Abstract

Kebakaran merupakan salah satu kecelakaan yang memerlukan perhatian khusus dan juga memerlukan pencegahan. Indonesia memiliki kondisi yang cocok untuk bangunan. Sistem proteksi kebakaran aktif dan pasif diperlukan untuk menjamin keselamatan pengguna dan pengelola gedung Fakultas MIPA. Gedung Fakultas MIPA Universitas Syiah Kuala karenanya harus dilengkapi dengan peralatan pemadam kebakaran yang baik. Merancang sirkulasi internal sebagai sarana untuk melarikan diri dalam situasi kebakaran mempengaruhi laju aliran, ukuran jalur sirkulasi dan bahan yang digunakan dalam beberapa cara. Kajian ini lebih lanjut membahas tentang layanan Fakultas MIPA Universitas Syiah Kuala. Konsep sirkulasi dan pencegahan kebakaran menjadi poin utama dari penelitian ini, yang bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan dan menjelaskan sirkulasi internal sebagai sarana evakuasi, sistem proteksi kebakaran, peralatan yang diperlukan dan pengaturannya. untuk merancang bangunan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif. Beberapa topik pembahasan adalah konsep desain sirkulasi dalam ruangan sebagai sarana escape dan kesesuaian sirkulasi dalam ruangan dengan pedoman SNI, yaitu. penggunaan Nilai Keandalan Sistem Keselamatan Bangunan (NKSKB) pada otoritas kebakaran. Penelitian ini mengungkapkan bahwa keandalan Sistem Keamanan Gedung (NKSKB) Fakultas Matematika dan Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam Universitas Syiah Kuala sebesar 92,57%, yang menunjukkan bahwa keandalan sistem proteksi kebakaran terdapat pada gedung-gedung. Dari Fakultas MIPA Universitas Syiah Kuala termasuk dalam kategori baik.Kata Kunci: Jalur Evakuasi, Nilai Keandalan Sistem Keselamatan Bangunan (NKSKB), Proteksi Kebakaran, Sirkulasi Ruang Dalam.

Abstract

Saat ini, kehadiran Ekonomi Kreatif di Kota Banda Aceh belum tercatat secara resmi, namun sudah berkembang dengan cukup baik melalui empat sub sektor yaitu fashion, film, kriya dan kuliner. Dari keempat sub sektor yang ada, sangat dibutukan upaya peningkatan potensi ekonomi di kota ini. Hal ini diharapkan agar dapat menjadikan Kota Banda Aceh memiliki tingkat perekonomian yang tinggi dan stabil. Dengan beragam isu dan potensi yang ada, maka perancangan Pusat Riset dan Pengembangan Industri Kreatif yang memadai sangat diharapkan dapat menyelesaikan permasalahan yang ada serta dapat juga dijadikan sebagai wadah berkumpulnya para pelaku bidang Industri Kreatif di Banda Aceh. Lokasi perancangan yang berada di Jl. Taman Sri Ratu Safiatuddin Bandar Baru, Kec. Kuta Alam, Kota Banda Aceh, Aceh ini diharapkan mampu memberikan penguatan citra dan identitas dari Kota Banda Aceh sendiri. Penerapan konsep Arsitektur Kontemporer melalui bentuk massa bangunan yang dinamis dan eksplorasi lanskap serta pengaplikasian bentuk yang melengkung pada fasad bangunan diharapkan mampu mempresentasikan ciri khas anak muda yang aktif, dinamis dan menyukai hal-hal baru sehingga dapat memvisualisasikan bangunan dari view luar dan lingkungan setempat dengan maksimal.

Abstract

The coronavirus disease in 2019 (Covid-19), a highly contagious respiratory virus, has spread to more than 200 countries and regions. The high number of Covid-19 cases has led to various regulations regarding social restrictions. Some of the changes that occurred due to the Covid-19 pandemic changed the socio-spatial structure and affected physical and psychological well-being and overall quality of life. The impact of Covid-19 has also occurred in the Summarecon Bekasi settlement, which provides facilities, a commercial center, and various public open spaces that the people of Bekasi City widely use to become more restricted. Researchers used a qualitative approach and descriptive qualitative analysis techniques with interview observations and documentation as the data sources. Research on public open spaces in Summarecon Bekasi, including downtown walk, waterfront, pedestrian paths, and bus stop shuttle bus, shows that these public spaces cannot fulfill all variable indicators of public open space readiness in dealing with post-pandemic conditions Covid-19. The results obtained are based on the weighting of values from the results of observational studies and interviews on each variable indicator of public open spaces. The empirical mean value of public open spaces in Summarecon Bekasi is 89, which is still below the hypothetical mean value of 110 and is at the lower limit of the category 'Not Enough .'Thus, to overcome the condition of public open spaces that are not yet adaptive to Covid-19, a structuring model is designed for public open spaces in Summarecon Bekasi. This structuring model is expected to reduce the percentage probability of social disasters such as the Covid-19 pandemic or other similar things.

