Abstract

This research is important as it portrays a notable advancement in current internet technology known as the Internet of Things (IoT), which facilitates advanced services through the interconnection of physical and virtual objects. One crucial aspect of everyday life is air quality, especially indoors, as indoor air pollution differs from outdoor air pollution. An important indicator to determine the cleanliness of a room is its humidity level. In this context, this research holds significant relevance as it can help ensure the effectiveness and safety of stored medications under appropriate temperature and humidity conditions. Therefore, this study designed a drug storage room that requires a tool to measure the humidity value of the room in real time and the humidity conditions in the room. The solution to this problem can be overcome using Internet of Things technology. In this project, a hygrometer, or humidity meter, based on Internet of Things technology is made. Humidity is measured by the DHT-11 sensor, which is integrated on the NodeMCU ESP8266 board. Humidity measurement data can be observed via the Blynk IoT platform available on smartphones. With this tool, humidity can be observed in real time, even from a distance. The results of this study are that the tool can measure the temperature and humidity of the medicine room, and the tool can send humidity and temperature measurement data to the Blynk IoT and MIT APP Inventor servers. On the Blynk IoT website, the dashboard can display temperature, humidity, and drug safety measurement data in real time.

Abstract

Current transformers are essential for substation protection. It converts large currents into smaller currents that are used for measurement and triggering protection systems. Errors in the conversion of electric current can lead to measurement inaccuracies and protection system failures. Improper maintenance and use can shorten the life of the transformer and also lead to earlier system failure. One of the tests applied is the tan delta test to determine the loss coefficient of the insulating material. A decrease in insulation quality increases the tan delta value. The capacitance value is also measured in the tan delta test. An increased capacitance value indicates the paper insulation has been damaged. Generally, damaged insulation causes a short circuit between capacitor layers which is characterized by an increase in capacitance value. By using the GST-Ground method with the Megger Delta 4110 measuring instrument, the tan delta results of the R, S, and T phases in the southern send bay of Bandung-1 GITET Tasikmalaya are 0.42%, 0.47%, and 0.45%. The results of independent calculations are phase R, S, T are 0.29%, 0.28% and 0.31%. From both results, the current transformer can be said to be feasible to operate because the tan delta value is below 1% which is the operational standard of the current transformer.

Abstract

This qualitative research analyzes the implementation of the ACO-MV device in reducing power outages. The study aims to understand the experiences, perspectives, and impacts of the ACO-MV device on stakeholders, including premium customers, businesses, and industries. Using a qualitative approach, in-depth interviews are conducted with key stakeholders, such as PT PLN (PERSERO) UP3 Kramat Jati representatives, premium customers, and business owners. These interviews provide insights into their experiences and perspectives regarding the ACO-MV device. Observational studies and document analysis supplement the interview data, providing a comprehensive understanding of outage incidents, device operation, and maintenance procedures. Thematic analysis is employed to identify recurring themes, patterns, and insights related to the effectiveness of the ACO-MV device in reducing power outages and its impact on stakeholders. The research findings contribute to a deeper understanding of the qualitative aspects of the ACO-MV device's implementation, informing decision-making and potential improvements in its design, operation, and maintenance. The framework and dataset utilized in this study offer a robust foundation for analyzing stakeholder perspectives and experiences. This research helps advance the understanding of the ACO-MV device's impact on power outage reduction and supports informed decision-making processes.

Abstract

Heat water is part of our needs in our daily life. With its variety of uses, a tool is needed to heat the water. In this study, a system will be designed so that the heat water can turn off automatically whenever the water is boiling. The methods used will include literacy studies from previous research journals, component selection based on literacy studies, and system design. The results obtained will be in the form of division of experimental water based on the set of temperature points on programming as a benchmark. From the experimental data, it can be concluded that the relationship between the amount of water and the temperature value for the set point in the programming will affect the water produced at the end of the experiment greatly. The more the amount of water, the higher the set point must be given.

Abstract

Currently, the electrical energy monitoring system can only be monitored by PLN. Electricity users can usually only see the amount of usage each month without knowing electricity usage at any time. Excessive use of electricity will cause payments to increase. Therefore, this research was conducted to monitor the electrical power used in boarding houses via an internet connection using the blynk application. This study aims to determine the amount of electrical energy consumption every day. This lot-based monitoring tool uses the PZEM-004T sensor to read the amount of electrical energy consumption such as voltage, current, power and energy. As for the media interface that displays the amount of electrical energy consumption using the LCD and the Blynk application.

