Abstract

The problem examined in this study was the low motivation of student learning during the Pandemi Covid - 19 at SMP Negeri 2 Palembang. The goal to be achieved in this study is to find out whether group guidance services with problem solving techniques can increase student motivation in the era of Pandemi Covid - 19 at SMP Negeri 2 Palembang. From the results of research and data analysis shows that there is an increase in student learning motivation after the provision of group guidance services with problem solving techniques is evidenced by the results of the Wilcoxon test with Zhitung > Ztabel values ​​of 2,677 > 2,007, then HA is accepted and Ho is rejected. This means that there is an increase between pre-test and post-test values, so it can be concluded that group guidance with problem solving techniques can increase student learning motivation in Pandemi Covid-19 in SMP Negeri 2 Palembang.

Abstract

The problems studied in this study are to describe and be able to determine the role of teachers' interpersonal communication skills in increasing students' self-efficacy. Because the counselor's efforts are needed to help overcome the problems they face by guiding them to more positive and harmonious behavior and can motivate them to learn. The method used in this study is a qualitative descriptive method using purposive sampling technique where this technique is to take research data sources with various considerations and is based on the existence of research objectives. From the results of research and data analysis shows that in communicating counseling guidance teachers are quite good in familiarizing themselves with students by way of approach. and provide strategies in the form of information services and individual counseling services. With a strategy in the form of information services and individual counseling services, interpersonal communication skills, counseling guidance teachers are able to make students confident in their abilities and more motivated than ever before.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to examine the picture of adolescent affection conditions after parents experience divorce. This type of research is qualitative research with a case study type.  Data collection techniques use interview observation instruments and documentation. Data is obtained through students, kindergarten teachers, homeroom teachers, subject teachers, parents, and peers. The validity test uses our criteria, namely (1) Trust test (2) Transferability test, (3) Dependability test, and (4) Conformity test. Furthermore, the data obtained during the process in the field is continuously analyzed which refers to the Miles and Huberman model. The results showed that the condition of adolescent affection subjects "XR"  (pseudonyms) after their parents experienced divorce was moody, had ex sive and sad disappointment expressed by crying, and withdrew from the social environment to make  "XR" behave negatively at school as evidenced by the appearance of skipping classes, decreased academic scores, irritability, and fighting friends at school so that it adversely affects his n development. Therefore, in this study, researchers recommend that faith-based counseling is the right alternative in dealing with e "XR" problem because in the service of a faith-based counseling model the counselor will focus on reducing the sense of security, calm through the disclosure, analysis, meaning appropriately and positively of the condition of the counselor's affection.

Abstract

Penelitian ini berjudul upaya meningkatkan kepercayaan diri siswa menggunakan teknik sosiodrama pada layanan bimbingan kelompok di SMA Negeri 4 Kota Jambi. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode penelitian tindakan layanan (PTL). Sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 8 orang siswa kelas X IPS 2 Tahun Ajaran 2021/2022 dalam kategori kurang memiliki kepercayaan diri berdasarkan kriteria tertentu. Adapun tahap bimbingan kelompok dalam penelitian ini meliputi:1)Tahap pembentukan, 2)Tahap peralihan, 3)Tahap kegiatan, 4)Tahap pengakhiran. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dalam tiga siklus, yang terdiri dari empat kompetensi pada setiap siklusnya yaitu; perencanaan, pelaksanaan, evaluasi dan refleksi. Penelitian ini dilakukan secara kolaboratif dengan guru bimbingan konseling. Adapun alat pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini meliputi observasi dan wawancara dengan teknik analisis data menggunakan presentase. Hasil penelitian menunjukan terdapat peningkatan hasil aktivitas siswa pada setiap siklusnya, pada siklus I memperoleh presentase sebesar 37.5% dalam kategori “kurang baik” pada siklus II memperoleh presentase sebesar 62.5% dalam kategori “baik” dan pada siklus III memperoleh presentase sebesar 75% dalam kategori “baik” hal ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa pelaksanaan layanan bimbingan kelompok dengan teknik sosiodrama dapat meningkatkan kepercayaan diri siswa teruatama kepercayaan diri siswa dalam menyampaikan pendapat.

