Abstract

The development of information technology that is fast and easy to use, allows someone to quickly publish certain objects. Information technology also contributes to the introduction and existence of an area that has tourism potential. If the tourism potential of an area is not carried out properly and correctly, it will not be known by many people. As the island of Mubut should be able to do. Mubut Island, which has a lot of potentials, can be a promotional tool to attract local and foreign tourists, especially tourism. One of the problems that arise from tourism management lies in the lack of good promotional strategies and the absence of clear and accurate sources of information about the potential of Mubut island tourism. Utilizing a website as a promotional medium is a good choice to achieve this. Therefore, in this service activity, we will build a website that can later be used as a means of promotion and training will be conducted in managing website content for the operator appointed as the person in charge of the website.

Abstract

Sistem yang baik mampu memberikan informasi dengan data yang akurat dan tepat dalam proses pengolahannya. Salah satu faktor yang terjadi di department Planning PT CIBA VISION BATAM adalah pencatatan informasi quantity per cavity untuk Dry Lens Air Optix Night and Day masih menggunakan file excel dimana semakin panjang file maka akan menyebabkan file yang akan dibuka lebih lambat. Data yang disimpan dalam file Microsoft Excel juga sangat tidak efektif karena jika terjadi kesalahan pada saat data diproses akan menyebabkan ketidaksesuaian informasi dan kehilangan data yang disebabkan oleh human error. Personnel Planning membutuhkan suatu sistem informasi yang dapat memberikan informasi ketersediaan Dry Lens Air Optix Night and Day per cavity. Perancangan sistem informasi persediaan Dry Lens per cavity ini berupa aplikasi sistem berbasis web yang dapat membantu dalam penyimpanan dan pengolahan data serta menampilkan hasil inventory Dry Lens per cavity sesuai dengan aktual dry lens yang tersedia di warehouse. Berdasarkan implementasi yang sudah dilakukan, sistem dapat menampilkan persediaan berdasarkan status yang ada sehingga tidak perlu melakukan sort data pada jumlah persediaan yang di export kedalam file excel.

Abstract

A coffee shop is a place that is visited to relax or organize and sells drinks and food. In today's era, people want something instant. The early coffee shop consists of 3 employees, namely 2 waiters and 1 cashier. In ordering drinks and food at Early coffee, customers take a long time to order, from queuing to waiting for the waiter to input the order until the order arrives. Likewise, the waiters are quite confused about where to sit because there are no numbers on each table. The menu ordering information system using a website-based QR code is a system that can provide convenience for customers in ordering menus at each table by scanning the QR code using a smartphone camera or scanner. QR code is a type of two-dimensional matrix code developed by Denso Wave in 1994, which aims to convey information quickly and get a fast response. Ordering QR Codes for customers also aims to replace manual input of table numbers and customer names so that the ordering process becomes more effective and efficient as well as easy to use and understand. The data collection methods used to make this application are the direct observation and interview methods. While the system development method used is the waterfall method. The application runs well and is ready to use from the test results using the black box method. By using this system, cashiers or waiters will find it easier to check orders and record order reports. Suggestions from the author are to develop this application by adding a real-time notification feature, doing regular database backups, maintaining data security, and integrating it with existing payment systems.

Abstract

Rapid technological advances have revolutionized various industries, including the retail sector, especially in the restaurant food category. One of the important developments in this operation is the emergence of a website-based Point of Sale (POS) application. This application utilizes web technology to providse an efficient and easy-to-use solution for managing sales transactions. The main goal is to understand the key features, benefits and challenges associated with this kind of application. The presence of the POS application helps overcome problems associated with manual sales systems, such as errors in recording transactions and the difficulty of monitoring finances. Therefore, this research has succeeded in creating a website-based Point Of Sale application using the prototype method in its development. The POS application uses the Codeigniter framework and MySQL as the database. The application built can help manage master data, transaction data, income and expense report data more easily and quickly. This application has been tested using black box testing. The testing process involved a diverse set of usage scenarios, including food ordering, order management, payment processing, and financial reports, print and print which produced results that matched their functionality.

