Abstract

Telah disintesis polimer eugenol-silikon [(Poli (1)] dengan menggunakan katalis Pt. Poli (1) disintesis dengan reaksi kondensasi dan diperoleleh polimer dengan jumlah yang banyak dan berwarna hijau. Hasil analisi 1H NMR menunjukkan bahwa untuk gugus metoksi mengalami splinting menjadi dua. Inilah yang menyebabkan polimer tersebut berwarna hijau. Polimerisasi dilakukan beberapa kali pengulangan dan diperoleh hasil yang berbeda, polimerisasi pertama menghasilkan polimer yang agak keras dan pengulangan hanya menghasilkan polimer yang lunak. Aplikasi dari polimer ini dapat digunakan sebagai krim kecantikan. Polimerisasi dengan katalis Ru generasi kedua menhasilkan senyawa dengan gugus metoksinya mengalami splitting.

Abstract

Telah disintesis polimer heliks aktif optis poliasetilen berbahan dasar L-Alanin yang tersubstitusi kumarin dan sitronelal (1). Kedua polimer ini menunjukan serapan UV-Vis pada dan circular discroism pada 400 nm yang menunjukan bahwa kedua polimer adalah polimerheliks berputar kekiri. Analisis 1H NMR menunjukan adanya -CH3, -CH2, -CH dan?NH pada pergeseran kimia 1,944, 4,160, 5,721 dan 8,611 ppm untuk polimer yang tersubstitusi kumarin serta 1,720, 4,100, 2,036, 7,744 ppm untuk monomer 1. Kedua polimer dapat difungsikan sebagai katalis pada sintesis asimetrik.

Abstract

ABSTRACT New absolute asymmetric syntheses have been found.  Eugenol based-acetylenes monomers have been synthesized, corresponding three compounds and one unknown compound.  Two compounds are crystal chiral (1 and 2) and one (3) not.  Polymerization of chiral crystal and not were different although the structure is same.  After recrystalization polymerization of 1 and 2 compare with 3 also different.  This is one example of new absolute asymmetric synthesis. Abstract

ABSTRACT The study aims are to determine the influence of the best of smooth and the best of volume eluent of the concentration of ion mercury (II) the colomn with the flow from top to bottom. These are used has a diameter 1 cm, height 35 cm and adsorbent 5 g. The variations upon the smooth which is used 10, 20 and 30 mL/minute ad the volume of eluent 10, 50, 100 and 150 mL with a concentration 60 mg/L at pH 5. This study is using random the factorial, each treatment done as much as two times. From the results showed that the best of smooth be achieved in the smooth 10 mL/minute and the best of volume eluent be achieved in the volume of 150 mL in adsorption of ion mercury (II). Abstract

The aims of these research are to find out the comparison of the ratio of lauric acid molar and ethanol  (m/v), the time of mixing and the best catalyst volume to produce lauric ethyl with the highest degree of esterification by using volumetric method. Synthesize of ethyl lauric from lauric acid with ethanol did by using thick sulphate acid p.a as the catalyst with comparison of lauric acid with ratio 1:3, 1:4, 1:5, 1:6, 1:7. The variation of mixing time are 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 hour. The catalyst variation are 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5 mL. This research used random variable in the confidence interval 95%. The result of this research showed that the best molar lauric acid ratio and ethanol is 1: 7 (m/v) and esterification degree is 59,701 %. The best mixing time is 5 hour, and esterification is 53,283%, While catalyst volume variation is 1 mL with esterification degree 87,611 % Keywords : Lauric Acid, Ethyl Lauric, Esterification Degree, Volumetric Method

Abstract

The research about synthesis and characterization of chiral compounds from the rough methyleugenol with acetic acid as the catalyst has been done. The goal is to determine the  content of 1-(3,4-dimetoksifenil)-2-propanil acetate compound which is produced in the reaction process of metileugenol with acetic acid and to characterizased the chemical compound of the product. The results showed that the content of 1-(3,4-dimetoksifenil)-2-propanil acetate compound that has been obtained was  45.87% with a molecular weight of 238.Keywords : Methyleugenol, Chiral, FT-IR, GC-MS

