Abstract

The advancement of information technology and information systems has a significant impact on various organizations, both in the private and government sectors. This study aims to design an enterprise architecture using the TOGAF ADM framework in the training process in the SME sector at the Cooperatives and SMEs Service. This process was chosen because it is still done manually, resulting in obstacles such as slow data management, lack of transparency, and minimal integration between work units. The study used a qualitative approach with a case study method. Data were obtained through observation, interviews, and document analysis, which were then analyzed using the TOGAF ADM stages, including the Preliminary, Architecture Vision, and Business Architecture phases. The results of the study show that the proposed architectural design can overcome the constraints of the manual training process by presenting an integrated digital solution. This solution can accelerate the training management process, increase transparency, and strengthen coordination between work units.

Abstract

This study focuses on the challenge of low user behavioral intention towards the SIGNAL app, which is an important issue in digital technology adoption. To investigate this issue, research was conducted using a comprehensive framework integrating TAM and TPB methods, with six hypotheses proposed. Data were analyzed using multiple linear regression on questionnaires completed by a sample of SIGNAL users. The results of the analysis showed a significant relationship between perceived usefulness and ease of use and users' attitude towards the app, as well as a strong relationship between users' attitude and behavioral intention to use the app. These findings signify that the more users perceive tangible benefits and ease of use of the app, the more positive their attitude, which in turn drives SIGNAL's adoption intention. However, several hypotheses were not supported by the results of the analysis, including the absence of significant relationships between perceived benefits and users' behavioral intentions, as well as between subjective norms and behavioral intentions. This suggests that although users realize the benefits of the app, social factors and perceived individual control are not significant in determining usage intentions. The implications of these findings provide guidance for digital platform developers to design more effective interventions to increase the use of SIGNAL, as well as facilitate behavior change in the community.

Abstract

Current technological developments have also driven transformation in payment systems, one of which is through the implementation of a non-cash lifestyle digital wallet, such as DANA, an application used as a medium for storing and transacting electronic money via smartphone devices. Although the number of DANA users and transaction values ??have shown a significant increase, the adoption of technology does not always have a positive impact. There are still problems, one of which is that some users report delays in incoming balances. The success of implementing technological innovation is influenced by various factors, one of which can be measured using the Technology Readiness Index (TRI) instrument developed by Parasuraman. This study aims to identify factors that inhibit the use of DANA Digital Wallets in Indonesia. The results of the analysis using SPSS version 26 software show that the TRI value is at 3.00994 which is included in the moderate category, proving that the resulting influence is standard, with the highest value on the Discomfort variable (0.77892) and the lowest value on the Insecurity variable (0.72978).

Abstract

With the rapid advancement of digital technology and the growing demand for fast and practical transaction systems, the use of digital wallets (E-Wallets) among the younger generation—particularly Generation Z—has significantly increased. This study aims to identify the behavioral factors influencing E-Wallet usage among Gen Z by applying the Theory of Planned Behavior (TPB). This theoretical framework includes three main constructs believed to influence Behavioral Intention (BI) and actual user behavior: Attitude Toward the Behavior (ATB), Subjective Norm (SN), and Perceived Behavioral Control (PBC). The study involved 100 Gen Z university students in Pekanbaru, selected through purposive sampling. A quantitative research method was employed, and data were analyzed using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM). Instrument validity was tested through discriminant validity, while reliability was assessed using Cronbach’s Alpha and Composite Reliability. The findings reveal that all three variables—Attitude Toward the Behavior, Subjective Norm, and Perceived Behavioral Control—have a significant influence on Behavioral Intention to use E-Wallets among Gen Z in Pekanbaru. Furthermore, both Behavioral Intention and Perceived Behavioral Control significantly affect the actual usage behavior of E-Wallets. Theoretically, these results support the applicability of the TPB framework in the context of digital payment systems. Practically, E-Wallet providers are advised to focus on enhancing users’ positive attitudes, leveraging social influence, and improving ease of use for Gen Z. However, this study is limited by its exclusion of external factors beyond the TPB model that may also influence E-Wallet usage behavior.

