Abstract

The aim of this research is to find out the correlation between duration of watching television and bodily-kinesthetic intelligence of 6 years old. Six development scopes according to Regulation of National Education Minister of Indonesia Number 137 in 2014, what must be stimulated in accordance with the achievement level of six years old children’s development cover language, art, physical, social emotional, cognitive, moral, and religion. Bodily-kinesthetic or physical ability, according to Gardner, becomes one of competences that must be developed at early age. The research method used was quantitative research. The analysis was done by using correlation product moment with two variables; independent variable which is the duration of watching television (variable X) and dependent variable which is bodily-kinesthetic intelligence (variable Y). The decision criteria if “r” score (r count) along with significance (sig.) <0,05, then independent variable has strongly convincing correlation with dependent variable. If “r” score (r count) along with significance (sig.) > 0,05, then the independent variable has strongly convincing correlation with the dependent variable. The results of the research showed correlation coefficient (r) = 0,842 along with significance 0,000. Based on the decision criteria above, it can be concluded that correlation from both variables is significant because its significance is smaller than 0,05 (0,000 < 0,05). Then in can be concluded that there is strong correlation, in which the longer the children watch television then the higher their bodily kinesthetic intelligence was.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peran pemerintah desa terhadap pembangunan sektor pertanian di Desa Wates Kecamatan Jenangan Kabupaten Ponorogo. Jenis penelitian pada penelitian ini adalah penelitan kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif. Lokasi penelitian di Desa Wates Kecamatan Jenangan Kabupaten Ponorogo. Adapun informan kunci dalam penelitian ini yaitu Kepala Desa Wates dan perwakilan gabungan kelompok tani (gapoktan) Desa Wates. Instrumen penelitian terdiri dari pedoman wawancara catatan observasi lapang, dan dokumentasi. Dari hasil penelitian diketahui jika Kepala Desa Wates mempunyai peran yang sangat signifikan terhadap pembangunan pertanian di Desa Wates, yaitu ditunjukkan dengan: 1) Kepala Desa mampu memberikan pengarahan kepada bawahan dalam melaksanakan pembangunan, 2) Kepala Desa mampu mengambil keputusan dalam proses penyelenggaraan pembangunan, 3) Kepala Desa mampu mengkoordinir penyelenggaraan pembangunan desa; 4) Kepala Desa mampu mengawasi aktivitas dalam proses penyelenggaraan pemerintah desa.

