Abstract

The development of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) is very rapid. APJII 2020 data revealed that internet penetration in Indonesia reached 73.7% (196.7 million people) of the entire Indonesian population of 267 million people. This condition allows the dissemination of information so quickly and easily, whether it is positive and useful information or hoaxes. This also has an impact on the world of education. The sophistication of the internet is misunderstood as a learning method. As a result, plagiarism and googling exam answers have become a habit for students. Therefore, the community service team created an information literacy education program for the teacher community. This program aims to introduce the concept of information literacy, how to verify hoaxes, plagiarism and how to write articles for teaching materials. The methods used are webinars, FGDs, writing reflections, and guidance on writing articles for teaching materials. The results of the program evaluation showed an increase in the information literacy skills of the participants. Articles written on teaching materials for teachers are published as an ISBN book with the title "My Class Story".

Abstract

Still low in cognitive abilities and lack of life experience causes the effects of digital media on children to always be a special concern. With the very dynamic development of technology, every day children can meet a variety of new content. In fact, the character of gadget content is indeed created so that the audience can not stop consuming. The ignorance of parents about this causes addiction to gadget consumption in children is difficult to overcome. As a reference in educating children, the teacher becomes a place to ask questions and help so that children can get away from gadgets. Therefore, it is important for teachers to understand the steps in implementing parental mediation, and the technical way of media education for children at home by parents. The community service team in collaboration with the teacher community held a parental mediation education program. Based on the results of brainstorming problems with partners, this program has the main topics of Parental Mediation, Assertive Communication, and Child Development Tasks. The methods used are webinars, FGDs, and the practice of making reflective writings on understanding the concept of parental mediation. The results of the program are teachers' understanding of the concept of parental mediation. In addition, the recap of the questionnaire shows the satisfaction of the participants in joining the program. Another outcome of this program is the intellectual property rights of the training modules made by the team. This module will be used in sustainability programs in other areas. Abstract

Setiap tahunnya, trend penggua internet di Indonesia terus mengalami peningkatan. Akan tetapi, kenaikan signifikan tidak dibarengi dengan penguasaan terhadap dampak yang ditimbulkannya; seperti belum mampunya membedakan antara informasi dan berita bohong (hoax). Hoax yang cukup tinggi merupakan informasi bohong yang memiliki irisan dengan agama. Oleh karena itu, para Pejuang Dakwah yang memiliki peran signifikan dalam mendorong pemberantasan hoax melalui dakwah. Karena pada dasarnya, Hoax sangat bertentangan dengan agama. Oleh karena itu, Telkom University bekerja sama dengan Lembaga Pendidikan Al-Bahjah (LPD) menyelenggarakan pembelajaran literasi digital dakwah untuk para pejuang dakawah. Berdasarkan hasil observasi PKM, kegiatan pembelajaran literasi digital dakwah bagi pejuang dakwah LPD Al-Bahjah dianggap bermanfaat, menambah pengetahuan, serta meningkatkan skill literasi digital dakwah para pejuang dakwah.

Abstract

The increasing penetration of the internet and digital devices significantly impacts learning in technological media. Teachers play an important role in improving their competencies through training programs supported by the government. Dompet Dhuafa's Digital Literacy Education Training for Trainers program aims to improve digital literacy among Sekolah Guru Indonesia (SGI) activists. The program includes training in copywriting, learning video creation, the concept of Society 5.0, and future internet professions. The top five participants' work was certified by the Ministry of Law and Human Rights, highlighting a novel approach as few participants developed strong comprehension and critical thinking skills. This research explores the critical thinking ability of the best participants in the digital literacy program, specifically in creating learning videos that obtain intellectual property rights. The method used was phenomenology, in-depth interviews were conducted with five top participants. The findings of this study revealed three main components affecting the implementation of the program: mastery of critical thinking, lack of mastery of critical thinking, and difficulties in improving participants' critical thinking skills. These results underscore the importance of critical thinking in educational training and the challenges in developing this skill among teachers.

Abstract

In today's digital era, not many radio stations survive. Social media has become an influential communication tool for building images and relationships with audiences. PRFM (Pikiran Rakyat FM) News is a radio station that still survives today and keeps up with the times. The purpose of this research is to find out how PRFM (Pikiran Rakyat FM) News Instagram communication is planned. In an effort to understand the strategies used, this research applies a qualitative approach with descriptive methods because it allows researchers to gain in-depth insight into how PRFM News operates in conveying information to the audience. The results of this research show that PRFM follows ongoing trends. In this way, this PRFM communication strategy can maintain relevance and attract public interest in communicating every problem. PRFM also highlights the focus on message-composing techniques on Instagram. This shows awareness of the importance of effective message presentation to attract attention and retain the audience