Abstract

Pencatatan kehadiran siswa yang masih dilakukan secara manual di banyak sekolah seringkali menimbulkan berbagai permasalahan seperti kecurangan, keterlambatan informasi kepada orang tua, serta tidak efisien dalam pengolahan data. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan sistem kehadiran dan pelanggaran siswa berbasis website untuk capture wajah yang terintegrasi dengan website sekolah dan sistem notifikasi otomatis kepada orang tua/wali. Sistem ini menggunakan Raspberry Pi sebagai server utama, yang bertugas melakukan capture wajah siswa saat kedatangan, menyimpan data kehadiran ke basis data MySQL, dan mengirimkan pemberitahuan melalui SMS menggunakan aplikasi Traccar SMS Gateway. Aplikasi ini dibangun menggunakan bahasa pemrograman PHP, HTML, dan JavaScript, dan diimplementasikan pada kelas FASE F.XI-3 di SMAN 3 Kota Jambi. Waktu absensi ditentukan pada pukul 06.45 hingga 07.15 WIB. Selain kehadiran, sistem juga mencatat pelanggaran berdasarkan ketidakhadiran tanpa keterangan (alfa) dan mengonversinya menjadi poin pelanggaran. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwa sistem mampu menangkap wajah siswa dengan akurat, mencatat data kehadiran secara real-time, dan berhasil mengirimkan SMS kepada orang tua/wali siswa. Sistem ini dinilai efektif dalam meningkatkan akurasi kehadiran, keamanan data, serta transparansi antara pihak sekolah dan orang tua.

Abstract

Predictive modeling is important in analyzing graduates’ job outcomes, especially in forecasting job placements based on academic performance and courses. This study aims to improve predictive accuracy and interpretability in job placement classification using advanced machine learning models and SHapley Additive exPlanations (SHAP) analysis. Utilizing a dataset containing graduates’ academic records, including course grades, grade point average (GPA), and internship duration, this research employed several classification models, including decision tree, random forest, extreme gradient boosting (XGBoost), light gradient-boosting machine (LightGBM), CatBoost, and logistic regression. Evaluation metrics showed that most models achieve 92% precision, 92% recall, and 92% F1 score, with an accuracy of 85%, while logistic regression excelled with 100% recall, 96% F1 score, and 92% accuracy. SHAP analysis identified key features such as Administration, Computer Organization, Information Systems, Entrepreneurship, Professional Ethics, and Web Programming as the most influential in predicting job placement. Other significant contributors include Introduction to Information Technology, Software Engineering II, and Data Mining, although with relatively lower influence. Extracurricular activities and internship experiences were also found to be influential factors, highlighting the importance of academic and nonacademic elements in shaping graduates’ career prospects. These findings highlight and emphasize the need to provide students with certain academic courses to better prepare them for the job market. These findings emphasize the importance of interpretable machine learning models in career forecasting, enabling educational institutions to optimize curriculum design and enhance graduates’ employability. Future research should explore feature selection techniques, temporal analysis, and personalized recommendation systems to refine predictive accuracy.

Abstract

Pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk membantu kelompok nelayan dalam pengelolaan isi konten website sebagai media promosi dan pemasaran hasil pengolahan ikan mereka. Pada masa kini, dengan pesatnya perkembangan teknologi dan internet, memiliki kehadiran online sangat penting untuk memperluas jangkauan pasar dan meningkatkan pendapatan. Dalam kegiatan ini, kami bekerja sama dengan kelompok nelayan untuk mengembangkan konten yang menarik dan informatif untuk website mereka. Tim kami memberikan pelatihan kepada anggota kelompok nelayan tentang penggunaan website, teknik penulisan konten yang efektif, dan penggunaan alat-alat digital untuk meningkatkan visibilitas mereka. Hal ini memungkinkan mereka untuk menghasilkan konten yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan dan keinginan target audiens mereka. Hasil dari pengabdian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan keahlian dan pengetahuan yang dibutuhkan untuk mengelola website mereka secara efektif. Dengan adanya website yang menarik dan teratur, kelompok nelayan dapat mempromosikan produk hasil pengolahan ikan mereka kepada pasar yang lebih luas, baik di tingkat lokal maupun regional. Dengan demikian, pengabdian masyarakat ini dapat memberikan manfaat jangka panjang bagi kelompok nelayan, seperti peningkatan pendapatan, diversifikasi pasar, dan meningkatkan taraf hidup mereka secara keseluruhan

Abstract

In the digital era, the integration of technology in education has become increasingly important to create more effective and engaging learning experiences. The implementation of microlearning in education makes the learning time more effective and efficient. Microlearning delivers knowledge or information in small, digestible chunks, enabling learners to easily absorb, understand, and remember the content. Ulil Albab Integrated Islamic High School (SMAIT Ulil Albab) Batam is a formal educational institution located in Batam, Riau Islands. The learning media currently used by the school include books, photos, videos, and PowerPoint presentations. This community service activity aims to assist the school in developing a mobile-based microlearning media that can provide a more engaging learning experience and make students' learning time more effective and efficient. The methods used include preparation stages such as literature study and needs analysis, implementation stages like developing the microlearning application, and the final stages such as socialization and training. The results of the application testing showed that user satisfaction with the mobile-based microlearning application was 87.52% in the very satisfied category. Meanwhile, the evaluation of partner satisfaction with the community service activity revealed that the partner was very satisfied with the conducted activity, with a satisfaction percentage of 90.3%.
