Abstract

Internal quality assurance in schools is a crucial aspect in efforts to improve the quality of education. The application of information technology, such as the SIMAKER S/M application, offers a potential solution to optimize the quality assurance process. This community service aims to provide SIMAKER S/M application training in conducting internal quality assurance in schools in Semarang City. This community service consists of four main stages: (1) Socialization through Focus Group Discussion (FGD), (3) Mentoring, and (4) Evaluation; user satisfaction surveys show that the SIMAKER S/M application greatly facilitates school administration work related to internal quality assurance in schools. The average user satisfaction score is 4.24 for ease of use, 4.42 for increased transparency, and 4.48 for overall benefits. The implementation of the application also succeeded in helping training participants related to the implementation of internal quality assurance and facilitating more accurate reporting. From the results of the community service activities, the results of the responses and feedback from participants were considered very useful in efforts to conduct internal quality assurance in digital-based schools. After conducting self-evaluation through internal quality assurance, it is hoped that schools can follow up on aspects that need to be improved.

Abstract

This research aims to develop and test whether the problem-based learning (PBL) teaching module that the author created in the strategic management course can increase students' cognitive flexibility. The research method used is Research and Development (R&D) with the ADDIE model, which includes the Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation stages. The sample in this study was students of the Office Administration Education Study Program, Semarang State University, class of 2021, with 109 students divided into three classes.  Furthermore, the results of the module that has been developed are tested regarding the increase in the average cognitive flexibility score after carrying out the pre-test and post-test. Based on research results, the experimental class that used the PBL module showed an average increase in cognitive flexibility score of 17.3 points, while the control class only increased by 4.4 points. Statistical tests showed a significant increase in the experimental class (p < 0.001), while the control class did not show a significant increase (p = 0.065). Meanwhile, student activities in the experimental class showed active participation in the learning process, problem-solving involvement, and better teamwork than in the control class. Student feedback indicates that PBL makes learning more enjoyable, helps students think critically, and is relevant to the real world.

Abstract

Pandemi COVID-19 telah memaksa dunia pendidikan untuk beradaptasi dengan metode pembelajaran daring. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan E-Modul Manajemen Perkantoran berbasis Bot Telegram sebagai alat pendukung pembelajaran daring. E-Modul ini dirancang untuk memberikan pengalaman belajar yang interaktif dan mudah diakses oleh mahasiswa dan dosen di tengah keterbatasan yang disebabkan oleh pandemi. Dengan memanfaatkan aplikasi media sosial telegram yang populer dan mudah diakses, E-Modul ini diharapkan dapat membantu fleksibilitas belajar dari dimasa pandemi bagi mahasiswa yang mengambil mata kuliah manajemen perkantoran secara daring atau pembelajaran jarak jauh. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Research and Development (R&D) dengan model ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). Hasil penelitian ini berupa e-modul manajemen perkantoran berbasis bot telegram yang telah diuji oleh ahli materi, ahli media, dan pengguna (mahasiswa). Dari hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan E-Modul ini layak untuk digunakan dalam membantu fleksibilitas belajar Mahasiswa dalam pembelajaran daring dimasa pandemi. Selain itu, selain itu juga terdapat saran dan masukkan yaitu berupa penambahan ruang diskusi dan umpan balik untuk mahasiswa.

Abstract

There are two main aspects of the problems faced by MGMP MPLB teachers in Semarang City that urgently need to be resolved, namely; (1) low conceptual and practical knowledge of teachers related to integrated differentiated learning design for Social Emotional Competence (KSE); and (2) minimal teacher literacy in utilizing digital tools in creating interactive learning websites and Artificial Intelligence as a tool in compiling interactive learning media. The solutions offered to solve these problems are (1) Socialization of the concept of integrated differentiated learning design for KSE; (2) Training in compiling integrated differentiated learning teaching modules for KSE; (3) Training in creating interactive learning websites using Google Sites; (4) Training in creating assignments and educational games along with evaluation instruments using eduaide.ai; (5) Training in creating learning podcasts using Google NotebookLM; (6) Training in creating learning videos using pictory.ai; (7) Training in creating learning comics using comicai.ai. The implementation methods used in this community service program are in the form of socialization, training, and mentoring and evaluation. The main achievements of this program are reflected in the substantial increase in teacher knowledge and skills. The evaluation results showed that there was a significant increase in the average teacher knowledge score from pre-test to post-test, indicating the effectiveness of the comprehensive training method.

