Abstract

The problems with traffic in many big cities is congestion. Detection and tracking of vehicles in traffic light queues is an important aspect of an efficient urban transport system. This research introduces a combined model that combines the YOLO (You Only Look Once) version 5 algorithm or commonly called YOLOv5, a high-speed object detection approach, with the SORT (Simple Online and Realtime Tracking) algorithm to efficiently detect and track vehicles. The method was tested using a dataset of real traffic recordings and the results showed excellent performance in detecting and tracking vehicles, with sufficient accuracy and speed for urban traffic applications. Using this approach, vehicle detection and tracking systems can improve traffic safety and optimize vehicle flow at road intersections.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the reasons al-Maqbul pesantren maintains the traditional education system in the educational epistemology perspective. This research is qualitative, describe data obtained from the field and literature related to the discussion. To get the data used data collection techniques through observation, interviews and documentation. This study resulted in the findings, namely: (1) The reason al-Maqbul pesantren maintains the traditional education system cannot be separated from the epistemological construction of education; (2) The influence of the epistemological foundation of education at the al-Maqbul pesantren on its educational goals can be identified from Bayani's tendency to place sources of knowledge instead of logical reasoning, empirical observations, and scientific methods. However, the texts of the Qur'an, Hadith, and the Yellow Book; (3) According to the view of al-Maqbul pesantren, truth, knowledge, and educational methods are obtained from the texts of the Qur'an, Hadith, and the Yellow Book. The conclusion of this study is that al-Maqbul pesantren still maintains the purity of its original identity as a place to study religious sciences for its students. All knowledge learned in this pesantren is entirely religious in nature, sourced from Arabic-language books, does not include general knowledge in the education system.

Abstract

This research responds to the increasing number of unemployed graduates of Islamic universities including IAIN Ponorogo. Improvement efforts are always made as a step to continuously improve the quality of graduates so that they are able to master and apply science and technology in line with the challenges of the times. The study aims to explore the role of the integration of faith, science, and charity as a guideline for scientific and institutional development at IAIN Ponorogo in the paradigm of market orientation versus humanism. Qualitative research approach, data collection was conducted through observation techniques, in-depth interviews, and document analysis. Data analysis was conducted by data reduction, presentation, and conclusion drawing. The findings of this study; first, the reactualization of the integration of faith, science and charity as the development paradigm of IAIN Ponorogo is considered important and strategic after the institutional transformation from STAIN to IAIN 2016. IAIN Ponorogo did not have a scientific paradigm previously, so it was considered ineffective enough to guide the future development of IAIN Ponorogo. Second, the formulation of the paradigm of integration of the concepts of faith, science and charity is by positioning tawhid as the foundation in interpreting all forms of science. Science cannot be separated from Allah SWT, science must function to get closer to the Creator and encourage good deeds. Third, the response of the academic community of IAIN Ponorogo to the paradigm of integration of faith, science, and charity includes scientific works in the form of books and journal articles, verbal responses in discussion groups. The socialization and internalization of the integration of faith, science, and charity to the entire academic community of IAIN Ponorogo in its various forms needs to be continuously improved.

Abstract

This research in-depth analyzes the role and function of Islamic educational philosophy in shaping the scientific structure at the Amanatul Ummah Ponorogo Student Islamic Boarding School in the context of modernization challenges. By focusing on Islamic values, this research examines how Islamic boarding schools attempt to integrate traditional values ​​with the increasingly complex demands of the times, especially in facing globalization and developments in information technology. This research will identify the strategies implemented by Islamic boarding schools in maintaining the relevance of Islamic values, such as curriculum adaptation, use of technology in learning, and development of innovative learning models. Apart from that, this research will also discuss the challenges faced by Islamic boarding schools in dealing with value pluralism, radicalism and the current of secularism. Through in-depth analysis of the curriculum, learning methods, extracurricular activities, and in-depth interviews with kyai, teachers and students, this research aims to provide recommendations for Islamic boarding schools in developing educational models that are capable of producing graduates who not only master science, but also have good character. who is strong and adheres to Islamic values. This research will answer two main questions: (1) What is the role of educational philosophy in shaping the scientific structure at the Amanatul Ummah Ponorogo Islamic Boarding School? and (2) What is the function of educational philosophy in the educational context of the Islamic boarding school? It is hoped that the results of this research can make a significant contribution in understanding more deeply the role of educational philosophy in the context of modern Islamic boarding school education, as well as providing recommendations for developing Islamic boarding school education that is more relevant to the challenges of the times.

Abstract

This study examines the philosophy of traditional Islamic education with a particular focus on Pesantren al-Maqbul in Indonesia, while conceptually comparing it to traditional Islamic educational institutions in Libya. It employed a qualitative comparative method. For data analysis, an inductive-philosophical approach was used. The findings reveal that the sustainability of the traditional educational system at Pesantren al-Maqbul is inextricably linked to its philosophical foundations. Ontologically, the pesantren adheres to a monistic worldview, positioning revelation (the Qur’an and Hadith) as the sole authoritative source of knowledge. Epistemologically, it employs the Bayani approach—a method characterized by rigorous textual reasoning—in teaching and learning. From an axiological perspective, the pesantren adopts an Irfani orientation, emphasizing the cultivation of ethics, proper conduct (adab), and spiritual dimensions. This approach closely resembles the traditional Islamic education model in Libya, highlighting the authority of revealed texts, the halaqah method of instruction, and Sufi values. The similarities suggest that traditional Islamic educational philosophy is grounded in universally shared principles despite differing geographical and social contexts. The study concludes that traditional educational systems remain relevant due to their solid philosophical foundations and capacity to adapt to contemporary challenges contextually.