Abstract

The development of information technology in the digital era is currently increasing and also influencing the world of education. This also affects students' ability to be able to take advantage of applications relating to the development of digital literacy skills, especially in writing scientific papers. In the world of academia, currently scientific work is one of the demands and even obligations, so it also demands students to follow its developments. The increasing prevalence of plagiarism cases in academia is also a scourge for students, especially for students in the final level of Ponorogo Regency, here the sample is students of Muhammadiyah University of Ponorogo. Therefore, it is necessary to prepare from the beginning how literacy procedures properly and correctly through the help of a program application so that later students are able to make good manager references. The method applied in this community service with partners, namely students of Muhammadiyah University of Ponorogo, especially in semesters 6 and 8, will be introduced to the Mendeley desktop program application in making citation of scientific papers. The output achieved in this service activity is a national community service scientific journal with ISSN. This community service activity has been successfully carried out for two online meetings. The first online meeting activity provided an explanation of the function of the mendeley desktop program, the function of tools in the mendeley desktop program and assisting students in the use of the mendeley desktop in making scientific papers. At the second meeting, continued assistance was carried out on the use of the Mendeley application and confirmation in making scientific papers with the help of the Mendeley desktop application. Keywords: Mendeley Desktop, Scientific Papers, Reference Manager, Training.  Perkembangan teknologi informasi dalam era digital saat ini semakin meningkat dan juga mempengaruhi dalam dunia pendidikan. Hal ini berpengaruh juga dalam kemampuan mahasiswa untuk bisa memanfaatkan aplikasi-aplikasi yang berkenaan dengan pengembangan kemampuan literasi digital, khususnya dalam penulisan karya ilmiah. Dalam dunia akademisi saat ini karya ilmiah menjadi salah satu tuntutan bahkan kewajiban, sehingga menuntut pula bagi mahasiswa untuk mengikuti perkembangannya. Semakin maraknya tentang kasus-kasus plagiasi dalam dunia akademisi juga menjadi momok bagi mahasiswa khususnya bagi mahasiswa di Kabupaten Ponorogo tingkat akhir, disini sample adalah mahasiswa Universitas Muhammadiyah Ponorogo. Oleh karena itu, perlu disiapkan sejak awal bagaimana tata cara literasi dengan baik dan benar melalui bantuan suatu aplikasi program agar nantinya mahasiswa mampu membuat referensi manager dengan baik. Metode yang diterapkan dalam pengabdian masyarakat ini dengan mitra yaitu mahasiswa Universitas Muhammadiyah Ponorogo khususnya semester 6 dan 8 akan dikenalkan tentang aplikasi program mendeley desktop dalam pembuatan citasi karya ilmiah. Adapun luaran yang dicapai dalam kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah jurnal ilmiah pengabdian masyarakat  nasional ber ISSN. Kegiatan pengabdian ini telah berhasil dilakukan selama dua kali pertemuan secara daring (online). Kegiatan pertemuan daring pertama dengan memberikan penjelasan materi fungsi program mendeley desktop, fungsi tools dalam program mendeley desktop serta pendampingan mahasiswa dalam penggunaan mendeley desktop dalam pembuatan karya ilmiah. Pada pertemuan kedua dilaksanakan pendampingan lanjutan penggunaan aplikasi mendeley serta konfirmasi dalam pembuatan karya ilmiah dengan bantuan aplikasi mendeley desktop. Kata Kunci: mendeley dekstop, karya ilmiah, referensi manager, pelatihan.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui implementasi pendidikan karakter dalam perkuliahan di Prodi PPKn Universitas Muhammadiyah Ponorogo. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian kualitatif.  Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu teknik kuisioner, observasi, wawancara, dan studi dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian, dari 18 nilai karakter yang telah disampaikan oleh pusat kurikulum dan hampir seluruhnya dilaksanakan dalam proses pembelajaran di prodi PPKn Universitas Muhammadiyah Ponorogo pada pembelajaran daring. Terdapat 14 nilai karakter yang telah disampaikan oleh pusat kurikulum dan hampir seluruhnya dilaksanakan dalam proses pembelajaran di prodi PPKn Universitas Muhammadiyah Ponorogo pada pembelajaran daring. Adapun nilai-nilai karakter tersebut adalah religius, jujur, toleransi, disiplin, kerja keras, kreatif, mandiri, demokratis, rasa ingin tahu, menghargai prestasi, bersahabat atau komunikatif, gemar membaca, peduli sosial, dan tanggung jawab. Semua nilai-nilai karakter tersebut terwujud pada saat dilaksanakannya pembelajaran secara daring, pada saat mahasiswa mengikuti kegiatan perkuliahan bersama dosen, baik menggunakan aplikasi google meet, zoom, whatsapp group, maupun menggunakan akun e learning Universitas Muhammadiyah Ponorogo yaitu bebas.umpo.ac.id.

Abstract

Artikel ini ditulis untuk memberikan gambaran kepada guru dalam mengimplementasikan dimensi pendidikan multikultural dari pemikiran James A. Banks sesuai dengan realitas masyarakat Indonesia. Seperti yang sudah diketahui konteks masyarakat Indonesia yang beragam mulai dari perbedaan agama, suku, budaya, ras, bahasa daerah hingga adat istiadat menunjukkan bahwa Indonesia merupakan masyarakat multikultural. Indonesia dengan populasi didominasi oleh masyarakat beragama muslim, namun tidak menyatakan bahwasannya negara ini adalah negara muslim tetapi negara dengan berbagai agama yaitu Kristen, Hindu, Budha, dan Kong Hu Chu. Realitas tersebut menjadikan Indonesia dikenal dengan negara yang menganut sistem demokrasi terbesar ketiga di dunia. Hal ini juga yang mendorong negara ini untuk terus mengembangkan arus demokratisasi dalam masyarakat untuk membentuk civil society dengan mengangkat semboyan Bhineka Tunggal Ika. Pendidikan multikultural menjadi salah satu cara untuk dapat membantu merealisasikan tujuan tersebut. James A. Bank mempunyai suatu gagasan untuk pengembangan dimensi pendidikan multikultural pada sekolah-sekolah di negara yang mengembangkan tentang konteks pendidikan multikultural. Pengembangan dimensi pendidikan multikultural tersebut dijabarkan menjadi 14 point utama yang dapat dijadikan sebagai acuan guru dalam proses pembelajaran

