Abstract

This research aims to analize the financial feasibility and to analize the level of sensivity of fish feed agroindustry business. This research uses the case study method, the object of the research is a fish feed business in Kuok district Kampar regency. Investment criteria used in analyzing the financial feasibility is Net Present Value (NPV), Internal Rate of Return (IRR) dan Net Benefit Cost Ratio (Net B/C). The results of the research showed that fish feed agroindustry business is feasible to run and developed with the value of NPV as Rp. 1.727.012.550 (NPV bigger than zero), Net B/C of 3,08 (Net B/C bigger than one) and IRR stay at DF 55,34% (IRR bigger than DF 12%). The results of the sensitivity analysis showed that if the business have a risk from the increases bran prices by 14%, dried fish price increases of 8%, a decrease in fish feed production 25% and decline of production time to 17 days in 1 month, then business is not sensitive to the risks and the business is worth tobe continued. Resulting risk is not worth the effort, in case sensitivity the increases bran prices by 16,15%, dried fish price increases of 26,96%, increases bran princes and dried fish simultaneously 11%, a decrease in fish feed production  52,46% and decline of production time to 11 days in 1 month. Abstract

Background: Ramania leaves (Bouea macrophylla Griffith) are one of the local medicinal plants of South Kalimantan which is used as adjuvant therapy material. Previous research showed that ramania leaves ethanol extract showed that the extract has potential as adjuvant therapy material for anticancer, but the safety of this material is not yet known so it  needs to be tested with cytotoxicity test to know the toxic properties of the material toward normal cells in vitro. Objective: This research aims to determine the cytotoxicity properties of ramania leaves ethanol extract toward Vero cells using MTT assay method. Method: It was a true experimental research using posttest-only with control group design consist of 8 treatment groups: 31.25μg/mL, 62.5μg/mL, 125μg/mL, 250μg/mL, 500μg/mL, 1000μg/mL, 2000μg/mL and 4000μg/mL and 2 control groups which were cell control and media control. Study phases include phytochemical test, tannic acid test, cell culture, harvest and cell calculation and cytotoxicity test. The result test was read by ELISA reader, the absorbance will be calculated  by a  formula. Results: The test result showed that ramania leaves ethanol extract contained secondary metabolite such as phenol, flavonoid, steroid and terpenoid. The identification test of tannic acid compound  using TLC method (thin layer chromatography) showed the presence of tannic acid compound.The probit analysis showed IC50in 35.808μg/mL. Conclusion: Based on the research, it can be concluded that ramania leaves ethanol extract are found cytotoxic toward Vero cells after the analysis using MTT assay method (IC50<100μg/mL).

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh proses pembelajaran menulis teks eksposisi yang dilakukan di kelas X MIA 3 MAN 2 Batusangkar yang belum menggunakan model pembelajaran yang tepat. Akibatnya, nilai siswa masih rendah di bawah KKM.Jenis penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif dengan menggunakan metode deskriptif. Jumlah populasi pada penelitian ini 346 siswa dengan sampel 33 siswa kelas X MIA 3 MAN 2 Batusangkar. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah test unjuk kerja. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini antar lain: (1) Melakukan observasi ke tempat penelitian, (2) Melihat kurikulum, memahami standar kompetensi dan kompetensi dasar pembelajaran yang berkaitan dengan permasalahan (3) Mengembangkan silabus, menjabarkan indikator pembelajaran, menentukan tujuan pembelajaran, menetapkan materi pembelajaran, (4) Menyusun sekenario pembelajaran (5) Menyusun rubrik penilaian. Teknik analisis data yaitu: (1) Menilai hasil tes unjuk kerja siswa sesuai dengan format penilaian, (2) Mengolah data yang berasal dari tes unjuk kerja menulis eksposisi untuk memperoleh data atau skor mentah, (3) Mentabulasi nilai, menentukan persentase ketercapaian siswa berdasarkan nilai yang diperoleh siswa, (4) Patokan perhitungan persentase skala sepuluh, (5) mendeskripsikan, (6) Membuat interpretasi dan kesimpulan.Hasil penelitian kemampuan menulis teks eksposisi dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe TPS siswa kelas X MIA 3 MAN 2 Batusangkar. Setelah menggunakan model kooperatif tipe TPS pada aspek pendahuluan yang memperoleh skor sempurna sebanyak 26 orang dan lebih dari cukup 8 orang. Pada aspek isi siswa yang memperoleh skor sempurna berjumlah 24 orang dan memperoleh skor lebih dari cukup 10 orang. Pada aspek kesimpulan siswa yang memperoleh kualifikasi sempurna sebanyak 15 orang  dan yang memperoleh kualifikasi lebih dari cukup sebanyak 19 orang. Jadi, dengan menggunakan model kooperatif tipe TPS dapat meningkatkan kemampuan menulis eksposisi siswa kelas  X MIA 3 MAN 2 Batusangkar.Maka rata-rata keseluruhan kemampuan menulis teks eksposisi siswa kelas X MIA 3 MAN 2 Batusangkar berada pada kualifikasi baik sekali dengan rata-rata 86,47

