Abstract

The Pelton turbine is a microhydro device that can convert kinetic energy into electrical energy with the help of water flow. A valve is a piping system that functions to regulate, direct and control the rate of fluid flow by opening and closing the fluid flow. The steps used in this research include design methods, tool testing methods, data collection methods, and data analysis methods. The aim of this research is to determine the effect of varying valve openings of 30°, 60° and 90° on the values of rotational speed, torque, turbine power, generator power and system efficiency from the Pelton turbine simulator. From the test results and data processing, it was found that a 90° valve opening had better rotational speed, torque, turbine power and generator power, as well as system efficiency compared to 30° and 60° valve openings

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengungkap relevansi strategi pembelajaran dosen dengan memanfaatkan sumber pembelajaran di luar kelas berupa pengelolaan kawasan wisata sejarah Monumen Kresek pasca pandemi COVID-19 untuk meningkatkan motivasi belajar mahasiswa. Jenis penelitian kualitatif studi kasus. Tempat penelitian di Program Studi Pendidikan Sejarah FKIP Universitas PGRI Madiun. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini meliputi: wawancara, observasi, dan studi dokumentasi. Validitas data diperoleh melalui triangulasi sumber. Analisis data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan analisis interaktit model Miles dan Hubermen. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan: 1) Pengelolaan kawasan wisata sejarah Monumen Kresek melibatkan masyarakat melalui Kelompok Sadar Wisata  “Mekar” atau menerapkan Community Based Tourism (CBT). Sejak pandemi COVID-19, pengelolaan kawasan wisata sejarah Monumen Kresek diambilalih oleh Dinas Pariwisata, Pemuda, dan Olah Raga Kabupaten Madiun, sementara pengelolaan sehari-hari di lapangan oleh Dinas Lingkungan Hidup Kabupaten Madiun. Pemerintah Desa Kresek juga terlibat dalam pengelolaan melalui Badan Usaha Milik Desa (Bumdes) Desa Kresek. Warga terlibat berdasarkan penugasaan dari pihak-pihak tersebut seperti sebagai pemandu wisata. Strategi pembelajaran dosen dengan memanfaatkan sumber belajar di luar kelas yakni Pengelolaan Kawasan Wisata Sejarah Monumen Kresek Kabupaten Madiun pasca pandemi relevan dengan situasi dan kondisi mahasiswa pasca pandemi yang merupakan upaya meningkatkan motivasi belajar secara eksternal (ekstrinsik). Motivasi mahasiswa pendidikan sejarah cenderung meningkat dilihat dari respon mahasiswa terhadap pembelajaran yang dilakukan dosen menjadikan mahasiswa tertarik dan terkesan sehingga meningkatkan motivasi belajar mahasiswa.

Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic has caused various moral dilemmas. In Indonesia, there is a dilemma of whether to stay at home or go outside for work, whether to study at school or from home, whether to return home or not on holidays for migrants and whether to pray from home or at the place of worship. These various dilemmas can be used as materials or learning sources for students. They can learn to make moral decisions based on factual arguments through value clarification techniques by utilizing information and communication technology. The implementation of this model can provide students with a good learning experience in making a rational moral decision based on the facts revealed by the students’ active participation in online learning. This model can also be applied in other situations when people are faced with various dilemmas.

