Abstract

The INA-CBG’s (Indonesia Case Based Groups) package rate implementation for National Health Insurance Program member since 1st January 2014 suffering from stroke has forced all hospitals in Indonesia to do a quality control and efficient service cost. Stroke, one of the catastrophic diseases often accompanied with some of its comorbid factors, requires high treatment cost. Thus, a cost analysis study is needed to prevent hospital loss. This study was aimed at determining the suitability of cost between the real cost of stroke therapy and the Indonesian Case-Based Groups (INA-CBG) rate according to the Ministry of Health Decree number 69 of 2013. This study was an observational study with a cross-sectional design. Data collection was done retrospectively. Study subjects were all that hospitalized strokes of patients who were members of the National Health Insurance and also met the inclusion and exclusion criteria registered between January to June 2014. The study data were in real direct medical costs analyzed for its suitability with the INA-CBG's rate. Descriptive statistical tests and t-tests were used to analyze the data. The results showed that the average real cost of the first-class hospitalization was higher than INA-CBG's rate for cerebral infarction and for unspecified stroke, with insignificant discrepancies. The average real cost of second class hospitalization was lower than INA-CBG's rate for cerebral infarction, otherwise the average cost was higher than INA-CBG's rate for unspecified stroke, with insignificant discrepancies. The average real cost of third class hospitalization was lower than INA-CBG's rate for cerebral infarction and for unspecified stroke, with significant discrepancies. Most of the average costs were higher than the INA-CBG rate. Thus, the hospital is not capable of managing a stroke of cost-based treatment on INA-CBGs. The hospital has suffered losses. INA-CBG's rate of stroke treatment needs to be evaluated.

Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic has been on its anniversary and it is not yet seen when it will end. Vaccination and health promotion have been carried out by the government. However, it seems that it has not been able to reduce or even stop the pandemic. An alternative way that is considered effective to prevent the transmission of the Covid-19 virus is to comply with health protocols. One of the health protocols that are considered very helpful in preventing the transmission of Covid-19 is the readiness of preparing personal equipment (Starter Kits), especially when outside of the house. In this paper, will be reported an analysis of community readiness regarding their readiness to prepare a Starter kit for foreign students at Khon Kaen Universiti (KKU) and also ordinary people in the Karangtalun, Wukirsari, Imogiri, Yogyakarta area. The evaluation was carried out by asking several questions about whether when leaving the house they spare a mask, hand sanitizer, own eating utensils, drinking bottles, and also their worship tools. Questions are given online or offline using a G-form or question sheet when socializing the Covid-19 pandemic. The results of the evaluation on the readiness of bringing the starter kits from all participants, totaling 44 people, 53.57% of people answered "yes", 25 % of people answered "sometimes", and 21.43% of people answered "no". Based on these results, it can be concluded that most people are aware of the importance of preparing a starter kit while outside the house to prevent the transmission of the Covid 19 virus.

Abstract

The small salary received by pharmacists is one of the reasons for the low attendance of pharmacists in pharmacies. The regional management of the Yogyakarta Special Region of Indonesian Pharmacist Association (PD IAI DIY) has issued a Decree (SK) on Professional Service Standards for Pharmacists in DIY in 2017 so that it can be used as a reference for pharmacists in Yogyakarta who practice in pharmacies. This study aims to determine the implementation of the decree on pharmacists in DIY. Research variables are basic services, additional income and other facilities. The research instrument is a questionnaire. The sampling method used is accidental sampling. To calculate the number of samples used the Slovin formula. With a confidence level of 90%, the minimum sample size is 222 respondents. However, in this study, 268 pharmacists who practice in pharmacies finally obtained respondents. Respondents came from five districts/cities in DIY. Data were collected from August 2019 to February 2020. The research instrument used an e-questionnaire on a google form which was distributed through social media for members of IAI DIY and also distributed directly to several pharmacies in DIY. The data obtained were analyzed through descriptive statistical tests. The results showed that only 11 respondents met all the criteria in the SK. In the category of pharmacists who hold SIA, only seven respondents met all the criteria in the SK, namely three respondents from Sleman, two respondents from Yogyakarta City, and two respondents from Bantul. In the non-SIA pharmacist category, only four respondents met all the criteria in the SK, namely one respondent from Sleman, two respondents from Yogyakarta City, and one respondent from Gunung Kidul. It can be concluded that the SK PD IAI DIY regarding professional service standards has not been fully implemented by DIY pharmacists.
