Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengidentifikasi jenis-jenis tuturan (utterences) yang tidak santun yang dituturkan oleh pembeli dan penjual di pasar tradisional Kota Ternate, menggunakan pendekatan skala kesantunan untuk menentukan jenis-jenis tuturan yang santun. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitan ini adalah metode kualitatif deskriptif. Penelitian ini menggunakan tiga teknik pengumpulan data, yaitu; 1) teknik observasi (observation); 2)  teknik simak dan catat; serta 3) teknik rekam (record). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa; enam (6) maksim kesantunan yang disampaikan oleh Leech. Semua maksim dilanggar oleh penjual dan pembeli dalam proses jual beli di pasar tradisional. Jumlah tuturan yang dilanggar dalam maksim-maksim itu sebanyak dua puluh lima (25); yang dilanggar penjual adalah dua belas (12) tuturan dan pembeli tiga belas (13) tuturan. Maksim yang paling banyak dilanggar oleh penjual dan pembeli adalah pada maksim maksim kebijaksanaan (tact maxim) yakni enam (6) pelanggaran tuturan. Pada maksim kesimpatian (symphaty maxim) tidak ada pelanggaran tuturan yang dilakukan oleh penjual dan pembeli. Skala kesantunan dijadikan ukuran kesantunan berbahasa dalam sebuah pertuturan disesuaikan dengan konteks pertuturan itu sendiri.

Abstract

This research aims to find out violations of the cooperative principle maxims contained in the film Mama. The theory used in this research is Grice's theory. This research uses a descriptive qualitative method to explain and describe every violation of the maxims contained in the film. The subject of this research is the Film Mama by Andres Muschietti. In conducting this research, researcher used the technique to collect data from watching movies and reading Mama's film scripts. After analyzing the film Mama, the researcher found four violations of the cooperative principle maxims namely: 4 violations of maxims Quantity, 5 violations of maxims Quality, 15 violations of maxims Relation and 17 violations of maxims Manner. The violation of the maxims most dominant violated by the characters in the film Mama is maxims Manner and violation of the maxim rarely found in this film is maxim of quantity.

Abstract

This research is related to psycholinguistics, neurolinguistics. It is one of the interdisciplinary studies between linguistics and the human brain. Here, it is more to describe the definition and types of human language disorders (language disorder). Language disorders are disorders that involve the processing of lainguistic information. Language disorder problems experienced can involve grammar (syntax and / or morphology), semantics (meaning), or other aspects of language. These problems may be responsive (involving impaired understanding of language), expressive (involving language production), or a combination of the two. The types of language disorders are as follows (1) disturbance of speech mechanism: interference due to pulmonary factors, disturbance due to laryngeal factors, disturbances due to lingual factors, disturbance due to resonance factors. (2) multifactorial distraction: random speaking, speaking propulsively, mutis speaking (mutism). (3) psychogenic disturbances: spoiled speech, seductive speech, stuttering, talkative talk. (4) aphasia: (1) motor aphasia (cortical motor aphasia, subcortical motor aphasia, transcortical motor aphasia). (2) sensory aphasia.

Abstract

Deixis is a word that shows the emphasis of a sentence on an object addressed by the speaker. This study also relates the grammatical elements in it where there are five types of deixis, each of which to has a word that indicates the sentence spoken by the speaker is shown to whom. This study investigated the five types of deixis in the film 'Dolittle' and found all the deixis in the film. In this film, it was found 1,238-person deixis (70.14%), 226 discourse deixis (12.76%), 150 social deixis (8.47%), 106 place deixis (5.98%), 45-time deixis (2.54%).

Abstract

This research aims to explore and analyse teachers’ perspectives on the teaching assistance program of Merdeka Belajar - Kampus Merdeka at SMK Negeri 1 Tidore Kepulauan. The research used qualitative method with questionnaire as the primer data and interview as the secondary data. The researcher selected three English teachers at SMKN 1 Tidore Kepulauan to involve in this research as a respondent. As a result, Teaching assistants in the MBKM program, supports school teachers with their English lessons. In addition, teaching assistants can adapt to the school and class environment and student behaviour within the class. When a manager gives him an opinion, he supports it. Second, teaching assistants also use learning media that appeal to the classroom, such as electronic media that are highly relevant today. In addition, we use several teaching strategies that can increase students' interest in learning and solve classroom teaching problems. They usually use games to boost the mood of their students while learning English. Finally, in order to grasp the student's learning progress, the teaching assistant will administer the test as an evaluation form and the test result will be evaluated by the teaching assistant. Therefore, the deficiencies in their teaching to students can be identified.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to find out the ability of students in reading at SMA Negeri 9 Halut. This study used a qualitative method with 20 students. Data collection was carried out by pre-test and post-test in the form of multiple choices. The results showed that students obtained very poor results (very poor in the pre-test. It can be seen from the average score of 47 out of 20 students and in the post-test students obtained sufficient with an average score of 70 out of 20 students. For grades the maximum pre-test students get very bad scores with a score of 47 and in the post-test students get sufficient with a score of 70 out of 20 students. .5 in the pre-test and 8.1 in the post-test of 20 students.Finally, the variation in the pre-test of students was 67 and the post-test was 112.2 of 20 students.
