Abstract

The purposes of this research were developing the product (of research), that was, the economics scrabble learning media and knowing the effectiveness of economics scrabble learning media. The research design was Research and Development Design (RD).  Developing designed followed the steps of Dick and Carey. The scores analyzing result showed that the effectiveness of learning in experimental class by using economic scrabble learning media was more effective than the students in control class who used conventional learning media.Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengembangkan produk berupa media belajar scrabble ekonomi dan mengetahui efektivitas penggunaan media belajar scrabble ekonomi. Desain penelitian menggunakan desain Research and Development (RD). Desain pengembangan mengikuti langkah-langkah Dick and Carey. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa efektivitas pembelajaran di kelas eksperimen menggunakan media belajar scrabble ekonomi lebih efektif dari pada pembelajaran di kelas kontrol menggunakan media belajar konvensional secara signifikan.    Kata kunci:  media belajar, pengembangan, scrabble ekonomi

Abstract

The research was stimulated learning Social Studies in SMK Negeri 1 Kalianda model of discourse learning with a low learning achievement. This study aims to develop a model of learning by Webbed  are (1) describe the analysis of needs students, (2) resulted in the design and teaching of learning syntax Social Studies Webbed models, (3) test the effectiveness of Social Studies Learning Model Webbed. The Social Studies model of learning development approach Webbed Research and Development (R D) following the research procedure Dick and Carey developed by Borg and Gall. The results of this research with an analysis of learning needs  the students within the social studies model of Webbed compose the picture in determining the theme of potential areas suitable realities of life. The Syllabus mapping by analyzing the Content Standards, Competency Standards, and Indicators Basic Competence in the implementation of learning. Social studies learning scenario design and syntax Webbed models are (1) Introduction to aperception about Webbed models. (2) the analyze mapping Competency Standards, Basic Competencies and indicators, which define and determine the relationship between the themes in the learning network social studies Model Webbed by making the grille, instrument pre-test and post-test to look for gains in learning results. (3) Develop a learning relationship with Webbed Model social studies Themes. (4) Determine the formulation of the theme. (5) To collect data to answer the formulation of the theme. (6) The test formulation in the theme. (7) To formulate conclusions Webbed theme of learning models. Based on the test results in class X Accounting effectiveness, effectiveness scores 1.015 1. The Effectiveness based on the difference in pretest, posttest, and gain learning Webbed social studies models in experimental classes expressed more effective than the old model of learning in social studies class control. Keywords: Development, Sosial Studies Learning, Webbed Model

Abstract

Lack of intellectual and social competence of students form the basis of this research. This research  aims to analyze the social studies learning based multiple intelligence in improving students' intellectual and social competence eighth grade junior Darul Ulum Sekampung.  The approach of this study is action research with three cycles. The first cycle with PPKB-Cooperative Learning Models, The Second cycles with PPKB-CTL models, and the third cycles with PPKB-dramatic models. The data collection tool include: testing, observation and questionnaires attitude. Data were analyzed by descriptive qualitative. Results of this study show that there is an increase of 91% intellectual competence and there is an increasing social competence as big as 88% to 91% consistency in cycle three. Keyword: multiple intelligence, kompetensi intelektual, sosial

Abstract

The aimed of this research is to describe the method of learning by using Internet-based discussion groups in schools to increase the  students' attitudes nationalism in teaching history and describing the increase in the students historical  knowledge. This research is a classroom action research (CAR), which consists of three cycles, each cycle consisting of four activities include planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. Data collection techniques used observation, questionnaires, and tests. Based on the results showed that the use of Internet-based discussion group  accompanied by images of nationalism can increase the students' attitudes and historical knowledge.Penelitian ini dimaksudkan untuk mendeskripsikan metode pembelajaran dengan menggunakan diskusi kelompok berbasis internet (hotspot) di sekolah untuk meningkatkan sikap nasionalisme siswa dalam pembelajaran sejarah dan sekaligus mendeskripsikan peningkatan pengetahuan kesejarahan siswa. Penelitian Tindakan Kelas ini dilaksanakan pada 36 siswa kelas XII.IPS.4  semester ganjil di SMA Negeri 5 Bandar Lampung tahun pelajaran 2012 / 2013. Metode dalam penelitian ini Penelitian Tindakan Kelas dengan 3 siklus, pada setiap siklus terdiri dari perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi dan refleksi. Pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini dengan lembar observasi, angket dan tes hasil belajar. Berdasarkan data-data dari hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan diskusi kelompok berbasis internet dapat meningkatkan sikap nasionalisme siswa dan pengetahuan kesejarahan.Kata kunci: diskusi, sikap, prestasi