Abstract

This community service was conducted in Gampong Santan, located in the Ingin Jaya District of Aceh Besar Regency, with the primary aim of renovating a space into an Al-Qur'an Education Park (TPA). The newly created space is specifically designed to serve as a dedicated area for Al-Qur'an literacy activities among the young community members. As is known, the level of Al-Qur'an literacy in Indonesia is in the moderate category, even though it is a country with the largest Muslim population in the world. Recognizing this gap, the community service project sought to address the issue by providing a dedicated and well-equipped space for the residents of Gampong Santan, particularly the younger generation, to engage in and develop their Al-Qur'an literacy skills. Therefore, the community service project sought to bridge the gap by providing a well-equipped facility in Gampong Santan. By revitalizing an underutilized space and transforming it into a hub for Al-Qur'an education, the project hoped to inspire and encourage the residents, particularly the youth, to deepen their connection with the Al-Qur'an.Keywords: TPA, Literacy, Community Service

Abstract

Acehs diverse cultural heritage expressed through music, dance, theater, and traditional customs, highlights the need for a dedicated space to preserve and promote local arts. This study aims to redesign the Aceh Arts and Culture Park in Banda Aceh using Neo-Vernacular Architecture, an approach that combines traditional values with modern design principles. The design adopts five key principles: Direct Connection, Abstract Relationship, Landscape Integration, Contemporary Interpretation, and Future Relationship. These are reflected in the form, massing, and faade treatments inspired by elements of Acehnese culture such as the Rumoh Aceh, traditional dances, and local customs. Located on Teuku Umar Street with a site area of approximately 31,000 m, the park is designed as a cultural hub equipped with supportive facilities. Using a qualitative method, the research involves field surveys and literature review. The study finds that the Neo-Vernacular approach reinforces cultural identity, improves climate responsiveness, and enhances the parks function as a center for cultural preservation and tourism. The project is expected to establish a new architectural identity for Banda Aceh and attract both local and international visitors.

Abstract

Serule Village is the oldest Islamic settlement originating from the 17th century during the Aceh Sultanate and is classified as a Historical Cultural Heritage Village. Therefore, this research aimed to (1) identify the concepts of protection/defense found in the early vernacular settlement patterns of Serule, (2) analyze symbolic interpretations and Islamic values in the arrangement of Serule vernacular settlements, and (3) examine the harmonization of defense concepts with principles of Islamic cosmology in the embodiment of Serule vernacular settlements. Descriptive qualitative methods were adopted along with data collection techniques, such as observation, interviews, and literature review. The results showed that the configuration of Serule Village emphasized the importance of protecting living things and hydrological factors to avoid flooding. The linear functional spatial composition described a functional zoning system including agricultural land and graves (profane), villages (semi-profane),  Nurul Iman Mosque (central area), as well as gardens and mountains (sacred). Furthermore, the research showed that the composition of landscape elements and environmental characteristics proved a harmony between the need for physical protection (defense concept) and the Islamic values found in Serule village settlements. This discovery contributed to the development of vernacular theory regarding the concept of defense and Islamic religious values.

Abstract

The primary function of residential spaces is to ensure occupant comfort, with thermal conditions playing a key role. Thermal comfort is achieved when body temperature balances with the surrounding environment, influenced mainly by temperature and humidity. This study examines the impact of building orientation on thermal comfort, particularly temperature and humidity, based on Indonesian National Standard (SNI). A quantitative method was used, combining field measurements and ANSYS 2021 R2 simulations. The study focused on four rental apartment (Rusunawa) units in Keudah, Banda Aceh, with different orientations. Measurements were taken over three consecutive days in March 2024, recording indoor temperature and humidity. Results show that building orientation does not significantly affect thermal conditions. The lowest recorded temperature was 28ºC in Block D (east-oriented), while the least comfortable unit had the highest temperature of 35.5ºC in Block B (west-oriented). The lowest humidity (66.2%) was recorded in Block C, while the highest (85%) was found in Blocks B and D.

Abstract

Seiring dengan pertumbuhan penduduk dan perkembangan ekonomi di Banda Aceh, kebutuhan dan gaya hidup masyarakat diperkirakan akan mengalami perubahan yang signifikan. Dalam konteks ini, hunian horizontal menjadi kurang efisien, sehingga apartemen sebagai hunian vertikal muncul sebagai solusi yang tepat untuk memenuhi kebutuhan perumahan yang terus meningkat. Hingga saat ini, Banda Aceh belum memiliki apartemen yang mewujudkan konsep hunian vertikal. Oleh karena itu, perancangan apartemen yang terintegrasi dengan pusat perbelanjaan dinilai sebagai opsi investasi yang relevan dan menarik untuk memenuhi kebutuhan dan gaya hidup yang akan datang. Perancangan ini bertujuan untuk merancang bangunan apartemen bagi kalangan menengah ke atas di Banda Aceh yang mengusung tema arsitektur hijau. Desain apartemen ini diharapkan dapat mengoptimalkan penggunaan lahan, meningkatkan efisiensi energi, serta mendukung keberlanjutan lingkungan melalui penerapan tema Arsitektur Hijau. Metode yang digunakan ialah studi literatur, studi banding, dan analisis. Hasil akhir dari artikel ini adalah Perancangan Apartemen di Banda Aceh berdasarkan prinsip-prinsip tema Arsitektur Hijau, meliputi penggunaan kisi-kisi vertikal di balkon, dinding berwarna cerah, lampu solar LED bulb, sistem panen air hujan (PAH), jumlah bukaan yang optimal, minimalisasi area perkerasan, penggunaan grass block pada jalur sirkulasi, kaca Low-E, serta penyediaan balkon dan ruang terbuka hijau.
