Abstract

Premenstrual Syndrome (PMS) adalah kumpulan gejala baik fisik, emosional dan perilaku berkaitan dengan siklus menstruasi dan biasanya terjadi 7-10 hari sebelum menstruasi dimulai. Beberapa faktor yang memengaruhi PMS yaitu status gizi dan tingkat kecukupan vitamin B6. Penelitian bertujuan untuk menganalisis hubungan antara status gizi dan tingkat kecukupan vitamin B6 dengan kejadian PMS pada mahasiswi Fakultas Kesehatan Masyarakat Universitas Airlangga. Desain penelitian menggunakan cross sectional. Sampel penelitian sebesar 83 orang mahasiswi Fakultas Kesehatan Masyarakat Universitas Airlangga angkatan tahun 2015-2017 yang dipilih dengan teknik simple random sampling. Metode penelitian ini adalah pengukuran tinggi badan dan berat badan (data status gizi), kuesioner food recall 2x24 jam (data tingkat kecukupan vitamin B6) dan kuesioner Shortened Premenstrual Assessment Form (data kejadian PMS). Analisis data menggunakan uji chi square. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan 53% responden mengalami PMS ringan dan 47% responden mengalami PMS sedang. Hasil uji statistik menunjukkan adanya hubungan signifikan antara status gizi (p=0,012) dengan kejadian PMS, namun tidak terdapat hubungan antara asupan vitamin B6 (p=1) dengan kejadian PMS. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa wanita dengan kelebihan berat badan lebih memiliki peluang mengalami PMS yang lebih parah dan wanita yang tingkat kecukupan vitamin B6-nya rendah tidak mengalami pola yang mencolok dalam tingkat keparahan PMS mereka.

Abstract

Counseling guidance in PAUD is very important and needed because it helps the growth and development of students both in terms of psychological, emotional, physical and thinking. PAUD is an educational institution before the elementary school level as an effort to foster and teach children from birth to the age of six in a certain way, with the aim of helping the growth and development of children both physically and spiritually so that they are ready. . continue to the next level of education on the formal track. non-formal or informal. Counseling guidance in PAUD institutions must be given to all students, not only to problem children. Because even children who have no problems need to get guidance services so that it is easier for them to develop their talents, interests and potential. Thus counseling guidance is not only to deal with problem students, but also as an action to meet the child's developmental needs to the fullest. The application of learning in early childhood education can be through the media of toys. Islamic-based guidance and counseling media for early childhood in the formation of independent character can be done with game media.

Abstract

The title of the research is The Effectiveness of Using Picture Series in Teaching Writing Recount Text for the Seventh Grade Students at Mts. Manbaul Ulum Mojopurogede. The problem of this research is to determine the significance of the effect of using the picture series in teaching writing recount texts for the seventh grade at MTs Manbaul Ulum Mojopurogede. The objective is to find out whether the picture series media is effective in teaching the writing of recount texts for the seventh grade at MTs Manbaul Ulum. The researcher uses the quantitative method by using a quasi-experimental research design. To collect the data, this research uses a pre-test, a treatment, and a post-test as the instruments, and the data was collected, processed, and the results were compared using a statistical test results table using the SPSS 26.0 application. The population and the sample of this research are all students in the seventh grade at MTs Manbaul Ulum in the academic year 2023-2024, of which there are 52 students.The result of this research shows that the use of picture series as a media to teach recount text writing skills can effectively increase students' writing skills, as confirmed by the t-test formula.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh kebutuhan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan membaca kitab di kalangan siswa kelas 6 Ula Madin Darut Taqwa. Kitab Fathul Qorib adalah salah satu teks penting dalam pendidikan pesantren, namun banyak siswa mengalami kesulitan dalam memahami dan membaca teks ini dengan benar. Metode Sorogan, sebuah metode pengajaran tradisional yang melibatkan pembelajaran individual di hadapan guru, dianggap memiliki potensi untuk mengatasi masalah ini. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi efektivitas metode Sorogan dalam pembelajaran kitab Fathul Qorib. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian lapangan (field research). Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi langsung, wawancara mendalam dengan guru dan siswa, serta dokumentasi proses pembelajaran. Analisis data dilakukan dengan teknik reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa metode Sorogan secara signifikan meningkatkan kemampuan membaca kitab siswa, mencakup aspek kefasihan, pemahaman, dan ketepatan membaca teks Arab. Temuan ini mengindikasikan bahwa metode Sorogan efektif dalam meningkatkan kemampuan membaca kitab serta memberikan perhatian individu yang lebih intensif, sehingga membantu siswa memahami materi dengan lebih baik. Dengan demikian, disarankan agar metode Sorogan diadopsi lebih luas dalam pembelajaran kitab klasik di pendidikan pesantren guna meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran dan pemahaman teks-teks agama. Abstract This study was motivated by the need to improve the ability to read books among grade 6 students of Ula Madin Darut Taqwa. The Fathul Qorib book is one of the important texts in Islamic boarding school education, but many students have difficulty in understanding and reading this text correctly. The Sorogan method, a traditional teaching method that involves individual learning in front of a teacher, is considered to have the potential to overcome this problem. This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of the Sorogan method in learning the Fathul Qorib book. This study uses a qualitative method with a field research type. Data were collected through direct observation, in-depth interviews with teachers and students, and documentation of the learning process. Data analysis was carried out using data reduction techniques, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results showed that the Sorogan method significantly improved students' ability to read books, including aspects of fluency, comprehension, and accuracy in reading Arabic texts. These findings indicate that the Sorogan method is effective in improving the ability to read books and providing more intensive individual attention, thus helping students understand the material better. Thus, it is suggested that the Sorogan method be adopted more widely in the learning of classical books in Islamic boarding school education in order to improve the quality of learning and understanding of religious texts

