Abstract

In the current era of globalization, information technology is rapidly advancing, supporting almost all operations with technology-based applications, including Android smartphones. This technology facilitates access to information and data processing, thereby enhancing the efficiency and productivity of various sectors. Many service businesses now promote themselves through social media and print media, offering wide reach and direct interaction with customers. Service businesses, including car rental services, need to adopt technology to efficiently and effectively meet customer needs. Conventional car rental often faces issues such as vehicle condition discrepancies, complex administrative processes, and difficulties in monitoring orders and customer data. CV. Sahabat Maju Borneo in Kubu Raya Regency, West Kalimantan, also experiences difficulties in monitoring orders, facing customer data uncertainties, and constraints in selecting types of cars and knowing applicable rates. To address these issues, the author has developed a service application. This application allows business owners to monitor orders, view customer data, review rates, and record available car data. Customers can request rentals, choose cars, access rental rules, and know rates through this application. The "Sahabat Maju Borneo" application is effective in addressing various problems faced by conventional car rentals. This digital innovation enhances customer satisfaction and business productivity, and supports business sustainability in the modern technology era. Abstract

Abstract: The purpose of this study is to determine the competency of SMK graduates with Dudi competence (Business World/Industry World). There is still a gap between the skills possessed by vocational high school graduates and the needs of the business and industry world. This is due to the mismatch between the competencies taught in education and the existing technological developments. Multiple Criteria Utility Assessment (MCUA) is a method used in decision-making that involves multiple criteria or factors that need to be evaluated. This method helps in selecting the best alternative based on objective assessments of various relevant factors. It involves collecting data on criteria relevant to decision-making and then assigning weights or importance to each criterion. Then, each alternative is evaluated based on these criteria, and a value or score is given for each alternative on each criterion. These scores are then used to calculate the utility value for each alternative. The results obtained show that Problem A, which is communication skills with a total value of 165 after being multiplied by the weight, becomes the first priority for improvement. Problem B, management skills, has a total value of 155, making it the third priority for improvement. The total value of 155 becomes the second priority for improvement. Overall, it is necessary to design an integrated and sustainable program in schools or educational institutions to enhance students' communication, planning and organizational skills, as well as their management abilities. Collaboration with industries and the implementation of active and project-based teaching methods can provide practical experiences to students. It is also important to involve experts and industry practitioners in designing programs that are relevant to the current job market needs.

Abstract

The buying and selling process can now be through non-physical transactions or employing digital media. Physical transactions require buyers and sellers to meet to exchange goods or services directly. However, problems arise when sellers are located outside the area, making it difficult for buyers to access them. Technological advances provide solutions for buyers and sellers who are separated by distance through E-Commerce. E-commerce offers many conveniences in marketing goods or services. Sellers can market their products widely by providing various variants. Marketing via e-commerce does not require a physical store to display products, thereby reducing costs. Meanwhile, buyers can also easily choose the products they want. However, the facts in the buying and selling process via social media generate a risk of loss for consumers and business actors due to the possibility for fraud that could be performed by one of the parties. Losses experienced by business actors are caused by failure to fulfill the achievements that should be carried out by the consumer. It is because numerous people do not understand the principles of security in online transactions, such as verifying the identity of the merchant or customer, security in payment procedures, and other factors that can help deter crime. As a result, criminal cases often occur which cause losses in the digital market, as if cyberspace has no legal rules. The presence of Law Number 19 of 2016 concerning amendments to Law Number 11 of 2008 concerning Information and Electronic Transactions and Law Number 8 of 1999 concerning Consumer Protection is a solution to protect actors who transact in E-Commerce.

Abstract

Data yang digunakan meliputi nilai kontrak, bobot pekerjaan (PBP), Budgeted Cost of Work Scheduled (BCWS), Budgeted Cost of Work Performed (BCWP), Actual Cost of Work Performed (ACWP), serta hasil kuesioner untuk penilaian mutu pekerjaan. Kata Kunci : Proyek Konstruksi, CPI, SPI, Mutu Pekerjaan, EVM ABSTRACTThis study analyzes the cost, time, and quality performance of the Payakumbuh State Polytechnic Learning Laboratory Building Construction project using the Earned Value Management (EVM) approach. The study aims to assess budget efficiency, schedule performance, and the relationship between mutual achievement and cost and time control within the triple constraint framework of project management. The data used include the contract value, work weight (PBP), Budgeted Cost of Work Scheduled (BCWS), Budgeted Cost of Work Performed (BCWP), Actual Cost of Work Performed (ACWP), and the results of a questionnaire to assess work quality. Cost analysis was conducted using Cost Variance (CV) and the Cost Performance Index (CPI), while time analysis used Schedule Variance (SV), Schedule Performance Index (SPI), and the estimated project completion date (EDC). Work quality was assessed using a questionnaire instrument administered to 24 respondents, which was tested for validity and reliability. The results showed that the project was running below budget (CPI > 1; positive CV) and ahead of schedule (SPI > 1; positive SV). The estimated project completion time is 207–208 days, shorter than the planned duration of 210 days. The quality assessment is good, indicating that cost efficiency and time acceleration do not negatively impact work quality. Scientifically, this study demonstrates that the EVM approach can be used as an integrated performance evaluation tool to control costs and time without sacrificing quality, and provides a basis for more systematic decision-making in the management of building construction projects at the regional level. Keywords: Construction Project, CPI, SPI, Work Quality, EVM
