Abstract

This study aims to develop contextual-based learning tools to facilitate students' mathematical problem-solving skills in the topic of Three-Dimensional Space for eighth-grade students of SMP/MTs. The developed tools include a syllabus, lesson plans, and student worksheets using the 4-D model consisting of the stages of defining, designing, developing, and disseminating. Validation results indicate that the learning tools meet the criteria of being highly valid, with an average score of 94.80% for the syllabus, 96.65% for the lesson plans, and 91.65% for the student worksheets. The validated student worksheets were tested on nine students to assess readability, resulting in an average score of 91.12%, while practicality scores were 93.30% from students and 94.13% from teachers, both categorized as highly practical. These findings demonstrate that the developed learning tools are valid, practical, and effective in facilitating students' mathematical problem-solving skills in the Three-Dimensional Space topic.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis dan mengevaluasi keterampilan teknik dasar batting pada anggota UKM cricket Universitas Jambi. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengidentifikasi tingkat kemampuan, serta untuk memberikan rekomendasi yang dapat meningkatkan kualitas latihan dan performa batting anggota UKM. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di tempat latihan mahasiswa UKM cricket Universitas Jambi pada Mei 2024. Data penelitian diperoleh melalui pengamatan dan pencatatan hasil tes keterampilan teknik dasar batting. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sebanyak 2 orang (10%) dari anggota UKM cricket Universitas Jambi memiliki keterampilan teknik dasar batting dalam kategori cukup, 10 orang (50%) dalam kategori baik, dan 8 orang (40%) dalam kategori sangat baik. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa keterampilan teknik dasar batting UKM cricket Universitas Jambi berada pada kategori baik. Untuk meningkatkan keterampilan ini, disarankan agar program latihan lebih terstruktur dan fokus, sehingga anggota UKM dapat melakukan batting dengan maksimal, kuat, dan akurat.

Abstract

In the digital era, the world of sports must not be left behind to be able to follow a more sophisticated era. There needs to be a new breakthrough for the development of sports equipment that was originally manual into digital sports equipment that has sophisticated technology. With the development of more sophisticated sports equipment, it can easily achieve success in the field of sports. The high jump number in the athletics branch of sport is the most popular branch of sport. However, currently the high jump equipment used is still manual so it is less effective and efficient considering that the high jump competition requires time effectiveness between athletes. The development of high jump equipment aims to facilitate and make the time required more efficient. The high jump equipment was developed using a node mcu microprocessor. And a microcontroller to adjust the height of the high jump bar. The equipment that has been developed was then tested on 7 high jump athletes. Based on the trial, the results obtained were the percentage of tool effectiveness of 42%, tool safety of only 32%, tool efficiency and economy of 42%, ease of use of 54%, the smallest percentage was obtained by ease of tool placement of only 29%, while the highest percentage was in Long-Term Usefulness (PJJ) of 71%. So that the development of the tool is in the Good category with a percentage of 71%.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the level of student interest in participating in extracurricular sports Petanque at SMK Negeri 4 Jambi City. The research method used is descriptive quantitative with data collection techniques through questionnaires. The research sample consisted of students who participated in extracurricular Petanque at the school. The results showed that student interest in extracurricular Petanque was in the high category with a percentage of 37.46%. This interest is influenced by intrinsic and extrinsic factors. Intrinsic factors include student interest, attention, and involvement in activities, with a moderate category and a percentage of 34.67%. Meanwhile, extrinsic factors consisting of the environment and the availability of tools and facilities have a significant influence on student interest, with a high category and a percentage of 43.54%. Based on these results, it can be concluded that extrinsic factors have an important role in increasing student interest, especially through the provision of adequate facilities. However, intrinsic factors still need to be improved, especially in terms of student interest in Petanque sports. Therefore, efforts are needed such as more interesting training, wider promotion, and increasing student involvement in extracurricular activity.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the physical condition of Jambi Province's training center athletes and its relationship with sports achievement. A total of 217 athletes who were members of the Aceh-Sumut 2024 National Sports Week training center were used as research samples. The research method used a correlational quantitative approach with instruments in the form of a series of physical condition tests. The results showed that the physical condition of Jambi Province's training center athletes was generally in the "Good" category with an average value of 21.92. Athletes' achievements at the Aceh-Sumut 2024 National Sports Week showed 6 people (2.76%) won 1st place, 18 people (8.29%) 2nd place, 27 people (12.44%) 3rd place, and 166 people (76.49%) 4th place and below. Spearman correlation test results showed a very weak but significant negative relationship (r = -0.136, p = 0.046) between physical condition and athlete achievement. In conclusion, physical condition is not the main factor determining the achievement of Jambi Province's training center athletes; rather, there are other factors that may be more dominant, such as tactical intelligence, mental readiness, and competitive experience.

