Abstract

Abstract  Battery is a DC system device, its existence is very important in the world of electricity to maintain the stability of the DC system. Battery function in Extra High Voltage Substation (GITET) as a backup to supply DC device components such as relays, PMS (Disconnecting Switch), PMT (Voltage Breaker), and SCADATEL telecommunication devices. In the event of blackout, the rectifier does not get a power supply whose function is to convert the AC to DC power current to meet the needs of the DC device lsitrik supply remains active and working, so that the battery that replaces the role of the rectifier to maintain the stability of the DC system until the repair is complete. To maintain the stability and feasibility of battery function, routinely conducted tests on batteries carried out once every 2 years. This paper will compare the data of test results conducted in 2018 and 2020. From the results of the comparison data obtained the function of the state of the battery. Testing the battery capacity through 4 stages, floating is a battery in a full charger does not receive and emits current under normal circumstances the battery is connected to the rectifier. Equalizing aims to equalize and level the voltage value on each battery cell. Dischaerge Battery is a battery testing process to obtain a total efficiency capacity value (Ah) of the battery. When the battery is discharged large, the next step is boosting to restore the voltage value at a normal state (floating) 1.40-1.44 volts.

Abstract

Catu daya listrik adalah sumber daya yang diperlukan untuk peralatan listrik di rumah atau di mana saja, misalnya untuk penerangan, menggerakkan peralatan, atau kebutuhan lainnya. Energi listrik yang dihasilkan dapat muncul dari berbagai sumber seperti tenaga surya, uap, air, minyak, batubara, angin, panas bumi, atom, berorientasi matahari, dan lain-lain. Di bandara banyak peralatan listrik diperlukan agar bandara dapat bekerja dengan baik, jika tidak ada listrik, mungkin tidak ada bandara. Semua yang ada di bandara atau di tempat yang lain akan membutuhkan daya listrik, misalnya catu daya, atau sumber daya dari PLN dan genset, menuju semua peralatan listrik yang membutuhkan daya PLN dengan alasan daya PLN menghasilkan tegangan yang stabil, dan bandara memerlukan catu daya stabil untuk peralatannya. Ada banyak peralatan listrik yang digunakan di terminal udara, maka dari itu peralatannya memerlukan aliran catu daya yang konsisten, peralatan tersebut diantaranya adalah pembangkit listrik dan jaringan bandara yang merupakan pemasok daya yang dibutuhkan oleh bandara

Abstract

The Arduino Uno-based Robot Vacuum Cleaner has been created as an innovative solution to deal with the problem of difficulty in cleaning the floor. Instead of traditional methods such as sweeping or using a large vacuum cleaner that require time and effort, this robot can be operated efficiently through Arduino Uno automatic control. By utilizing Arduino Uno, the robot is able to perform various functions automatically, including moving forward, backward, turning right, and turning left, while sucking up dirt independently. Through the test results, it was found that this robot vacuum cleaner can vacuum dust and garbage thoroughly. In addition, it can operate without error for 3 hours on a full battery, demonstrating reliable and efficient performance.

Abstract

Pemanfaatan energi baru terbarukan semakin meningkat seiring dengan berkembangnya pemahaman masyarakat mengenai dampak lingkungan. Namun daerah karawang memiliki masalah krusial yaitu tingginya tingkat polusi udara dan debu yang sering kali melanda daerah ini. Polusi udara ini dapat menyebabkan penumpukan debu pada permukaan panel surya, yang selanjutnya mengurangi efisiensi konversi energi matahari menjadi listrik. Dampak polusi udara menghasilkan partikel-partikel kecil yang dapat menempel pada panel surya, memblokir cahaya matahari yang seharusnya diserap oleh sel surya. Akibatnya, produksi listrik dari panel surya menurun, mengurangi potensi energi terbarukan yang dihasilkan. Sistem SWAM (Smart Water Mist) dirancang untuk mencegah penumpukan debu pada panel surya yang disebabkan oleh polusi udara di daerah karawang. Dari hasil analisis yang dilakukan diperoleh daya rata rata sebelum dibersihkan memperoleh hasil 1,4898 Watt. Sedangkan rata rata sesudah dibersihkan menggunakan sistem SWAM mendapatkan hasil 3,2218 Watt. Berdasarkan analisa kurva perbandingan daya memiliki kesimpulan bahwa penggunaan sistem SWAM memiliki persentase perbandingan senilai 1,16 %. hasil penelitian ini diharapkan dapat menjadi masukan untuk menggunakan sistem SWAM pada proyek proyek PLTS.

The lack of air quality monitoring facilities in certain areas leads to a lack of public awareness of air pollution levels, which can adversely affect health. As a solution, the development of AeroSenseMonitor, an Arduino Uno-based air quality monitoring tool with DHT11 and MQ135 sensors, is proposed. This tool is expected to provide accurate information on air quality, enabling people to take preventive measures and protect their health. By raising awareness of the importance of clean air, it is hoped that the AeroSenseMonitor can be the first step in addressing the negative impacts of air pollution in Indonesia.

