Abstract

This research focuses on; (1) behavior cognitive therapy process with self-management techniques in dealing with the discipline of learning of an Islamic middle school student at Tanwirul Afkar Sidoarjo. (2) the final results of the behavior cognitive therapy process with self-management techniques in managing discipline learning of a Tanwirul Afkar Sidoarjo Islamic middle school student.In answering these problems, researchers used qualitative research methods with descriptive case study analysis in which data collection was carried out through observation, interviews and documentation presented in the data presentation and descriptive analysis chapters by comparing before and after the therapy process. In analyzing the process of self-management techniques to improve student learning discipline used is the form of observations and interviews that are presented in the chapter on data presentation and data analysis. In this study was found that the process of self-management techniques to improve student learning discipline through several stages, namely: 1. Making self-monitoring with counselees; 2. Giving rewards if the counselee has reached the target; 3. Making a contract or agreement by looking at the consequences or goals that the counselee wants; 4. Mastering of stimuli. The final results in this study are quite successful because they can full fill four indicators of success. These results can be seen through changes in the counselee towards the better and can improve the discipline of learning.

Abstract

Briquettes are solid fuels derived from biomass waste obtained from the compression of the shaped powdered material. This study aims to obtain the physical characteristics and flame characteristics of leaf briquettes of Javanese bamboo (Gigantochloa Apus) and ori bamboo (Bambusa Arundinacea). The method used in this research is varying the pressing load of 5 kg, 10 kg, 15 kg, and the size of the briquette powder (particles) of 20, 40, 60, a cylinder-shaped mold with a diameter of 38 mm and an inner hole diameter of 9 mm. The analysis includes the characteristics of the fire products (area, color and temperature) and the surface morphology of the briquettes. The pressing load affects the characteristics of the resulting flame. The results showed that the type of bamboo, the size of the biomass particles and the pressing load affected the characteristics of the flame.

Abstract

This article explores the values of domestic counseling reflected in the story of Umar bin Khattab in Kitab Uqudulijain. Umar bin Khattab, one of the outstanding caliphs, is known for his decisive leadership, progressive legal and administrative reforms, and dedication in expanding the territory of Islam while upholding the principles of justice and the welfare of the people. In the context of the household, Umar set an example through the application of values such as fairness, responsibility, and honest communication. These values are in line with the principles of counseling guidance that prioritize emotional balance, wise decision-making, and maintenance of harmonious relationships. As a leader, Umar always listened to the aspirations of his people fairly, an attitude that can be applied in the family to create respectful relationships. Umar bin Khattab's example shows the importance of building a solid household foundation based on Islamic values. By integrating these principles, families can achieve harmony and happiness, while instilling strong moral values to the next generation.

Abstract

This study discusses efforts to rehabilitate drug abusers using Motivational Interviewing counseling and Cognitive Behavior Therapy.  This research uses qualitative research methods with a case study approach. The research was conducted at the Pratama Clinic of BNN, East Java Province. The subjects in this study were two teenagers with different backgrounds and participated in narcotics counseling at the BNN Pratama Clinic in East Java Province. Data collection was carried out by observation, interviews and providing pre-test and post-test questionnaires. It was shown that before administering the intervention got a score of 11.3 and 11.7. Then after the intervention administration got a score of 12.7 and 12.8, meaning that Motivational Interviewing Counseling and Cognitive Behaviour Therapy can be applied in efforts to rehabilitate drug abusers in adolescents.

Abstract

Seiring berjalannya waktu berbagai persoalan yang dihadapi para Guru Bimbingan dan Konseling di sekolah semakin komplek, tidak surut tapi malah bertambah banyak. Berkenaan dengan kenakalan siswa (peserta didik) di sekolah mulai dari bulliying antara siswa hingga penganiyaan Guru oleh siswa (agresif peserta didik). Konselor (Guru BK) sebagai salah satu Profesi yang dapat memberikan bantuan kepada individu yang menghadapi masalah untuk kembali kepada nilai-nilai berkarakter dan akhlakul karimah (fitrah), mengentaskan masalah yang dihadapi siswanya. Bimbingan dan konseling hadir untuk menghadapi berbagai masalah yang dialami siswa, dengan berbagai bentuk peningkatan pelayanan, teknik maupun strategi, yang dapat memberikan solusi pada masalah peserta didik menuju sikap kompetitif dan sesuai kebutuhan masyarakat.

