Riau Islands' economic growth is expected to be supported by an increasing investment component in line with improving net export performance on the expenditure side as well as increased growth in processing industry LU, construction LU and trade LU on the business side. Support for government spending through the distribution of social assistance will help maintain people's purchasing power and have an impact on increasing household consumption. Apart from that, in encouraging tourism development, especially attracting foreign tourist arrivals, a travel bubble between Singapore and Batam-Bintan was agreed upon by the two countries on January 24 2022. From the problems presented above, if MSMEs do not implement new initiatives or improve their ability to use technology, existing business opportunities will be taken by business actors from other regions and neighboring countries. Therefore, it is considered important for MSMEs to receive training on how to utilize technology to increase turnover and be able to compete nationally and internationally. Along with this, the number of poor people is increasing, therefore the government, in this case the Batam City Social Service, is participating in distributing social assistance to people in need by collaborating with BRI bank as HIMBARA bank. In this community service, the author tries to increase the turnover of Batam City MSME businesses by improving packaging, production and sales processes, funding and business capital, marketing and the use of BRI Merchant EDC machines.

Abstract

This community service project aims to enhance SME marketing through the collaboration of e-commerce and Instagram. Through specially designed training, SME participants were taught how to effectively utilize these platforms to market their products. The study employs both quantitative and qualitative approaches to evaluate the effectiveness of the training. Data were collected through questionnaires, interviews, and direct observations. The results indicate a significant increase in participants' knowledge and skills, as well as an improvement in sales after the training. These findings support the Diffusion of Innovations theory and integrated marketing communications, demonstrating that the collaboration of e-commerce and Instagram can enhance SME competitiveness. Recommendations include developing training materials, providing ongoing support, establishing partnerships with e-commerce and social media platforms, and conducting periodic evaluations.

Abstract

Aplikasi penjualan kue berbasis VB.NET merupakan sistem yang dirancang untuk mempermudah proses transaksi penjualan kue pada sebuah toko atau usaha kecil menengah (UKM). Sistem ini membantu pencatatan data produk, pengelolaan data pelanggan, transaksi penjualan, serta laporan penjualan harian dan bulanan. Pengembangan aplikasi ini menggunakan Visual Basic .NET sebagai bahasa pemrograman dan Microsoft SQL Server sebagai basis data. Pengujian dilakukan menggunakan metode Black Box Testing untuk memastikan fitur utama seperti input data produk, transaksi penjualan, dan pembuatan laporan berjalan sesuai kebutuhan. Implementasi aplikasi ini menunjukkan peningkatan efisiensi dalam pengelolaan data penjualan serta kemudahan dalam penyajian laporan penjualan yang cepat dan akurat.

Abstract

The Merdeka Curriculum implemented in Indonesia aims to strengthen the formation of the Pancasila student profile through the P5 Program. This program prioritizes project-based learning across disciplines to develop students' character. This research aims to develop a management information system for P5 at SMK Permata Harapan, which will support the learning and assessment processes in the implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum. The research method used is Research and Development (R&D) with a waterfall development model, which consists of the stages of requirement gathering, design, coding, testing, and maintenance. The proposed system involves users with different roles, including students, teachers, principals, and admins. The results of the alpha test showed that all features of the P5 management information system functioned well, while the beta test through a questionnaire on 30 teachers received a positive assessment with an average score of 4.6, indicating that the P5 management information system is very feasible to implement. This study concludes that the P5 management information system can support the implementation of the Merdeka curriculum and help teacher performance in managing learning and assessment.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mempermudah sistem Pencatatan Dan Pelaporan Retribusi Puskesmas Sei Panas Kota Batam selama ini masih menggunakan semi komputerisasi (Menggunakan Micrososft Excel) dalam setiap pelaporan bulanan sehingga kurang efisien. Sasaran dari penelitian ini antara lain dapat meningkatkan kinerja dan efektifitas dalam pembuatan laporan Bulanan maupun harian. Objek penelitian dilakukan pada Puskesmas Sei Panas selama 3 (Tiga) bulan. Objektifitas yang dilakukan pada Puskesmas Sei Panas adalah dengan mengacu pada Peraturan Daerah tentang Tarif Retribusi.

Abstract

Abstract

At the Batam Enterprise Agency in the Public Relations, Promotion, and Protocol Bureau section, when borrowing rooms they still use manual processes, and paper forms in the borrowing process, which results in less effective record keeping. So the author created a room lending dashboard information system. The aim of this research is to design a meeting room lending dashboard information system. The method used in this research is Object Oriented Analysis and Design (OOAD) which has stages of analysis, design, implementation, and experimentation, while system design uses Unified Modeling Language (UML) modeling, system flow diagrams consisting of (use case diagrams, activity diagrams, sequence diagram and class diagram), the result of this research is to produce a dashboard information system for borrowing meeting rooms which can make work easier and make room borrowing schedules well organized.Kata kunci: OOAD, Peminjaman Ruang, Sistem Informasi, Unified Modeling Language

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancangan aplikasi jasa service perhiasan emas berbasis Web yang dapat digunakan pada perusahaan dalam membangun sistem untuk menjawab kebutuhan dalam menjalankan usahanya yang sebelumnya masih menggunakan pencattan buku catatan service. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian metode waterfall dengan pendekatan perancangan sistem menggunakan menggunakan pemodelan Unified Modeling Language (UML). Tahapan dalam metode waterfall ini terdiri dari lima tahapan analisis dengan melakukan analisis kebutuhan yang diperlukan dalam merancang sebuah sistem, kemudian melakukan desain sistem jasa service, selanjutnya mengimpelentasikan hasil desain kedalam bentuk web. Setelah aplikasi jasa service selesai, kemudian dilakukan pengujian sistem dan terakhir melakukan perawatan terhadap aplikasi jasa service. Hasil perancangan aplikasi jasa service dapat memenuhi kebutuhan perusahaan dalam melakukan pencatatan, sehingga faktur atau nota dapat diakses secara cepat. Untuk selanjutnya Aplikasi ini juga perlu pengembangan penambahan menu interaksi secara online kepada tim pemasaran dan tim layanan dalam bentuk live chat

Abstract

Customer Relationship Management (CRM) is an important strategy for companies to understand customer behavior, increase loyalty, and reduce churn rates. However, the challenge that is often faced is how to manage increasingly complex customer transaction data and turn it into useful information for decision-making. This research aims to develop an artificial intelligence-based smart CRM application by integrating the K-Means algorithm for customer segmentation and XGBoost for retention prediction, as well as using the Extreme Programming (XP) methodology in the development process. The XP methodology was chosen because it is able to provide a fast, adaptive, and user-oriented iterative cycle, so that applications can be developed according to user needs. The results showed that K-Means can group customers into segments that are relevant to marketing strategies, while XGBoost provides retention prediction results with good accuracy. In addition, the application was tested using Blackbox Testing to ensure that the functionality runs according to specifications, as well as the System Usability Scale (SUS) which resulted in an average score of 89 and was included in the excellent usability category. This confirms that the system built is not only technically feasible, but also well received by users. This research contributes to presenting a smart CRM application that combines AI with modern software development methodologies, as well as opening up opportunities for advanced research at a larger data scale and integration with digital marketing systems.