Abstract

Cervical cancer is a cancer that occurs in the cervix, which is the area of the female reproductive organ which is the entrance to the uterus, located between the uterus (uterus) and the female intercourse (vagina). The incidence of cervical cancer can be detected by the method of Visual Inspection of Acetic Acid (IVA), the IVA examination aims to find pre-cancerous cervical lesions before they become cancerous. The research objective is to know the factors associated with IVA examination in fertile-aged women couples in the work area of Karya Tani Labuhan Maringgai Health Center, East Lampung Regency in 2021.This type of quantitative research with cross sectional approach. The population of this study were all WUS III with a sample of 98 respondents. the object of this research is the IVA examination. The research was conducted in the work area of Karya Tani Labuhan Maringgai Community Health Center, East Lampung Regency in April 2021. Data collection used a questionnaire. Univariate and bivariate (chi square) data analysis. The results showed that there was a relationship between knowledge and IVA examination in the work area of the Karya Tani Labuhan Maringgai Community Health Center in East Lampung Regency in 2021 (p-value = 0.018, OR = 6,000). There is a socio-cultural relationship to IVA examination in the work area of Karya Tani Labuhan Maringgai Health Center, East Lampung Regency in 2021 (p-value = 0.002, OR = 7.333). There is a relationship between family / husband support for IVA examination in the work area of the Karya Tani Labuhan Maringgai Community Health Center, East Lampung Regency in 2021 (p-value 0.004, OR = 5.760). There is no relationship between health care workers' support for IVA examinations in the work area of Karya Tani Labuhan Maringgai Community Health Center, East Lampung Regency in 2021 (p-value = 0.383). Suggestions to IVA officers are expected to take a personal approach to women of reproductive age couples so that they want to do IVA examinations

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh penggunaan metode karya wisata terhadap kemampuan menulis puisi siswa. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif menggunakan metode eksperimen. Populasi dalam penelitian ini merupakan siswa kelas VIII MTsM Padangpanjang yang terdaftar pada tahun ajaran 2022/2023. Penelitian ini menetapkan sampel sebanyak satu kelas dari keseluruhan populasi. Sampel dalam penelitian ini yaitu kelas VIII A yang diberi perlakuan metode karya wisata. Penetapan sampel dilaksanakan dengan cara purposive sampling yakni dengan pertimbangan dan keperluan tertentu. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan tes unjuk kerja menulis puisi. Untuk menentukan pengaruh sekaligus menguji hipotesis digunakan rumus uji-t. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: pertama, rata-rata hitung keterampilan menulis puisi siswa sebelum menggunakan metode karya wisata dengan nilai 83,64. Kedua, rata-rata hitung keterampilan menulis puisi setelah menggunakan metode karya wisata dengan nilai 90,76. Hal ini dikarenakan setelah menggunakan metode karya wisata memudahkan siswa untuk menulis puisi sesuai dengan keorisinilan ide, diksi, persajakan, dan bahasa kiasan yang baik. Ketiga, terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan penerapan metode karya wisata dalam menulis puisi siswa dengan taraf signifikansi 0,05 dan derajat kebebasan n-2 (17-2= 15). Dengan demikian, Ho ditolak Ha diterima, karena hasil pengujian membuktikan bahwa t hitung> t table (8,59> 2,13). Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan metode karya wisata berpengaruh terhadap kemampuan menulis puisi siswa.

Abstract

Kemampuan berpikir kreatif matematis sangat diperlukan dalam pembelajaran matematika. Akan tetapi, hasil observasi menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan berpikir kreatif matematis siswa MAN 3 Aceh Utara masih dalam kategori rendah. Selain berpikir kreatif matematis terdapat faktor lain yang dapat mempengaruhi pembelajaran siswa yaitu kecerdasan emosional. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kemampuan berpikir kreatif matematis berdasarkan kecerdasan emosional siswa kelas X-3 MAN 3 Aceh Utara pada mata pelajaran matematika. Jenis penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian campuran (mixed method). Subjek penelitian ini adalah 12 siswa kelas X-3 MAN 3 Aceh Utara. Adapun teknik pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini adalah tes kemampuan berpikir kreatif matematis siswa, angket kecerdasan emosional dan wawancara. Analisis data kualitatif  dilakukan dengan cara reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan atau verifikasi. Sedangkan analisis data kuantitatif dilakukan dengan cara korelasi product moment. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa siswa dengan kemampuan berpikir kreatif matematis kategori tinggi dengan kecerdasan emosional tinggi memiliki persentase sebesar 16,66% atau 2 siswa. Siswa dengan kemampuan berpikir kreatif matematis kategori sedang dengan kecerdasan emosional sedang memiliki persentase 8,33% atau 1 siswa. Siswa dengan kemampuan berpikir kreatif matematis kategori rendah dengan kecerdasan emosional rendah memiliki persentase 75% atau 9 siswa.  Berdasarkan hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan berpikir kreatif matematis berdasarkan kecerdasan emosional siswa kelas X-3 MAN 3 Aceh Utara pada materi eksponen dan logaritma tergolong rendah.