Abstract

Pelatihan hipno konseling untuk meningkatkan kompetensi konselor guru BK Madrasah Tsanawiyah Surabaya ini yang menunjukkan gap untuk diteliti lebih lanjut. Studi literatur terkait hipno konseling dapat menjadi pilihan bagi guru BK untuk meningkatkan kompetensinya dalam melakukan konseling. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bentuk strategi dan dampak hipno konseling sebagai strategi konseling untuk konselor di Komunitas Musyawarah Guru Bimbingan dan Konseling (MGBK) MTS Kota Surabaya. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Participatory Action Research (PAR). Objek penelitian yaitu, MTsN 3 Surabaya, atau Madrasah Tsanawiyah Negeri 3 Surabaya, adalah salah satu sekolah menengah pertama berbasis Islam di Surabaya. Sekolah ini berlokasi di Jl. Medokan Asri Tengah, Medokan Ayu, Kecamatan Rungkut, Kota Surabaya. MTsN 3 Surabaya didirikan pada tanggal 25 November 1995 dan sebelumnya dikenal dengan nama MTsN Rungkut Surabaya. Saat ini, sekolah ini memiliki sekitar 865 siswa dan 64 guru serta staf. m dan setelah mengikuti program. Hasil pelatihan hipno konseling diterapkan dengan langkah-langkah utama sebagai berikut: hasil dari pelatihan hipno konseling menggunakan metode PAR sebagai berikut: (1) Identifikasi masalah dalam penelitian ini memiliki dua masalah yaitu masalah utama dan masalah pendukung. Kedua masalah itu muncul karena krisis pelatihan up grade life skill pada Guru BK Madrasah Tsanawiyah Surabaya. Identifikasi masalah ini akan dibahas detail pada pembahasan analisis data. (2) Pengembangan strategi intervensi dilakukan adanya narasi program yang akan dibahas pada pembahasan analisis data. (3) Refleksi dan evaluasi hasil pelatihan, di mana konselor mengevaluasi perubahan dalam keterampilan konseling sebelum dan setelah mengikuti program.

Abstract

This article presents the concept of the soul from Ibn Sinā's perspective and its substantiation in Islamic education. The soul is one of the major psychological topics which has been explored by Muslim scholars. Among them was Ibn Sinā, a Muslim philosopher, who emphasized the study of the human soul. His mental conception of the soul was so well-developed that it received much attention and appreciation from later Islamic philosophers such as al-Ghazāli, Fakhruddin al-Rāzi, Ibn Rushd and Western scholars. This article explores Ibn Sinā's concept of the soul and its substance in Islamic education. The methodology employed is a literature review together with qualitative research using exploratory, descriptive, and analytical approaches. Ibn Sinā argued that the soul is a living spiritual substance inspiring the body and forms the infrastructure for acquiring knowledge and transforming it in real life. In contrast to the body, the soul is immaterial and eternal. Islamic education cannot be separated from the psychological elements elucidated by Ibn Sinā and must incorporate relevant psychological aspects in order to fully develop the potential of students towards becoming exemplary human beings (insān kāmil).

Abstract

Dampak buruk tersebut diantaranya adalah kecemasan yang disebabkan perasaan terancam baik bagi penyintas (pernah terinfeksi), keluarga penyintas bahkan masyarakat yang sama sekali belum pernah terinfeksi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui intensitas kecemasan yang diakibatkan oleh pandemic ini, serta bagaimana efektifitas konseling islami dengan Teknik Desensitisasi sistematis sebagai integrase teknik yang relatife baru untuk mengatasi kecemasan akibat pandemic. Penelitian dirancang dengan metode single subject pre-post test design dengan melibatkan 3 muslimah yang mengalami kecemasan berat akibat pandemic COVID-19. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah skala kecemasan diri yang disusun dengan skala linkert sebagai alat pretest dan posttest. Data yang diperloeh kemudia diuji dengan analisis statistic non parametric wilcoxon test.  Konseli diajak untuk melakukan relfeksi serta secara bertahap mengurangi sensitifitas pada dampak pandemic melalui narasi-narasi berbasis agama yang pada akhirnya membuat ketenangan pada diri konseli. Meskipun begitu tetap ditemukan resistensi pada diri konseli terutama disebabkan oleh dorongan pikiran rasional mereka yang selalu mempertentangkan narasi agama dengan kondisi factual di masyarakat. Hasilnya diketahui bahwa pendekatanan keislaman cukup efektif untuk mengatasi kecemasan tersebut. Hal ini dibuktikan dengan Asymp. Sig (2-tailed) diperoleh 0,010 < 0.05 yang berarti terjadi penurunan secara signifikan.

Abstract

The focus of this research is: 1. What is the condition of the counselee before the Application of Behavior Theory by Using Self-Management Techniques to Overcome Lack of Time Management in College Student? 2. What is the process of applying Behavior Theory by Using Self-Management Techniques to Overcome Lack of Time Management in College Student? 3. What is the impact of the Application of Behavior Theory by Using Self-Management Techniques to Overcome the Lack of Time Management in College Student?. To be able to answer these problems, in the research above, this study used descriptive qualitative research methods. The data collection techniques are interviews, field observations which have been described in the data presentation chapter. The implementation process is based on the five-step counseling process, namely: problem identification, diagnosis, prognosis, treatment or therapy, evaluation and follow-up. The end result of this study is that after carrying out the counseling process and applying behavior therapy with self-management techniques, there is a change in the counselee's behavior. These changes can be seen from the counselee who is able to control himself and manage his time well. These changes are seen gradually after the treatment process is applied