Abstract

Kecemasan didefinisikan sebagai keadaan psikologis yang ditandai oleh adanya tekanan, ketakutan, kegalauan dan ancaman serta gelisah yang berasal dari lingkungan. Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) adalah teknik menghapuskan emosi dan pikiran negatif yang menjadi sumber positif dan hanya bisa dilakukan melalui ketukan pada titik meridian yang terhubung dan dapat menghilangkan emosi negatif tersebut.Jenis penelitian ini termasuk kedalam Penelitian Tindakan Layanan (PTL). Subjek dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 7 siswi kelas VIII SMPN 14 Kota Jambi dengan inisial ANH, KAK, AAM, HFH, KDR, ADS, FNS. Penelitian ini terdiri dari 3 siklus, dimana setiap siklus terdiri dari Perencanaan, Pelaksanaan, Evaluasi, dan Refleksi. Untuk melihat proses dari setiap siklus yang dilakukan yaitu dengan mengumpulkan lembaran SGS/SUD dan pedoman wawancara serta didukung oleh kriteria keberhasilan.Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa menggunakan Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) dapat mengatasi permasalahan yang dialami oleh siswa yaitu kecemasan terhadap orang lain. Siklus ke-3 memiliki hasil terbaik yaitu dapat mengatasi permasalahan dari siswi dan Dapat disimpulkan hasil intensitas ketakutan yang diukur dari lembaran SGS/SUD pada siklus III terjadi perubahan sangat signifikan. Ini dapat dilihat dari pelaksanaan siklus I, II dan III. Dilihat dari siklus III dapat dikategorikan sudah mencapai 90% dari 100% yang berarti adanya keberhasilan yang bertahap dimulai dari awal proses tindakan pada siklus I sampai siklus III .

Abstract

Optimization of guidance and counseling services is important so that guidance and counseling services really contribute to the achievement of the Nation or school's vision, mission and objectives. The guidance and counseling service program in schools is unlikely to be achieved if it is not managed in a good quality management. This study aims to describe guidance and counseling management in junior and senior high schools in public and private schools in Jakarta Indonesia. The data obtained can be used as a reference and the basis of plans for improvement and development of guidance and counseling management systems in the school. This research uses descriptive quantitative design with survey method. This study obtained a diverse score on the implementation of the BK management system. In general, the aspects that are quite good are the analysis of the needs when planning the program with the instrument, the making of Satlan, and the division of work tasks. In general, the aspects that need improvement are the addition of BK teachers and skills in using IT.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to offer a counseling model for crisis recovery for adolescent victims of Broken Home. This type of research is qualitative research with a grounded theory approach. Data collection techniques using observational instruments, interviews, and documentation. Validity checks use four criteria, namely (1) Trust test, (2) Transferability test, (3) Defendability test, and (4) Conformity test. Furthermore, data analysis was carried out with four stages, namely (1) open coding, (2) axial coding, (3) selective coding, and (4) theoretical note. The results of the study resulted in a model of faith-based counseling. The faith base highlighted by this model is the main advantage, making it effective in guidance and counseling services in Indonesia. The focus of therapy in faith-based counseling is to restore a sense of security in counseling by touching on self-confidence in broken-home adolescents so that it can become a vehicle for developing a variety of potential excellence for adolescents in navigating the dynamics of life. Guidance and counseling are also responsible for creating a sense of security in adolescent victims of broken homes or counseling in changing the way of thinking, behaving, and living culture. Security and affection become the ideal life of humans at the level of personal, family, and community life.

