Abstract

Sidoharjo Village has local potential in the form of abundant cashew fruit, but it is often wasted due to the lack of knowledge and skills of the community in processing it. This condition is both a problem and an opportunity for the economic empowerment of residents, especially housewives. This training activity aims to improve participants' skills and knowledge in processing cashew fruit into high-value snacks. The method applied involves hands-on practice and theory, including material selection, production techniques, and packaging. In addition, participants were also given training on marketing strategies, such as social media utilization and participation in local bazaars. The results of the training showed a significant improvement in participants' skills, with 70% of them successfully selling their products and recording an average income increase of 30-50%. The formation of joint business groups was done to ensure the sustainability of the program and encourage collaboration. The training not only had an impact on improving the family's economy, but also gave participants the motivation and confidence to be active entrepreneurs. Support from the government and local community is needed to expand the impact and ensure the sustainability of this local potential-based micro-enterprise. Overall, the program contributes to the optimization of local resources and strengthening the role of women in the community economy.

Abstract

The study's purpose was to investigate the effectiveness of Learning Strategy of Thinking Ability Improvement (SPPKB) application used to improve Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) of social study (IPS) students in economics learning. The research method used a quasi-experimental method with pretest-posttest control group design and effectiveness data analysis using a t-test. The research populations were 1-eleventh grade social study class (XI IPS 1) having 25 students as the experimental class and 2-eleventh grade social study (XI IPS 2) class having 27 students as the control class. The different treatment between the two classes was that in the experimental class applied the SPPKB model while the control class employed the conventional learning model. The study results reveal that the use of SPPKB has never been implemented in economics learning in the classroom. The effectiveness of using the SPPKB shows the values of the t-test results for Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) abilities with significance values of 0.000 <0.05. These results indicate that there is a significant influence on the SPPKB implementation to enhance students' Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) in economics learning.

Abstract

Pentingnya memahami kontribusi industri rumahan terhadap peningkatan kesejahteraan masyarakat desa, serta dampak sosial yang ditimbulkannya menjadi urgensi dilakukannya penelitian ini. Industri rumahan atau home industry memiliki peran penting dalam mendorong pertumbuhan ekonomi lokal, terutama di daerah pedesaan. Salah satu jenis industri tersebut adalah home industry anyaman bambu yang berkembang di Desa Ringinagung, Kecamatan Magetan, Kabupaten Magetan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan: (1) perkembangan home industry anyaman bambu di Desa Ringinagung, dan (2) dampaknya terhadap kehidupan sosial ekonomi masyarakat setempat. Metode yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif, dengan teknik pengumpulan data berupa wawancara mendalam, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Informan dalam penelitian ini terdiri dari pemilik usaha, karyawan, tokoh masyarakat, dan warga sekitar. Validitas data diperoleh melalui triangulasi sumber, sementara analisis data dilakukan menggunakan model interaktif dari Miles dan Huberman. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa keberadaan home industry anyaman bambu diinisiasi oleh salah satu warga desa sebagai upaya menciptakan lapangan kerja dan meningkatkan pendapatan keluarga. Perkembangan industri ini terlihat dari meningkatnya jumlah tenaga kerja, variasi produk, serta jangkauan pemasaran. Dampak positif yang dirasakan masyarakat meliputi tersedianya lapangan pekerjaan, peningkatan pendapatan, dan kesejahteraan hidup. Namun demikian, terdapat pula dampak negatif berupa lunturnya nilai-nilai sosial seperti pola hidup sederhana dan gotong royong. Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa home industry anyaman bambu memberikan dampak signifikan terhadap kehidupan sosial dan ekonomi masyarakat Desa Ringinagung

Abstract

The low levels of cooperation and honesty among Group B children at TK Rejosari, where 80% of students achieved only the One-Star level in developmental outcomes. The lack of group learning activities that incorporate local wisdom values further exacerbates this condition. This study aims to enhance children’s character traits of honesty and cooperation through the implementation of the traditional game Cublak-Cublak Suweng. The research employed Classroom Action Research (CAR), conducted over two cycles involving 20 Group B students. Data were collected through observation and documentation and analyzed descriptively. The results show a significant improvement in cooperative behavior, increasing from 7.5% in the initial condition to 35% in Cycle I, and reaching 80% in Cycle II. Honesty also improved, rising from 13.75% to 36.25% in Cycle I, and reaching 86.25% in Cycle II. The study concludes that the traditional game Cublak-Cublak Suweng is effective in fostering honesty and cooperation among early childhood learners. It recommends the integration of traditional games as a character education medium in early childhood education (ECE) settings.

