Abstract

Abstract: Research development of chemical- learning media module of practical based Problem Based Learning (PBL) was intended to produce a valid practical module acid base by aspects of content, graphics, presentations, and languange. Other than that for know respons teacher and students to learning media of practical module acid base was developed. Research development of media used ADD models haven 3 steps was Analysis, Design, and Development. Result of research development of acid base practical module based Problem Based Learning (PBL) was valids by 3 validator’s people and otherwise valid of aspect contents, languanges, presentations, and graphics with an average percentage of 88.47% (category valid). Response was rated by 18 respondens in SMAN 5 and MAN 1 Pekanbaru and declared percentage respons of 87,48% (category strongly agree). This indicates that the learning media in the form of acid-base experiment module based on Problem Based Learning (PBL) declared valid.

Abstract

Abstract: This research is aimed to produce Student Task Sheet (LKPD) based on guided inquiry on salt hydrolysis and to know the response of teachers and students on developed Student Task Sheet. The model used in this research is 4-D through 4 phases : Definition, Design, Development, and Disseminate. The disseminate is not carried out due to takes time. An Analysis of Basic Competence (KD) with indicators that had been integrated with Guided Inquiry stage for being used as reference in developing Student Task Sheet had been produced during the definition stage. The Design stage had produced task sheet that had been designed. The development stage had produced task sheet that had been validated by 3 validators, and it was tested on 2 chemistry teachers and 13 students. Product were validated and were responded based on properness of contens, presentation, language, and design. The result showd that tash sheet had been developed based on four aspects : 95,13% on contents aspect, 95,84% on properness of presentation aspect, 97,92% on properness of language aspect and 93,75% on properness of design aspect. Overall, the average percentage of the task sheet that had been developed was 95,83%. That value included in valid category.Keywords : Student Task Sheet (LKPD), Guided Inuiry, Salt Hydrolisis, 4-D

Abstract

Abstract: Research on the implementation tecnic Icebreaker has been done to know improve student’s achievement and classified to what category of student’s achievement on the subject of acid and base solution in class XI science of SMAN 9 Pekanbaru. Form of experiment research used pretest-posttest design. The sample consisted of two classes, XI IPA 2 as experiment class and XI IPA 1 as control class that randomly selected after testing normality and homogeneity. Experiment class was treated with implementing technique Icebreaker and the control class was treated without icebreaker technique. The data in this research obtained from pretest and posttest. Analysis of data used t-test. Data of research obtained tcount > ttable (3,14 > 1,67) It means that using tecnic Icebreaker can improve student’s achievement on the subject of acid and base solution in class XI Science of SMAN 9 Pekanbaru. The category improvement of student’s achievement in experiment class was high category ( N-Gain = 0,85) and in control class was medium category (N-Gain =0,69).Keyword : learning, Icebreaker, learning achievement, acid and base solution

Abstract

Abstract: Research on the application of the Think Pair Share (TPS learning model has been done to improve students learning achievement in the topics of chemical bonding in class X MIA SMAN 2 Tambang. This research is experiment based on pretest-posttest design. The sample consisted of two classes, which are X MIA 1 as experiment class and X MIA 2 as control clas that randomly selected after testing normality and homogeneity. Experiment class is a class that is treated by applying the Think Pair Share (TPS learning model. Analyzed of data used t-test. Results of the analysis it was found that tscore>ttable (2,235>1,67), it means the Think Pair Share (TPS learning model can improve students learning achievement on the chemical in class X MIA SMAN 2 Tambang with an increase of 6,7%.Key Words: Research on the application of the Think Pair Share (TPS learning model,learning achievement

Abstract

Abstract: This research aims to know the improve of students learning achievement by using Genius Learning strategy on the topic of the Structure of Atoms and the Periodic Systems of Elements in class X senior high school (SMAN) 14 Pekanbaru. This research was experimental research with pretest-postest design. The sample of this research were students of class X4 as the experimental research and students of class X3 as a control class that has been randomly selected after a test of normally and homogenity test. Experiment class is a class that is applied Genius Learning strategy while the control class was not. Data analysis technique used is t-test. Based on analysis of the data obtained tcount> ttable is 2,15>1,67, it is mean that the apllication of Genius Learning strategy can improved students learning achievement on the topic of the Structure of Atoms and the Periodic Systems of Elements in class X senior high school (SMAN) 14 Pekanbaru. The category improvement of student achievement at experiment class was high category with N-gain normalized is 0,72. Meanwhile, the category improvement of student achievement in control class was medium category with N-gain normalized is 0,54. Genius Learning strategy can activate the students in learning process to improve the students achievement in learning.Keywords : Learning Achievement, Genius learning, Structure of Atoms and Periodic Systems

