Abstract

The purpose of this research are to analyze the influence of container crane productivity (X1)and ship call frequency (X2) on the number of containers handled (Y) at Terminal PetikemasSemarang branch PT. Pelabuhan Indonesia III. The tool of analysis which was used wasMultiple Regression with Classic Assumption Test. This research used secondary data obtainedfrom TPKS such as monthly report the achievement of performance, monthly report of ship calland monthly report of stevedoring production within period of 6.5 years (January 2009 – June2015).The Result of the Multiple Regression Analysis was Log Y = 4.923991 + 0.525387 log XI+ 0.423276 log X2 + e. This equation showed that all regression coefficients were positive. Itmeans that if container crane productivity and ship call frequency was increased, the number ofthe containers handled would increase too.β1= 0.525, it means that if there is increase in container crane productivity by 10%, it will increase the cargo handling performance by 5.25%. Next, β= 0.423, it explains that if there is an increase in ship call frequency by 10%, it willincrease the cargo handling performance by 4.23%. The result of Coefficient of Determination ofTest shows that container crane productivity and ship call frequency give the proportion orpercentage of the total variation in the number of containers handled for about 94,8%. While, FTestshows that container crane productivity and ship call frequency influenced simultaneouslyon the number of containers handled. Furthermore, container crane productivity influencedpositively on the number of containers handled. Then the other X variable, ship call frequencyinfluenced positively on the number of containers handled.2Key words: Container Crane, Ship Call, Cargo Handling and Port.

Abstract

This study aimed to determine the effect of the Employee Work Engagement variable as a mediating variable between Perceived Organizational Support and Work-Life Balance. This type of quantitative descriptive research with Structural Equation Modeling as a data processing approach. The sampling technique is purposive sampling. They collected data by distributing questionnaires to 200 security unit employees working at State and Private Universities in Semarang City. The results showed a significant positive effect between the variables perceived organisational support, employee work engagement and work-life balance. The significant positive effect of the relationship between the three variables indicates that the employee work engagement variable can mediate the relationship between Perceived Organizational Support and Work-Life Balance. The triadic process between organisational support, work involvement and work-life balance is an implementation of social exchange theory. Employees give their time, energy, thoughts and enthusiasm for the organisation's benefit. Organisations provide remuneration in the form of compensation and welfare for the persistence of employee work for the advancement of the organisation. It gives a sense of satisfaction and happiness and can be used for yourself and your family. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh variabel Employee Work Engagement sebagai variabel mediasi antara Perceived Organizational Support dan Work-life Balance. Jenis penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif dengan Structural Equation Modeling sebagai pendekatan pengolahan data. Teknik pengambilan sampel adalah purposive sampling. Metode pengumpulan data dengan menyebarkan kuesioner kepada 200 pegawai satpam yang bekerja di Perguruan Tinggi Negeri dan Swasta di Kota Semarang. Hasil menunjukkan ada pengaruh positif signifikan antara variabel persepsi dukungan organisasi, employee work engagement dan work-life balance. Pengaruh positif signifikan pada hubungan ketiga variabel tersebut menunjukkan bahwa variabel employee work engagement mampu memediasi hubungan Perceived Organizational Support dan Work-life Balance. Proses triadik antara dukungan organisasi, keterlibatan kerja dan keseimbangan kehidupan kerja merupakan implementasi dari teori pertukaran sosial. Karyawan memberikan waktu, tenaga, pikiran dan semangat untuk kepentingan organisasi. Organisasi memberikan remunerasi berupa kompensasi dan kesejahteraan pada karyawan serta memberikan rasa kepuasan dan kebahagiaan yang dapat digunakan untuk diri sendiri dan keluarga.

Abstract

Mitra belum memahami penerapan proses ekspor dan pengiriman internasional ketika mereka bersedia mempromosikan produk kompetitif mereka kepada pelanggan potensial internasional. Mitra hanya menggunakan media sosial untuk mempromosikan produk mereka melalui media sosial ke kontak domestik yang tersimpan di ponsel mereka. Pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini memiliki dua tujuan, yaitu: (1) Meningkatkan pengetahuan mitra terkait proses ekspor dan ketentuan pengiriman internasional; dan (2) Untuk memfasilitasi mitra memasarkan produk mereka di situs web dalam bahasa Inggris. Metode kegiatan pelayanan dengan memberikan materi pemahaman proses ekspor, penerapan incoterms 2022, dan penggunaan landing page. Peserta dan mitra PKM mendapatkan pemahaman tentang penerapan kontrak pengiriman ekspor dan merespon bahwa materi yang diberikan memberikan pemahaman tentang pengenalan ekspor dan pengiriman barang. Tim PKM memfasilitasi dengan membuat website untuk memasarkan produk unggulan yang dihasilkan oleh mitra dan UMKM. Pembuatan halaman memakan waktu sekitar dua bulan. Situs web ini berisi produk-produk unggulan dan memberikan deskripsi dalam bahasa Inggris. Halaman ini dapat diakses secara online dengan pembelian hosting selama setahun. Halaman dapat diakses di cesmestore.com. Saran untuk keberlangsungan kegiatan PKM antara lain mengoptimalkan penggunaan website dan media sosial untuk memasarkan produk yang kompetitif dengan menggunakan SEO dan iklan berbayar.