Abstract

This study aims to produce learning tools in the form of Semester Learning Plans, Course Learning Activity, and Journalism Practice Modules based on Project-Based Learning (PjBL) that are valid and practical. The method used is Research and Development (R&D) with a one group pretest-posttest design. The sample consisted of 20 students of the Indonesian Language and Literature Education Study Program at Universitas Bung Hatta and 10 students of the Universitas Muhammadiyah Sumatera Barat. Data were collected through an instrument in the form of a validation questionnaire reviewed by reviewers, experts (lecturers), and practitioners. The practicality questionnaire was filled out by lecturers and students, covering aspects of ease of use, time efficiency, and benefits. The results of the validation of the journalistic practice learning tools obtained an average validity score of 0.83 for Semester Learning Plans, 0.85 for Course Learning Activity, and 0.86 for the module. These scores indicate that the validity of the learning tools is in the very high category. The results of the practicality of the journalistic practice learning tools are in the very practical category. The average practicality scores of students towards Semester Learning Plans and modules were 86.1 and 83.1% respectively, while from lecturers it was 90.8% (Semester Learning Plans), 88.7% (Course Learning Activity), and 88.7% (Module). The research product, consisting of project-based learning tools for journalism practice, namely the Semester Learning Plan, Course Learning Activities, and Learning Modules based on Project-based Learning, demonstrated high levels of validity and practicality, indicating its suitability for implementation in higher education.

Abstract

Phonological error analysis in this study is related to the pronunciation of sounds of language in communication. Given the importance of communication between speakers and listeners, it is imperative to conduct a study of the analysis of children with intellectual disability's phonological errors. This study aims to analyze phonological errors consisting of phonetics and phonemics in the vocabulary of children with intellectual disability in SLB (Special School) Insan Mandiri, Tanah Pak Lambiak Village, Padangpanjang City. The method employed was the descriptive qualitative method. The data collection method was the listening and speaking method called the Simak Libat Cakap (SLC) technique. The instruments were the researchers, 200 basic Morris Swadesh vocabularies, stationery, and recording devices (cellphones). Data analysis techniques employed were (1) classify, (2) describe, (3) analyze, (4) discuss or implement, and (5) conclude. Based on the findings, phonological errors generally occurred in the phonetic domain, especially in pronouncing vibration sounds due to an illness that inhibits the speaking process of children with intellectual disabilities. Several errors were found in the pronunciation of consonants and clusters in the phonemic domain. Therefore, constant attention, guidance, and practice are needed so children with intellectual disabilities can communicate well. In Islam, education is considered one of the important aspects of life. Thus, the principles of inclusion and attention to individuals with intellectual limitations should be applied to children with intellectual disabilities. The ultimate goal is to ensure that all individuals have equal access to religious education and moral values that are important in the Islamic religion.

Abstract

Language variations are divided into four categories: variations based on the speaker, variations based on usage, variations based on formality, and variations based on means and media. This study focuses on language variations based on the speaker.         This research is motivated by the fact that many people still do not understand the concept of language variation and the reasons behind their use of such variations. Language variation also plays a significant role in interactions, particularly in buying and selling transactions. The aim of this study is to analyze the language variations that occur in the interactions between sellers and buyers at the vegetable market in Padangpanjang.         This study employs a descriptive qualitative method. Data collection was conducted using the observation method with non-participant observation, recording, and note-taking techniques. The steps of analysis included the following stages: 1) watching the research video, 2) classifying the data based on the type of language variation, 3) describing the data, 4) analyzing the data, and 5) drawing conclusions. The results of the analysis show that the types of language variation found based on the speaker are classified into idiolect, dialect, chronolect, and sociolect. The research data consisted of 68 utterances. Based on the classification, the utterances were found to be: 24 idiolect utterances, 39 dialect utterances, 2 chronolect utterances, and 3 sociolect utterances.Keywords: Language variations, idiolect, dialect, chronolect, sociolect

Abstract

Semantics is a field of study concerned with meaning. When speaking, meaning becomes the main issue. The understanding of meaning is an activity that cannot be separated from other linguistic studies. Therefore, knowledge of the relationship between linguistic symbols or language units and their meanings is essential for effective communication. This study aims to describe the acquisition of semantics in the noun class, verb class, adjective class, and function words of a child named Arsyad Ghani, aged 4 years and 8 months. The data collection method used in this research is the conversational method with the elicitation technique. The informant sampling technique is total sampling, with a total of 200 words analyzed. The data were collected through audio recordings using input media. The data analysis process consisted of five stages: data reduction (summarizing and selecting key points), data display (presenting data in tables, pictograms, and similar forms), data verification (to summarize conclusions), data analysis, and drawing conclusions. Based on the research conducted on Arsyad, his semantic acquisition in the noun class consisted of 67 words out of 90, in the verb class 34 words out of 50, in the adjective class 35 words out of 46, and in the function word class 13 words out of 16. Thus, Arsyad’s overall semantic understanding across all Swadesh word classes is 74.50%. Keywords: semantic acquisition, child aged 4 years and 8 months, psycholinguistics