Abstract

Transformasi digital dalam pengelolaan data kependudukan mendorong pemerintah untuk menggunakan Identitas Kependudukan Digital (IKD) untuk meningkatkan efisiensi dan kualitas layanan publik. Namun, ada tantangan terkait kesiapan dan penerimaan masyarakat terhadap IKD, terutama di Kota Semarang. Studi ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi sikap masyarakat dan kesiapan mereka terhadap administrasi kependudukan digital menggunakan pendekatan Technology Readiness Acceptance Model (TRAM). Metode penelitian kuantitatif digunakan melalui survei pengguna IKD di Kota Semarang, dengan pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner dan analisis data dengan PLS-SEM melalui SmartPLS 4. Temuan menunjukkan bahwa optimisme dan inovasi berdampak positif pada kemudahan penggunaan dan kegunaan yang dirasakan, sementara rasa tidak nyaman dan ketidakamanan berdampak negatif. Keduanya menunjukkan hubungan kuat dengan niat menggunakan IKD. Hasil ini menekankan pentingnya kesiapan teknologi masyarakat dalam mendukung penerimaan layanan administrasi kependudukan digital. Studi ini dapat membantu pemerintah daerah merumuskan strategi untuk meningkatkan adopsi IKD.

Abstract

Lulusan Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan (SMK) menempati posisi tertinggi dalam tingkat pengangguran terbuka dibandingkan dengan jenjang pendidikan lainnya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh praktik kerja industri, soft skills dan motivasi memasuki dunia kerja terhadap kesiapan kerja siswa kelas XII program keahlian Manajemen Perkantoran di SMK Teuku Umar Semarang. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan pendekatan asosiatif kausal dengan sampel sebanyak 60 siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa praktik kerja industri berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kesiapan kerja siswa dengan nilai signifikansi sebesar 0,037 (< 0,05). Soft skills memiliki pengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kesiapan kerja siswa dengan nilai signifikansi sebesar 0,000 (< 0,05). Selain itu, motivasi memasuki dunia kerja memiliki pengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kesiapan kerja siswa dengan nilai signifikansi sebesar 0,016 (< 0,05). Temuan penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa praktik kerja industri, soft skills dan motivasi memasuki dunia kerja merupakan faktor penting yang berperan dalam meningkatkan kesiapan kerja siswa.

Abstract

Latar Belakang: Salah satu pendekatan yang dapat digunakan untuk memudahkan integrasi deep learning dalam pembelajaran adalah melalui pemanfaatan website interaktif. Website interaktif dapat digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran berbasis teknologi yang menarik dan membantu siswa memahami konsep-konsep yang kompleks. Tujuan: Tujuan kegiatan pengabdian ini untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dasar deep learning, merancang pembelajaran yang menarik dan interaktif, serta memanfaatkan website sebagai platform pembelajaran bagi guru. Metode: Metode yang digunakan yaitu pendampingan desain pembelajaran, meliputi tahapan analisis kebutuhan, perencanaan program kegiatan, pelaksanaan kegiatan, evaluasi dan monitoring menggunakan pre-test dan post-test, dan tindak lanjut. Mitra kegiatan pengabdian yaitu MGMP Manajemen Perkantoran dan Layanan Bisnis (MPLB) dengan peserta yang terdiri dari 29 orang guru dari Kabupaten dan Kota Magelang. Hasil: Hasil pelaksanaan kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa pelatihan ini berhasil meningkatkan pengetahuan teoritis maupun keterampilan praktis guru dalam mendesain pembelajaran deep learning berbasis website interaktif. Secara umum, program ini berdampak positif terhadap peningkatan kapasitas dan kualitas guru, sejalan dengan fungsi MGMP sebagai wadah pengembangan profesional guru. Kesimpulan: Penguatan infrastruktur dan dukungan teknologi perlu ditindaklanjuti serta didukung dengan adanya pendampingan lanjutan dan intensif untuk memastikan guru mampu mengimplementasikan pembelajaran deep learning secara mandiri dan berkelanjutan.

