Abstract

Creative is one of the dimensions in the profile of Pancasila students. Students who are creative are able to adapt and create something different, meaningful, useful, and have a positive impact. The creative dimension has key elements, namely producing original ideas, producing original works and actions, and having the flexibility of thinking in finding alternative solutions to problems. This study aims to improve students' creative thinking skills to get to know the history or local culture in their area. Posters are generally used to attract the attention of readers of information that is to be conveyed. This study applies the Problem Based Learning learning model. This research is a Classroom Action Research (CAR) which is carried out in two cycles. Each cycle consists of the stages of planning, observation, implementation of actions, analysis, and reflection. Data collection techniques used include observation, interviews, and documentation studies. The results of the study indicate that the application of the Problem Based Learning learning model based on local cultural heritage in history subjects in class XC SMAN 5 Kota Madiun is able to improve students' creative thinking skills. The percentage obtained by students with creative thinking skills in the pre-cycle has been obtained that the increase from the pre-cycle obtained 6 (16.6%) students in the very creative category, in cycle I there was an increase to 15 (41.6%) students in the very creative category, and in cycle II there was also an increase to 29 (80.5%) students in the very creative category

Abstract

This research aims to reveal the development of the Kresek Monument historical tourism area for agrotourism based on Community Based Tourism. Qualitative descriptive research method. Data collection through observation, interviews, focus group discussions, and document study. Data validity through source triangulation. Analyze data with interactive analysis. The results of the research show that the Kresek Monument historical tourist area needs to be developed with a new perspective that the landscape of the Kresek Monument historical tourist area has the potential to become a beautiful natural tourist destination. For a long time, the community has been actively involved in developing the Kresek Monument historical tourist area through the "Mekar" Tourism Awareness Group. The community took the initiative and tried to integrate it with agrotourism around the monument area. Since the COVID-19 pandemic, the management of the Kresek Monument historical tourist area has been completely taken over by the Madiun Regency Tourism, Youth and Sports Department, while day-to-day management is carried out by the Madiun Regency Environmental Service. The Kresek Village Government is also involved in management through the Kresek Village Village-Owned Enterprise. Residents are involved based on assignments from these parties, such as tour guides. There is no policy synergy between stakeholders, which is a challenge in developing the Kresek Monument historical tourism area which is integrated with the community's agro-tourism area. The community is also faced with technical obstacles in the field in the form of road infrastructure connecting the Kresek Monument historical tourist area with unsupported agro-tourism areas.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Fenomena fatigue atau kelelahan material merupakan salah satu penyebab utama kegagalan komponen mesin akibat pembebanan berulang dengan tegangan yang berfluktuasi di bawah batas luluh (yield strength) maupun tegangan tarik maksimum (ultimate tensile strength). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis karakteristik hasil uji fatigue rotary pada spesimen Stainless Steel 304 dengan tumpuan tetap (fixed support) dan tumpuan gulir (roll support). Pengujian dilakukan menggunakan spesimen berbahan Stainless Steel 304 sesuai standar ASTM A276 dengan variasi beban 60 kg, 80 kg, dan 100 kg. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwa peningkatan beban menghasilkan kenaikan tegangan maksimum namun menurunkan jumlah siklus kelelahan material. Pada beban 60 kg, diperoleh tegangan sebesar 3530,4 MPa dengan 2299,1 siklus dalam waktu 99 detik; pada beban 80 kg diperoleh tegangan 4903,3 MPa dengan 1166,9 siklus dalam waktu 54 detik; dan pada beban 100 kg diperoleh tegangan 6080,1 MPa dengan 506,54 siklus dalam waktu 24 detik. Hasil ini menunjukkan bahwa semakin besar beban yang diterapkan, semakin rendah umur kelelahan (fatigue life) material Stainless Steel 304. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: 1) mengungkap nilai-nilai yang terkandung dalam tradisi Wuku Galungan di Dusun Wonomulyo Desa Genilangit Kecamatan Poncol Kabupaten Magetan; 2) mendeskripsikan dampak perkembangan teknologi informasi dan komunikasi terhadap tradisi Wuku Galungan di Dusun Wonomulyo; 3) peran pendidikan keluarga dalam pewarisan nilai-nilai tradisi Wuku Galungan di Dusun Wonomulyo. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif deskriptif. Data diperoleh melalui wawancara, observasi, dan studi dokumentasi. Validitas data menggunakan triangulasi sumber. Analisis data dengan teknik analisis interaktif. Hasil penelitian nenunjukkan: 1) nilai-nilai yang terkandung dalam tradisi Wuku Galungan yakni: nilai religius berupa rasa syukur kepada Tuhan, toleransi antarumat beragama, gotong royong, kebersamaan dan penghormatan terhadap leluhur; 2) teknologi informasi dan komunikasi berfungdi sebagai media edukasi dan promosi tradisi Wuku Galungan untuk peningkatan ekonomi lokal, namun pada sisi lain dapat mengakibatkan pergeseran nilai-nilai budaya masyarakat setempat; 3) pendidikan keluarga berperan dalam sosialisasi tradisi Wuku Galungan kepada anak sejak dini, habituasi, dan enkulturasi tradisi Wuku Galungan pada masyarakat Dusun Wonomulyo.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of the PEKO (Regulations and Commitments) strategy in improving teacher and educational staff discipline and performance at SD Negeri 02 Madiun Lor, Manguharjo District, Madiun City in 2025. The research employs a descriptive qualitative approach with data collected through observation, in-depth interviews, and document studies. The results indicate that the PEKO model effectively integrates structural and motivational dimensions in human resource management within educational institutions. The enforcement of clear regulations such as digital attendance, uniform compliance, and daily duty schedules—significantly increased discipline levels, while continuous coaching, transformational leadership, and proportional reward–punishment systems strengthened commitment and intrinsic motivation. The findings show an improvement in teacher attendance from 87% to 98%, enhanced teaching preparation, and more professional school culture. The principal’s exemplary leadership played a key role in fostering collaboration, transparency, and collective accountability. In conclusion, the PEKO strategy successfully transformed the work culture from loose and individualistic into professional, orderly, and collaborative, providing a sustainable model for enhancing educational quality through disciplined and committed human resources.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effectiveness of implementing Project Based Learning (PjBL) combined with the Gallery Walk technique in improving critical thinking skills and Social Studies (IPS) learning outcomes among students of class IXE at SMP Negeri 1 Madiun (n = 32). Using a Classroom Action Research design based on the Kemmis & McTaggart model with two cycles, the study collected data through observations using a critical thinking rubric, HOTS‑based learning outcome tests, in‑depth interviews, and documentation of student products such as posters and infographics. Quantitative results show an increase in the class mean score from 72.38 in Cycle I to 79.75 in Cycle II, while the classical mastery rate rose from 31.25% to 87.50%; statistical analysis indicated a significant difference (p < 0.001) with a large effect size. Qualitative findings corroborate the quantitative results, indicating that the Gallery Walk strengthened peer‑feedback mechanisms, encouraged product revision, and increased student participation and cognitive engagement. In conclusion, the combination of PjBL and Gallery Walk is effective in enhancing critical thinking and IPS learning outcomes, although strengthening self‑regulation and providing targeted remediation are needed to ensure that improvements are experienced more evenly across all students.

