Abstract

The Quranic perspective on knowledge and knowledge claimants is very detailed, where many Quranic verses speak of knowledge and also tell about knowledge claimants, both those who have status as scholars and prophets. The purpose of this research is to know and understand the Quranic perspective on science and the benefits of science. In this research, data collection is obtained through a literature study approach by collecting primary sources in the form of original writings of scholars and secondary sources in the form of dictionaries or other people's research results so that in the future it can become a reference in state Islamic universities in Indonesia. Based on the results of the study, Science is a gift from Allah SWT to His servants, a servant can bind all knowledge, be it religious knowledge or the universe with writing, because Allah tells us to read his verses, be it verses related to religious laws, or with existing science. Being a seeker of knowledge and an expert in knowledge is the highest degree of a believer, because it is clear the difference between a believer with knowledge and a believer without knowledge.

Abstract

Women have played a significant role in the history of human civilization, including Islamic civilization. Muslim women such as Khadijah, Aisha, and other female companions (shahabiyah) have made substantial contributions in various fields, including science, propagation of the faith, and activism. However, stigmas against highly educated women persist in certain societies. This research aims to investigate the Hadith perspective on women, education, and their role in Islamic civilization. This qualitative research employs a literature review to gather information. Relevant Hadiths pertaining to the concept of women's education are collected, analyzed deductively and inductively. Education is a fundamental right for all individuals, including women. Women's education is the key to empowering them in various aspects of life. The Hadith underscores the importance of seeking knowledge, especially religious knowledge. This research contributes to a deeper understanding of the crucial role women play in shaping Islamic civilization and addresses the stigma surrounding women's education.

Abstract

Ethics and morality on social media are something that must be paid attention to, where a phenomenon called flexing has become a topic of discussion because it is not really in line with the culture of ethics and morality. The results of this research are formulating hadiths related to flexing through primary sources of hadith books in a thematic pattern and the opinion of hadith scholars regarding these flexing hadiths is to tell us all to always be careful in doing anything, especially on social media nowadays, contextualizing this flexing hadith with ethical behavior and morality on today's social media, where some of its activists carry out acts of showing off luxury.

Abstract

This article tried to find out the hidden meaning in the song Kun Fa Yakoon, written by Mohammad bin Dhahi, one of the most popular songs in the Muslim world during the pandemic Covid-19, not only due to the imitation of one of the current most popular Western songs, Memories by Maroon, but the acapella is also interesting due to the overwhelming symbols within the lyrics. Thus, new meanings need to produce to comprehend the song and its cultural context. This article aimed to deepen the comprehension of the song's message to result in an increased appreciation for art and a better understanding of the circumstances during the difficult times of the pandemic. The type of research conducted is qualitative research. In analysis, researchers used Riffaterre's Semiotics theory by identifying the Semiotic elements of the song, such as the use of metaphors and repetitions, then conducting heuristic reading and interpretation, and producing meaning through hermeneutic reading. The research findings indicate the discovery of meaning shifts in the form of metaphors and the creation of meaning through repetitions. In the heuristic analysis, ungrammatical elements like "من" (who) interrogative in conjunction with "إلاّ" (except) yield a new meaning that signifies a firm statement: "I bear witness." The global situation currently being affected by the COVID-19 pandemic also generates the meaning of earnestness in prayer and the high demand placed upon it. This represents the songwriter's response to the anxiety prevailing in society and signifies an increase in faith.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui guru profesional dalam persfektif K. H.  Hasyim Asy’ari serta relevansinya terhadap pendidikan saat ini. Kepribadain guru merupakan syarat utama untuk menjalankan tugas sebagai pendidik. Professional  wajib dimiliki oleh guru karena guru akan bertemu dengan berbagai macam karekter peserta didik, tugas guru diantaranya ialah memperbaiki karakter dan moral peserta didik. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kualitatif jenis kepustakaan (library research) yaitu jenis penelitian yang mengacu pada khazana kepustakaan seperti literatur buku, artikel maupun e-journal. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa kompetensi kepribadian menurut K. H. Hasyim Asy’ari yaitu: meluruskan niat (niat mencari ridho Allah), motivator, mencintai peserta didik, mempermudah peserta didik dalam memahami pelajaran, bersemangat ketika mengajar dan menguasi berbagai metode pengajaran, evaluasi, mentorship, berperilaku sama kepada semua peserta didik, monitoring prilaku peserta didik, guru berprilaku baik terhadap peserta didik, guru memberikan bantuan kepada siswa, guru memperhatikan kehadiran siswa, rendah hati dihadapan peserta didik, dan bertutur kata baik kepada peserta didik. Disamping itu juga terdapat keselarasan antara kitab adabul alim wa wal muta’alim dan Permendiknas no 14 tahun 2005 tentang keperibadian guru. Penjelasam Pasal 10 ayat (1) kompetensi keperibadian guru meliputi: keperibadian yang mantap, berakhlak mulia, arif dan berwibawa serta menjadi teladan peserta didik.

Abstract

The background of this research is the existence of contradictive from the imla rules regarding hamza qath'i and washli contained in the Indonesian standard Qur'anic manuscripts and researchers are trying to uncover these anomalies in surah al-Kahf. It is very unfortunate that the application of the imla rules of hamzah qath'i and washli is not taken into account by the Indonesian standard Qur'anic manuscripts, even though the hamzah qath'i and washli in the imla rules have a special place in the Arabic writing system. This deviation can cause the reader to get stuck in reading the verse, because there is no clear difference in writing between hamzah qath'i and wasli. The method used is descriptive qualitative approach method. Furthermore, the analytical method used is content analysis rules. From the results of the study it shows that in Surah al-Kahf in the Indonesian standard Mushaf there are 116 words that have deviations from the imla rules which are dominated by 52 isim, 44 fi'il and 20 letters. This is due to the preference of the state, printing and school of thought in writing of the Koran.