Abstract

Remote control car is a miniature car with a smaller size, which is controlled directly by remote or joystick using the HC-05 bluetooth module with the android smartphone application. Making a remote control car using Wemos R1 D1 as a microcontroller and four DC motors to drive the wheels of a remote control car. At this writing it was done to test the remote control car system with an application created using the MIT APP Inventor. In this test it was found that the remote control car system can work well at a distance of 0-20 meters and there is a difference in delay for each command used.

Abstract

Technology can be used in various fields that can support research, of course the results of this research can be useful and beneficial as a form of community service. Even today, technology plays a role in helping people with special needs (disabilities) experience difficulties. . One example is blind people who experience difficulties due to limited vision so that sticks are used as a solution to be used as walking aids for people with disabilities in facilitating their daily activities. Therefore, the authors designed a tool called "TOKCER BANTALAN : A Smart Stick for the Blind Auxiliary Tool" with the research method being carried out starting from the stage of conducting a literature study which is a process of reviewing the literature on references related to the research being carried out. . After that, preparation includes technical and non-technical aspects such as basic preparation related to hardware devices, software tools that support research. Then proceed with the process of testing the tools including the program and analysis of the results of the research conducted. The results of this study are walking aids for the blind using the Arduino Mega 2560 microcontroller equipped with an ultrasonic sensor HC-SR 04 that can detect distances < 50 cm, a water level sensor that can detect standing water with a distance of ≤ 40 mm, and is equipped with a panel solar power as input power to be able to run the tool. In addition, this tool will automatically issue sound notifications when it detects objects and puddles blocking the way for the blind. It is hoped that this research will make it easier for the blind to carry out daily activities

Abstract

Dalam dunia bisnis, di era teknologi saat ini promosi merupakan hal yang sangat penting untuk memperkenalkan produk atau jasa yang di tawarkan kepada konsumen, saat ini teknologi telah berkembang dengan pesat dan memberikan banyak kemudahan dalam melakukan promosi penjualan. Aplikasi penjualan genteng menggunakan Augmented Reality berbasis android, merupakan aplikasi yang dapat menampilkan bentuk 3D dan menampilkan informasi produk genteng. Aplikasi penjualan genteng menggunakan Augmented Reality berbasis android menggunkan metode markerless, Metode Markerless dapat bekerja tanpa harus menambahkan peralatan tambahan serta tidak perlu mendaftarkan atau mengenalkan objek 3D terlebih dahulu. Menggunakan augmented reality pengalaman pelanggan dalam memilih produk menjadi lebih menarik dan interaktif.

Abstract

Along with the development of the era, technology is increasingly advanced and the use of fossil fuel vehicles is starting to be widely used and also more and more human populations are added to factories everywhere causing air quality to decrease and temperatures to warm up. Air pollution cannot be avoided. Air pollution is a condition in which the quality of the air decreases and is contaminated by substances, both harmless and harmful to human health. Some harmful gases in the air such as : CO, CO2, O3 and others. Carbon dioxide gas (CO2) Carbon dioxide is a gas that is colorless and odorless. When inhaled at concentrations higher than the concentration of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere, humans and other living things therefore cannot know if these gases are around. Humans can tell when they feel the impact. In this case, an air quality measurement tool has been created that can be carried anywhere easily and real-time measurements are used to measure air quality based on the Air Pollution Standard Index (ISPU). Using Sensor Mics-6814 to measure carbon dioxide gas (CO2) and DHT 11 to measure temperature.

Abstract

Bandara Internasional Jenderal Ahmad Yani Semarang adalah perusahaan negara yang memfasilitasi jasa penerbangan khususnya pada bidang penerbangan. Salah satu hal penting yang ditangani adalah masalah mengenai keselamatan penerbangan. Pembagian beban di Bandara Ahmad Yani Semarang dibedakan menjadi dua yaitu essensial dan non essensial. Salah satu beban essensial yaitu ALS. Dalam hal ini Airfield Lighting System (ALS) merupakan kunci pokok dalam penanganan keselamatan penerbangan. Salah satu penunjang Airfield Lighting System adalah runway lighting, yang merupakan kunci pokok dalam pendaratan sebuah pesawat terbang. Mengingat fungsi runway lighting sangat vital maka sistem catu dayanya tidak boleh mengalami mati bahkan kedip sekalipun. Bandara dilengkapi dengan Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) sebagai backup catu daya pada Airfield Lighting System (ALS) ketika listrik PLN padam dan pada saat genset memerlukan waktu untuk menyala  sebagai pengganti listrik utama PLN.