Abstract

The purposes of this research were to produce the Connected Model in social studies that can be used as an alternative to improve the learning outcomes of students in junior high, connected model to analyze the effectiveness of testing in social studies. This research method uses Research and Development (RD). Results showed that connected model product development in social studies learning was developed by using the research design development adopted the steps from Dick and Carey instructional design model, and then tested with the results of the development steps by Borg and Gall development research, conducted through 6 stages, namely: making needs analysis, planning or product development, or expert review of the expert validation, product revision, the test is limited, and, so models and reporting. Connected Model in the IPS learning effectively used in teaching social studies.Tujuan Penelitian ini adalah menghasilkan Model Connected pada mata pelajaran IPS yang dapat dijadikan alternatif untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar peserta didik di SMP, menganalisis pengujian efektifitas Model Connected pada mata pelajaran IPS. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan Research and Development (RD). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan pengembangan produk model Connected dalam pembelajaran IPS dikembangkan menggunakan model rancangan penelitian pengembangan mengadopsi langkah-langkah Dick and Carey sebagai model desain pembelajaran, kemudian hasil pengembangan diuji cobakan dengan langkah-langkah penelitian pengembangan Borg and Gall, yang dilaksanakan melalui 6 tahap, yaitu: membuat analisis kebutuhan, perencanaan atau pengembangan produk,  validasi ahli atau reviu ahli,  revisi produk, uji terbatas, dan, model jadi dan pelaporan. Model Connected dalam pembelajaran IPS efektif digunakan dalam pembelajaran IPS.Kata kunci:  ips, model pembelajaran connected, pendidikan karakter

Abstract

The learning process has been less effective because the media used is still conventional Student Work Sheet. So the students don’t interest in learning, passively listening, writing and it’s impact on learning outcomes. This study aims to develop LKPD through History Schoology to improving the ability of critical thinking and learning outcomes to be effective. The methodology of this study follows the Borg and Gall development model. Data analysis shows that E-learning through Schoology media enhances critical thinking skills and learning outcomes in history learning. One of the main stages is the development stage, namely media creation and review of media, material and language. The objective is to suggestion for LKPD perfection that is developed so that the result of research found that E-learning through Schoology media can improve the ability of critical thinking and learning result in learning history.Proses pembelajaran selama ini kurang efektif karena media yang digunakan masih bersifat konvensional yakni Lembar Kerja Peserta Didik (LKPD). Sehingga siswa kurang tertarik belajar, pasif mendengarkan, mencatat dan berdampak terhadap hasil belajar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan LKPD melalui media Schoology pembelajaran Sejarah dalam meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis dan hasil belajar menjadi efektif. Metodologi penelitian ini mengikuti model pengembangan Borg dan Gall. Analisis data menunjukkan bahwa E-learning melalui media Schoology meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis dan hasil belajar dalam pembelajaran Sejarah. Salah satu tahap yang utama adalah tahap development, yaitu pembuatan media serta review ahli media, materi dan bahasa. Tujuannya untuk kesempurnaan LKPD yang dikembangkan sehingga hasil penelitian didapatkan bahwa E-learning melalui media Schoology dapat meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis dan hasil belajar dalam pembelajaran Sejarah. Kata Kunci : Schoology, Hasil Belajar Sejarah, Kemampuan Berpikir Kritis

Abstract

This study aims to: (1) describe the general condition of Kebumen around the proclamation of Indonesian independence; (2) describe the biography of KH Somalangu; (3) describe the role of KH Somalangu in the Movement of the Muslims of 1945-1950 in KebumenThis study uses literature review method. Data collection is done by collecting written sources that can be found in books, journals, thesis and the internet. The steps in this study are heuristics, source criticism or verification, interpretation, and historiography.The results of this study are: (1) Kebumen which is included in the residency of Kedu with the livelihood of the population is farming and the majority are Muslim; (2) KH Somalangu had the birth name of Syeikh As_Sayid Mahfudz Al-Hasani or Syeikh Mahfudz Abdurrahman who was born in Kebumen on November 9, 1901; (3) The role of KH Somalangu is divided into three periods, namely AUI during Military Aggression 1, AUI during Military Aggression 2, and AUI during rebellion.