Abstract

The rapid advancement of digital technology has led to various innovations, one of which is ChatGPT—a language model powered by artificial intelligence (AI) that has gained significant popularity among younger generations, particularly Generation Z. This study aims to analyze the factors influencing the acceptance and use of ChatGPT among Gen Z by integrating two theoretical frameworks: the Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology (UTAUT) and the Theory of Planned Behavior (TPB). Based on data analysis using Structural Equation Modeling with the Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS) approach, the research model demonstrates strong explanatory power, with an R² value of 0.722 for behavioral intention and 0.687 for use behavior. This indicates that the variables within the model account for a substantial proportion of the variance in the intention and actual use of ChatGPT. Out of the ten hypotheses tested, only four relationships were found to be statistically significant: Perceived Behavioral Control → Behavioral Intention, Perceived Behavioral Control → Use Behavior, Habit → Behavioral Intention, and Behavioral Intention → Use Behavior. The study involved 96 Gen Z respondents residing in Pekanbaru, selected using a simple random sampling technique. Data were collected through the random distribution of questionnaires in various WhatsApp groups. The findings indicate that individual perceptions of control and habitual use play a crucial role in determining both the intention and actual behavior of using ChatGPT. In contrast, variables such as subjective norm, attitude toward behavior, performance expectancy, effort expectancy, hedonic motivation, and facilitating conditions did not show significant influence in this context. These results suggest that internal factors—particularly perceived behavioral control and user habits—are more dominant in influencing ChatGPT usage among Gen Z than external or social factors. Therefore, it is essential to design features that enhance user autonomy and promote the formation of positive usage habits.

Abstract

The Final Project Information System (SITASI) website plays a critical role in supporting academic administrative processes at the Faculty of Science and Technology, UIN Sultan Syarif Kasim Riau. This study aims to evaluate the website’s security level following recent maintenance using penetration testing, conducted with the OWASP Zed Attack Proxy (ZAP) tool. The testing revealed eight vulnerabilities, including two classified as medium risk, four as low risk, and two informational. The medium-risk issues involved the absence of an Anti-CSRF token and the lack of a Content Security Policy (CSP), both of which could expose the system to attacks such as CSRF and XSS. The low-risk findings included loading JavaScript from third-party domains, information disclosure via X-Powered-By and Server headers, and the absence of HTTP Strict Transport Security (HSTS). The two informational findings involved suspicious comments in the code and improper Cache-Control settings. Remediation actions were implemented based on OWASP security best practices, including the integration of CSRF tokens, configuration of CSP and HSTS headers, and removal of sensitive information from server responses. A follow-up evaluation confirmed that all identified risks had been successfully mitigated. This study highlights that penetration testing combined with standard-based mitigation is effective in enhancing web application security resilience, particularly within academic environments.

Abstract

The advancement of digital technology has revolutionized financial services through the development of mobile banking applications such as BRImo. This study aims to analyze user acceptance of Bank Rakyat Indonesia’s BRImo mobile banking application by integrating two theoretical approaches: the Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology (UTAUT) and the Theory of Planned Behavior (TPB). The core issue addressed is that despite BRImo being one of the most popular mobile banking applications in Indonesia, various user complaints still persist, potentially affecting its acceptance level. Identified problems include technical issues such as account blocking, login errors, and undelivered transaction notifications. This research employs a quantitative approach through the distribution of Likert-scale questionnaires to active university students in Pekanbaru who use the BRImo application. The results show that the model explains 20.0% of the variance in behavioral intention (R² = 0.200) and 24.3% of the variance in actual use behavior (R² = 0.243). Of the twelve proposed hypotheses, only three relationships were found to be significant: Attitude Toward Behavior on Behavioral Intention, Facilitating Conditions on Use Behavior, and Perceived Behavioral Control on Use Behavior. Conversely, variables such as Performance Expectancy, Effort Expectancy, Subjective Norms, Habit, Hedonic Motivation, and Behavioral Intention showed no significant effect. These findings indicate that internal factors such as user attitudes and behavioral control, along with external factors like the availability of support facilities, play an important role in driving actual usage behavior of the BRImo application. The study provides valuable insights, suggesting that users’ perceptions of accessibility and technical support have a stronger influence on actual usage than mere intention to use.