Abstract

This research use the expired instant coconut milk for 2 months. The goal is to find out whether the coconut milk can be used to produce oil. The method does is with variation of the total  number of laru 0,5 mL oil; 0,75 mL; 1 mL; 1,25 mL; and 1,50 mL by volume per volume (v/v). the fermentation time and 18 hours, 24 hours, 30 hours, and 36 minutes. Results of the study that the amount of oil the oil laru yield the highest oil is 1,50 mL with 28% yield and fermentation time of 30 hours, while the lowest was at the time of fermentation 18 hours i.e. 15%.Keywords: instant coconut milk, expired, coconut oil, yeast, oil, quality and  yield

Abstract

The investigation about of carboxymethyl cellulose (CMC) of Durian peel  (Durio zibethinus) cellulose has been done. The research aim is to determine the best ratio of sodium mono-chloroacetate toward cellulose and is to determine the reaction time in the synthesis of carboxymethyl cellulose of durian peel in order to obtain the highest substitution degree. The applied of ratio variations and reaction time were 5:5, 6:5, 7:5, 8:5, 9:5 grams and 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, respectively. The result showed that the best ratio of sodium mono-chloroacetate toward cellulose was 7:5 gram with yields and the substitution degree of 39.39% and 1.17, respectively. The best time reaction was found at 4 hours with yields and the substitution degree of 39.77 % and 1.2, respectively. Keywords: Durian peel, carboxymethyl cellulose, substitution degree.

Abstract

Telah  dilakukan penelitian tentang pengaruh perbandingan mol dan waktu reaksi pada sintesis etil stearat menggunakan katalis asam sulfat pekat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendapatkan rasio mol asam stearat/etanol dan waktu reaksi esterifikasi yang menghasilkan derajat esterifikasi yang tinggi. Variabel yang diamati yaitu rasio mol asam stearat/etanol (m/v) 1:4, 1:5, 1:6, 1:7, dan 1:8. Selanjutnya variasi waktu reaksi esterifikasi yaitu 3 jam, 4 jam, 5 jam, 6 jam, dan 7 jam. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan rasio mol asam stearat/etanol terbaik yaitu 1:8 dengan derajat esterifikasi 83,08%. Sedangkan waktu reaksi esterifikasi terbaik diperoleh pada waktu 5 jam dengan derajat esterifikasi 90,8%. Kata Kunci : Asam Stearat, Etil Stearat, Derajat Esterifikasi

Abstract

Sintesis dan sifat kopolimer kristal kiral metil eugenol dan eugenol telah dilakukan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui kelarutan kopolimer dan pengaruh kristal kiral terhadap berat molekul kopolimer yang dihasilkan. Reaksi adisi, kopolimerisasi dan metode viskometri yang digunakan dalam penenlitian ini, untuk mengidentifikasi menggunakan Fourier Transform Infra Red (FT-IR) dan spektrofotometri UV-Vis. Berat molekul kopolimer sebelum pemurnian sebesar 78.595,91 g/mol dengan rendemen 92,24% yang berupa padatan berwarna merah keunguan dan setelah pemurnian diperoleh berat molekul sebesar 14.484,38g/mol dengan rendemen 62,24% berupa padatan berwarna kuning kecoklatan. Kopolimer yang diperoleh larut dalam etanol, kloroform, etilasetat, sedikit larut dalam n-heksan dan tidak larut dalam air. Hasil  spektrum UV-Vis yang melebar pada panjang gelombang 450-500 nm menunjukan bahwa senyawa yang dihasilkan berbentuk heliks. Kata Kunci : Kristal Kiral Metil Eugenol, Eugenol, Kopolimer, Polimer Heliks.
