Abstract

Kesejahteraan psikologis merupakan aspek penting yang menentukan kualitas hidup individu. Taraf kesejahteraan psikologis dapat ditentukan oleh faktor internal dan eksternal. Dua dari faktor internal adalah efikasi diri dan perilaku prososial, sedangkan salah satu faktor eksternal adalah pola asuh autoritatif. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui peran pola asuh autoritatif, efikasi diri, dan perilaku prososial terhadap kesejahteraan psikologis pada remaja akhir. Subjek pada penelitian ini adalah 129 remaja akhir di Program Studi Pendidikan Dokter Gigi Fakultas Kedokteran Universitas Udayana. Instrumen pada penelitian ini adalah skala kesejahteraan psikologis, skala pola asuh autoritatif, skala efikasi diri, dan skala perilaku prososial. Hasil analisis regresi berganda menunjukkan bahwa pola asuh autoritatif, efikasi diri, dan perilaku prososial secara bersama-sama berperan terhadap kesejahteraan psikologis. Sumbangan efektif pola asuh autoritatif, efikasi diri, dan perilaku prososial terhadap kesejahteraan psikologis sebesar 66,6%. Koefisien beta terstandarisasi efikasi diri sebesar 0,669 (p<0,05), menunjukkan bahwa efikasi diri berperan secara signifikan terhadap kesejahteraan psikologis. Koefisien beta terstandarisasi perilaku prososial sebesar 0,178 (p<0,05), menunjukkan bahwa perilaku prososial berperan secara signifikan terhadap kesejahteraan psikologis. Koefisien beta terstandarisasi pola asuh autoritatif sebesar 0,104 (p>0,05), menunjukkan bahwa pola asuh autoritatif tidak berperan secara signifikan terhadap kesejahteraan psikologis.   Kata Kunci: kesejahteraan psikologis, pola asuh autoritatif, efikasi diri, perilaku prososial

Abstract

Self-regulated learning merupakan aspek mental yang sangat penting dalam kehidupan remaja yang sedang menuntut ilmu karena pada masa remaja terjadi banyak gejolak, seperti emosi, teman sebaya, identitas diri, dan kognitif. Self-regulated learning merupakan sebuah konsep bagaimana individu menjadi pengatur bagi belajarnya sendiri. Self regulated learning bukan aspek mental yang dibawa sejak lahir melainkan dipengaruhi oleh faktor internal dan eksternal. Bagaimana seseorang memandang dirinya serta bagaimana lingkungan memperlakukan seseorang sejak usia dini akan memengaruhi perkembangan Self regulated learning. Konsep diri merupakan salah satu faktor internal dan pola asuh autoritatif merupakan salah satu faktor eksternal yang memengaruhi Self regulated learning. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui peran pola asuh autoritatif dan konsep diri terhadap Self-regulated learning. Subjek penelitian berjumlah 220 siswa SMA yang terpilih melalui two stage cluster sampling. Hasil uji regresi berganda menunjukkan nilai R sebesar 0,587 dan R Square sebesar 0,344, yang berarti bahwa pola asuh autoritatif dan konsep diri secara bersama-sama berperan sebesar 34,4% terhadap Self regulated learning. Koefisien beta terstandarisasi dari pola asuh autoritatif sebesar 0,100 dan taraf signifikansi 0,107 (p>0,05) menunjukkan bahwa pola asuh autoritatif tidak berperan secara signifikan terhadap Self regulated learning. Koefisien beta terstandarisasi dari konsep diri sebesar 0,535 dan taraf signifikansi 0,000 (p<0,05) menunjukkan bahwa konsep diri berperan secara signifikan terhadap Self regulated learning. Abstract