Abstract

Anxiety about speaking in front of the class can be said to be an obstacle in the student learning process. One way to reduce it is to use music therapy. The purpose of this study was to reveal the effectiveness of using music therapy to reduce students' anxiety about speaking in front of the class. This research uses Quasi Experimental Design or quasi-experimental research using Pretest Posttest Nonequivalent Control Group Design. The population in this study were students in class VIII A & VIII B totaling 59 people. The sample in this study was 30 students who were taken by purposive sampling technique. The results of this study indicate that the anxiety of students speaking in front of the class in the experimental class for the pretest is 1546 and for the posttest is 1245. As for the control class, that is for the pretest it is 1454 and for the posttest it is 1340. Based on the results of the t-test calculation, Tcount is obtained which is equal to -2.553. The value of Ttable with Sig. (2-tailed) 0.05, which is 2.160. The hypothesis is accepted or music therapy is effective in reducing students' anxiety about speaking in front of class VIII A SMP Negeri 19 Jambi City. _____________________________________________________________ Kecemasan berbicara di depan kelas dapat dikatakan sebagai penghambat dalam proses belajar siswa. Salah satu cara untuk menguranginya ialah menggunakan terapi musik. Tujuan penelitian ini mengungkapkan efektivitas penggunaan terapi musik untuk mereduksi kecemasan siswa berbicara di depan kelas. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis Quasi Experimental Design atau penelitian eksperimen semu dengan menggunakan Pretest Posttest Nonequivalent Control Group Design. Populasi pada penelitian ini ialah siswa kelas VIII A & VIII B berjumlah 59 orang. Sampel pada penelitian ini berjumlah 30 orang siswa yang diambil dengan teknik purposive sampling. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa kecamasan siswa berbicara di depan kelas pada kelas eksperimen untuk pretest yakni sebesar 1546 dan untuk posttest sebesar 1245. Sedangkan untuk kelas kontrol yakni untuk pretest sebesar 1454 dan untuk posttest 1340. Berdasarkan hasil perhitungan t-test di peroleh Thitung yaitu sebesar -2,553. Adapun nilai dari Ttabel dengan nilai Sig. (2-tailed) 0,05 yaitu sebesar 2,160. Hipotesis dinyatakan diterima atau terapi musik efektif untuk mereduksi kecemasan siswa berbicara di depan kelas VIII A SMP Negeri 19 Kota Jambi.

Abstract

The background of this research is based on phenomena in the field carried out by researchers at SMA N 10 Jambi City, there are several students who experience communication anxiety. Symptoms that can be seen directly are students who are nervous in their opinions, not confident, and embarrassed. The communication anxiety factor is because of the fear of being wrong and not confident, and the fear of being laughed at by other students. This research aims to find out how to apply group guidance services with assertive techniques to reduce students' communication anxiety. The theoretical benefit of this research is that it can be used to develop scientific literature, especially guidance and counseling, while practically it is divided into 3, namely for guidance and counseling teachers, students and researchers.This type of research is Service Action Research (PTL) in group guidance services with assertive techniques. This research was carried out in 3 cycles, where in one cycle there were 2 meetings and each cycle consisted of planning, implementation, evaluation and reflection. To see the process of each cycle, there are questionnaire sheets filled in by students and observation sheets filled out by collaborators. Based on the results obtained after the implementation of cycle I, meeting I, it was 79%, then cycle I, meeting II, 72%, in cycle II, meeting I, 61%, cycle II, meeting II, 59%, continued in cycle III, meeting I, 55%, in cycle III, meeting II reduced to 35%. There is a decrease in communication anxiety each cycle so that assertive techniques with group guidance services can reduce students' communication anxiety.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu mengkaji penggunaan instrumen RIASEC oleh guru BK dan hal-hal yang perlu diperhatikan ketika melakukan analisis data peserta didik. Penulisan artikel ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi literatur. Teknik analisis data adalah reduksi data, display data, dan verifikasi. Kesimpulan dalam penelitian ini adalah RIASEC dapat digunakan oleh guru BK sebagai alat menganalisis kebutuhan peserta didik dengan didasari pada tipologi Holland. Instrumen ini dapat dijadikan sebagai dasar untuk menyusun program dan mengungkap kebutuhan peserta didik dengan tetap mempertimbangkan aspek kepribadian, keinginan, maupun data-data mendukung lain dari peserta didik. Peneliti merekomendasikan untuk menyelenggarakan pelatihan-pelatihan secara sistematis dalam mengoperasionalkan instrumen tersebut sehingga implementasi dapat dilakukan secara tepat dan terukur untuk kemaslahatan siswa.
