Abstract

Technological advances have given business people several options to develop their business. One of them is using Instagram social media as a promotional tool. However, using social media as a promotional medium has its own problems. Fake accounts spread on Instagram can reduce the reach of business accounts. Until now, there are more than millions of fake accounts. Instagram continues to increase its efforts to detect and delete these fake accounts. This study was conducted to be able to classify accounts suspected of being fake accounts on the followers of the averentcos account using the k-NN method. The data used were 500 follower accounts with various backgrounds. This study used several variables, namely Profile Photo, Username Length, Number of Name Words, Similarity of Name to Username, Bio Length, External Links, Public Accounts, Number of Posts, Number of Followers, Number of Followed so that accuracy of 86,666% can be achieved.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of using flash card media in science learning on student learning outcomes in force and motion material for class IV SD Negeri Kebonagung 2 Sidoarjo Regency. This research uses a quantitative quasi-experimental approach with a nonequivalent control group design. The subjects were all grade IV students (class IVA as control and IVB as experiment, each 28 students). Data collection techniques used observation, tests, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis used normality test, homogeneity test, t-test, and N-gain calculation. The results showed that the average pretest score of the experimental class was 76.14 and the control class was 74.71. After treatment, the average posttest of the experimental class was 84.93 while the control class was 83.00. The t-test result showed Sig. (2-tailed) of 0.000 < 0.05, indicating a significant difference. The N-gain score for the experimental class was 0.35 (35%, medium category) while the control class was 0.29 (29%, low category). It can be concluded that the use of flash card media significantly improves student learning outcomes in science subjects, especially force and motion material.

Abstract

Technological developments have transformed cultural preservation into a digital preservation effort. Cultural preservation can now be carried out through social media, including Instagram. This effort is undertaken to save culture from fading away and to facilitate the dissemination of information about culture to the wider community, particularly through the virtual world. The purpose of this study is to analyze the use of Instagram by Rumah Budaya Kratonan in its digital cultural preservation efforts. Additionally, it aims to analyze the features used and the content presented in each post. This study employs a qualitative method with a content analysis approach. Data analysis was conducted on the Instagram social media account of Rumah Budaya Kratonan. The findings reveal that Rumah Budaya Kratonan has leveraged Instagram as a technological platform to assist in the implementation of digital cultural preservation. Rumah Budaya Kratonan utilizes various features on Instagram to preserve existing cultures. In preserving various cultures, Rumah Budaya Kratonan uses Instagram features such as feed, story, reels, and live. The types of content shared through the Rumah Budaya Kratonan Instagram account are photos and videos showcasing culture or its values.
