Abstract

Pemerataan kualitas pendidikan di Indonesia masih kurang, terutama setelah adanya wabah pandemi covid-19 yang membuat siswa tidak bisa maksimal dalam belajar sehingga mengalami kemunduran terhadap kemampuan literasi dan numerasinya. Dengan permasalahan tersebut dicetuskan program kampus mengajar sebagai kontribusi semua pihak dari pemerintah pusat, daerah, dan sekolah dalam pemerataan kualitas pendidikan di Indonesia secara gotong royong. Salah satu sekolah sasaran, yaitu SDN 1 Aan yang berada di Kabupaten Klungkung, Bali yang siswanya memiliki tingkat assesmen rendah. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode tindakan, yakni melakukan pembelajaran pendidikan seni, baik secara langsung melalui pelajaran seni budaya dan prakarya (SBDP) dan secara tidak langsung melalui mata ajar umum tetapi menghubungkan aktivitas seni dengan materi dengan pendekatan arts in education (AiE). Dalam hal ini penulis mencari data secara kualitatif mengenai kondisi sekolah dan peserta didik pada saat program kampus mengajar dilaksanakan. Hasil penelitian ini adalah guru di SDN 1 Aan dapat berkolaborasi bersama mahasiswa kampus mengajar melalui beberapa program dalam upaya peningkatan literasi dan numerasi siswa dengan memasukkan pendidikan seni di dalamnya. Dengan pembelajaran berpendekatan seni (arts in education) dapat memberi keseimbangan antara kognitif dan emosi peserta didik di SDN 1 Aan.

Abstract

Pramoedya Ananta Toer’s literary works expose histories of oppression, resistance, and national identity, giving voice to those silenced by colonialism and authoritarianism. While his influence on literature is widely acknowledged, its intersection with contemporary visual art remains underexplored. This article examines how text-based artistic practices reinterpret and extend Pramoedya’s legacy, using layering, erasure, and fragmentation as visual metaphors for censorship and resilience. Drawing on cognitive theory, expression theory, and visual semiotics, the artistic process integrates his words into images of painting and mixed media to create a dialogue between past and present, literature and image, memory and erasure. The findings reveal that visualizing literary narratives deepens historical reflection and challenges cultural amnesia. This study contributes to both artistic and academic discourse by showing how contemporary art can reclaim silenced histories and expand Pramoedya’s influence beyond literature into the realm of visual expression.

Abstract

Ecological folklore is a part of literature that is widely developed by raising environmental themes through theme responses and moral messages conveyed as an effort to save the environment. One example of ecological literature in the form of Balinese folklore that also tends to convey character education values to save the forest is Balinese oral literature entitled "I Swarnangkara". The purpose of the study is to examine the existence of oral literature "I Swarnangkara" in Pramoedya Ananta Toer's view in the perspective of Socialist Realist Literature. The method used is descriptive qualitative to facilitate the delivery of the results of the analysis elaborated with the theory of Ecological Literature and Socialist Realist Literature. The object of the research is the oral literature "I Swarnangkara" which represents the message of saving the forest by a young man who grew up in Watukaru Village, precisely in Watukaru forest in Wongaya Gede Village, Tabanan Regency. The results show that the existence of oral literature "I Swarnangkara" contains social realist values that highlight efforts to save the forest environment as a strategy to balance the role of humans and nature for survival. The existence of ecological literature "I Swarnangkara" in the perspective of Social Realist Literature shows that oral literature can function as an educational medium to foster responsibility in protecting nature, especially forests which are the axis and source of oxygen for the world.

