Abstract

The process of recruiting new employees at PT. BPD Jambi is currently still using the manual method where PT. BPD Jambi provides an assessment for the recruitment of prospective employees which is still done manually so that all data on the selection of prospective new employees do not have a fixed weight, and mistakes often occur so that there are prospective employees who do not meet the standards of passing the selection process. The purpose of this study is to analyze the current system in employee recruitment at PT BPD Jambi and design a decision support system for employee recruitment at PT BPD Jambi with the simple additive weighting (SAW) method. Analysis and design of the employee acceptance decision support system using this web-based simple additive weigthing (SAW) method using object-based modeling techniques to describe system analysis and design, namely in the form of use case diagrams, activity diagrams, and class diagrams. The output of this research is in the form of a prototype system design. Abstract

The information system used to support the performance of a company / organization / agency has become something important. The information system that is utilized or developed should be able to provide added value or benefit to the company / organization / agency in achieving its objectives. In order for the information system currently in use to provide added value, it is necessary to have a good plan based on an analysis of the business environment and the information system environment being carried out. Currently, LPMP Provinsi Jambi does not yet have an information system strategic planning so that the development of information systems is still conditional. Therefore, a research was conducted to compile a strategic planning for information systems in LPMP Provinsi Jambi. This study uses the Ward and Peppard method with tools to analyze both the business environment and the information system environment. The tools used for this method are SWOT Analysis, PEST Analysis, Value Chain Analysis, Mc Farlan's Grid Portfolio. The final result of this research is a document of strategic planning information system of LPMP Provinsi Jambi. This document is expected to be part of the LPMP Provinsi Jambi strategic planning.

Abstract

In blood donor services, the Indonesian Red Cross (PMI) of Jambi City found problems like information regarding the blood stocks and blood donors availability is difficult to obtain, blood donor services dissemination is slow and high doubt of patients about the quality of blood. The research objective is to analyze and design the information system for blood donor services using the PHP language programming and MySQL database. Furthermore, the research methodology used the waterfall model and the unified model language system using use-case diagrams, activity diagrams, and class diagrams. The conclusion of the system can display the donor data, blood donor data, information data, forum data in structured and display the required reports. The research suggests that the prototype of this system needs to develop well and correctly so that it can be applied to the Indonesian Red Cross (PMI) of Jambi City

Abstract

Acceptance of new students in MAN 2 Jambi City is about 2 registration lanes namely the test path and the non test path. Reception of new students is always at school every year. However, the limitations of school facilities and infrastructure make it unable to accommodate all prospective students who have just registered, for this reason it is necessary to select the admission of new students. In this study, the authors approve computer-based decision support systems. This decision support system only supports limited assistance or provides recommendations in decisions not to support the decision maker's job. This new student selection decision support method was built using 2 methods, the SAW and WP methods. Then it is designed using case diagrams, activity diagrams and class diagrams.

Abstract

Based on the results of a survey conducted by the author of 20 correspondents from outside the city of Jambi, information was obtained that 70% of people outside the city of Jambi still find it difficult to get information on health facilities in the city of Jambi and also 65% of people outside the city of Jambi are still asking the surrounding community for information. Information on routes, addresses and health facilities in the city of Jambi. Problems like this are a difficult obstacle for the community because they have to spend their time only to find out information on health facilities in the city of Jambi. This research framework consists of problem identification, literature study, data collection, systems analysis, prototype design, and report preparation. This study uses the UML (Unified Modeling Language) modeling tool and produces a prototype that can provide information related to Jambi's health facilities that can be accessed easily using an android-based smartphone.

Abstract

To diagnose vertigo, knowledge of a disease specialist is needed, namely a Neurologist. Most people are still often difficult to directly see a specialist doctor and how to choose the right course of action for people with vertigo. The developed system is an expert system to diagnose vertigo using the Dempster Shafer method, which is to find the diagnosis of vertigo. Expert systems are computer-based systems that use knowledge, facts, and reasoning techniques in solving problems that can usually only be solved by an expert in that field. Diagnosis is done by analyzing the input of symptoms in the form of a choice of symptoms in accordance with what is experienced by the patient. Each symptom has been given a value obtained from an expert who then input the selected symptoms are processed and calculated using the Dempster Shafer formula.

Abstract

The Batang Hari Regency Housing and Settlement Area Office continues to reduce the number of uninhabitable homes through the Self-Help Housing Stimulant Assistance Program (BSPS). In selecting / selecting potential recipients of assistance it takes a long time because it has not been properly systemized. The purpose of this study is to analyze and design a decision support system for recipients of self-help housing stimulant programs in the Housing and Settlement Area of Batang Hari Regency by identifying its weaknesses and then analyzing the needs of the decision support system so that later it can help the head of the office to be taken into consideration in determine the recipient of the BSPS program.

Abstract

This research is aimed to decide major for students of SMK Swasta Pelita Raya Jambi. The interest of major is implemented when students are in the tenth grade and will move to eleventh grade. The process of major determination will be occurred repeatedly every year. This research will conduct Clustering by using the data of students of SMK Swasta Pelita Raya Jambi and utilize the science of mining data, Algorithm K-Means Clustering. Algorithm K-Means Clustering in this research is limited applying with using the mining tools data, Rapid Miner Studio. Clustering is the group of record, observation, or case in the similar object classes. The result of algorithm K-Means Means in this research produces a solution or a reference for dividing apprenticeship place that is suitable for interest and talent of students in the eleventh grade of Multimedia and Accounting.

Abstract

Education has a very important role in people's lives, but the huge cost of education is an obstacle formany people to be able to continue their education. The government provides educational assistancethrough the assistance of one student's scholarship. Therefore it is necessary to build a Decision SupportSystem (SPK) to solve the problem. In determining the acceptance of scholarships, there are many criteriathat must be owned by individuals as a condition in getting a scholarship. Each school must have criteriato determine who will be selected to receive a scholarship. Distribution of scholarships is done by severalinstitutions to help someone who is less capable or achievers during their studies. To help determine whois eligible to receive a scholarship, a decision support system is needed. In this study, a case will beraised, namely finding the best alternative based on predetermined criteria using the SAW (SimpleAdditive Weighting) method. The study was conducted by finding the weight value for each attribute,then the ranking process was carried out which would determine the optimal alternative, namely the beststudents.

Abstract

Adiwangsa Jambi University, is a change in form and an increase in status of Stikes Prima Jambi.Adiwangsa Jambi University (UNAJA) located on St. Sergeant Muslim RT. 24 Coffee Plantation Exit ThehokSouth Jambi Jambi City. Has 5 faculties including the Faculty of Health & Pharmacy, Faculty ofEngineering & Computer Science, Teacher Training & Education Faculty, Faculty of Economics, andFaculty of Law. some new students who register are still confused with the choice of concentration of studyprograms at Adiwangsa University Jambi. Errors in the selection of this study program will have anunfavorable impact when the student follows a course that is taught, among others, understanding thematerial and there are also less capable of the subjects he took. To overcome these problems researchersconduct research with the aim of designing a prototype system to support the selection of study programsthat will later solve existing problems.
