Abstract

Pelaksanaan Program Kemitraan Masyarakat (PKM) pada alumni di Fakultas Seni dan Desain, bertujuan untuk meningkatkan dan mengembangkan kompetensi pada bidang praktik khususnya pembuatan Alat Jilid Buku Berbasis Rumahan. Metode dalam pelatihan ini dilaksanakan secara tutorial dengan pendekatan terbimbing dengan cara menjelaskan, memperaktikkan dan merakit produk serta mengevaluasi. Kompetensi utama yang diharapkan dalam pelatihan ini ialah kemapuan praktik kerja alumni melalui: kemampuan menerjemahkan prototype benda kerja (contoh produk), kemampuan menggunakan alat semi masinal pada setiap bagian produk, kemampuan kerja pada setiap bagian produk dan kemampuan melakukan finising dengan menggunakan lapisan pinil. Proses pelatihan dilakukan dengan cara pembuatan pola, memotong pola produk, pengamplasan dan perakitan produk. Adapun proses evaluasi yang dilakukan ialah setiap peserta melakukan perakitan produk melalui rangkaian satu, dua, dan tiga sesuai desain produk alat jilid buku, kemudian dinilai dengan menggunakan indikator produk yang sudah ditentukan sebelumnya yakni: ketepatan bentuk, tingkat presisi produk dan kehalusan dalam menggunakan pinil. Kesimpulan yang didapatkan dari pelatihan ini ialah peserta pelatihan pembuatan alat jilid buku secara umum berjalan dengan baik sesuai yang diharapkan yakni peserta melakukan kerja praktik dan menghasilkan produk alat jilid buku secara individu, adanya produk alat jilid buku yang dibuat secara semi-masinal dan masih terdapatnya kekurangan dari sisi tingkat ketepan dimensi produk alat jilid buku. Abstract

The advancement of information technology has driven the digitalization of the MSME sector; however, most businesses still rely on manual systems that are inefficient and prone to errors. This issue is also encountered by Laundry Hasanah MSME in Berau Regency in managing its service operations. Therefore, this study aims to develop and implement a service information system based on Visual Basic for Applications (VBA) to improve data processing efficiency and enhance service quality, which is expected to have a significant impact on the business sustainability of Laundry Hasanah. The development and design method employed in this study and community service activity is the Waterfall model, consisting of the stages of analysis, design, implementation, and testing. The implementation results indicate that the system is capable of accelerating the recording process, reducing errors, and improving service quality in a more effective and accurate manner. Based on the design and implementation of the VBA based laundry service information system, it can be concluded that the application was systematically designed and developed in accordance with the Waterfall model. Each stage, from requirements analysis to maintenance, was carried out sequentially and consistently, ensuring that the development process was structured, controlled, and capable of minimizing potential errors.

Abstract

The rapid growth of digital technology has profoundly influenced children, shaping their cognitive, social, and emotional development. Technology offers many benefits, such as greater access to information and learning opportunities. However, poor supervision can lead to numerous problems, including screen addiction, social issues, and mental health disorders. This community service project was designed to educate parents on both the positive and negative impacts of digital technology in children's lives and to equip them with the skills needed to guide their children toward healthy technology use. Teaching sessions, case-based training, and interactive forums formed the core of the program's curriculum. To evaluate the program’s effectiveness, we conducted interviews and surveys with participants to assess changes in their knowledge and how effectively they applied the strategies taught. The results were encouraging: parents showed increased awareness of the impact of digital media on their children's lives and gained better control over the amount of screen time their children spent. Overall, the program successfully raised parental awareness about the importance of actively assisting and guiding children in the use of technology.