Abstract

Abstract: The purposes of research are to know the improvement of student learning achievement and value of influence by implementing learning model Creative Problem Solving (CPS) on the hydrocarbon subject at the class X SMA N 14 Pekanbaru. CPS learning model includes steps problem clarify, disclosure ideas, evaluation and election ideas also implementation elected idea. This research is experimental research using Design Randomized Control Group Pretest-Posttest. The research sample consisted two class, class X 1 as experiment class and class X 7 as control class that has tested by normality test using Liliefors test and homogeneity test using equality of two average test.. Hypothesis was done by using test-t right side. Research result shown that the implementation of learning model CPS can improve student learning achievement on the hydrocarbon subject where tarithmetic = 7,71 > ttable = 2,00 with value of its influence to student learning achievement is 45,22%.Keywords : Learning Model, Creative Problem Solving (CPS), Learning Achievement, Hydrocarbon

Abstract

Abstract : Research on the application of analogy learning strategy has been applied to improve student learning achievement on the topic of colloid class XI Science of Senior High School Number 3 Pekanbaru on May 2016. The research is experimental research based on pretest-posttest design. The samples consisted student of two classes, XI Science 3 as experimental class and XI Science 2 as control class that randomly selected after testing normality and homogeneity. Analogy Learning Strategy applied in XI Science 3. Analysis of data used t-test. Results of data processing obtained tcount> ttable (4,84>1,67). It means that the application of analogy learning strategy can improve student learning achievement on the topic of colloid in class XI Science of Senior High School Number 3 Pekanbaru. The improvement category of student learning achievement at experimental class was high category with normalized N gain which 0, 71.Keywords : Analogy Learning Strategy, Learning Achievement and Colloid.

Abstract

Abstract: The results of the study indicate that the use of colloid domino card game media can improving students learning achievement in class XI SMA Negeri 1 Tapung Hulu. Forms of this research was experimental research with radomized design of control group pretest-posttest. The population of this study were all students in class XI MIA SMA Negeri 1 Tapung Hulu. After being tested for normality and homogeneity tests, it determined the sample of the study were students of class XI MIA4 as an experimental class and students of class X1 MIA3 as the control class. Technique that used to data analysis was t-test with the criteria that the data processed in normal distribution. Based on the results of data analysis test, we obtained tcount>ttable is 3.38> 1.67, it meant that use of colloid domino card game media could improved learning achievement in the class XI SMA Negeri 1 Tapung Hulu. The category improvement of student achievement at experiment class was high category with a value of N-gain 0.71 while the control class included in the medium category with a value of N-gain of 0.60.Key Words: Learning Achievement, Colloid Domino Card Game

Abstract

Abstract: The research aims to improve student learning achievement on the topic of colloid in XI science class of SMAN 14 Pekanbaru by implementation of guided inquiry learning. The research was a form of experimental research with the design Randomized Control Group Pretest-Posttest. The sample consists of two classes, class XI science 3 as an experimental class and class XI science 2 as the control class is determined randomly after normality test and homogeneity test. Experimental class was implied of guided inquiry learning while the control class didn’t imply of guided inquiry learning. Data analysis technique used is the t-test. Based on the results of data processing obtained tcount > ttable is 5,67 > 1,67 means that the implementation of guided inquiry learning can improve student learning achievement on the topic of colloid in XI science class of SMAN 14 Pekanbaru. Abstract

Abstract: The research about the GQGA (Giving Question and Getting Answer), model has been conducted in SMAN 4 Pekanbaru. The purpose of this research is to determine wheterthe application of GQGA learning can improve achievement and the influence of application of GQGA learning model in class X IPA SMAN 4 Pekanbaru on the subject improve category N-Gain, Research on the application of cooperative learning model GQGA assisted with couple card media has been done to improve student’s achievement on the subject of stoichiometry. Form of research is experiment research with pretest-posttest design. The sample consisted of two classes, X MIPA 1 class as experiment and X MIPA 3 class as control that randomly selected after testing normality and homogeneity. Experiment class was treated with implementing cooperative learning model GQGA Giving Question and Getting Answer assisted with couple card media and the control class was treated conventional method. Analysis of data used t-test. Data of research obtained tcount > ttable (7,9 > 1,67). It means that using cooperative learning model GQGA assisted with couple card media can improve student’s achievement on the subject of stoichiometry in class X of SMAN 4 Pekanbaru. The category improvement of student’s achievement in experiment class was high category (N-Gain =0,84) and in control class was medium category (N-Gain =0,69).Key Words: GQGA (Giving Question and Getting Answer) Student’s Achievement.