Abstract

This research was motivated by the limited participation of students at SMA Negeri 6 Jambi City in swimming activities, despite the school's previous achievements in this sport. The study aims to determine students' level of interest in swimming and analyze the factors influencing it. A descriptive quantitative method with a survey approach was employed. Data collection was conducted through questionnaire distribution to 132 randomly selected students from a population of 882. The findings revealed that 52% of students fall into the moderate interest category, 41% high interest, 6% very high interest, and 2% low interest. Intrinsic factors such as attention, preference, and activity participation significantly contribute to interest levels, while extrinsic factors including peer influence, facilities, family support, and environmental conditions also play important roles. The research concludes that students' interest in swimming at SMA Negeri 6 Jambi City is reasonably good, though not yet optimal.

Abstract

Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) play a vital role in national economic development, yet they still face major challenges, particularly in graphic design creativity and manual financial recordkeeping. Digitalization has become an urgent need to enable MSMEs to remain competitive amid the era of technological transformation. To address this need, a community service program was carried out in the form of training on the use of Canva and PosSaku application for MSME actors in the Food Court Nusantara area, Mal SKA. The aim of this activity was to improve participants’ understanding and skills in designing digital promotional brochures using Canva, as well as managing financial records more efficiently through the PosSaku application. The training method was participatory and interactive, consisting of material delivery, independent practice, mentoring, and evaluation of participants’ work. The results of the training showed a significant improvement in the participants’ skills, which included business owners and employees of a fried chicken (ayam geprek) business. All participants were able to independently create promotional brochures using Canva and gained an understanding of the importance of visual branding in business. Moreover, the use of PosSaku enabled participants to record sales and expenses in real-time, prepare simple financial reports, and make business decisions based on actual data. This training successfully raised participants’ awareness of the importance of technology for business sustainability and development, and served as an initial step toward broader digital transformation for MSMEs.

Abstract

Di SMAN Kecamatan Kayu Aro, penerapan Kurikulum Merdeka dalam pembelajaran sepakbola memerlukan peningkatan keterampilan komunikasi guru agar pembelajaran berjalan efektif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis efektivitas keterampilan komunikasi guru olahraga dalam konteks tersebut, menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan guru Penjas sebagai sumber data. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa guru merasa lebih mudah dalam komunikasi lisan karena materi sepakbola masih berfokus pada teknik dasar. Namun, komunikasi tulisan dinilai sulit karena penjelasan tertulis sering tidak dipahami siswa. Komunikasi visual juga menjadi tantangan karena membutuhkan media dan persiapan khusus yang tidak semua guru kuasai. Kendala utama meliputi keterbatasan sarana prasarana (seperti lapangan, bola, dan alat bantu), kesesuaian modul ajar dengan kondisi sekolah, dan kesulitan siswa dalam memahami tahapan pembelajaran sesuai modul. Guru harus menyesuaikan modul dan bahan ajar dengan fasilitas yang tersedia di sekolah.

Abstract

Esensi senam dapat dipahami bahwasanya senam juga dapat dijadikan sebagai penunjang kesehatan oleh setiap individu, namun, permasalahan yang sering ditemui adalah masih banyak yang tidak menyadari pentingnya olahraga dalam hal ini senam sebagai penunjang kesehatan. Hal ini ditambah dengan kurangnya instruktur yang berkompeten dalam memberikan penyuluhan dan pelatihan dalam rangka mewujudkan individu yang sehat dilandasi olaharaga yang bersifat kontinuitas.Tujuan pelatihan ini dapat menambah kreatifitas guru penjas dengan mengkreasikan rangkaian senam yang dapat dipakai sebagai bahan ajar disekolah. Kegiatan ini dikemas dalam bentuk pelatihan. Pelatihan ini juga sangat bermanfaat dan disambut baik oleh guru-guru Penjas se-Kota Jambi, melalui KKGOR (Kelompok Kerja Guru Olahraga). Acara pelatihan ini terdiri dari 2 sesi, yaitu sesi teori yaitu pemberian teori mengenai macam-macam gerakan-gerakan senam kreasi oleh dosen kepada guru-guru yang mengikuti pelatihan, dan sesi praktek yang merupakan penerapan teori macam-macam gerakan senam kreasi tersebut.  Kata Kunci : Pelatihan, senam kreasi, Guru Olahraga

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui Pengaruh latihan kucing bola dalam meningkatkan teknik dasar passing terhadap permainan bola futsal di Klub Fun Futsal Jambi. Jenis penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen. Metode penelitian ini dapat di artikan sebagai mode yang digunakan untuk mencari pengaruh latihan kucing bola terhadap Klub Fun Futsal Jambi. Adapun yang menjadi sampel pada penelitian ini yaitu sebagian pemaini Fun Futsal Jambi yang saya jadikan sampel ada 20 orang. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data diperoleh nilai L hitung untuk data tes awal dan tes akhir secara berurutan 0.1056 < L Tab 0,1981; 0.1234 < L Tab 0,1981. Perbandingan harga antar t hitung dengan nilai presentil pada tabel distribusi – t, untuk taraf nyata α = 0,05 dengan derajat kebebasan (dk) = (n – 1) = 19 diperoleh t hitung (12,22) > t tabel (1,7291). Ini berarti hipotesis Ha yang diterima dan Ho ditolak. Jadi dapat disimpulkan terdapat pengaruh latihan kucing bola dalam meningkatkan teknik dasar passing terhadap permainan bola futsal di Klub FUN Futsal Jambi.