Abstract

The decrease in the number of customers opening gold savings accounts during the past two years encourages PT Pegadaian in Kudus Branch Office to intensify direct promotion and service quality to improve customer purchase decisions. In addition, perceived price significantly affects customers opening gold savings. The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of perceived price, direct promotion, and service quality on purchase decisions. This study used purposive sampling to obtain 100 respondents from customers with gold savings. This research implemented multiple regression for testing three hypotheses. This study revealed that: 1) perceived price had a negative impact on purchase decisions; and 2) Direct promotion had a positive impact on purchase decisions. 3) Service quality had a positive impact on the purchase decision. The perceived price has a negative impact on the purchase decision because the customer will save money if they have surplus income. PT Pegadaian of Kudus Branch should maintain direct promotions and improve service quality to improve purchase decisions in line with the increased number of customers opening accounts for gold savings. Finally, PT Pegadaian should focus on educating potential customers so they will have a good perception of gold saving advantages by performing direct promotions and maintaining service quality.

Abstract

PT Eastwind Mandiri is an exporter of wooden-based furniture. To export their products, they need to prepare the goods, required documents, shipping arrangements, and payment processing after finding a buyer. This project explains the steps involved, starting from finding buyers, preparing the products and documents for export, to managing payments. Several parties are involved in this process, including Customs, Freight Forwarders, Ports, Surveyors, the Department of Industry and Trade, and Banks. The purpose of this research is to analyze the export procedure and payment procedure in exporting wooden table furniture to the United States without using a Letter of Credit (L/C). The research methods include observing the process, conducting interviews, and reviewing related information. This research uses secondary data in the form of documents used for the export of PT Eastwind Mandiri. The study shows that PT Eastwind Mandiri follows all required laws and regulations for exporting, including proper documentation and procedures. The payment method used is CAD (Cash Against Document), where payment is made after the buyer receives the shipping documents. This entire process is summarized in a simple flowchart for clarity

Abstract

Pandemi Covid-19 di dunia menyebabkan penurunan perekeonomian nasional bahkan dunia. Khususnya pada sektor pariwisata mendapat tekanan besar karena Pandemi Covid-19 serta Usaha Mikro kecil menengah (UMKM) di sekitar tempat wisata juga terkena dampak penurunan penjualan karena berkurangnya bahkan tidak adanya pengunjung yang datang. UMKM dengan produk usaha kerajinan tangan yang paling banyak bergantung pada sektor pariwisata baik untuk wisata domestik maupun mancanegara. ASEPHI adalah singkatan dari Asosiasi Eksportir dan Produsen Handycraft Indonesia, ASEPHI didirikan sebagai wadah penyaluran aspirasi pengusaha dan perajin untuk lebih mendorong jiwa kewiraswastaan hingga menjadi pengusaha profesional sekaligus mendukung dan menyukseskan program pembangunan ekonomi nasional. Visi Asephi adalah menyalurkan aspirasi pengusaha dan perajin di bidang kerajinan untuk lebih mendorong jiwa kewiraswastaan hingga menjadikan para perajin dan produsen sebagai pengusaha yang profesional dan sekaligus mendukung usaha pemerintah untuk menyukseskan program pembangunan ekonomi nasional. Salah satu kemampuan dalam berbisnis adalah kemampuan manajemen keuangan, pembuatan laporan keuangan yang mudah dan dapat diakses secara realtime sehingga tidak terjadi perselisihan jika memiliki sistem keuangan yang terbuka dan praktis. Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of information technology capabilities on organizational agility, knowledge management on organizational agility, information technology capabilities on product innovation, knowledge management on product innovation, organizational agility on product innovation. The research variables extend the academic discussion by finding inconsistencies in information technology capabilities and knowledge management on product innovation. Organizational agility is used as a mediating variable. This study is theoretically useful regarding the role of organizational agility as a mediator and managerially used as a foundation for the Semarang Cooperative & MSME Agency in educating the importance of technology and knowledge management, as well as training umkm actors to respond quickly to change. Partial Least Square Structural Equation Model (PLS-SEM) as an analytical tool with primary data obtained through questionnaires. The sample was taken by purposive random sampling from 123 culinary MSME owners in Semarang City who use digital platforms. This study found that information technology capability has a positive effect on organizational agility, knowledge management has a positive effect on organizational agility, and organizational agility has a positive effect on product innovation. However, the relationship between information technology capabilities and knowledge management is not significant to product innovation, and emphasizes the importance of organizational agility as a mediator. The research implication shows that organizational agility optimizes the use of information technology and knowledge management, so that both can contribute significantly to product innovation.

Abstract

This research focuses on exploring the important role of positive reviews in increasing consumer purchasing decisions, as well as how Wardah, as one of Indonesia's most prominent beauty brands, can utilize social media marketing to amplify those positive reviews. Positive reviews have proven to be a key factor in building consumer trust and influencing purchasing decisions in today's digital era. The present study employs quantitative research methodology, utilizing nonprobability sampling approaches in the form of incidental sampling. A questionnaire was utilized for data collection, with 384 Wardah clients receiving it. The findings demonstrated that Price Fairness, Product Quality, and Electronic Word of Mouth all positively impacted purchasing decisions, sometimes concurrently. The goal of the study is to determine how consumers' decisions to buy Wardah cosmetic items are influenced by electronic positive vibes, product quality, and pricing justice. The study integrates social media marketing theory to find out how consumer interactions and reviews on digital platforms can strengthen online product recommendations so that they are expected to increase purchasing decisions. This study suggests that companies strengthen and manage their image online to maximize social media marketing through relevant content both in terms of quality and price.