  The self-concept is a very important mental aspect in a early adolescent’s life because it can influence their behavior. Self-concept is not innate, but rather influenced by environmental stimuli at an early age. Family condition is one of the environmental stimuli that can influence self-concept. In outside-the home life, the responses of peers while interacting also contribute significantly to the self-concept. This study aims to determine the roles of family harmony and peer acceptance to teenagers’ self-concept of Junior High School adolescent in Denpasar. Subjects in this study were 224 of Junior High School adolescent in Denpasar, represented by the State Junior High School 1 of Denpasar. Instruments in this study were self-concept scale, family harmony and scale of peer acceptance. The results of multiple regression analysis shows that R = 0.560 (F = 50.395, p <0.05), it can be stated that the harmony of the family and peer acceptance jointly contribute to the self-concept. Determination coefficient of 0.313 indicates that the effective contribution of family harmony and peer acceptance to the self-concept amounted to 31.3%. Standardized beta values on family harmony with the self-concept is 0.285 (p <0.05) whereas peer acceptance with the self-concept at 0.361 (p <0.05). Thus it can be stated the role of peer acceptance is greater than the harmony of the family for the self- concept.   Keywords: self-concept, family harmony, peer acceptance, junior high school adolescent

Abstract

Pada mahasiswa yang menjadi pengurus organisasi, dibutuhkan penyesuaian diri yang baik agar tercapai keseimbangan antara bidang akademik dengan organisasi. Tantangan yang dihadapi ketika melakukan penyesuaian diri adalah banyaknya hal baru yang harus disesuaikan secara bersamaan. Penyesuaian diri merupakan proses yang berlangsung secara terus-menerus sepanjang hidup individu. Aspek mental ini tidak dibawa sejak lahir, melainkan terbentuk karena banyak faktor. Penggunaan strategi problem focused coping memengaruhi individu untuk berfokus pada masalah sehingga penyelesaian masalah dapat dilakukan dengan baik dan terarah, hal ini berkontribusi terhadap penyesuaian diri yang baik. Konsep diri yang positif memengaruhi penyesuaian diri yang baik karena individu mengetahui tentang dirinya sehingga mampu mencapai keharmonisan antara diri dengan lingkungan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui peran problem focused coping dan konsep diri terhadap penyesuaian diri pada remaja akhir. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah 150 orang mahasiswa Fakultas Kedokteran Universitas Udayana angkatan 2015 yang menjadi pengurus organisasi kemahasiswaan di Fakultas Kedokteran Universitas Udayana. Instrumen penelitian ini adalah skala problem focused coping, skala konsep diri, dan skala penyesuaian diri. Hasil uji regresi berganda menghasilkan nilai R sebesar 0,728 (F=82.876; p<0,05) yang berarti problem focused coping dan konsep diri secara bersama-sama berperan terhadap penyesuaian diri. Koefisien determinasi yang dihasilkan sebesar 0,530 yang berarti problem focused coping dan konsep diri secara bersama-sama memiliki sumbangan efektif sebesar 53% terhadap penyesuaian diri. Problem focused coping memiliki nilai koefisien beta terstandarisasi sebesar 0,477 (t= 7,634; p<0,05) yang berarti problem focused coping memiliki peran yang siginifikan terhadap penyesuaian diri. Konsep diri memiliki nilai koefisien beta terstandarisasi sebesar 0,382 (t= 6,099; p<0,05) yang berarti konsep diri memiliki peran yang signifikan terhadap penyesuaian diri. Abstract

  Self-concept is an important factor in Adolescents. These mental aspects determine human behavior in every cycle of life. Self-concept weren’t born from lineage mental aspect but these are build and grow from human interactions with their environment naturally. Helping others is a human nature tendencies, individual has basic need to provide and seeking help. After provide a help, somebody would feel proud of what they have been done so that will improve their self valuation. Helping behavior shows by adolescents whom join Tim Bantuan Medis Janar Duta Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University. This research aim to find out the relation of helping behavior with self-concept in late adolescents. Subject in this research is late adolescents whom join Tim Bantuan Medis (TBM) Janar Duta Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University. Sample in this research is 84 persons. Instrument in this research used helping behavior scale and self-concept scale. Analysis method that used is product moment analysis technique from Pearson. Results shows correlation in this research is 0.690 (p=0.000). It is conclude that there is a significant positive correlation between helping behavior and self-concept whom join Tim Bantuan Medis (TBM) Janar Duta Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University.   Keywords: helping behavior, self concept, late adolescent