Abstract

Tradisi merupakan wujud pola perilaku dan aturan tidak tertulis yang ada dalam suatu masyarakat. Salah satu tradisi yang masih dijalankan hingga saat ini yaitu tradisi seret gedhang di Desa Sumbersari Tumpang, Kabupaten Malang.Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu untuk: 1)Menggali nilai-nilai pendidikan karakter pada tradisi seret gedhang; 2)Menggali nilai mitologi Jawa dalam tradisi seret gedhang; 3)Mengintegrasikan nilai pendidikan karakter pada tradisi seret gedhang pada pembelajaran IPS SD. Penelitian ini dilakukan di Dusun Sumbersari, Kelurahan Bojongsalaman, Kecamatan Tumpang, Kota Malang.Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan fenomenologi.Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui teknik observasi lapangan, wawancara mendalam dan dokumentasi. Hasil pengumpulan data selanjutnya dianalisis secara deskriptif kualitatif.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan: 1) Ada 7 nilai pendidikan karakter dalam tradisi seret gedhang yaitu gotong royong, religius, toleransi, disiplin, peduli lingkungan, peduli sosial, dan tanggung jawab 2) Nilai mitologi Jawa pada tradisi seret gedhang yaitu melalui alur neloni, mithoni, brokohan, dan seret gedhang; 3)Nilai pendidikan karakter pada mitologi Jawa seret gedahang dapat diintegrasikan pada pembelajaran IPS SD materi masyarakat dan budaya.

Abstract

This study aims to: 1) find out the role of boarding school administrators in fostering the character of students in the disciplines of Pondok Thoriqul Huda Ponorogo; 2) Knowing the forms of character building for students in the disciplines of Pondok Thoriqul Huda Ponorogo. This research is qualitative. The primary data source is the head of the boarding school and the board of management of the Thoriqul Huda boarding school. Data collection techniques in this study were observation, interviews, and documentation. The data analysis technique is data reduction, data presentation, and data conclusion. The results of this study can be seen that 1) the role of the board administrators in fostering the disciplinary character of students, namely: a) awakening students to perform congregational prayers at asr and dawn; b) guiding the students in carrying out activities in the Islamic Boarding School; c) discipline the students in the departure of the judiciary; d) impose sanctions on students who violate the rules of the order of the cottage; e) motivating students to study harder in Islamic boarding schools, while the role played by board administrators is active. Furthermore, the results of the second research) form the formation of students’ disciplinary character through a participatory approach, the form of guidance is divided into two, namely: a) socialization of the rules of the boarding school when students register at the cottage witnessed by parents; b) routine or programmed socialization once a month precisely on the fourth week or called yaumul reckoning for the students.

Abstract

This article explores the potential of Reyog Ponorogo, a local Indonesian cultural narrative, to nurture positive citizenship qualities. The concept of citizenship and its associated character traits are crucial for a functioning democracy. Educational efforts aim to cultivate these qualities in citizens. Local cultural narratives offer potential resources for such endeavors. This qualitative research employs a hermeneutic approach to analyze the Bantarangin version of the Reyog Ponorogo story and its characters, particularly Prabu Klana Sewandana and Bujangganong. Dante's hermeneutic analysis methodology guides the data analysis, focusing on identifying the characters' embodied civic values and their alignment with established national character education principles. The study reveals that Reyog Ponorogo characters exemplify various citizenship values, including religious devotion, honesty, self-reliance, creativity, and patriotism. These values are demonstrably connected to the 18 national character values emphasized in Indonesian education. The article argues that the Reyog Ponorogo narrative offers valuable lessons for contemporary civic education. Integrating these themes into educational programs can cultivate a more responsible and engaged citizenry. Future research is recommended to explore the effectiveness of incorporating Reyog Ponorogo performances or workshops into curriculums. Investigating other local cultural narratives across Indonesia can further enrich civic education and foster appreciation for the nation's cultural diversity. Combining traditional cultural elements with modern educational practices can cultivate well-rounded citizens equipped to contribute meaningfully to society. This study contributes to the literature by integrating the local story into academic programs, cultivating a more responsible and engaged one.
