Abstract

This article contains an analytical description of the self-concept of adolescents in terms of parenting styles. The research method used in this research is conceptual and empirical studies in the fields of social psychology, parenting and sociology about self-concepts developed by parenting styles. The findings of this article reveal a comparison of adolescent self-concepts based on parenting styles so that it can be used as a basis for understanding self-concept, where authoritative parenting styles can develop positive adolescent self-concepts.

Abstract

Multiple Intelligence disebut-sebut sebagai teori kecerdasan paling mutakhir yang menjadi jawaban bagi banyak pemerhati dan pendidik dalam menggali bakat dan potensi manusia yang menjadi prinsip untuk memperoleh prestasi belajar. Hasil penelitian melaporkan salah satu cara untuk mengoptimalkan multiple intellingece adalah kreativitas berbasis kecerdasan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan dampak pada prestasi belajar peserta didik/siswa terutama dalam peningkatan kecerdasan spacial, linguistik, kinestetik dan interpersonal. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk a) mengetahui ciri-ciri multiple intelligence yang terdapat pada siswa; b) mengetahui pengaruh multiple intelligence terhadap prestasi belajar. Dalam penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kombinasi model atau desain sequential explanatory. Metode ini merupakan metode penelitian kombinasi yang menggabungkan metode penelitian kuantitatif dan kualitatif secara berurutan, di mana pada tahap pertama penelitian dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode kuantitatif dan pada tahap kedua dilakukan dengan metode kualitatif. Tahapan dari penelitian ini meliputi tiga tahapan, yaitu : 1) Tahap I (Persiapan).;2) Tahap II (Pelaksanaan).; dan 3) Tahap III (Pelaporan).Hasil penelitian ini adalah siswa yang dapat mengembangkan multiple intelegencenya maka dapat meningkatkan prestasi belajarnya sehingga siswa dapat mengetahui pola belajarnya akan sangat mudah mempelajari materi di sekolah. sedangkan untuk guru dapat mengembangkan strategi pembelajaran dengan baik sesuai kemampuan intelegence siswannya. Abstract

Social adjustment in adolescents is a crucial process in individual development. High school adolescents often face various environmental changes and social pressures that differ from those at other ages. Reasonable social adjustment can help adolescents cope with problems and promote positive social and emotional development. However, poor adjustment can lead to mental and social health issues. This article explores various aspects of social adjustment in high school adolescents, including influencing factors, adjustment stages, and effective interventions. This study aims to develop an instrument that can be used to identify students' social adjustment. The participants involved in developing this instrument were 41 students aged 14-16 years (mean=0.80 and SD=0.83). The reliability value of the items is in the excellent category (0.918). Out of 50 statements developed, after testing validity and reliability, 49 statements are suitable for measuring students' social adjustment.

Abstract

Pendidikan merupakan salah satu penting dalam proses kehidupan. Oleh karena itu, setiap organisasi harus dapat mengembangan kegiatan pendidikan secara sistematis. Salah satu perkembangan pendidikan yang dapat dilakukan bisa melalui pengembangan media pembelajaranberbasis digital. Media pembelajaran basis digital akan membuat pembelajaran lebih menyenangkan hal tersebut karena pembuat media pembelajaran basis digital dapat memadukan antara audio dan visual. Salah satu teknologi digital yang dapat digunakan adalah gadget. Namun, jika gadget digunakan secara berlebihan akan berdampak buruk pada kondisi fisik maupun psikis anak. Oleh karena itu, sebaiknya orang tua harus mampu melakukan manajerial waktu. Dampak lain dari penggunaan gadget yang berlebihan, akan menyebabkan anak dehidrasi. Oleh karena itu, sebaiknya orang tua harus memperhatikan asupan gizi yang seimbang. Asupan gizi seimbang yang diberikan kepada anak dapat berpengaruh pada perkembangan otak anak.

