Abstract

This article explores the maximization of marketing strategies to enhance market share amid declining demand, specifically focusing on the micro, small, and medium enterprise (MSME) UD. Murni. The rapid economic growth in Indonesia has intensified competition, particularly following the COVID-19 pandemic, leading to operational and sales challenges for many MSMEs. This research employs linear programming through graphical methods to develop a mathematical model aimed at efficiently allocating resources in sandal and shoe production to maximize profits. The study identifies key issues faced by UD. Murni, including a lack of adaptation to online marketing trends and changing consumer preferences. By implementing innovative marketing strategies, particularly digital marketing, the research aims to improve product visibility and customer engagement, ultimately increasing sales and market share for UD. Murni.

Abstract

Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs), especially SFY Eau de Parfume, have an important role in supporting the Indonesian national economy. MSMEs contribute more than 60% to Gross Domestic Product (GDP) and provide employment for more than 90% of the workforce in Indonesia. SFY Eau de Parfume is one of the players in the fragrance industry that produces high-quality perfumes at affordable prices. However, this company faces various challenges in facing tight competition, such as rapid changes in consumer preferences, limited capital, limited access to technology, and the need to create innovative marketing strategies. This study aims to identify internal and external factors that affect the performance of SFY Eau de Parfume in facing competition in the perfume market. The focus of the analysis includes challenges in marketing, operational, and product innovation aspects. The results of this study are expected to provide applicable strategic recommendations for SFY Eau de Parfume to improve competitiveness, operational efficiency, and business sustainability. Through the use of digital technology and consumer-based marketing approaches, companies are expected to expand market reach, understand consumer needs more deeply, and develop innovative products to meet evolving consumer preferences.

Abstract

Employees are important assets in achieving success, enabling a company to compete and reach its goals. Therefore, companies strive to address employee needs as much as possible to avoid employee turnover. However, this phenomenon remains unavoidable over time, due to various factors. For instance, turnover can be triggered by employees' feelings of insecurity regarding their careers and a lack of commitment to carrying out the company’s mission. The aim of this study is to analyze the relationship between Job Insecurity and Organizational Commitment with Turnover Intention at PT Hilon Sumatera. This study also seeks to examine the effect of Job Insecurity and Organizational Commitment on employee turnover in the company. The research was conducted using a quantitative method with an associative approach. Data were collected by distributing questionnaires to 97 employees using a purposive sampling technique, supported by secondary data such as various books and previous research. The data were analyzed using instrument tests, classical assumption tests, multiple linear regression, and hypothesis testing as tools for data interpretation. The results of the study show that Job Insecurity and Organizational Commitment have a significant influence on changes in Turnover Intention, with correlation levels of 80.2% and 63.5%, respectively. The higher the job insecurity experienced by employees, the higher the turnover intention of employees, The higher the organizational commitment of employees, the lower the turnover intention of employees. Conversely, the lower the organizational commitment of employees, the higher the turnover intention of employees. Job Insecurity and Organizational Commitment have a significant influence on Turnover Intention among employees at PT Hilon Sumatera. Employee turnover can be reduced by minimizing or even eliminating employees' feelings of insecurity at work and by enhancing their organizational commitment.

Abstract

The currently beauty products have become one of the primary needs, apart from being used to enhance appearance to make them look more beautiful and attractive, the use of beauty products has also become a lifestyle which is now increasing considered to increase self-cinfidence when using them. In fact,sometimes they don’t hesitate to spend more to get a quality product. There are numerous factors that impact the decisions customers make when it comes to purchasing products and choosing a particular brand, including product quality and pricing. Scarlett must take both of these factors into account in order to effectively compete with other companies. The objective of this study is to examine the impact of product quality and pricing on Scarlett's purchasing choices among consumers in the city of Medan. The connection between the price of a product and its quality will be analyzed in part and at the same time to gain insight into its impact on consumer buying choices. The research employed a quantitative methodology combined with an associative technique. Participants were chosen through purposive sampling, with a sample size of 100 individuals. Throughout the research, the main information was gathered through interviews, questionnaires, and Google Forms, while secondary data was collected from research papers. The analysis included validity and reliability tests, as well as classic assumption, regression, and hypothesis tests. The findings indicate that product quality and pricing are important factors influencing the purchasing decisions of individuals in Medan city. The test of coefficient determination indicates a relatively strong connection between product quality and price in influencing purchasing choices, with an R value of 0.782. The adjusted R square value reveals that product quality and price play a significant role in determining 69.9% of the purchasing decisions, leaving 30.1% to be influenced by other factors not explored in this research.