Abstract

Secara kultural pada tiap masyarakat memiliki tata nilai dan kebudayaan masing-masing yang telah disepakati bersama dan diwariskan dari generasi ke-generasi. Kebudayaan yang telah lestari ini jika tidak dirawat dengan baik akan menimbungkan berbagai persoalan seperti perbedaan pemahaman masyarakat yang nantinya jika dibiarkan akan menimbulkan konflik sosial dan disharmoni sosial.  Kegiatan pengabdian ini dilakukan selama tiga pertemuan yang didahului dengan oberservasi awal di lapangan, perkenalan serta persiapan  pendampingan sosialisasi pemantapan nilai-nilai multikultural pada warga Sawahan Pandowoharjo Kapanewon Sleman. Kegiatan ini dilakukan di dalam ruangan pertemuan tempat Dukuh Sawahan Pandowoharjo. Peserta pemantapan nilai-nilai multikultural berjumlah 47 orang. Selain melalui penyuluhan dan sosialisasi juga dilakukan pendampingan selama proses pengabdian berlangsung. Pada penyampaian materi dilakukan presentasi dan tanya jawab dengan peserta yang kemudian diikuti dengan memerikan wawasan dan konsep pengembangan model pemantapan nilai-nilai multikultural kepada warga yang hadir. Hasil dari kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah warga masyarakakat Dukuh Sawahan Pandowoharjo mendapatkan pengetahuan baru berkenaan dengan pemahaman multikultural masyarakat. Selain itu juga masyarakat dapat mengembangkan bagaimana mengembangkan nilai dan tradisi budaya lokal yang selama ini sudah menjadi icon masyarakat agar tetap lestari dan diwariskan dari generasi ke generasi. Saran dari pengabdian ini adalah pentingnya komunikasi yang lebih intensif antara warga masyarakarakat. Selain itu perlu dukungan dari pemerintah setempat untuk dapat lebih mendorong nilai dan tradisi budaya yang ada di Sawahan Pandowoharjo agar lebih berkembang maju.Kata kunci: Pemantapan, Nilai-Nilai karakter, Multikultural, Dusun Sawahan

Abstract

Historically historical literature has cultural roots especially in the development of the character of the values of local wisdom. In addition to the development of literary history culture can be one of the references in the process of writing historiography. This study aims to find the values of local wisdom in the work of historical literature. This research uses historical method. The conclusion in this study finds that the historical literature that developed in Java expressed the literary writer's poetry. Culturally, the contents of historical literature reflect the strategy of enculturation of the values of theroyal family's wisdom to the Javanese community. The suggestion in this study is to develop a further study of other forms of enculturation in historical literature in the development of local wisdom values of the Javanese community.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the increase in student activity in learning History through Audio Visual Learning Media for Class XI IPS MA Ma'arif NU 1 Kemranjen Students.This type of research is Classroom Action Research (CAR). The research subjects were all students of class XI IPS, totaling 28 students. The object of research is the activeness of students by using audio- visual media. Data collection techniqueswere obtained by observation and written tests. Data analysis techniques used are quantitative and qualitative techniques. The results of the research in Cycle I were 35% of students actively asked questions, 39% of students actively answered, 85% of students did assignments, 35% of students chatted and 71% of students remained silent, theresults of Cycle I showed that student activity was in the moderate category. While in Cycle II showed an increase, namely 89% of students actively asked questions, 86% of students actively answered, 92% of students did assignments, 21% of students chatted and 46% of students remained silent, in Cycle II it could be categorized as very high student activity. Thus the use of audiovisual media can increase student activity in history learning for class XI IPS MA Ma'arif NU 1 Kemranjen.