Abstract

Art education plays a crucial role in preserving and developing local cultural heritage, including batik. This study aims to examine the role of art education at SMK Negeri 4 Palangkaraya in supporting the preservation and development of batik culture. The focus of the study was on the learning process in the Batik and Textile Creative Crafts Program, specifically for eleventh-grade students. This study employed a qualitative approach with case study and descriptive methods. Data collection techniques included analysis of learning documents, in-depth interviews with teachers and students, and direct observation of learning and practical activities. The results indicate that the art learning process at this school focuses not only on technical skills in batik but also integrates rich cultural content, such as the history of batik, the philosophical values within motifs, and the role of batik in local cultural identity. Through this approach, students are equipped not only with technical skills but also with a deep understanding of the cultural values inherent in batik. Furthermore, student involvement in hands-on activities and community-based projects provides space for innovation. They are encouraged to create contemporary batik designs that remain rooted in traditional motifs but are adapted to contemporary tastes. This activity also fosters a sense of ownership of cultural heritage and fosters creativity and independence. Thus, arts education at SMK Negeri 4 Palangkaraya has proven to play a strategic role in maintaining the sustainability of batik culture. More than just skills training, arts education is an effective means of building cultural awareness, fostering innovation, and strengthening local identity among the younger generation.

Abstract

This article analyzes the integration of fine art values into the weaving industry at PT. Agung Bali Collection, focuses on the production of creative woven fabric products, such as patchwork paintings. The research identifies technical challenges, such as color consistency and motif complexity, and explores innovative solutions, including modern technology and artisan training. The application of fine art principles like creativity, precision, and cultural significance enhances the aesthetic and cultural value of the products. This study highlights the role of art in preserving cultural heritage while meeting contemporary standards, contributing to the development of the weaving industry.

Abstract

The use of Muslim clothing, especially in using hijab, has become an art trend carried out by a fashion connoisseur. Uniqueness in terms of motifs contained in the hijab can be used as a fashion item that is often used. In this case, the motif used in the hijab is designed using endek motifs with coloring using tie dye techniques that can add aesthetics to clothing and fashion lovers and the public can get to know more about endek motifs, and can preserve the culture that comes from their respective regions. The process of creating this work uses technology that can facilitate the next process, namely by using digital printing technology on the hijab cloth that has been designed through the process of experimentation, exploration, and observation. The use of endek motifs in hijab design emphasizes several motifs in endek woven fabric. The resulting works are 6 (six) hijab works that have been printed using endek motifs and the results with coloring using tie dye coloring techniques which have their own uniqueness with coloring results that can be intentional or unintentional. The final result of this work is expected to encourage the community in preserving and disseminating their culture, can increase the diversity of motif designs on the hijab, especially in traditional motifs, can help in the needs of dressing, especially in Muslim clothing, and can provide a variety of hijab designs, and can give a new impression to the connoisseurs of Muslim fashion.

Abstract

This research evaluates the impact of the Sigeh Pengunten dance on the creativity and personality of students at SMP Negeri 1 Seputih Mataram Lampung. The results indicate a significant improvement in the creativity and character of students engaged in learning the Sigeh Pengunten dance. The integration of this dance art into the curriculum brings positive benefits, promoting collaboration, communication, and critical thinking. The research highlights that the Sigeh Pengunten dance not only stimulates students' creativity through free and expressive movements but also shapes positive personalities. The Malay philosophy of Piil Pesengiri, reflected in the dance movements, serves as the foundation for character formation, teaching values of honor and cheerfulness. In the context of learning, the incorporation of the Sigeh Pengunten dance helps students develop communication, emotional, and creative skills. Students not only sharpen their creativity through dance but also build collaboration and communication in the creative process. This process also stimulates critical thinking, enriching students' innovative thinking. The significance of the Sigeh Pengunten dance extends beyond creativity, serving as a means for the development of students' social and emotional skills. The integration of dance art shapes individuals who not only think critically but also possess emotional balance and strong social abilities. Thus, the Sigeh Pengunten dance proves its integral role in creating a holistic and profound learning environment at SMP Negeri 1 Seputih Mataram Lampung.