Abstract

Pasca pandemic covid-19 kreativitas anak usia dini menjadi menurun, diperlukan kegiatan pembelajaran yang mampu meningkatkan kreativitas anak usia dini. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui perkembangan kreativitas anak usia dini menggunakan model bimbingan melalui kegiatan melukis. Penelitian ini menggunakan model bimbingan dalam pengembangan kreatifitas anak usia dini yaitu dengan menggunakan kegiatan melukis dengan media bahan alam.. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif, subjek penelitian dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa dan  guru  Kober Anggrek Desa Seda Kecamatan Mandirancan Kabupaten Kuningan. Teknik  pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data dilakukan dengan tiga cara yaitu reduksi data, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian  menunjukkkan model bimbingan yang dilakukan dengan kegiatan melukis dengan media bahan alam dapat mengembangkan kreativitas pada anak usia dini. Dengan demikian dapat dikatakan bahwa model bimbingan yang dilakukan dengan baik dapat membantu terhadap perkembangan kreativitas pada anak usia dini.

Abstract

Hospitals are considered high-risk work environments for occupational accidents. Therefore, the optimal implementation of an Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) system is essential to prevent the occurrence of work-related accidents and illnesses, particularly among healthcare workers serving in hospitals. This study aims to examine the relationship between knowledge and the implementation of Occupational Health and Safety practices. A quantitative method was employed using an analytic approach with a cross-sectional study design, the sample consisted of 69 nurses. The results of this study indicate that good knowledge of Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) is positively related to its implementation at RSUD Haji Makassar. Nurses with good knowledge are more likely to correctly implement OHS standards. Therefore, continuous training on OHS is essential to enhance nurses' awareness and compliance with safety standards. Further research with a larger sample size and direct observational approaches is recommended to understand other factors that influence the implementation of OHS.

Abstract

The age range of 7 to 12 years in elementary school is a crucial stage of child development, characterized by significant progress in physical, cognitive, social-emotional, and moral aspects. This study aims to identify the characteristics of physical, cognitive, social-emotional, and moral development in elementary school age children (7-12 years) through a systematic literature review. Taking into account the importance of understanding various aspects of child development in the context of education and parenting, this study uses the systematic literature review (SLR) method to collect and analyze relevant studies that have been published between 2020 and 2024. The results showed that children at this age experienced significant physical growth, improved logical and analytical thinking skills, social emotional development involving more complex relationships with peers, and a more mature moral understanding. This finding is expected to provide insight for educators and parents in supporting the optimal development of children.

Abstract

Personal-social guidance through strengths-based advising is an effort to synchronize education with guidance and counseling services. This study aims to produce a personal-social guidance model through strength-based advising to develop social adjustment in adolescents. The research problem formulation is the effectiveness of the personal-social guidance model through strengths-based advising on adolescent social adjustment. This study uses a quantitative and qualitative approach (mixed method). The model used is explanatory sequential mixed methods. The research results show personal-social guidance model through strength-based advising can be effective for developing social adjustment. The social adjustment aspect with the highest significance is the recognition aspect, with a significance of 0.235 compared to other aspects  . The implication of this study is that a strengths-based approach to providing personal-social guidance can potentially improve adolescent social adjustment. This underscores the importance of integrating a strengths-based advising approach in personal-social guidance services to assist adolescents in overcoming their social challenges.

Abstract

Personal-social guidance through strengths-based advising is an effort to synchronize education with guidance and counseling services. This study aims to produce a personalsocial guidance model through strength-based advising to develop social adjustment in adolescents. The research problem formulation is the effectiveness of the personal-social guidance model through strengths-based advising on adolescent social adjustment. The personal-social guidance model through strength-based advising can be effective for developing social adjustment. The social adjustment aspect with the highest significance is the recognition aspect, with a significance of .235 compared to other aspects.

Abstract

This research investigates the positive influence of the Team Games Tournament (TGT) learning model on elementary school students' motivation and mathematics performance. Using a quantitative quasi-experimental design with a One Group Pre-test Post-test format, the study involved twenty-five students from class VB at Elementary School 006 Melayu Besar. Various data collection instruments were utilized, including observation sheets, motivation questionnaires, and evaluation tests for learning outcomes. Statistical analyses such as the Wilcoxon test, Paired Sample t-test, and MANOVA were conducted. Results revealed a significant Asymp.Sig (2-tailed) value below 0.001 in the Wilcoxon test, indicating that TGT significantly enhances learning motivation. The Paired Sample t-test also reported a p-value of <0.001, demonstrating a notable improvement in pre-test and post-test scores, affirming the effectiveness of the TGT model. Additionally, MANOVA analysis confirmed that the TGT model positively influences both motivation and mathematics learning outcomes simultaneously, highlighting its beneficial impact on elementary school students' academic achievements.