Abstract

The phenomenon of final moral degradation is a concern expressed by the father of character education, Thomas Lickona. The development of character values through school culture can be practiced through leadership, exemplary, friendliness, tolerance, hard work, discipline, social care, environmental concern, a sense of nationality, nationalism, and responsibility. The formulation of the problems in this study: Gambus music extracurricular activities at MA Fatwa Alim Madiun, Internalization of character values through extracurricular activities of Gambus Music at MA Fatwa Alim Madiun, and Inhibiting and supporting factors for the internalization of character values through gambus music extracurricular activities at MA Fatwa Alim Madiun. This study aims to describe the internalization of character values that are focused on social character values through Gambus Music's extracurricular activities at MA Fatwa Alim. The research method used is qualitative, with data collection techniques in the form of observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of the study show that the extracurricular activities of gambus music at MA Fatwa Alim not only teach about the art of religious musical instruments but also a process of internalizing the character values of tolerance, responsibility, cooperation, and care for the environment. Character value internalization is through value transformation, transaction, and trans-internalization of character values. At the same time, the inhibiting and supporting factors of the process of internalizing character values are divided into two, namely internal factors and external factors.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dengan tujuan untuk menganalisis perilaku anomi siswa sebagai dampak alienasi dalam menghadapi pembelajaran daring mata pelajaran sosiologi. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan studi fenomenologis dengan mendeskripsikian pemaknaan umum dari sejumlah siswa terhadap cara berfikir dan perilakunya terkait perilaku anomi dalam pembelajaran daring. Penelitian dilakukan pada kelas XI IPS SMA Negeri 1 Sooko, Kabupaten Ponorogo mulai Oktober sampai Desember 2021. Teknik yang digunakan untuk menentukan subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah pusposive sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Sedangkan teknik analisis data yang digunakan yaitu analisis interaktif dari Miles dan Huberman. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa siswa dalam menghadapi pembelajaran daring mengalami alienasi dari proses pembelajaran, dari tujuan–tujuan pembelajaran, teralienasi dari sesama siswa, dan siswa teralienasi dari potensi yang mereka miliki. Manifestasi dari gejala aliensi yang dialami siswa adalah rasa malas, berat, dan tidak mau tahu atau acuh terhadap proses pembelajaran daring. Akibatnya siswa mengalami keadaan anomie dalam bentuk penyimpangan sosial atau perilaku non konformis. Gejalanya muncul kehilangan harapan dan berfikir ingin berhenti sekolah. Mereka mengalami frustasi dan menganggap sarana dan kesempatan untuk belajar dan menggapai cita-cita sudah tertutup karena perilaku dan tindakan mereka sendiri.

Abstract

Purpose - Industry 4.0 has brought about changes in a variety of fields, including education. Entrepreneurship education at the university level, in particular, must be capable of producing graduates capable of creating their employment opportunities and adapting to their surroundings. The purpose of this study is to describe and assess entrepreneurial practice learning and entrepreneurial literacy, as well as their impact on entrepreneurial readiness in the industry 4.0 era. Methodology - Responses were collected from 400 university students in Tulungagung Regency, East Java, who had taken the Entrepreneurship course. The students' responses were gathered using a questionnaire with Likert scale questions as the instrument. Findings - Data analysis using multiple linear regression revealed that entrepreneurial culture had a significant positive impact on preparation for entrepreneurship. Furthermore, entrepreneurial practice had a substantial positive impact on entrepreneurial readiness. Both entrepreneurial literacy and entrepreneurial practice significantly influenced entrepreneurial readiness. Significance - Entrepreneurial practice, in particular, made the greatest contribution to entrepreneurial readiness. This readiness can lead to the formation of long-term new ventures with the help of institutional infrastructure and business management guidance.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the influence of self-efficacy, learning interest, and family environment on learning outcomes. This research method is descriptive qualitative. The subjects were class X students. Data collection techniques used questionnaires and documentation. Data analysis techniques used are classical assumption testing, multiple regression analysis, and hypothesis testing. The research results show: 1) there is a significant influence between self-efficacy and learning outcomes, indicated by a coefficient value of 0.226, which means that every 0.226 increase in self-efficacy is accompanied by an increase in learning outcomes. 2) There is a significant influence between learning interest and learning outcomes, which indicated by a coefficient value of 0.221, means that every 0.221 increase in learning interest is accompanied by an increase in learning outcomes. 3) There is a significant influence between the family environment and learning outcomes, indicated by a coefficient value of 0.304, which means that every increase of 0.304 in the family environment is accompanied by an increase in learning outcomes. 4) Self-efficacy, learning interest, and the family environment simultaneously have a significant influence on the science learning outcomes. This shows that the higher the self-efficacy, interest in learning, and family environment, the higher the learning outcomes.

Abstract

This research examines the competence of social studies teachers in developing learning tools at public junior high schools in Madiun City. Using a qualitative descriptive approach, the research was conducted at 14 SMP Negeri Kota Madiun during the 2024/2025 academic year. The research focuses on three main aspects: ability to develop teaching modules, learning materials, and assessment designs according to the demands of the Merdeka Curriculum. The results show that social studies teachers have adequate capability in developing learning tools. In terms of teaching modules, teachers have developed modules based on Learning Objectives Pathways (ATP) with approaches focused on students' interests and talents. Regarding learning materials, teachers have developed contextual materials that address social issues in students' environments, using diverse teaching strategies and methods. In assessment aspects, teachers have implemented formative and summative assessments, conducting continuous and comprehensive evaluations. The main challenges include difficulties in formulating measurable learning objectives, developing contextual materials, and designing comprehensive assessments. Supporting factors for successful implementation include teacher creativity, student motivation, and school support, while the inhibiting factors include lack of understanding about the Merdeka Curriculum, limited training opportunities, and minimal supporting facilities.