Abstract

Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan mengungkap kontruksi materi, praksis pembelajaran, dan reproduksi pengetahuan sejarah kontroversial G-30-S/PKI, serta pertautan dengan konteks di luarnya, yaitu situasi masyarakat Indonesia pasca Reformasi dan fenomena era post truth. Metode penelitian kualitatif ekslporatif. Pengumpulan data dengan wawancara, observasi, dan studi dokumentasi. Data divalidasi dengan triangulasi sumber. Analisis data dengan analisis wacana kritis dari Fairclough. Hasil penelitian menemukan bahwa konstruksi materi G-30-S/PKI merepresentasikan situasi masyarakat Indonesia pasca Reformasi yang ditandai dengan dimasukannya berbagai versi serta digunakannya istilah G 30 S dan G-30-S/PKI sekaligus, namun dalam praksis pembelajaran dan reproduksi pengetahuan di masyarakat masih didominasi satu versi yang ditandai dengan penggunaan media film G-30-S/PKI dan sumber pengetahuan lain dalam versi yang sama. Terdapat pertautan antara wacana (teks/materi), praksis pembelajaran, dan reproduksi pengetahuan sejarah kontroversial Gerakan 30 September 1965 dengan konteks masyarakat Indonesia pasca Reformasi yang secara umum masih menyimpan memori traumatik tentang komunisme, faktor kebijakan pemerintah terhadap pendidikan sejarah, serta fenomena era post truth. Abstract This study aims to reveal the construction of materials, learning praxis, and reproduction of the controversial historical knowledge of the G-30-S/PKI, as well as the relationship with the context outside, namely the situation of post-Reformation Indonesian society and the phenomenon of the post-truth era. Explorative qualitative research method. Collecting data by interview, observation, and study documentation. Data were validated by triangulation of sources. Data analysis with critical discourse analysis from Fairclough. The results of the study found that the material construction of the G-30-S/PKI represented the situation of Indonesian society after the Reformation, which was marked by the inclusion of various versions and the use of the terms G 30S and G-30-S/PKI at once, but in the practice of learning and reproducing knowledge in society. still dominated by one version which is marked by the use of the G-30-S/PKI film media and other sources of knowledge in the same version. There is a link between discourse (text/material), learning praxis, and reproduction of controversial historical knowledge of the 30 September 1965 Movement with the context of post-Reformation Indonesian society, which in general still retains traumatic memories of communism, government policy factors for historical education, and the phenomenon of the post-truth era. .

Abstract

This study aims to explore the impact of the Kiai Ageng Muhammad Besari grave pilgrimage tradition on fostering humanistic and spiritual attitudes among students at SDN 2 Ngrupit Ponorogo. Employing a qualitative descriptive approach with phenomenological paradigm, the research involved 25 students from grades V-VI, 5 teachers, 3 community leaders, and 2 grave caretakers through participant observation and semi-structured in-depth interviews. Results indicate that 78% of students experienced increased empathy, tolerance, and self-reflection after consistently participating in pilgrimage traditions. Findings reveal that pilgrimage functions not merely as a religious ritual but also as an effective character education medium bridging historical knowledge, spiritual introspection, and humanistic values. The study concludes that integrating pilgrimage traditions into educational curriculum contributes holistically to developing students' moral character and responsiveness to humanitarian values as well as local cultural heritage.   ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan mengeksplorasi dampak tradisi ziarah makam Kiai Ageng Muhammad Besari terhadap pembentukan sikap humanis dan spiritualis siswa SDN 2 Ngrupit Ponorogo. Menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif dengan paradigma fenomenologi, penelitian melibatkan 25 siswa kelas V-VI, 5 guru, 3 tokoh masyarakat, dan 2 pengurus makam melalui observasi partisipan dan wawancara mendalam semi-terstruktur. Hasil menunjukkan 78% siswa mengalami peningkatan empati, toleransi, dan refleksi diri setelah mengikuti tradisi ziarah secara konsisten. Temuan mengungkap bahwa ziarah tidak hanya berfungsi sebagai ritual keagamaan, tetapi juga sebagai wahana pendidikan karakter yang efektif dalam menjembatani pengetahuan sejarah, introspeksi spiritual, dan nilai-nilai humanis. Penelitian menyimpulkan bahwa integrasi tradisi ziarah dalam kurikulum pendidikan berkontribusi holistik terhadap pembentukan karakter siswa yang bermoral dan responsif terhadap nilai-nilai kemanusiaan serta warisan budaya lokal.

Abstract

The teaching methods and assignment variations are crucial in enhancing student learning outcomes and character development. This research seeks to improve students' academic performance and character development by applying an independent character-building learning approach. A classroom action research design was adopted over two cycles between January and April 2025. Data were gathered through observation and testing, and subsequently analyzed using qualitative and quantitative methods. The research results indicate that student learning outcomes and character in Class VIII E at MTs Negeri 1 Sragen can be improved through learning using the portfolio assessment method. Learning outcomes improved, as evidenced by the average score rising from 72.41 in Cycle I to 93.10 in Cycle II. Meanwhile, the improvement in character is shown by a "Good" category in Cycle I and a "Very Good" category in Cycle II. Thus, the classical completeness achievement has been reached because it exceeds the established work indicator of 85%.

