Abstract

This study aims to obtain a geological model which is close to the truth and compare accuracy between the time domain 3D image of the PSTM results with the depth domain 3D image of PSDM results. There are 3 parameters to determine the accuracy of an interval velocity model in the production of a geology model: depth gathering that is already flat, semblance that has concurred with zero residual move-out axes, and depth image which conforms to the marker (well seismic tie). The analytical method employed is Horizon Based Tomography, which is a method to correct the seismic wave travel time error along the analyzed horizon. Reducing errors in the travel time of the seismic wave will decrease depth errors. This improvement is expected to provide correct information about subsurface geological conditions. The results showed that the depth domain image generated by the PSDM process represents the actual geological model better than time domain image produced by the PSTM process, evidenced by the sharpening of the reflector continuity, reduction of pull-up effect, and high resolution.

Abstract

Every person is now easier to express themselves through music. Many music-themed applications can be found on smartphones, including those based on Android. With the rapid development of smartphone technology nowadays, more and more applications are used as learning media. With the rapid development of technology, an application that can help a beginner guitarist learn basic guitar chords, their shape and tone, is needed. Therefore, an application was developed to facilitate beginner guitarists to learn basic guitar chords. In making this application, the software used consisted of Adobe Flash CS5, Adobe Air, Android Emulator, Android SDK, Adobe Photoshop CS6, and Sound Recorder application. This application had been tested and successfully implemented to facilitate beginner guitarists to learn basic guitar chords, along with their shape and tone.

Abstract

The selection of good menu from different types of foods, certainly not an easy doing. In this study, the menu selection that meet the daily nutritional requirements, and also low in fat, approximated using linear programming concepts. The nutritions to be considered are calorie, protein, fat, carbohydrates, calcium, phosphorus, iron, vitamin A, vitamin B1 and vitamin C. A sample of diet menu selection is applied. The result is, from a variety of foods available obtained menus that meet nutritional requierements and have a minimum fat content.

Abstract

Nowadays, almost every company use web aplication to do their business activity. Besides multi-platform it also easier for installation and maintenance. Other that web application need a fast and reliable internet connection. It is necessity to make a server in local area network with syncronize database from one server to another server. Syncronize database will run using replication server database. Database replication can use many tool, one of them is Slony that is specially create for PostgreSQL. Replication database can also to pretend stopping application when there is bad internet connection. Replication database is one of stanby server tecknic because down server. Database synchronize will be buid using PHP programming language and PostgreSQL database with Slony which is open source at all, so it will reduce the cost of installation and maintenance.

Abstract

Mesin rivet merupakan suatu mesin yang digunakan dalam penyambungan plat berbahan aluminium. Upaya untuk mengetahui kelayakan mesin rivet di PT. XYZ selama ini dilakukan dengan melihat hasil yang dikeluarkan oleh mesin tersebut. Seringkali terjadi ketika mesin sudah menghasilkan banyak barang, namun hasilnya tidak memenuhi standar kualitas yang baik. Ini disebabkan oleh tidak diketahuinya kelayakan kondisi pengoperasian mesin rivetnya. Salah satu cara untuk mengetahui kelayakan operasi mesin rivet tanpa harus menunggu hasil penyambungan adalah dengan memprediksinya dari faktor-faktor yang berpengaruh besar, yaitu kesesuaian tekanan hidrolik, waktu penyambungan, dan diameter punch dari mesin rivetnya. Oleh karena melibatkan variabel lebih dari satu, maka metode regresi linier berganda digunakan dalam membuat model prediksi kelayakan mesin rivet ini. Pengujian hipotesis, penghitungan koefisien determinasi dan korelasi dilakukan untuk menguji kelayakan model prediksinya. Selain itu, guna mempermudah dalam mengetahui hasil prediksi kelayakan mesin rivetnya, sebuah aplikasi berbasis desktop dirancang menggunakan pemodelan Unified Modelling Languag (UML) dan dikembangkan menggunakan bahasa pemrograman Java.