Abstract

This study aims to interpret the budgeting process in the policy-making of Social and Environmental Responsibility (TJSL) at PT Kaltim Industrial Estate (KIE). Using a qualitative-interpretive approach through a single instrumental case study, data were collected from interviews with key informants, observations, and document analysis. The findings reveal that TJSL budgeting at KIE is not merely a technical process but rather a complex arena of meaning negotiation. This process reflects the company’s efforts to respond to institutional pressures while simultaneously building social legitimacy. Five main themes were identified: (1) the interpretation of TJSL as a commitment to sustainability and Creating Shared Value (CSV); (2) the integration of TJSL into corporate strategy; (3) a bottom-up and participatory budgeting process; (4) priority setting influenced by institutional pressures and financial capacity; and (5) program evaluation involving external parties. The study concludes that the interpretation of TJSL has shifted from a symbolic obligation to a strategic investment, substantively integrated into corporate governance to ensure business sustainability.

Abstract

Purpose of the study: This study investigates the effectiveness of Edutainment-based learning devices in enhancing learning activity in elementary school science learning. Methodology: A quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental posttest non-equivalent control group design was employed. The participants consisted of 14 fifth-grade students from an elementary school in Madiun City, Indonesia, divided into an experimental group (n = 7) and a control group (n = 7). The experimental group was taught using Edutainment-based learning devices, while the control group received conventional instructional tools. Data on students’ learning activity were collected using observation sheets based on a four-point Likert scale and analyzed using descriptive statistics, independent sample t-tests, and N-gain analysis at a significance level of 0.05. Main Findings: The findings reveal that students in the experimental group predominantly reached good (71.4%) and very good (28.6%) categories of learning activity, whereas the control group was dominated by not good (71.4%) and not very good (14.3%) categories. Inferential analysis confirmed a significant difference between the two groups (t = 4.167 > t_table = 2.145), indicating that Edutainment-based learning devices significantly outperform traditional approaches in promoting active learning. Moreover, an N-gain score of 0.6 suggests a moderate but meaningful improvement in students’ learning activity. Novelty/Originality of this study: The novelty of this study lies in its empirical validation of Edutainment-based learning devices specifically for IPAS at the elementary level, using learning activity as a core outcome rather than solely cognitive achievement.

Abstract

This study examines the digital da'wah communication strategy of Lirboyo Islamic Boarding School in instilling the values of religious moderation through social media. By utilizing various digital platforms such as Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, and Facebook, this Islamic boarding school has successfully bridged traditional Islamic values with the communication needs of today's generation. The focus of the study covers three main aspects: (1) the form and pattern of digital da'wah, (2) moderate da'wah communication strategies, and (3) the values of religious moderation instilled through digital content. The results of the study show that Lirboyo Islamic Boarding School consistently applies the principles of tawassuth, tasamuh, tawazun, and i'tidal in every digital da'wah content produced, while remaining based on yellow books and the opinions of authorized scholars..
