Abstract

This research was motivated by the low mastery of multiplication concepts among elementary school students, which is caused by conventional learning that focuses on memorization. Such learning does not actively involve students and does not optimally utilize concrete learning media, resulting in less meaningful understanding of multiplication concepts. Therefore, the use of learning media that can help students understand multiplication concepts more effectively is needed. This study aimed to determine the improvement of students’ mastery of multiplication concepts in Grade III of SD Negeri 25 Banda Aceh through the use of Multiplication Board media. This research employed a quantitative approach with a pre-experimental design using a one group pretest–posttest design. The research subjects consisted of 30 students of Grade IIIA at SD Negeri 25 Banda Aceh. The research instruments included pretest and posttest questions to measure students’ mastery of multiplication concepts, as well as observation sheets to assess teacher and student activities during the learning process. The data were analyzed using a normality test and hypothesis testing with a t-test. The observation results showed that teacher activity reached a percentage of 95.33% and student activity reached 94.84%, both of which were categorized as very good. The t-test results indicated that the t-value was 35.66, while the t-table value was 1.699, meaning that the t-value was higher than the t-table value. This indicates an improvement in students’ mastery of multiplication concepts after using the Multiplication Board media. Based on these findings, it can be concluded that the use of Multiplication Board media can improve the mastery of multiplication concepts among Grade III students at SD Negeri 25 Banda Aceh. This study suggests that teachers use concrete learning media and encourage students to be more active in the learning process to enhance their understanding of multiplication concepts.

Abstract

This study aimed to develop an animated video learning media that is valid, practical, and effective in improving the cognitive abilities of early childhood students in Group A1 at TKIT Baitusshalihin, Banda Aceh. This research employed the Research and Development (R&D) method using the ADDIE development model, which consists of five stages: Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. The research subjects were 20 children aged 4–5 years. Data were collected through observation, interviews, questionnaires, pretests, and posttests. The data were analyzed using qualitative and quantitative descriptive analysis, as well as the Shapiro–Wilk normality test and the Paired Sample t-Test with the assistance of IBM SPSS Statistics 26. The results showed that the animated video media achieved a very high level of validity, obtaining 100% from the media expert, 93.75% from the material expert, and 95% from the language expert. The practicality test result reached 100%, categorized as very practical. The effectiveness test demonstrated an increase in the average cognitive ability score of children from 31 in the pretest to 90 in the posttest. The normality test indicated that the data were normally distributed, with significance values of 0.550 for the pretest and 0.583 for the posttest. Furthermore, the Paired Sample t-Test yielded a significance value of 0.000 (< 0.05), indicating that the animated video media was effective in improving the cognitive abilities of early childhood children. Therefore, the developed animated video media is feasible to be used as an alternative learning medium to enhance early childhood cognitive development

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya kemampuan motorik kasar murid tunanetra di SLB Negeri Kebayakan Takengon akibat keterbatasan penglihatan yang menghambat koordinasi gerak, keseimbangan tubuh, dan orientasi arah. Alasan dilakukannya penelitian ini adalah adanya kesenjangan praktik di lokasi penelitian di mana teknik dasar olahraga menggunakan media adaptif belum diterapkan secara optimal bagi siswa tunanetra kelas rendah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas penggunaan bola berbunyi melalui teknik dasar permainan sepak bola dalam meningkatkan kemampuan motorik kasar anak tunanetra kelas I. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan eksperimen Single Subject Research (SSR) dengan desain A-B-A. Pemilihan metode SSR didasarkan pada kemampuannya untuk mengamati perubahan perilaku atau kemampuan pada subjek secara intensif, mendalam, dan berulang guna melihat pengaruh nyata dari suatu intervensi dalam lingkup pendidikan khusus. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pada kondisi Baseline Pertama (A1), skor kemampuan motorik kasar subjek berada pada kategori kurang cukup (45% dan 50%). Setelah diberikan intervensi (B) menggunakan bola berbunyi, skor meningkat signifikan menjadi 60%, 75%, dan 90% (kategori sangat baik), serta tetap bertahan pada tingkat maksimal (85%, 95%, dan 100%) pada fase Baseline Kedua (A2) dengan persentase overlap data sebesar 0%. Penggunaan bola berbunyi efektif meningkatkan koordinasi gerak kasar, keberanian, dan kepercayaan diri anak tunanetra. Rekomendasi untuk penelitian selanjutnya agar melibatkan jumlah subjek yang lebih banyak dan durasi intervensi yang lebih lama guna memperkuat validitas temuan serta mendukung pengembangan kurikulum olahraga adaptif yang lebih inklusif.

Abstract

Kemampuan kemampuan berpikir kreatif pada pelajaran IPAS siswa III SD Negeri 55 Banda Aceh masih rendah, dalam proses pembelajaran terlihat siswa kurang aktif dan selalu berpusat pada guru. Melalui model Problem Based Learning (PBL) terintegrasi nilai-nilai Islam diyakini mampu menyelesaikan permasalahan pemahaman berpikir kreatif siswa. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh penerapan model Problem Based Learning (PBL) terintegrasi nilai-nilai Islam terhadap peningkatan kemampuan berpikir kreatif siswa kelas III. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain pra eksperimen one group pretest posttest design. Populasi seluruh siswa SD Negeri 55 Banda Aceh berjumlah 190 siswa, pengambilan sampel dengan menggunakan purposive sampling dengan menetapkan siswa kelas III berjumlah 32 orang siswa. Data dikumpulkan melalui tes (pre test dan post test), data yang terkumpul selanjutnya dianalisis dengan uji statistik (uji-t). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terjadi peningkatan hasil tes siswa, rata-rata nilai tes awal 55,25 meningkat menjadi 78,44. Hasil ini juga diperkuat dengan hasil uji hipotesis bahwa nilai t-hitung > harga t-tabel 22,95 > 1,70. Dengan demikian penerapan model Problem Based Learning (PBL) terintegrasi nilai-nilai Islam dalam pembelajaran IPAS mampu meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kreatif siswa kelas III SD Negeri 55 Banda AcehAbstractThe ability of creative thinking in science lessons of third grade students of SD Negeri 55 Banda Aceh is still low, in the learning process students are seen to be less active and always centered on the teacher. Through the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model integrated with Islamic values is believed to be able to solve the problem of understanding students' creative thinking. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the application of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model integrated with Islamic values on improving the creative thinking abilities of third grade students. This study uses a quantitative approach with a pre-experimental design one group pretest posttest design. The population of all students of SD Negeri 55 Banda Aceh amounted to 190 students, sampling using purposive sampling by determining the number of third grade students amounted to 32 students. Data were collected through tests (pre-test and post-test), the collected data were then analyzed with statistical tests (t-test). The results showed an increase in student test results, the average initial test score of 55.25 increased to 73.42. This result is also strengthened by the results of the hypothesis test that the calculated t-value > t-table value 22,95> 1.70. Thus, the application of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model integrated with Islamic values in science learning is able to improve the creative thinking skills of class III students at SD Negeri 55 Banda Aceh.