Abstract

This study uses goal-setting theory and reinforcement theory to explain the formation of individual motivation in achieving goals. Testing the effect of goal specificity used the experimental method to test the impact of goal specificity, different goal difficulty on the same quota incentive system as the 2x2x1 experimental design. This study's findings confirm the goal-setting theory shown from the higher achievement of participants' goals when participants are given specific and challenging goals than participant goals in different variations of goal specificity and goal difficulty. This study found that participants have a greater focus on goal specificity in driving goal attainment behavior. The findings of this study confirm the reinforcement theory shown from achieving goals that exceed targets. Positive consequences become arguments for individuals to do the same action

Abstract

In the era of sophisticated development, the development of science and technology has accelerated. The development of science and technology in the 21st century has influenced the entire order of life globally. In the 21st century there is a paradigm shift or way of thinking in dealing with various phenomena including mindsets related to education. The learning process in education in the 21st century requires learning strategies that are suitable for today's students. This study aims to determine the effect of using bamboozle learning media in history subjects on the learning outcomes of 12th grade students at SMA Negeri 5 Madiun. This research uses a qualitative descriptive method. The results of the study of the effect of the use of bamboozle learning media on 12th grade history subjects at SMA Negeri 5 Madiun show that: (1) The use of Baamboozle is proven to improve student learning outcomes. Students involved in learning using this media showed a significant increase in test scores. (2) The use of Baamboozle learning media in teaching History at SMA Negeri 5 Madiun has brought positive changes in the learning process and student learning outcomes. The use of this media not only improves students' understanding of the material, but also increases students' engagement in learning history. Baamboozle in History subject in class XII SMA Negeri 5 Madiun has proven to have a positive influence on students' learning outcomes. This media not only makes the learning process more interactive and fun, but also helps improve students' understanding of the material presented. With its interactive quiz feature, Baamboozle managed to change History learning from monotonous to more dynamic, thus significantly increasing student engagement.

Abstract

This study aims to improve students' learning motivation by using Wordwall media (Search for Historical Words). Wordwall media is an interactive learning media based on technology that can be easily accessed. This type of research is Classroom Action Research (CAR) initiated by Kemmis & McTaggart. This research was conducted at SMAN 5 Madiun with 34 students as subjects of class X-A. The data collection method used in this study was a test and observation conducted directly by the researcher. The analysis technique used is descriptive quantitative and qualitative. The use of these techniques describes in detail the implementation of learning with Wordwall Media (Search for Historical Words), the Culturally Responsive Teaching (CRT) approach, and the Problem Based Learning (PBL) Model.

Abstract

Taufik Abdullah's statement regarding the weakness of the pedagogical strategy of Indonesian history can still be found today. However, the Merdeka curriculum provides a glimmer of hope for history teachers in creating more interesting and meaningful history learning. This novelty can be used to insert local-based knowledge into students. For history teachers, this can be done by integrating local history into learning materials. Integration of local history can be a way out of the problem of weak history education strategies at the school level. This article aims to analyze the effectiveness of using YouTube as a medium in integrating local history into history subjects to improve students' critical thinking skills. The method used is the Kemmis and McTaggart model of classroom action research carried out in two cycles. Furthermore, this study uses a qualitative approach with data collection techniques in the form of observation and written tests. The results of this study indicate that the use of YouTube as a learning medium equipped with the integration of local history can improve students' critical thinking skills. This can be seen from the increase in the quality of analysis, understanding of the material, discussions, and answers given when the test is given. The success of this research is also inseparable from the influence of several factors such as (1) the relevance between the discussion theme and the background of the students; (2) the needs of the students; (3) the availability of learning materials; and (4) the use of digital media as part of learning activities.