Abstract

Personal Adjustment is a process which includes all the individual behavior and mental response in harmonize needs and demands in which it is derived from the inside of individual as well as from the environment. The ability in personal adjustment is needed to help the individual in facing many changes and demands from the environment. Personal adjustment is needed for first-year students in facing the school’s transition, especially for the students who proceed their education in a boarding school. Personal adjustment is affected by the ability in managing the emotion and mental readiness to solve a problem without a help from others. This research is aimed to explore the role of autonomy and emotional intelligence to the personal adjustment in the first-year boarding students. The subjects were 125 boarding students in grade X of SMK Kesehatan Bali Medika Denpasar. The instrument in the research were personal adjustment scale, autonomy scale and emotional intelligence scale. The results of multiple regression analysis showed the value of R=0,783 (p<0,05) and R2=0,613, which concluded that the personal adjustment and emotional intelligence conjunctly contributes as much as 61,3% to the personal adjustment in th first-year boarding students. Standardized beta coefficient of autonomy showed the value of 0,296 (p<0,05), which concluded that the autonomy contribute to the personal adjustment. Standardized beta coefficient of emotional intelligence showed the value of 0,541 (p<0,05), which concluded that the emotional intelligence contribute to the personal adjustment.Keywords: autonomy, emotional intelligence, personal adjustment, boarding students, first-year

Abstract

Anxiety is a state of excessive tension is not in place, which is marked by feelings of worry, uncertain or afraid. Anxiety is able to influence health and emotional development, so it plays an important role in someone's life, even more in acceleration class which is always required high achievement. Parenting style adopted by parents determine the ability of adolescents to adapt to a variety of problems. Application of the authoritative parenting style characterized by warmth of parent-child relationship will greatly affect the ability of adolescents to overcome emotional problems. This study aims to determine the relationship between authoritative parenting style with acceleration students’ anxiety level. Subjects in this study were all acceleration students of SMAN 1 Denpasar. The instrument used in this study is the authoritative parenting scale and the scale of anxiety. The research data were analyzed by using product moment. The correlation coefficient between authoritative parenting style with the anxiety level is -0.268 (p = 0.035), thus can be mentioned that there was a negative relationship between authoritative parenting style with anxiety level. Abstract

Love intensity is an important element to build a commitment in a dating relationship. The success in building love intensity greatly influenced by someone’s experience with people around them included their parents. Authoritative parenting style that applied to their children influence their children’s love intensity in their relationship at late adolescent. Adolescent who has high self-monitoring increase their ability to adapt with social environment include to their boyfriend or girlfriend. The purpose of this research is to find out the role of authoritative parenting style and self-monitoring toward someone’s love intensity in a relationship at late adolescents in Faculty of Medicine Udayana University. Subjects in this research were 145 late adolescents who are dating in Faculty of Medicine Udayana University. The instruments in this research were love intensity scale, authoritative parenting style scale and self-monitoring scale. The result of multiple regression analysis shows R=0,307 (F=7,407; p<0,05) thus it can be stated that both authoritative parenting style and self-monitoring together contributes to love intensity in dating relationship. Determination coefficient = 0,094 which means the effective contribution of authoritative parenting style and self-monitoring to love intensity is 9,4%. The result of product moment correlation analysis shows correlation coefficient between authoritative parenting style and love intensity is 0,301 (p<0,05) which means that authoritative parenting style and love intensity have a positive correlation. While the result of product moment correlation analysis shows correlation coefficient between self-monitoring and love intensity is 0,154 (p<0,05) which means that self-monitoring and love intensity have a positive correlation. Abstract

Adjustment is an important mental aspects that determine a person's success in dealing with various problems in his life. The mental aspect is related to one's belief in the ability to control various obstacles and use your own potential. In addition, the mental aspect is also strongly associated with a positive response from the environment.The purpose of this research is to find out the role of self efficacy and peers social support toward personal adjustment in Medical School Udayana University. Subjects in this research were 137 first-year students Medical School Udayana University. The instruments in this research were self-efficacy scale, peers social support scale and personal adjustment scale. The result of multiple regression analysis shows R=0,605 (F=38,776; p<0,05) thus it can be stated that both self-efficacy and peers social support together contributes to personal adjustment. Determination coefficient = 0,367, which means the effective contribution of self-efficacy and peers social support to personal adjustment is 36,7%. Standardized beta coefficient of self-efficacy is 0,457 (t=5,935; p<0,05) thus it can be stated self-efficacy contribute to personal adjustment. Standardized beta coefficient of peers social support is 0,242 (t=3,141; p<0,05) thus it can be stated peers social support contribute to personal adjustment.