Abstract

Education is the main foundation for human growth in an ever-developing world. In this context, the learning environment in the classroom is a crucial factor that influences the effectiveness of the learning process. The researcher applied a qualitative phenomenological approach in completing this research to understand how the psychosocial and physical environment of the classroom at SMPN 2 Denpasar influences the learning process. A conducive class is the main focus, considering various aspects ranging from cleanliness, freedom to learn, to student-teacher social interaction. The role of a teacher who serves as a class manager who is responsible for creating a learning environment that motivates students as well as teachers. The research results highlight that a conducive classroom environment does not only involve physical aspects such as room layout, but also social and psychological aspects. Positive social interactions, students' freedom to learn, and camaraderie in the classroom influence their learning motivation. Organizing the classroom environment holistically is an important key in increasing the effectiveness of the learning process. Teachers need to understand their role in creating a learning atmosphere that stimulates student learning motivation. By paying attention to these aspects, the learning process becomes effective and is able to improve student learning outcomes.

Abstract

Ambus Pati Arum merupakan karya busana dengan konsep tradisi pemakaman desa Trunyan atau disebut mepasah sebagai ide pemantik utama dan berkolaborasi dengan CV. Terimakasih Banyak yang akan direalisasikan ke dalam 3 jenis busana yaitu ready to wear, ready to wear deluxe dan couture. Realisasi karya tersebut memerlukan tahapan yang sistematis agar busana yang dihasilkan dapat terwujud sesuai dengan sumber ide yang telah ditentukan. Tahapan perancangan busana yang dapat diterapkan adalah tahapan proses desain fashion bertajuk Frangipani: The Secret Steps of Art Fashion oleh Tjok Istri Ratna Cora Sudharsana yaitu : (1) Menemukan ide pemantik berdasarkan budaya Bali, (2) Riset dan sumber seni fesyen, (3) Analisa estetika elemen seni fesyen berdasarkan kekayaan budaya Bali, (4) Menarasikan ide seni fesyen ke dalam visualisasi dua dimensi atau tiga dimensi, (5) Memberikan jiwa-taksu pada ide seni fesyen melalui contoh, sampel, dan kosntruksi pola ,(6) Menginterpretasikan keunikan seni fesyen yang tertuang pada koleksi final (7) Mempromosikan dan membuat seni fesyen yang unik, (8) Afirmasi merek (9) Mengarahkan produksi seni fesyen melalui metode kapitalis humanis, (10) Memperkenalkan bisnis seni fesyen. Hasil dari penerapan Frangipani ini yaitu mewujudkan karya busana yang sesuai dengan prinsip desain sampai dengan tujuan komersil/bisnis.

Abstract

Karya patung I Nyoman Tjokot yang berjudul “Komposisi Makhluk Mitologi” merupakan patung konfigurasi imajinatif tentang makhluk – makhluk dari dunia mistis. Bentuk – bentuknya cenderung mengarah pada idiom visual yang bersifat demonis dengan ekspresi yang menakutkan. Sosok – sosok totem dalam tekstur kasar, saling bertumpuk dengan bentuk dan gerak tubuh yang bebas. Rongga-rongga selain memberi batas bentuk juga menjadi aksentuasi suasana primitif. Dalam karya-karyanya, Nyoman Tjokot cenderung tidak mengukir dengan rumit, apalagi menghaluskan figur-figurnya. Patung Komposisi Makhluk Mitologi diwujudkan dalam bentuk analogi dalam sebuah karya dengan kata kunci yang terpilih. Metode penciptaan karya yang digunakan yaitu terdiri dari delapan tahapan penciptaan “Frangipani” Desain Fashion dari Dr. Tjok Istri Ratna Cora Sudharsana, tahun 2016 meliputi design brief, research and sourching, analizing art fashion, narrating art fashion, giving a soul, interpreting art fashion, promoting branding, affirmation branding, navigating art fashion, production business. Penciptaan karya busana ready to wear, ready to wear deluxe, dan semi couture ini diwujudkan dengan ide pemantik Patung Komposisi Makhluk Mitologi dengan style exotic dramatic. Diharapkan hasil penciptaan ini dapat memperkenalkan dan mengenang karya dari salah satu masterpiece ternama di Bali.
