Abstract

Organizing Umrah and Hajj pilgrimage trips is included in the Regular Business category where all operations must be guided by positive law comprehensively, starting from licensing of the organizers to service standards to the congregation as consumers. The implementation of the Umrah pilgrimage is regulated and supervised by the government, in this case by the Ministry of Religion of the Republic of Indonesia (KEMENAG R.I) by providing accreditation for Umrah pilgrimage organizers (PPIU). However, it is necessary to examine the extent to which PPIU accreditation is a form of positive legal compliance and consumer protection. Based on this phenomenon, the author conducted research with the title "Accreditation of Umrah Travel Organizers (PPIU) as a Form of Compliance with Positive Laws and Consumer Protection". This research uses a qualitative approach with the Normative - Empirical method. Normatively by tracing and examining positive laws relevant to the implementation of the Umrah pilgrimage and empirically by conducting a triangular study of the implementation of accreditation at PT. Cahaya Cordoba Utama as PPIU. PPIU accreditation is proven to be a form of compliance with positive law, because it fulfills all four principles of legal compliance, namely: Indoctrination, Habituation, Utility and Group Identification. Likewise, PPIU accreditation has been proven to be a form of consumer protection, because all elements in assessing standards for organizing Umrah pilgrimages fulfill all the rights contained in article four of Law no. 8 of 1999 concerning Consumer Protection, both preventive rights and repressive rights.

Abstract

Graphical Abstract   Highlight Research The author mentioned four highlights from their research: 1. GIS and AHP were integrated to assess land suitability for Pangasius aquaculture in Tulungagung Regency. 2. 59% of the region (976,885.71 ha) was identified as suitable or highly suitable for aquaculture expansion. 3. Water quality, soil conditions, and infrastructure were key factors influencing aquaculture feasibility. 4. Sustainable planning is needed to balance aquaculture expansion with existing land uses like agriculture and settlements. 5. The GIS-based model serves as a policy tool for efficient and sustainable Pangasius aquaculture development.     Abstract Tulungagung Regency in East Java Province has an export demand of 300,000-400,000 tons per year. The high demand for exports spurred the people and government of Tulungagung Regency to develop pangasius aquaculture areas. This will have a negative impact if carried out without a land suitability assessment. The study aimed to analyze the parameters of pangasius aquaculture and map the potential areas for pangasius aquaculture using AHP and GIS-based analysis. This research was conducted from January to August 2022 in Tulungagung Regency, Indonesia. Several stages were carried out, including primary data collection (water quality, soil quality, and infrastructure), secondary data collection (literature, reports, fisheries statistics data, government statistical data, and journals/articles), application of land suitability assessment, and pangasius farming area suitability analysis. Land suitability analysis consists of measuring water quality parameters (DO, temperature, TDS, pH, ammonia, and nitrate), soil quality (texture, pH, and slope), and infrastructure (roads, markets, hatcheries, and fillet factories) using the Analytical Hierarchy Process method (AHP), which includes standardization, determination of weights, and combining the weights of land suitability maps, which are then mapped by ArcGIS Software. Most of the land conditions for the pangasius aquaculture areas in Tulungagung Regency are moderately suitable, suitable, and most suitable, with percentages of 30, 21, and 28%. The area that can be developed for pangasius aquaculture is 976885.71 ha, with the most suitable category being 2619.35 ha, the appropriate category being 2235.74 ha, and the most suitable category being 4913.77 ha.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of giving papaya leaf extract on the growth of gourami fish (Osphronemus goramy). This research was carried out in May - June 2021 in Bengkulu City for 60 days. The test fish used were gourami fish measuring 6-8 cm. The method used was a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with 4 treatments, namely P1: Without papaya leaf extract (control), P2: Dose of papaya leaf extract (10%), P3: Dose of papaya leaf extract (20%), P4: Dose of extract papaya leaves (30%). Each treatment was repeated six times. The research data was analyzed using analysis of variance then continued with further tests for BNT 5% and 1%. The research results of adding papaya leaf extract to the growth of gourami fish for 60 days had a very significant effect on the parameters of absolute weight, absolute length, feed conversion and feed efficiency and had no effect on the survival of the gourami fish. The best treatment for the growth of gourami fish is an additional dose of 20% - 30% papaya leaf extract.

Abstract

Lola snails (Rochia nilotica L.) are economical marine biota that can be found in tropical coral reef areas spread across the Indo-Pacific region including Indonesia. However, over the past few decades it has been overexploited. Therefore, the purpose of this study was to determine the growth patterns and condition factors of lola snails in Bengkulu and West Nusa Tenggara waters. Data were collected in July-August 2024 in Enggano Island, Bengkulu and Pasaran Island and Kaung Island, West Nusa Tenggara using purpossive sampling method. The total number of lola snails obtained was 103 individuals with a diameter of 63.85-113.9 mm; height 67.7-113.22 mm' and weight 102-496 g. The length-weight relationship in Enggano Island, Bengkulu with a value of W = 0.000147L3.1947, Pasaran Island, NTB is W = 0.10649L 2.2378, and Kaung Island (NTB) with a value of W = 0.002221L2.6166.  The results of this study indicate that the growth pattern of lola snails on Enggano Island is a positive allometric model which means that weight growth is faster than height growth. While the growth pattern of lola snails on Pasaran Island and Kaung Island is a negative allometric model which means that height growth is faster than weight growth. The condition factor is 1.0048-1.0130, indicating that the Bengkulu and West Nusa Tenggara regions are still a suitable environment for the growth of lola snail.

Abstract

Commercial feed usually accounts for 60-70% of the total production costs in aquaculture. Therefore, feed additives are needed to support fish growth and feed efficiency to reduce production costs. This study aims to determine the effect of adding a synbiotic mixture to the feed of Sangkuriang catfish (Clarias gariepinus). This research utilized a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) consisting of 4 treatments with 4 replications, resulting in 16 experimental units. The best average absolute weight and absolute length growth of Sangkuriang catfish fingerlings were found in treatment P4 with a 25% synbiotic mixture. Observations on fish survival rates showed the best results with the inclusion of the synbiotic mixture in the feed. The highest feed efficiency was obtained in treatments P4 and P3, with an average of 0.80%, meaning that 80% of the feed was effectively utilized for daily needs. This was followed by treatment P2 at 0.78%, while the lowest efficiency was found in treatment P1 at 0.77%. The results indicated that all treatments were significantly different. Analysis showed that the lowest Feed Conversion Ratio (FCR) was obtained in P4 (25% synbiotic) and P3 (20% synbiotic), both showing an average value of 1.25%. P2 (15% synbiotic) followed with 1.29%, and P1 (10% synbiotic) with 1.30%, which remains within the standard threshold. Water quality parameters monitored during the study included temperature, pH, and dissolved oxygen