Abstract

Kepemimpinan yang efektif dalam  pendidikan sangat penting untuk menyelesaikan konflik. Kepemimpinan di lingkungan pendidikan memainkan peran krusial dalam menyelesaikan konflik yang sering muncul di antara siswa, guru, dan bahkan orang tua. Dalam konteks ini, kepala sekolah dan pemimpin pendidikan lainnya berfungsi sebagai mediator yang efektif, yang tidak hanya mengidentifikasi sumber konflik tetapi juga mengembangkan strategi untuk mengatasinya. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi kepustakaan Kepala Sekolah juga harus memiliki keterampilan manajemen yang baik untuk mengelola dinamika tim. Dengan menangani konflik secara konstruktif, pimpinan sekolah dapat mendorong staf untuk bekerja lebih kreatif dan produktif. Dengan demikian, kepemimpinan yang efektif tidak hanya menyelesaikan konflik namun juga membangun budaya sekolah yang positif. Konflik dalam lingkungan pendidikan merupakan fenomena yang kompleks dan sering kali tidak dapat dihindari. Kepala sekolah dan pimpinan sekolah berperan penting dalam mengelola konflik untuk menyelesaikannya dan  menjadi sarana pencapaian visi dan misi organisasi atau forum pendidikan (sekolah). Abstract

This research examines the effectiveness of the Duolingo application in enhancing the vocabulary achievement of eleventh-grade students. Using a quasi-experimental design, the study compares the vocabulary acquisition of students who used the Duolingo app with those who did not. The experimental group received the Duolingo app as treatment, while the control group received conventional instruction without additional intervention. Pre-tests and post-tests were administered to both groups to assess vocabulary skills before and after the treatment. The study was conducted at SMA Nusantara, involving 31 students from eleventh grade A and B. Data collection was taken from multiple-choice tests to measure vocabulary acquisition. Statistical analyses, including independent t-tests, were performed using SPSS 26.0 to compare the vocabulary mastery of both groups. Results indicate that students in the experimental group, who used the Duolingo app, demonstrated significantly higher vocabulary scores compared to the control group. The students who have been taught the Duolingo application get better grades than those who have been taught the traditional method. The findings highlight the efficacy of incorporating technology, such as the Duolingo app, in language learning to improve vocabulary acquisition among students. Further research could explore the long-term effects of using Duolingo and its applicability in diverse educational settings.

Abstract

The School Health Program (UKS) aims to improve the health status of students through the Trias UKS, which includes health education, health services, and fostering a healthy school environment. However, the implementation of UKS has not been optimal in many schools, including Muhammadiyah 1 Elementary School in Malang, which faces challenges such as students' lack of knowledge about balanced nutrition, Clean and Healthy Living Behavior (PHBS), and mental health. This community service activity included planning, implementation, and evaluation phases. The program was conducted with 19 fourth-grade students at Muhammadiyah 1 Elementary School in Malang through lectures, demonstrations, and training methods. Interventions included education on balanced nutrition, PHBS, handling bullying, first aid training, and developing a healthy environment through TOGA (medicinal plants) cultivation. Evaluations were conducted to assess changes in students' knowledge, attitudes, and behavior. There was a significant increase in students' knowledge, with the percentage of students demonstrating good knowledge rising from 76% to 95% after the intervention. A total of 85% of students were able to independently practice handwashing and toothbrushing, and 60% could demonstrate first aid. High participation rates were observed in physical exercise and TOGA cultivation activities. The use of lecture methods supported by PowerPoint presentations and demonstrations contributed to positive changes in students' healthy living behaviors. The development program of UKS based on the Healthy School Movement (GSS) effectively improved students' knowledge, attitudes, and behaviors related to health. This model can be adopted to optimize UKS in schools through structured, interactive, and integrated health education methods to create a sustainable healthy school environment that supports the optimization of students' health and education quality.

Abstract

Penelitian ini menganalisis peran nilai-nilai Islam dalam meningkatkan motivasi kerja tenaga kependidikan di lembaga pendidikan Islam melalui metode studi pustaka. Pendekatan bibliografis digunakan dengan mengumpulkan dan menganalisis data primer dari teks asli buku dan artikel ilmiah, serta data sekunder dari hasil penelitian terdahulu yang relevan. Proses penelitian meliputi penelusuran literatur sistematis melalui sumber tertulis dan digital, dilanjutkan dengan analisis kualitatif menggunakan pendekatan ganda (deduktif dan induktif). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa nilai-nilai Islam (ikhlas, amanah, ihsan, sabar, ta'awun) berfungsi sebagai motivator intrinsik yang stabil, meningkatkan ketahanan kerja, dan memperkuat kolaborasi tim. Temuan ini merekomendasikan integrasi nilai-nilai Islam dalam sistem manajemen SDM pendidikan melalui pengembangan model pelatihan berbasis karakter Islami dan sistem penilaian kinerja yang holistik.
