Abstract

The movement of the stock market index is a barometer of economic growth, and can be used to make investment decisions. Many factors influence the movement of a stock index, particularly from the macroeconomic perspective. This study analyzes the effects of BI rate, exchange rate, and inflation on the Composite Stock Price Index (CSPI). This research is a quantitative descriptive study conducted on food and beverage companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) during the 2018-2022 period. Sixty companies were sampled and analyzed using multiple linear regression tests. Hypothesis testing uses the R2 (coefficient of determination) test, F, and t-tests. The results show that BI and exchange rates have a partially significant effect on CSPI. Inflation did not have a significant effect on the CSPI. However, simultaneous testing showed that the three variables affected the CSPI.

Abstract

Timeliness of financial reporting is an important indicator in assessing a company because it can provide accurate information for users of financial statements. This phenomenon is influenced by various internal and external factors. This study analyzes the effects of profitability, firm size, and ownership structure on financial reporting timeliness. This quantitative descriptive study was conducted on food and beverage companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) in the 2018-2021 period. Twelve companies were sampled and analyzed using multiple linear regression tests. Hypothesis testing uses the R2 (coefficient of determination) test, F test, and t test. The results show that partial profitability and ownership structure have no effect on the timeliness of financial reporting. Firm size only had a significant effect. However, profitability, firm size, and ownership structure simultaneously affected the timeliness of financial reporting (94.2%). Future studies should use other variables as predictors

Abstract

This research investigates the effectiveness of counseling methods, incorporating seminar models and PowerPoint presentations, in enhancing students’ knowledge and preparedness for fire emergency response at Universitas Prima Indonesia. A quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental, one-group pretest-posttest design was employed, involving 78 students from the Public Health Bachelor Program. The intervention comprised four counseling sessions covering basic fire knowledge, preparedness steps, emergency actions, and the use of firefighting equipment. Data was collected through questionnaires administered before and after the intervention, assessing students' knowledge of fire extinguishers, hydrants, fire alarms, assembly points, emergency exits, and emergency stairs. The results indicated a significant positive impact, with post-test scores for both knowledge and preparedness substantially higher than pre-test scores (p < 0.001). Before the intervention, only 25.6% of participants demonstrated good knowledge, while after the intervention, 97.4% achieved this level. Similarly, preparedness levels significantly increased, with 97.4% of participants feeling ready after the intervention compared to only 19.2% before. The study underscores the effectiveness of the implemented counseling methods and supports the recommendation for continuous fire safety education to ensure sustained preparedness.

Abstract

Di Indonesia, terdapat berbagai marketplace online yang sudah dikenal luas oleh masyarakat. Salah satu e-commerce yang kini semakin populer adalah TikTok, yang telah berkembang menjadi platform social commerce. Fitur ini memungkinkan pengguna dan kreator untuk mempromosikan serta menjual produk mereka secara langsung melalui aplikasi TikTok. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji pengaruh dari faktor advertising, promosi penjualan, dan word of mouth terhadap keputusan pembelian konsumen di kota Medan yang menggunakan TikTok sebagai platform belanja. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah semua pelaku usaha yang memanfaatkan TikTok sebagai media promosi, meskipun jumlah pastinya tidak diketahui. Karena itu, teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan rumus Lemeshow, menghasilkan 96 sampel penelitian. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Advertising berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap keputusan pembelian konsumen di Medan yang menggunakan TikTok. Demikian pula, promosi penjualan dan word of mouth memiliki pengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap keputusan pembelian. Secara simultan, ketiga variabel ini Advertising, Promosi Penjualan, dan Word of Mouth memiliki pengaruh signifikan terhadap keputusan pembelian konsumen di kota Medan melalui platform TikTok.

Abstract

Perawat merupakan aset yang sangat berharga bagi fasilitas medis sehingga kinerja mereka berpengaruh dalam membantu fasilitas dalam mencapai tujuan kinerja secara keseluruhan. Studi kuantitatif ini menggunakan desain cross-sectional yang dilakukan di salah satu puskesmas yang termasuk wilayah Kota Medan selama bulan Agustus 2020. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh pegawai puskesmas yang berjumlah 46 tenaga kesehatan yang keseluruhannya diikutsertakan sebagai subjek penelitian (total sampling). Pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini menggunakan kuesioner. Hasil penelitian dianalisis dengan menggunakan uji Chi square (α=0,05). Hasil studi menunjukkan bahwa gaya kepemimpinan (p=0,001), motivasi (p=0,000) dan beban kerja (p=0,000) berhubungan signifikan dengan kinerja perawat.

Abstract

Studi ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh promosi dan saluran distribusi terhadap keputusan pembelian alat kedokteran gigi. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kuantitatif dengan melibatkan sebanyak 117 dokter gigi sebagai sampel penelitian. Adapun uji yang digunakan adalah regresi linier berganda. Sebelum dilakukan uji regresi, peneliti melakukan uji asumsi klasik seperti uji normalitas, uji multikolinieritas, dan uji heteroskedastisitas. Pengujian hipotesis menggunakan uji R2, uji F, dan uji t. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa promosi dan saluran distribusi secara parsial berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap keputusan pembelian alat-alat kedokteran gigi. Promosi dan saluran distribusi secara simultan berpengaruh positif terhadap keputusan pembelian alat-alat kedokteran gigi. Hasil uji koefisien determinasi menunjukkan 65,8% dari variabel dependen keputusan pembelian yang dapat dijelaskan oleh variabel independen promosi dan saluran distribusi sedangkan sisanya 34,2% dijelaskan oleh variabel lain.

Abstract

Fenomena keputusan pembelian produk Nike mengalami penurunan disebabkan oleh produk, harga dan promosi. Studi ini memiliki tujuan dalam pengujian dan menganalisis pengaruh produk, harga dan promosi terhadap keputusan pembelian produk Nike. Metodologi penelitian adalah kuantitatif. Pengambilan sampel penelitian dengan menggunakan rumus lemeshow disebabkan populasi penelitian tidak diketahui jumlahnya dengan jumlah 73 Mahasiswa Unpri di Kota Medan yang membeli Produk Nike. Kuesioner dan dokumentasi dimanfaatkan sebagai pengumpulan data. Simpulan dalam studi bahwa secara serempak dan individual produk, harga dan promosi berkontribusi positif dan signifikan terhadap keputusan pembelian produk Nike.