Abstract

Community service activities of the Batam State Polytechnic in 2018 are held together by all departments and taken place in Rempang Cate Village, Galang District, Batam City. A good documentation that can be seen more real is needed so that this activity can be better known by the outside community. One documentation that fulfills this expectation is a documentary video. This video production consists of 3 stages, namely pre-production, production, and post-production. The activity not only ends when the documentary video is finished, but continues with an evaluation to find out whether the video in presenting service activities is better when compared to ordinary documentation (by photo). Then, the video is published in the mass media, both print and electronic media. The results of the devotion to the making of this documentary video is the documentation of the community service of the Batam State Polytechnic in 2018 well and real, as well as the recognition of the Batam State Polytechnic and its social services in the wider community.

Abstract

The number of tourists and the fame of a long sand beach is still lacking, therefore it is necessary to introduce to the public about the beauty and marine products that are owned on Pasir Panjang beaches. This service community was carried out to socialize the benefits of marine products through training in making Pempek in the Pasir Panjang Coastal Village. We have carried out this service with the Partner of RW 03 Pasir Panjang, Pasir Panjang Village, Rempang Cate District on Friday, July 27, 2018. The questionnaire results of Speaker questionnaire with a Likert Scale, equipment and Room were found that the interpretation score from all observation was all worth 100% and include in the interval category very well, which meant that it was rated very well by 18 respondents. While for the consumption questionnaire the interpretation of the score of the observations is worth 95.556% and is included in the interval category Very Well which means it is rated very well by 18 Respondents. The results of monitoring on October 22, 2018 were obtained information that there were residents who had made Pempek and sold in Pasir Panjang environments, while production and sales had stopped due to constraints Limited fishing results. The results of the questionnaire obtained the most suggestions for further training to hold Crafts, other input so that the training activities continued. Abstract

Water destilator merupakan alat yang digunakan untuk menyuling air laut menjadi air tawar. Konsepnya sederhana dan serupa dengan siklus hidrologi, yaitu dengan menguapkan air laut dengan cara dipanaskan, yang kemudian uap air tersebut diembunkan dan dikumpulkan ke dalam suatu wadah penampung sehingga didapatkan air tawar. Sumber panas yang dipergunakan berasal dari energi yang beragam: minyak, gas, listrik, tenaga matahari dan lainnya, namun dikarenakan menerapkan konsep ramah lingkungan alat ini hanya mengandalkan cahaya matahari sebagai energinya. Alat destilator ini adalah alternatif sederhana yang ekonomis dan dapat digunakan dalam skala rumah tangga serta ramah lingkungan. Alat ini merupakan pengganti sistem destilasi pabrik dengan harga yang relatif mahal dan masih sulit dijangkau oleh penduduk Indonesia. Jenis teknologi tersebut cukup sulit karena teknologinya rumit dan membutuhkan investasi dan estimasi dana yang tinggi dalam skala rumah tangga. Destilasi dapat terjadi dengan memanfaatkan potensi alam yaitu sinar matahari menggantikan bahan bakar minyak dan gas alam untuk mengubah fase uap air laut. Karena suhu yang diperlukan untuk mengubah fase air laut menjadi uap tidak terlalu besar (dibawah 100oC) atau di bawah satu tekanan atmosfir (1 atm), maka pemanfaatan energi matahari adalah solusi alternatif yang dipilih sesuai dengan kondisi Indonesia yang terletak pada daerah katulistiwa dan beriklim tropis mempunyai jumlah sinar matahari yang cukup.

Abstract

The development of information technology that is fast and easy to use, allows someone to quickly publish certain objects. Information technology also contributes to the introduction and existence of an area that has tourism potential. If the tourism potential of an area is not carried out properly and correctly, it will not be known by many people. As the island of Mubut should be able to do. Mubut Island, which has a lot of potentials, can be a promotional tool to attract local and foreign tourists, especially tourism. One of the problems that arise from tourism management lies in the lack of good promotional strategies and the absence of clear and accurate sources of information about the potential of Mubut island tourism. Utilizing a website as a promotional medium is a good choice to achieve this. Therefore, in this service activity, we will build a website that can later be used as a means of promotion and training will be conducted in managing website content for the operator appointed as the person in charge of the website.
