Abstract

The purpose of this study is to examine the effect of the work environment on employee work effectiveness at the Onohazumba Subdistrict Office, South Nias Regency, using a regression analysis method. The regression equation used is Y = 44.839 + (-0.095X). The results of the study show that (1) the work environment variable (X) has a positive and significant effect on employee work effectiveness (Y), with a t-value of 2.486 > t-table value of 1.701; therefore, the statistical hypothesis test is accepted. (2) The contribution of the influence is quite large, with a coefficient of determination (R²) of 0.352 or 35.2%, indicating that 35.2% of the variance in employee performance can be explained by the work environment variable, while the remaining 64.8% is attributed to other factors (ε). Thus, it can be concluded that the research hypothesis stating that there is an effect of the work environment (X) on employee work effectiveness (Y) is proven to be true. To improve employee work effectiveness, managerial interventions aimed at enhancing the work environment are important to achieve organizational goals

Abstract

Community service conducted by Universitas Nias Raya is implemented through the Community Service Program (Kuliah Kerja Nyata/KKN). The main objectives of this activity are to carry out community service, provide students with real-life experience in social life, strengthen relationships between the university and local government and communities, and support the availability of village data or profiles through identification and analysis that can be utilized for village development planning aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The KKN program was carried out in several villages in West Nias Regency, one of which was Sisobawino II Village, Lolofitu Moi Subdistrict, from July 12 to August 25, 2025. Sisobawino II Village is known to have shown relatively good development in social, economic, and technological aspects. The implementation of the KKN program began with village observations to identify potentials and issues that became the main focus of the program. The KKN activities were systematically designed through discussions involving the KKN student group, village officials, and the local community. The stages of implementation included planning, execution, and final evaluation. The results achieved included the development of agricultural land, provision of waste bins, installation of decorative flags (umbul-umbul), tutoring assistance for elementary school students, mutual cooperation activities (gotong royong), and participation in enlivening the celebration of the Independence Day of the Republic of Indonesia on August 17, 2025.

Partially test the hypothesis of sales promotion as an independent variable with a t-count value of 3.134 with a significant level of 0.000 > t-table 1.667. Thus it can be concluded that partially sales promotion influences consumer buying interest at UD. Samadaya. Based on the results of the study, it showed that the t value was 3.134 > 1.667 and a significant level was 0.000 <0.05, meaning that the sales promotion variable (X) had a positive and significant effect on the consumer purchasing interest variable at UD . Abstract

This study aims to identify and describe the implementation of transactional leadership style at the Rural Development Savings and Loan Cooperative (KSP3) Nias. Transactional leadership is an approach that emphasizes exchanges between leaders and subordinates through a system of rewards and supervision to achieve organizational targets. This research employs a descriptive quantitative method with a single variable. The population consists of all leaders at KSP3 Nias, totaling 36 individuals. The sampling technique used is saturated sampling (census), in which the entire population serves as respondents. Data were collected through questionnaires that had been tested for validity and reliability, supported by observation and documentation. The data analysis technique used is descriptive statistical analysis by calculating the mean score and frequency distribution. The results show that the implementation of transactional leadership at KSP3 Nias falls into the High category, with an average score of 3.55. Specifically, the Contingent Reward indicator is the most dominant dimension, with a score of 4.25 (Very High), followed by Active Management by Exception with a score of 4.10 (High). Meanwhile, the Passive Management by Exception indicator falls into the Low category (2.30), indicating that leaders are responsive and not passive in addressing operational challenges. The conclusion of this study is that the leaders of KSP3 Nias have implemented firm and measurable leadership principles in maintaining cooperative stability. However, it is recommended that they begin integrating a transformational leadership approach to enhance employees’ long-term loyalty beyond material aspects.
