Abstract

Introduction: Social Media has become an important tool in spreading health information, providing benefits for public health including for an easily accessible source of information for all. Farmers are a vulnerable group but they often ignore health problems and prefer self-diagnosis through electronic media or leave it alone. Methods: The purpose of this study was to find an overview of the trend of social media use as a source of health information by farmers in Dawuhan Lor Village. This study used quantitative descriptive method. Sampling technique used is purposive sampling with the number of respondents as many as 91 people. Data collection was carried out using personal instruments that have been adapted from Social Media Use and Computer Survey. Result: The results showed that the tendency of the use of social media as a source of information by farmers is in the medium category. This includes three indicators of the source of information sought such as treatment search, disease, and access to health services which are also in the medium category. Conclusion: Farmers use social media to search for information, interact with others, and utilize certain features, but they are not entirely dependent on social media as a source of information. Social media plays an important role as a component in "Cues to Action," influencing health decision-making processes at both individual and community levels. Information obtained through these digital platforms can significantly influence individual behavior in their efforts to promote and manage their health.

Abstract

The creation of final project works of ISI Yogyakarta Craft students inrecent years has experienced rapid development related to the source of ideasbehind it. What is commonly created is a craft work with a source of ideas in theform of concrete forms, such as living things or concrete objects around. This isof course not too constrained in the method of creation because of thetransformation of concrete ideas into the design of works in the form of visualforms, of course, there are many stages of creation methods and visualizationtheories available in the field of crafts. However, this is not the case, if the sourceof the idea of creation is a lingual form. The science of interpreting lingual ideasto be transformed into visual forms needs to be studied further because no crafttheory can accommodate this process. What is happening now is that, thecreation of Kriya's final project work has begun to penetrate wider sources ofcreation, one of which is the source of ideas in the form of literary works and songlyrics. This qualitative research tries to unravel the creation of the final project ofcraft students that is sourced from lingual ideas, to find out how the stages of itscreation, the process of transforming lingual ideas into their visual form, and findout what theory is used whether it has functioned theoretically or not. If thesequestions have been answered, it is hoped that this research will be able to designa method of creation, including stages, techniques, and theories used for thetransfer of lingual ideas to visual forms in the creation of craftworks. The Level ofTechnology Readiness (TKT) of this research is expected to be in the level 3category, namely by proving the concept of functions and/or importantcharacteristics analytically and experimentally.ABSTRAKPenciptaan karya tugas akhir mahasiswa Kriya ISI Yogyakarta beberapa tahun terakhir mengalami perkembangan pesat berkaitan dengan sumber ide yang melatarbelakanginya.

Abstract

One indicator of the effectiveness of HIV/AIDS prevention can be measured by the role of stakeholders involved in the HIV/AIDS prevention program. The obstacles are that there are still unequal perceptions of interest regarding the target group from each stakeholder in developing HIV/AIDS prevention programs and a lack of coordination between internal and external agencies, so there has been no effort to integrate programs between agencies. The purpose of this activity is to optimize the role of stakeholders in HIV AIDS prevention in Jember. This activity was carried out in stages (1) presenting material on "The Role of Stakeholders in HIV AIDS Response" and questions and answers related to the material presented, as well as (2) Focus Group Discussion (FGD) to discuss the implementation of the role of stakeholders in HIV AIDS response. The results of this activity show that stakeholders could understand the national strategy in dealing with HIV AIDS; stakeholders understood their role in HIV AIDS prevention, and stakeholder groups stated that they would help in the fight against HIV/AIDS. Definitive policy recommendations issued by local governments related to stakeholder involvement in HIV AIDS response.

Applying the principle of six correct administration of drugs by nurses is one of the preventiveimplementations of patient safety. It can guarantee the safety of treatment for patients, reduce medicationerrors, and avoid giving the wrong medication to patients in the hospital. This study aimed to explore theprinciple of six correct drug administration implementation by nurses in the hospital. A descriptive methodapproach was used. This study was conducted in two general hospitals in Jember and followed by 75 inpatientward nurses through the total sampling technique. The results of this study showed that the modus value ofthe implementation of the six-correct principles is 125, the data position is in the middle position of thedispersion, which means the implementation of the principle of six correct by nurse approaching themaximum value. The data also showed that the nurses still did not entirely implement the principle of sixcorrect in drug administration. Nurse managers can enhance the implementation of the principle of six bynurses through supervision activities. In addition, it is necessary to have an evaluation conducted by thehospital patient safety commission on the implementation of the principle of six correct drug administrationsby inpatient ward nurses

Abstract

Learning process in university must be conducted with the principle of Student Centered Learning (SCL). SCLhas several components that could influence the implementation of SCL. The purpose of this study was toidentify the implementation of SCL in Nursing Faculty of Jember University. This study used a descriptiveexploratory design with purposive sampling technique on 26 lecturers and stratified sampling techniques for 260students. The results showed that the implementation of SCL to lecturers reached 81.7% (from a maximum valueof 33) and the implementation of SCL to students reached 80.19% (from a maximum of 36). This shows theimplementation of SCL in terms of students and lecturers having a good score. The lowest score for lecturerswas the class condition (68.4%) and the lowest value for students was the teaching material (71%). Lack offacilities could have an impact on the disruption of the learning process using SCL so that students and lecturersdid not get maximum results. Institutions are expected to be able to renew their collection of books and classconditions can be further optimized by reducing the number of students to 25 students in each class.