Abstract

The development of a company is highly dependent on the performance of the human resources in the company. Situational leadership possessed by the company's leaders and the motivation and job satisfaction possessed by employees are important factors that can improve the company's overall performance. However, there has been a decline in employee performance at PTPN IV Regional II Marihat Unit in recent times. This is due to the lack of attention and appreciation given by the leadership and the lack of motivation and job satisfaction from employees. The form of this research is quantitative with a sample size of 40 respondents who are also the population in this study. Primary data in this study were obtained by distributing questionnaires directly and secondary data were obtained through literature studies. The results of this study indicate that situational leadership (X1), work motivation (X2), job satisfaction (X3) have a significant effect both partially and simultaneously on employee performance at the Central Office of PT Perkebunan Nusantara IV Regional II Kebun Marihat Unit. The determination coefficient test shows that there is a close relationship between situational leadership (X1), work motivation (X2), job satisfaction (X3) and employee performance with an R value of 0.971. Through the adjusted R square value, it is also known that the variables of situational leadership (X1), work motivation (X2), job satisfaction (X3) contribute 93,7% to the employee performance variable, while the remaining 6,3% is influenced by other variables outside this research model.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze how knowledge sharing, organization, and work discipline influence work performance among employees at Bank Sumut Medan Imam Bonjol. The influence of knowledge sharing, organization, and work discipline will be analyzed both partially and simultaneously on work performance. The form of research used in this study is quantitative research with an associative approach. The population in this study comprises all employees at the PT Bank Sumut Medan Imam Bonjol office, totaling 33 people, with sampling techniques using saturated sampling. Primary data used in this study were obtained by distributing questionnaires directly, while secondary data were obtained through literature studies. The data analysis methods used are instrument tests, classical assumption tests, multiple linear regression analysis, and hypothesis testing. The results showed that knowledge sharing, organization, and work discipline had a positive and significant effect both partially and simultaneously on work performance at PT Bank Sumut Medan Imam Bonjol. The correlation coefficient (R) value is 0.943, which means that there is a relationship between the variables of Knowledge Sharing (X1), Organization (X2), and Work Discipline (X3) on Work Performance (Y) of 94.3%, indicating a very close relationship between these variables. The Adjusted R Square value of 0.878, or the coefficient of determination, shows that the variables of Knowledge Sharing (X1), Organization (X2), and Work Discipline (X3) explain 87.8% of the variation in Work Performance (Y), while the remaining 12.2% is influenced by other factors outside this research model.

Abstract

One of the factors that affect employee performance is the Work From Home (WFH) work system and work discipline, BPJS Ketenagakerjaan Cabang Medan Kota is a public legal entity that implements the WFH policy during 2021 to 2022, In the implementation of WFH there is a problem, namely the decline in target achievement in 2021. This study aims to analyze how the influence of WFH and work discipline on the performance of employees of BPJS Ketenagakerjaan Cabang Medan Kota. The effect of WFH and work discipline was analyzed simultaneously and partially on employee performance. The form of research used is quantitative research with an associative approach. The sample in this study used a saturated sample where there were 50 respondents who were sampled. The data analysis method used is validity test, reliability test, classical assumption test, multiple linear regression analysis, and hypothesis testing. The results showed that WFH and work discipline had a positive effect partially or simultaneously on employee performance. This means that the better the WFH work system and work discipline, the better the performance of BPJS Ketenagakerjaan Cabang Medan Kota.

Abstract

Employees must work optimally and efficiently so that the company can have a high productive level. The achievement of company targets will certainly affect the rewards that employees receive by following the SOPs that have been prepared by the company. This has good intentions because it is directly proportional to the maximum compensation that employees will get as the best human resources. This study aims to analyze how the influence of competence, compensation and the application of standard operating procedures on the work productivity of employees at PT. Riau Media Television. This study uses a quantitative research method with a causal associative approach. The population in this study are employees of PT. Riau Media Television, with a sample of 36 respondents. The results showed that the variables of competency, compensation and implementation of standard operating procedures had a simultaneous effect on employee work productivity with a level of influence of 67.2%, while the remaining 32.8% was influenced by other variables not discussed in this study.

Abstract

Performance is the result of work achievement based on responsibility in achieving the goals of a company or organization which can be measured based on quality and quantity. The research method used in this research is quantitative research with an associative approach. Sampling was carried out using probability sampling techniques with a simple random sampling model, using the Slovin formula, totaling 61 respondents. The results of the research conducted show that the work demand variable does not have a significant effect on employee performance. Meanwhile, it is known that the burnout variable has a significant effect on employee performance. The coefficient of determination test shows that there is a close relationship between job demand and burnout on employee performance with an R value of 0.706. Through the Adjusted R Square value, it is also known that the job demand and burnout variables contribute 48.1% to the employee performance variable while the remaining 51.9% is influenced by other variables not discussed in this research.

Abstract

Permasalahan produktivitas di perusahaan JNE cabang Medan Amplas terlihat dari adanya penurunan kinerja karyawan dari tahun 2022 hingga 2023, menunjukkan adanya perubahan dalam penilaian terhadap kinerja yang memerlukan investigasi lebih lanjut untuk strategi perbaikan yang tepat guna meningkatkan produktivitas. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh kecerdasan emosional, kecerdasan intelektual dan budaya organisasi terhada produktivitas. Pengaruh kecerdasan emosional, kecerdasan intelektual dan budaya organisasi akan dianalisis secara parsial dan simultan terhadap produktivitas pada JNE cabang Medan Amplas. Bentuk penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif dengan pendekatan asosiatif. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh karyawan JNE cabang Medan Amplas berjumlah 78 orang dengan teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan probability sampling. Data primer diperoleh melalui penyebaran kuesioner secara langsung dan data sekunder diperoleh melalui studi kepustakaan. Metode analisis yang digunakan adalah uji validitas, uji reliabilitas, uji asumsi klasik, regresi linear berganda, uji parsial, uji simultan, dan uji determinasi serta diolah melalui Software SPSS. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa kecerdasan emosional dan kecerdasan intelektual secara signifikan memengaruhi produktivitas karyawan JNE cabang Medan Amplas sesuai dengan hasil penelitian dan hipotesis (Ha1, Ha2). Sementara itu, Budaya organisasi berpengaruh positif tetapi tidak signifikan terhadap produktivitas (Ha3 diterima). Pengujian simultan variabel kecerdasan emosional, kecerdasan intelektual dan budaya organisasi berpengaruh secara simultan dengan tingkat pengaruh sebesar 65,3%, sedangkan 34,7% sisanya dipengaruhi oleh faktor-faktor di luar model penelitian ini.