Abstract

Internet users in Indonesia have increased in the last three years. In 2021-2022, 77.02% (more than 210 million people) of Indonesia's population are penetrated by the Internet. Unfortunately, Indonesia's digital literacy is in the moderate stage, with a score of 3.49. The level of digital literacy in Indonesia is not well distributed. People in rural areas have a lower digital literacy index than those in urban areas. Based on this situation, it can potentially produce digital literacy training. Teachers in rural areas play an essential role. They may become role models in forming a critical mindset for their students in digital media. To hold this training, we collaborate with Sekolah Guru Indonesia Dompet Dhuafa. The participants have conducted digital literacy training for teachers in their domicile before this training. They also passed some selections before joining this training. We named this event Training for Trainers Level 2. This training is part of Digital Literacy Education Program for Activists Sekolah Guru Indonesia collaborate with Dompet Dhuafa. The participants consisted of 20 teachers who represented various regions in Indonesia. The training was held online and consisted of two parts of meetings. The output of this community development program is publication in the mass media, a book of digital literacy awareness written by participants, and a Podcast's Intellectual Property Rights made by the best participants.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis implementasi strategi employer branding perusahaan PT Fliptech Lentera Inspirasi Pertiwi (Flip) dalam upaya meningkatkan daya tarik terhadap talenta-talenta berkualitas yang menjadi target perusahaan melalui berbagai media. Dengan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif, penelitian ini secara komprehensif menguraikan perjalanan yang telah ditempuh oleh Flip dalam merancang dan menjalankan strategi branding perusahaan. MSDM Flip telah memberikan perhatian khusus pada faktor kesesuaian budaya perusahaan (culture fit), serta melakukan penelitian mendalam terhadap calon talenta potensial. Konsep Employee Value Proposition (EVP) menjadi landasan dalam menggambarkan nilai-nilai inti perusahaan, seperti fairness, customer love, integrity, introspective, dan ownership. EVP digunakan untuk menarik individu yang sejalan dengan nilai-nilai ini melalui pesan komunikasi yang konsisten. Penggunaan LinkedIn sebagai media komunikasi memiliki peran vital dalam membentuk persepsi Flip sebagai tempat kerja menarik dan membangun hubungan awal dengan calon talenta. Pendekatan yang berkelanjutan menjadi pilar utama dalam pendekatan Flip, yang tercermin dalam evaluasi berkala serta penyempurnaan konsep EVP. Kesuksesan yang telah dicapai oleh Flip dalam menerapkan pendekatan terintegrasi ini mencerminkan komitmen perusahaan terhadap trend media dan konsistensi dalam strategi employer branding yang dimiliki. Penelitian ini berfokus pada analisis implementasi strategi employer branding oleh Flip, untuk membangun citra menarik di pasar tenaga kerja fintech melalui media sosial. Abstract

The research started with initial screening by filling out a questionnaire on gadgets usage for elementary students. The treatment group (n=35) enrolled in 4 online meeting sessions with seven respondents per small group. In the same research period, the control group (n=35) enrolled in only one big class session about parental mediation. After the intervention, the sample measured the level of maternal self-efficacy. Univariate statistics determined the respondent's characteristics, parental mediation of the use of gadgets in children, and the mother's self-efficacy in parental mediation before and after the program. The data were not normally distributed using the Shapiro Wilk test. Thus differences in maternal self-efficacy before and after treatment were analyzed using Wilcoxon. Simultaneously, differences in self-efficacy between the treatment group and the control group were analyzed using Mann Whitney. Digital media literacy significantly increased mothers' self-efficacy in mediating the use of gadgets by children (p <0.05)

Abstract

The design of the XSEED competition at PT XL Axiata Tbk aims to optimize corporate culture, especially in the aspects of innovation and collaboration between employees. Therefore, the XSEED competition is designed to provide a space for employees from various divisions to collaborate and develop innovative solutions together. Implemented since 2017, the evaluation results of the program implementation in 2024 show that XSEED is more successful in inviting employees to actively participate by carrying a diversity of themes that are more inclusive and utilizing digitally integrated communication media. The purpose of this research is to describe XSEED 2024 event management from the research, design, planning, coordination, and evaluation stages. This research shows that the application of organizational communication theory, organizational culture, and systematic event management can improve employee engagement and competition effectiveness. The methodology in this study uses descriptive qualitative research methods with data collection techniques through interviews, evaluation questionnaires, group discussion forums, observation, and documentation. The result showed that although the main objectives were achieved (culture of innovation, risk-taking, attention to detail, team orientation, and aggressiveness), there were still indicators of organizational culture that were not optimal, including orientation towards results, orientation towards people, and stability of conditions during the event. Researchers suggest the need for studies on the relationship between personal demand fulfillment and work motivation, as well as further studies on effective leadership communication patterns to overcome suboptimal organizational culture. Abstract

AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pemberitaan tentang konflik Palestina dan Israel pada media BBC NewsIndonesia. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode analisis isi kualitatif berdasarkan skema keberimbangan McQuail sertakerangka analisis berdasarkan Rahayu, yang meliputi source bias, slant, dan balance. Hasil penelitian menunjukanbahwa dari 38 berita yang dianalisis selama periode 7 Oktober hingga 24 November 2023, menunjukan 23 berita yangcondong ke pihak Palestina, 15 berita yang condong ke pihak Israel. Serta 27 kritikan terhadap Israel dan 7 kritikanterhadap Palestina, sedangkan terdapat 7 pujian terhadap Palestina dan tidak ada pujian terhadap Israel.Ketidakberimbangan ini mencerminkan adanya preferensi tertentu dalam mengkonstruksi dan menyajikan berita.Kesimpulannya, BBC News Indonesia tidak sepenuhnya berhasil menerapkan dan menjaga keberimbangan dalampemberitaan konflik Palestina dan Israel. Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi dengan menjelaskan dinamikakeberimbangan pemberitaan dalam konteks konflik global.Kata Kunci-BBC, keberimbangan, konflik Palestina-Israel.