Abstract

  Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis secara mendalam serta mengidentifikasi kendala dan pendukung yang terdapat pada kegiatan pengelolaan arsip dinamis inaktif di Dinas Kearsipan dan Perpustakaan Provinsi Jawa Tengah. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah arsiparis yang memahami terkait pengelolaan arsip dinamis inaktif. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif deskriptif, dengan teknik observasi, wawancara mendalam terhadap informan, dan dokumentasi sebagai instrumen pengumpulan data. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis dengan reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan/verifikasi, serta melakukan keabsahan data dengan triangulasi teknik dan member check. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pengelolaan arsip dinamis inaktif di Dinas Kearsipan dan Perpustakaan Provinsi Jawa Tengah pada dasarnya telah berjalan dengan cukup baik, mencakup kegiatan pemindahan, penataan dan penyimpanan, pelayanan, dan pemusnahan arsip yang telah diimplementasikan secara terstruktur dan sistematis serta sesuai dengan prosedur yang telah ditetapkan mengikuti Peraturan Gubernur Jawa Tengah Nomor 16 Tahun 2022 tentang Pedoman Pengelolaan Arsip Dinamis Provinsi Jawa Tengah. Namun demikian, masih terdapat kendala yang terjadi, yaitu minimnya tenaga arsiparis, fasilitas kearsipan kurang memadai, dan keterbatasan anggaran. Temuan ini menegaskan pentingnya ketersediaan sumber daya manusia, sarana dan prasarana, serta dukungan anggaran dalam mewujudkan manajemen arsip yang efektif. Sehubungan dengan hal tersebut dukungan kebijakan dan komitmen lembaga kearsipan daerah provinsi sangat diperlukan guna mengoptimalkan pengelolaan arsip dinamis inaktif.   This study aims to analyze in depth and identify the obstacles and supporting factors in the management of inactive dynamic archives at the Archives and Library Service of Central Java Province. The subjects in this study were archivists who understand the management of inactive dynamic archives. The research method used was descriptive qualitative, with observation techniques, in-depth interviews with informants, and documentation as data collection instruments. The data obtained were analyzed through data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions/verification, as well as conducting data validity with technical triangulation and member checking. The results of the study indicate that the management of inactive dynamic archives at the Archives and Library Service of Central Java Province has basically been running quite well, including the activities of transferring, organizing and storing, servicing, and destroying archives that have been implemented in a structured and systematic manner and in accordance with established procedures following Central Java Governor Regulation Number 16 of 2022 concerning Guidelines for the Management of Dynamic Archives of Central Java Province. However, there are still obstacles that occur, namely the lack of archivists, inadequate archival facilities, and budget limitations. These findings underscore the importance of human resources, facilities and infrastructure, and budgetary support in achieving effective archives management. Therefore, policy support and commitment from provincial archives institutions are essential to optimize the management of inactive archives.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of self-efficacy, outcome expectations, and career interests on the work readiness of students in the Office Administration Education Study Program. This research employed a quantitative approach with a causal design. The population consisted of 123 students from the 2023 cohort, with a minimum sample of 94 respondents determined using the Slovin formula and proportionate stratified random sampling technique. Data were collected from 107 respondents through a Likert-scale questionnaire. Data analysis was conducted using multiple linear regression with IBM SPSS Statistics version 26. The results showed that self-efficacy, outcome expectations, and career interests had a positive and significant effect on students’ work readiness, both partially and simultaneously. Among the three variables, outcome expectations emerged as the most dominant factor influencing students’ work readiness. These findings indicate that expectations regarding career outcomes play an important role in encouraging students to better prepare for entering the workforce. The novelty of this study lies in examining the three variables in an integrated model within the context of Office Administration Education students, which has been relatively limited in previous studies. This study contributes to the development of work readiness research and provides a basis for designing learning strategies and career guidance programs in higher education.

Abstract

The implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum in Vocational High Schools (SMK) represents a significant transformation in Indonesia's national education system. This study aims to describe the implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum in the Office Management and Business Services (MPLB) program at SMK Negeri 9 Semarang, identify supporting and inhibiting factors, and analyze teacher and student responses. A qualitative descriptive approach was employed with data collected through in-depth interviews, non-participant observation, and documentation. Informants comprised the Vice Principal for Curriculum, two productive subject teachers, and six Grade XII students. Findings reveal that SMK Negeri 9 Semarang has implemented the Merdeka Curriculum since 2022/2023 using a phased approach, integrating Project-Based Learning (PBL) and the Deep Learning pedagogical approach across all subjects. Two P5 co-curricular projects were implemented: batik ciprat making (Class X, 180 JP, 359 students) and a digital campaign on waste management (Class XI, 144 JP, 355 students). Supporting factors include institutional training, the Skandilan learning community, university and industry partnerships, and ICT facilities. Inhibiting factors include heavy teacher workloads, time management challenges in PBL, and technology adaptation difficulties among senior teachers. Students responded positively, recognizing that PBL is more engaging and relevant to workplace experience. These findings contribute empirical evidence on Merdeka Curriculum implementation in the Office Administration field. ABSTRAK Implementasi Kurikulum Merdeka di Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan (SMK) merupakan transformasi besar dalam sistem pendidikan nasional Indonesia. Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan implementasi Kurikulum Merdeka pada Program Keahlian Manajemen Perkantoran dan Layanan Bisnis (MPLB) di SMK Negeri 9 Semarang, mengidentifikasi faktor pendukung dan penghambat, serta menganalisis respons guru dan siswa. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara mendalam, observasi nonpartisipan, dan studi dokumentasi. Informan terdiri dari Waka Kurikulum, dua guru produktif MPLB, dan enam siswa kelas XII. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa SMK Negeri 9 Semarang mengimplementasikan Kurikulum Merdeka sejak 2022/2023 secara bertahap, mengintegrasikan Project-Based Learning (PBL) dan pendekatan Pembelajaran Mendalam (Deep Learning) di seluruh mata pelajaran. Dua proyek kokurikuler P5 dilaksanakan: pembuatan batik ciprat (kelas X, 180 JP, 359 siswa) dan kampanye digital pengelolaan sampah (kelas XI, 144 JP, 355 siswa). Faktor pendukung meliputi pelatihan institusional, komunitas belajar Skandilan, kemitraan DUDI dan perguruan tinggi, serta fasilitas teknologi. Faktor penghambat mencakup beban kerja guru, manajemen waktu PBL, dan adaptasi teknologi guru senior. Siswa merespons positif karena PBL lebih menarik dan relevan dengan pengalaman kerja.
