of crying. Objective: This study aims to determine the effect of infant massage on the sleep quality of infants aged 3-10 months at the midwife clinic Juliana Tanjung Morawa. Research Methods: This research is a quantitative study with a quasi-experimental pre-test and post-test design. The research sample consisted of 25 respondents. The sampling technique in this study was purposive sampling with an analytical test using the Wilcoxon test. Research Results: The results of this study showed that 80% of babies had good sleep quality after massage. Based on the Wilcoxon test results, the sig. = 0.010.<0.05. Conclusion: means that there is an effect of baby massage on the sleep quality of babies aged 3-10 months. So, it is expected for health workers to carry out baby massage as an essential care for baby's health.