Abstract

Literacy is the language skills a person has in communicating, such as reading and writing, listening and speaking, carried out differently according to the purpose. The problem that is often faced related to literacy and numeracy is that students cannot read and cannot even recognize letters, due to frequent changes in unfinished curriculum. The method used in this research is a qualitative approach by searching for data directly, so as to obtain primary data. There are many obstacles encountered by students in mentoring, such as students working at home to help their parents, and students also playing with gadgets too often.

Abstract

International arbitration has emerged as a preferred mechanism for resolving cross-border commercial disputes due to its neutrality, flexibility, and enforceability. This study examines the pivotal role of international arbitration in addressing conflicts arising from global trade and investment activities. It explores the advantages of arbitration over traditional litigation, including party autonomy, procedural efficiency, confidentiality, and the recognition of arbitral awards under the New York Convention. Furthermore, the research highlights the challenges faced in arbitration practice, such as high costs, lengthy proceedings, and the need for harmonization across different legal systems. By analyzing key cases and international instruments, this paper underscores the significance of arbitration in promoting legal certainty, protecting business interests, and fostering international economic relations. The findings suggest that while arbitration remains an indispensable tool in global commerce, reforms are necessary to enhance its accessibility and effectiveness in resolving complex cross-border disputes.

Abstract

Pragmatic considerations and authoritarian and indoctrinative approach of traditional education system typically doesn’t allow merits of participation and constructive criticism for students, which is believed to be a cogent factor behind Darul Huda Islamic Boarding School considering to change into modern education. The study analyses how the educational at Darul Huda is changing from tradition to modern with respect to philosophy of education. The data is analyzed from a qualitative perspective with ethnographic techniques including in-depth interviews with religious leaders, teachers, students, and administrators and alumni as well as observation and documentary studies. Research results show that the transformation of the philosophy of education from a traditional education system to a modern education system can be observed from the formulation of educational goals, the influence of ontological, epistemological, and axiological foundations in educational practices at Pesantren Darul Huda. This philosophical transformation opens up opportunities for modern education, which emphasizes contextual, critical, and participatory approaches, to be implemented by Pesantren Darul Huda. So, aiming to produce learners who not only master religious knowledge but also are capable of adapting to the dynamics of social change.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi dari fenomena menurun karakter dan sikap toleran di kalangan generasi muda yang menjadi isu krusial dalam dinamika kehidupan sosial saat ini. Perkembangan teknologi, arus informasi yang tidak terfilter, serta minimnya pendidikan karakter yang aplikatif menjadi faktor dominan yang memengaruhi perilaku intoleran, individualistik, dan kurang empati antar generasi muda. Salah satu penyebab utamanya adalah pemahaman keagamaan yang semakin eksklusif. Moderasi beragama sebagai solusi mendorong sikap toleran, inklusif, dan penghargaan terhadap perbedaan, yang sejalan dengan tujuan pendidikan karakter dalam kurikulum merdeka. SMAN 1 dan MAN 1 Ponorogo merupakan sekolah umum dan juga sekolah berbasis madrasah yang didalamnya terdapat beragam kepercayaan pada peserta didik maupun pendidiknya. SMAN 1 dan MAN 1 Ponorogo sudah menerapakan P5 sejak tahun 2022/2023. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan implementasi P5 di SMAN 1 Ponorogo dan MAN 1 Ponorogo, Nilai-nilai moderasi beragama yang diarusutamakan melalui P5 di SMAN 1 Ponorogo dan MAN 1 Ponorogo, dan bagaimana implikasi dari pengarusutamaan nilai-nilai moderasi beragama melalui P5 dalam membentuk generasi yang inklusif dan berakarakter di SMAN 1 Ponorogo dan MAN 1 Ponorogo. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian pendekatan kualiatatif jenis studi kasus dengan teknik pengumpulan data berupa observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa kedua sekolah telah mengintegrasikan nilai-nilai moderasi beragama dalam berbagai tema P5, Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pelaksanaan P5 mampu menjadi media yang efektif dalam mengarusutamakan nilai-nilai moderasi beragama yang dapat membentuk sikap toleransi, keterbukaan, serta semangat kebhinekaan sesuai dengan nilai karakter profil pelajar pancasila.

Abstract

This study aims to develop an Arabic Scrabble game product to increase Arabic vocabulary, describe the steps for developing an Arabic Scrabble game, and test the feasibility of an Arabic Scrabble game development product to improve Arabic vocabulary. This type of research is Research and Development research with the Borg and Gall development model which is modified into five steps of development, namely 1) Research and data collection (2) Formulating a research plan. (2) Development of initial product draft. (4) Test the product to the validator. (5) Revision. The instruments used were expert validation questionnaires (media, material and language experts) and interview guidelines. The results showed that the Arabic Scrabble game was categorized as a very appropriate learning media to be used in learning Arabic vocabulary. This can be seen from the results of the research (1 steps for making a game consisting of a game box/packaging, game board, game chips/dice, letter rack, game manual and game assessment sheet. (2 Based on the results of expert trials, game product development Arabic Scrabble got a score of 95.3% (very decent category) from media experts, material expert validation got a score of 86% (decent category), linguist validation got a score of 96% with (very decent category).