Abstract

The campus area of Singaperbangsa Karawang University has increased air pollution levels due to the growth of urban activities. Daily activities such as traffic, construction, and industrial activities are indicators of increased emissions of air pollutants such as PM2.5, carbon monoxide (CO), and volatile organic compounds. The lack of real-time air pollution data can hamper efforts to identify sources of pollution and take appropriate action to reduce air pollution on campus. To overcome this, solutions are needed to reduce sustainable pollutant emissions. The application of the concept of sustainable solutions is poured into research through the design of an air pollution monitoring system called Smart Air Guardian. This supervision is carried out based on a microcontroller using the MQ-2 and MQ-135 gas sensor which will monitor the air in real-time. Gas sensors MQ-2 and MQ-135 use a multilayer sensor structure that has high sensitivity to CO and CO­2 content. This system is equipped with Bluetooth dual-mode capabilities and is integrated with IoT (Internet of Things) features so that it can process and display sensor data output through an LCD that easily detects air quality. The application of this system is used as an effort to monitor the air quality of the Singaperbangsa Karawang University campus to increase awareness about the importance of maintaining air quality.

Abstract

Auto Weigh Air Sorter (AWAS) is a technological innovation designed to sort items based on weight at airports. This system uses Arduino as a controller and a load cell as a weight sensor. Items are sorted using a servo motor based on the data obtained from the sensor. The aim of AWAS is to improve efficiency and accuracy in baggage handling, thereby speeding up the process of pricing and baggage handling. Thus, AWAS have the potential to make a significant contribution to the aviation industry by improving service quality to passengers and reducing baggage waiting time. This research focuses on the design, implementation, and evaluation of the AWAS system, as well as its potential application in the airport context.

Abstract

Dewasa ini, dunia industri terus berkembang secara pesat, dan peran instrumentasi menjadi sangat krusial dalam menjaga efisiensi dan juga kendali operasi. Teknologi instrumentasi industri, seperti pressure transmitter, menjadi penting digunakan di berbagai sektor industri untuk mengukur tekanan liquid atau fluida. Namun, alat ukur memerlukan  upaya kalibrasi secara berkala sebagai bentuk pemeliharaan ataupun saat instrumentasi tersebut tidak mampu membaca secara akurat pada kondisi tertentu. Ketidakakuratan pembacaan menyebabkan dampak yang signifikan pada suatu proses. Sebagai upaya bentuk perbaikan. Metode zero calibration menjadi salah satu teknik penting dalam memastikan alat dapat membaca nilai nol yang tepat saat tidak adanya input atau masukan. Sehingga mampu meningkatkan akurasi pengukuran secara keseluruhan Studi kasus ini dilakukan di salah satu industri, industri  ini menggunakan pressure transmitter untuk mengukur tekanan buburan kertas sebesar maksimal 6 bar pada proses sebelum dan setelah refining. Refining adalah sebuah proses mekanis yang melibatkan penggunaan mesin refiner untuk menggiling bubur serat atau pulp guna menghasilkan serat yang lebih halus dan optimal dalam pembuatan kertas. Sehingga, penting menjaga hasil pengukuran pressure transmitter tetap akurat dengan kalibrasi sehingga tidak mengganggu berjalannya proses dan menghasilkan efisiensi operasional untuk menjaga kualitas produk. Sebelum dilakukan kalibrasi menggunakan metode zero calibration, pressure transmitter menunjukkan kesalahan rata-rata 2,702%, setelah melakukan kalibrasi dengan metode zero calibration, nilai rata-rata error turun mencapai 0,148%. Hal ini menunjukkan peningkatan yang signifikan dalam akurasi pengukuran. Sehingga disimpulkan bahwa pressure transmitter tersebut masih layak digunakan pada proses refining di Industri tersebut.

Abstract

In the current era, as we know, the industry in the field of shipping or logistics services has experienced very rapid growth in Indonesia. Logistics is a term for storing goods on a large scale which cannot be separated from the industrial sector, including the logistics delivery services industry. The development of the expedition services market in Indonesia was stated by Mr. Feriadi, General Chair of the DPP of the Association of Indonesian Express, Postal and Logistics Delivery Service Companies 4 (Asperindo), one of which was caused by the e-commerce market which has developed rapidly. Seeing this problem, we offer a solution, namely a tool that can steer and move goods according to the destination point that has been determined based on the goods code. The product to be designed is named RAMOS (Robot Autonomous Sorter and Mover). This robot can be used in a warehouse and the robot can walk autonomously according to a predetermined destination point. Functions as a tool for sorting and moving goods in logistics warehouses. This product can reduce human effort in moving goods that have been classified, and can reduce errors in the placement of goods that have been determined. RAMOS (Autonomous Robot Sorting and Moving Goods). This robot can be used in a warehouse and the robot can walk autonomously according to a predetermined destination point. Functions as a tool for sorting and moving goods in logistics warehouses. This product can reduce human effort in moving goods that have been classified, and can reduce errors in the placement of goods that have been determined. Then, there is an advantage to this robot, namely that it is able to avoid obstacles or collisions.
