Abstract

Abstract

The absence of quality spending become the main reason for government failed to provide multiplier in achieving its economic objectives. The phenomenon of budgetary slack will be likely to occur if there is no any standard to control government expenditure's success. This study aims to provide a method to identify the effectiveness of government budget by Comparing Sustainable Development Indicators as outcome and government expenditure relative to its economy as output. We also measure the rasio of government expenditure to its revenue sources as indicators of budget efficiency. Using 2021 data of SDGs indicators and government budget (both at central and regional or province government level) we found that both at the national and regional levels, the spending had been quite effective. Meanwhile for the level of budget efficiency, the central government is quite efficient, while some of regional governments were not.

Abstract

During the pandemic, educational institutions closed schools, campuses and the learning process was carried out without face-to-face in class, then along with the pandemic disaster, many innovators created learning facilities without having to be in classrooms by utilizing information technology, namely internet connections with computer networks. The goal is to take advantage of the advantages of both methods. Hybrid learning has advantages and disadvantages, namely: (1) Flexibility: Provides convenience for students to arrange learning schedules according to their needs; (2) Diverse learning experiences: Combining traditional approaches and the latest technology; (3) Digital skills development: Encourage learners to be more skilled in using technology. The research method used is research and development (R & D), which is a basic research activity to obtain information on user needs (needs assessment), then continued with development (development). From the analysis of the data obtained, that the hybrid learning program (combination) of online and face-to-face learning in the classroom has a positive effect on learning outcomes. The hybrid learning method, which integrates aspects of online with face-to-face learning, remains relevant even outside of pandemic conditions with various justifications. Hybrid learning programs, which combine online and face-to-face learning, have a positive influence on learning outcomes. Hybrid learning offers a variety of advantages, including flexibility, enriching learning experiences, adapting to student needs, mastery of technology, preparation for the future, personalized learning, balance of life and learning, cost and resource savings, and promoting collaboration and networking.

Abstract

This research project is expected to develop and test an AI-based Learning Management System (LMS) contents which can promote Self-regulated learning (SRL) with secondary school mathematics students. Considering that conventional LMS have shortcomings in relation to adaptive learning, and given the increasing significance of SRL, this study bridges that gap by proposing new AI-based LMS for mathematics at high school level. Utilizing a Research and Development model combined with an embedding quasi-experiment design of 94 students, the project developed AI-enhanced LMS-based content that included; personalization, adaptive difficulty, AI tutor intervention, and asynchronous administration. The findings reveal that the AI-based LMS content was effective on math students N-Gain scores compared to traditional instruction learning but with small effect sizes. In addition, students employed the AI LMS at moderate-high SRL levels in most of its components (i.e., goal setting, self-evaluation and help seeking). What is new in this work is the development per se (using AI) of LMS content for mathematics to help support SRL, while also taking into account multi-device and user-friendly considerations. Operationally, this AI-LMS system provides a student-centric and flexible learning environment that can help students develop self-regulation of learning to promote engagement and achievement in mathematics. The unique contribution of this study is a validated AI-oriented LMS model that closes the distance between AI promise and SRL requirements in secondary mathematics education.

Abstract

This research aims to measure and compare the moral hazard behaviour of micro and small enterprises’ debtors within Purwokerto area on Productive Business Loan scheme. This scheme was choosen because of the highest Non Performing Loan (NPL) among others. The data were collected from 127 debitors by using simple random sampling technique. Rating scale method was used to measure the moral hazard behaviours of debtors through questionnaire and later comparing them to study how serious the noncompliance rate in repaying off their credits. This research finds that (1) Generally, the moral hazard behaviour tends to be medium-to-high, (2) The highest moral hazard should be attributed to debitors in Purbalingga followed by those in Banjarnegara, Purwokerto, and Cilacap. Then, it suggests that (1) all bank branches need to pay more attentions to their debitors because their moral hazard behaviours have been medium-to-high. (2) Each branch needs to apply specific treatments to the debitors to improve debitors’ installments, i.e building lending relationship as one way of exploring soft information which emphasizes informal approaches, (3) It should be important to design integrated training and practices for bank officers in order to build up their sense of psychological skills in public relationship in order to handle, in turn, those risky debtors.
