Abstract

Representasi kehidupan manusia yang tergambar di dalam karya sastra dapat hadir dalam berbagai macam bentuk, salah satunya berkenaan dengan lingkungan. Ekokritik merupakan teori kritis dalam pendekatan mutakhir untuk mengkritik sebuah wacana yang bertema lingkungan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan: (1) ekokritik yang terkandung dalam novel Kekal karya Jalu Kancana; (2) nilai pendidikan karakter yang terkandung dalam novel Kekal karya Jalu Kancana; dan (3) relevansi novel Kekal karya Jalu Kancana sebagai bahan ajar sastra di Sekolah Menengah Atas. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dengan metode penelitian kualitatif deskriptif dan pendekatan ekokritik. Sumber data berupa dokumen dalam bentuk novel dan informan yang terdiri dari peserta didik dan guru. Subjek penelitian diambil dengan teknik purposive sampling. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan analisis dokumen dan wawancara. Uji validitas yang digunakan yaitu triangulasi sumber data dan triangulasi metode. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis model mengalir. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa: (1) tema yang diangkat dalam novel adalah lingkungan serta banyak menyoroti ekokritik antropogenik meliputi: penjamahan cagar alam, perusakan dan pembukaan hutan, perusakan lingkungan, perdagangan karbon, dan ketidakpedulian terhadap hewan liar dan habitatnya; (2) nilai pendidikan karakter yang terkandung dalam novel meliputi religius, kerja keras, mandiri, gemar membaca, peduli lingkungan, peduli sosial dan tanggung jawab; dan (3) novel Kekal relevan dijadikan materi pembelajaran jika dilihat dari keterkaitannya dengan tujuan instruksional yang harus dicapai, juga dari aspek isi, penyajian, bahasa, dan kegrafikaan. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa hasil penelitian ini dapat memberi kontribusi terhadap perkembangan ekokritik di Indonesia. Selain itu, hasil penelitian ini memberikan gambaran tentang pentingnya memberikan pendidikan karakter terhadap peserta didik, utamanya mengenai peduli lingkungan.

Abstract

This research  aims to explain: (1) social background of Pajang  novel writer; (2) the sociological background of Pajang  novel by Wawan Susetya; (3) readers' responses to Pajang's novel by Wawan Susetya; (4) the value of character education contained in Pajang's novel by Wawan Susetya; and (5) the relevance of Pajang's  novel by Wawan Susetya as a literary learning material in high school. This research uses descriptive qualitative method and using a study of sociology of literature. The result of this research is description about: (1) social background of Pajang novel writer covering aspect of race, moment (moment), and environment (milieu); (2) Sociological background of Pajang's work by Wawan Susetya includes social  group,  culture,  social  institution, stratification, and  power;  (3) readers' responses  to  Pajang's  novel by  Wawan Susetya;  (4)  the  value  of  character education contained in the Pajang  novel by Wawan Susetya include religious, tolerance, hard work, democratic, curiosity, nationalism, achievement, friendly / communicative, social, and responsibility; (5) the relevance of Pajang's  novel by Wawan Susetya as a literary learning material in Senior High School which is adapted to the content aspect, presentation aspect, language aspect, and graphictions aspect.

Abstract

The research aims to explain and describe (1) speech acts in the dialogue collection of  drama text Geng Toilet; (2) the principle of politeness in the dialogue collection of drama text Geng Toilet; (3) the relevance collection of drama text Geng Toilet as a teaching material for drama text in High School. The method use in this research is descriptive qualitative. The result of the research indicates the result of the research indicates the speech act in the collection of the drama text Geng Toilet based on speech that contains action include locution,illocution, and perlocution. While, speech acts based on the sentence mode include direct speech acts and indirect speech acts.Next, the principle of politeness in the dialogue collection of drama text Geng Toilet includes maxim of agreement or consent, maxim of generosity, maxim acceptance or praise or appreciation, maxim of humility or simplicity, and maxim of sympathy. the collection of drama text Geng Toilet can be  used  as a teaching materials for drama text in High School.

Abstract

The purposes of this research are to describe: (1) structure of novel Sirkus Pohon by Andre Hirata; (2) id, ego, and superego of the main character novel Sirkus Pohon; (3) the value of character education in the novel Sirkus Pohon; and (4) the relevance of novel Sirkus Pohon as material of learning literature in senior high school. This research was conducted by descriptive qualitative method and psychology of literature. The result show that: (1) every elements of novel have in relation to the elements of other to make a story that a solid; (2) each of the characters has the character of different so that make them have balance id, ego, and superego different also; (3) the value of education character contained in the novel covering honest, discipline, hard work, the responsibility, appreciate the achievements, creative, care social, caring environment, and friends; and (4) novel Sirkus Pohon relevant made learning materials if viewed from aspects of the contens, presenting, language, and graph.

Abstract

The aims of this research are to describe and analyze: (1) the types of speech act between students and teachers dialogue in the Indonesian language learning situation at SMA Negeri 1 Karanganyar, and (2) the influence factors of speech act between students and teachers dialogue in Indonesian language learning at SMA Negeri 1 Karanganyar. This research is belong to a qualitative desciptive research which was conducted from June 2017 to December 2018. The primary data’s source in this research is the informan such as students and Indonesian language’s teachers, and also the speech act between them at Indonesian language’s learning . This research uses purposive sampling technique. Data validity uses a source’s and theori’s triangulation, while the data analysis using an interactive model that includes data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion. Based on the results of data analysis, the speech act which often used is illocusion with 37,5 % of percentage, locusion 73 %, and perlocusion 27,5 %. The speech act’s factors between teachers and students in Indonesian learning are the participants, the aim of speech act, the situation, context, which path, media, and the event of speech act.
